And for the Marik and Malik, thing *ahem* think of what they're doing behind closed doors.
Now, on to the awaiting chapter!

Ch.37: Realization Thinking

“Atemu! Atemu!” Alysia called out when he fell asleep. “Wake the hell up already!” She grabbed his shoulders and shook him with some force.

Atemu woke up. “I'm up! I'm up!” He said as he tried to keep the world from moving.

“What's going on here?” Kayra said as she and the other two walked up to them.

“The Pharaoh here has been dozen off since we got here.” Alysia said.

“I would be if I have to wait for someone to change into a simple dress.” Marik said with a laugh, which got rewarded with a bump on the head by Kayra.

Alysia had to hold her chuckle in.

Atemu completely ignored their whole conversation and stared into deep space, into a part of his memory.

-Atemu's POV-
~8 years later (after the last memory)~
“Hey Spirit.” Yugi said. “Today we have a transphere student from America…” He explained his day.

It has been a while since that day, when he first started on the puzzle. Everyday he will tell me about his school, friends, and his life, though he was caught staying up a few times, but that never stopped him.

~Couple months later~
I never thought about being released from the puzzle since Yugi was here, in fact, it never crossed my mind, until one day, when Yugi solved the puzzle.

`I'm finally going to meet him! I'm finally going to see the face of my savior!' I thought as I saw a door, leading to the exit of this place. I walked through it only to feel another type of magic grab hold of me and forcefully taken away from Yugi.

“Spirit! Wait up!” Yugi called out.

`I would if I could.' I thought as I felt the magic `dragging' me and draining my energy along the way.

The next thing I knew, I was forced back into something, which later I realized I was in forced back into a body, probably my own. For a while, it seems, I have kept myself inside the darkness I knew too well. And, just like before, I felt like giving up and that the gods were enjoying seeing me suffer. Then I felt heavy.

“Pharaoh!” I heard a kind voice.

`Yugi!' I thought, and there was no denying it, it was him.

0000000000
“Atemu!” Alysia screamed in my ear.

I placed a hand on my pounding ear.

“What the hell is wrong with you today!?” She asked, knowing that she has my attention.

“I've been remembering things.” I said calmly.

Alysia looked at me, as if to find some clue, then she sat down on a seat across from me. “What kinds of things?” She asked curiously.

I noticed a bag next to her and remembered that the others were here as well. “Got yourself an outfit you like?” I asked, big mistake!

“Yes, and we're getting off topic.” Alysia said as she crossed her arms. “I'm tired of you keeping things to yourself; it's not healthy.”

I knew that there's no way of getting pass this without facing her wrath. I was about to explain, until…

“Hey cutie!” Some girl from out of nowhere and sat next to me. “Hi, I'm Torri. What's your name?” She said, fluttering her black-violet eyes.

I have to admit, she is pretty, but she doesn't compare to Yugi, though I'm not sure why. “I'm sorry Torri, but I'm already with someone right now.” I said, not knowing what I mean, but I went along with it. “We better get going Alysia.” I got up and headed towards the door.

“You could've just say `Stop looking at me bitch!'” She said with good humor.

“That's something you would say.” I said, receiving a friendly punch on the arm.

“So, are you going to tell me what you were thinking, or am I going to force it out.” She said.

“I've been thinking of the past.” I said. “From the time when I was still Pharaoh, to when I first met Yugi.” I ignored the lusted sites of women I passed.

“Serious thinking huh?” She said.

I nodded. “When you asked me about what kind of feeling I get when I'm with Yugi…” I said as I see his face in my mind.

“Do you have an answer?” She said.

I was in deep thought again, not noticing the world around me. I couldn't get him out of my mind. His smile, his laugher, his kind nature, his eyes… Damnit! Everything about him is indescribable. That's when it hit me.

-Normal POV-
Atemu stopped half way away from the enterance of the mall's garden escape.

“What's up Atemu?” Alysia asked noticing that he wasn't walking.

“I'm an idiot.” He said.

“What's that?” She asked, thinking that all that thinking has fried his brain.

“It was right in front of me and I was too stupid to see it!” He shouted as he smacked his head with his fist.

`Okay, he's totally lost it.' She thought, until she got an unexpected hug from him. “What the hell!?” She said, a bit freaked.

“Thank-you Alysia.” He said.

“For what?” She asked as he straighten himself up.

“For making me realize that I can't fool myself any longer. I see now that I denied this feeling for far too long.” He said as he placed a hand over his heart. “You help me realize that I'm in love with Yugi and I was to stupid to not realize it sooner.” (A/N: About time!)

Alysia smiled at her success. `Give him a few questions and some time to think and BAM! He's calling himself an idiot.' She thought.

Atemu took off for the exit.

“Where the hell you think you're going!?” She yelled.

“To tell the one I love how I feel!” He called out as he exited out the garden.

Alysia shook her head, then she noticed Atemu's bag he left behind. She let out a sigh. “He owes me a lot for helping him out, damnit.” She said as she grabbed the bag and started to run out of the garden as well.
