Chapter Nine: Random Silliness

Yugi/ Yami @ Petco (with their pets)

Yugi: Yea, we're here! Now I'll get my pet!

Bakura: oink, oink.

Yami: (looking lovingly at Fred) But no pet can be as good as mine!

Bakura: oink.

Yami: oh no! I haven't forgotten about you! You're a great pet too.

Yugi: Yami, are you talking to that pig?

Yami: yes. What's the problem?

Yugi: ahh… never mind.

Salesperson: (big cheesy grin) Hello… welcome to Petco! We are the pet friendliest store around! How can I help you today?

Yami: I'd like to buy two collars.

Salesperson: (looks around) For what?

Yami: (holds up Fred and points to Bakura) For these, of course.

Salesperson: Oh, of course! Well, on aisle 10 are the pig collars and on aisle 18 we have a special on carrot collars. Only $5.

Yami: Really? Yugi, I'll see you later. Come on guys! (Yami, Fred, and Bakura go off in search of collars)

Salesperson: Now, what can I help you with?

Yugi: Well, I'd like to get a pet, probably a…

Salesperson: Well then! Let's go this way! (drags Yugi)

Yugi: But you didn't let me finish. I want a…

Salesperson: I know, I know. You want a dependable one; I hear it all the time. Well I've got just the thing right here. (holds up tarantula) This is your pet!

Yugi: I don't think so. What I really want is a…

Salesperson: Oh yes, I've got just the thing. Who would want a spider anyways? (No offense to anyone who owns one)

Salesperson: (goes to next aisle) Now this, this is defiantly what your looking for! (points to monkey cage)

Yugi: A monkey?!

Salesperson: Yes, it's a very good monkey. Very dependable. Only thing is, it doesn't like pointy hair too much, you might want to take care of that.

Yugi: My hair?! (horrified) Umm… I don't think so. Do you have any…

Salesperson: Yes, yes! Right over here! Those other two pets were lame, but this has *got* to be the one! (points to ferret cage)

Yugi: Umm… what is it?

Salesperson: Why, this is a ferret. Best pet you'll ever have!

Yugi: Eww! Oh, I don't want that! Where's Yami? Yami! We've got to go… now!

Yami: (runs up with both pets, now collared) What's wrong Yugi?

Yugi: I wanna go home. I don't want a pet anymore.

Yami: Alright hikari. But did you see my beautiful new pet collars?

Yugi: Yeah, their great. Let's just go home.

Yami: Ok. Fred? Fred? Where are you? (looks all around until he sees a piece of carrot in Bakura's mouth) No!! Fred! Bad Bakura! (Bakura runs away) No… wait Bakura. I'm sorry… please come back. Bakura!

So both Yugi and Yami ended up petless. Poor Fred! Ohh! *tears* Thank you to misura for giving me the idea of Bakura eating the carrot. And thank you SO much to all of my reviewers!! You guys rock!
