Hello people! My first demon story even though I write them all the time. The title is stupid cause it only has to do with the first part of the story. I own nothing so leave me alone. Hope you enjoy!!

A young angel flew over a large city, his blond bangs blowing in his face. His crown of black, red, and gold hair swaying as he flew. His name was Yugi and, according to their leader, was the fastest angel in heaven.

Flying over skyscrapers, he looked around for the black figure that was supposed to be their. The magnificent city was called Domino City and was having some problems with a creature that was causing mass murders in the past 2 weeks.

The figure was said to be very fast so the leader had sent out Yugi to catch it. He even gave Yugi a certain spell to use to envelop it in a magic net that would tighten the more it struggled. The spell was fairly easy to do but very powerful and very deadly to an evil being.

Not seeing the being anywhere, Yugi flew on to check the forest, which was where the last murder was. Landing softly, Yugi searched for any strange power reading he could get. He gasped when the power reading he got made his head hurt from the size of it.

`That hurt, whatever is out here is strong. I may need to call some back up.' Yugi thought. Suddenly, he heard the sound of a twig being snapped. He looked over and saw nothing.

Hopping up so that he was slightly hovering over the ground, he walked over to a bush and pulled some branches back. Sighing when he saw nothing, Yugi took off to the sky. He headed back to the city.

As he flew, he was surprised to see a black shadow flying below him. Looking down he tried to find it again. He saw it suddenly land on a building that was about 10 stories high.

Landing on a nearby building, he watched as it walked on the roof of the building and look around. It hopped back up and flew off.

Yugi followed and flew above it, catching up easily. He watched to see if it would appear behind the cloud and when it did he gasped.

The creature looked almost exactly like him. The only difference would be the few gold streaks going through the black part of his hair and his crimson eyes that peered at the city below him as he flew. Yugi watched the leathery black wings flap every now and then. The leathery tail balancing him when he landed on another building roof.

Yugi stopped flying when the creature, now demon as he knew it, landed and retracted his wings and tail into his back. The demon casually walked into the building from a door on the roof. Once it was gone, Yugi followed and retracted his wings to his back. He walked in too and saw the place to be a busy place.

Following his power reading, Yugi was lead to a room that said `Basement' on the door. He opened the door and got the spell ready. He clicked on the lights and heard a low hiss from a corner of the room. He cautiously walked towards to corner and once he was there saw that it, indeed, had a figure occupying it. He quickly threw the net and growled when the figure moved out of its reach.

The demon made a run for it and Yugi quickly followed. They ran all the way back up to the roof, where the demon stopped suddenly and turned around. Yugi was a couple yards away and had already had a magic net ready. Before the net could be thrown, however, the demon took off in a dive, heading straight towards the ground.

Before hitting the ground, the demon took out his wings and flew back up towards the sky. Yugi watched as his tail came out and spikes immediately appeared on it. The demon headed right for Yugi and before colliding with him, he turned and the spiked tail hit Yugi. Yugi jumped back and grabbed his arm in pain.

Trying to remember what his teacher told him about demons, Yugi didn't notice when the demon landed on the roof again.

"You should give up, little angel." The demon told Yugi.

Yugi heard him but was still trying to remember what he was told back in school.

// Remember class, every creature has a weak spot. For example, a living deed's weak spot is it's neck and a demon's weak spot is it's tail..."//

`Ah ha!! It's tail, I need to grab it's tail!!" Yugi thought. He snapped back to reality and found himself being charged with another spike attack. Before it hit him, Yugi grabbed the part of the tail that didn't have a spike and yanked hard.

The demon fell to the ground but immediately stood with it's back to Yugi. "Let. Go. Now." It threatened.

Yugi looked at the demon and got another spell ready. The magic net appeared and Yugi sent it flying towards the demon. He gaped when the net disappeared before it could touch the demon.

"A little net won't catch me you idiot!" The demon yelled as he turned around and winced slightly.

Yugi saw the wince and got an idea. "Come with me or else..." He threatened.

"Or else what?" The demon countered.

Yugi tightened his grip and grinned when the demon's knees buckled and he fell. The demon tried to stand again but Yugi squeezed tighter. The demon yelped and stayed down.

"You will pay for that." The demon said. The demon's wings shot out at Yugi and, before he could do anything, small spikes drove into his hand. Yelping, Yugi loosened his grip as the tail became slippery from his blood.

The demon slipped his tail out and flew off with a smirk. `Ha, I showed him a lesson! I-hey, where did he go?' He thought as he looked around for the missing angel. "Hn." With that, he flew off at half speed.

Yugi watched as he healed his hand. "You better watch out demon, I'm coming to get you." He whispered to himself. He pulled out a small radio and pushed a button. "This is Yugi, can you here me? Over." He said into it.

"We can here you loud and clear! How did it go? Over." A scratchy voice said.

"I need reinforcements. The creature is a demon and a strong one at that. Over."

"Sending reinforcements!! Will be there in a minute! Over."

"Okay, thanks. Bye. Over." Yugi said and put it away. He looked in the direction the demon went in and did a small targeting spell. `There, now I'll know where he is.' He thought.

As said, reinforcements arrived and they took off. They were led to a small abandoned building that was a little out of town. They landed and Yugi turned to them.

"Alright, be careful, there is a demon in there. If seen then I want you to call me and, if possible, immobilize it. That counts as aiming your weapons for its tail, wings, if possible, its feet. Now, spread out and get into pairs once inside. Let's go..." Yugi explained.

Once inside, Yugi went on his own as the others paired up and went in separate directions. He walked through many halls with a shard ready. A shard is a very sharp feather that grows on the under side of the wings. It is loaded with any poison you can think of. The one he is carrying is loaded with a sleeping poison mixed with a deadly poison that could kill if not treated.

He opened a door and saw nothing in it. Shrugging, he moved to another door and, before he could open it, a light appeared from around it's edges. Opening it slowly, he looked inside. Seeing nothing, he became suspicious.

There was a sudden yell from down the hall. Yugi ran towards the sound and winced at the site. The demon had his back to Yugi but Yugi could see the angel he was draining blood from. Yugi ran up to the demon and dug the shard into his shoulder blade.

The demon yelled and let go of the angel. He whirled around and came face to face with the angel from before. Not wanting to get another injury, he ran and busted out through a boarded window. He took flight immediately and ripped the shard out of his shoulder, already starting a healing spell.

"Come on!! He went this way!!" Yugi yelled as he hopped out the window. The others followed and immediately saw the demon.

Yugi stayed slightly ahead of the others and got another shard ready. He flung it at the demon and noticed several other shards had been flung at him too. Smiling, knowing the demon couldn't dodge these, Yugi quickly flew right behind the demon.

As Yugi had thought, the demon tried to dodge the shards but one came and poked a hole right in his wing. Not able to keep balance, the demon went tumbling down towards the abandoned side of city. He landed roughly on the roof of a building and tried to stand up but winced. He growled to himself and stood. He ripped the shard out of his wings and retracted them to his back, knowing that there was a chance that it could get hurt again.

Yugi watched as the demon ran towards the end of the roof to jump off. He chanted the spell for the net but made it much stronger. He hurled it at the demon, it hitting him with full force. He hit the roof and tried to break free but the more he struggled, the tighter the net got.

The demon got an idea. He rolled to his side and looked at how far the edge of the roof was. `Perfect...' he thought. He started rolling towards the edge and once he reached it, he rolled off. As he fell, his tail poked out of the net and the spikes came out, cutting the net. Once it was cut, he broke free and landed on the ground easily.

Yugi watched with wide eyes. `He's clever...' he thought. `But so am I!' He took off after the demon, knowing it wouldn't fly away because of its injured wing. Seeing it, he tackled it to the ground, the other angels following and pinning his wrists, ankles, and stomach to the ground.

"We got him!!" an angel yelled and everyone sighed with relief.

"Woah, he looks just li-" the angel was cut off as the demons tail thrust itself through his chest. His body fell to the ground when the tail was removed.

"No! Jack! Why You!!!" an angel yelled and grabbed the demons throat, trying to strangle him.

"Stop!! Leader told me to bring him back alive!!" Yugi yelled as he pinned the tail to the ground. The other angel let go and they all picked up the demon. Yugi cast several spells and the demons tail was tied to his right leg and hands behind his back with a magic rope. Using a transporter, Yugi transported them all back to heaven. The others flew off to tell their friends that they caught a demon.

Yugi led the demon to a grand building. It had a set of huge doors that, once entered, you could see the desk in which the leader sat at. He pushed open the doors and pulled the demon inside.

Seeing the leader, Yugi bowed and forced the demon to the ground. He heard a low growl from the demon but that was all.

"Hello Yugi, is this the demon that was causing the problems?" The leader, and also Yugi's grandfather, asked.

"Yes Grandpa. What do you want me to do with him?" Yugi asked as he stood.

"I will change him here, Yugi. If this works he will be okay and hopefully forget his memory." Solomon said. "Bring him here Yugi..."

Yugi pushed the demon to the old man sitting at the desk. Once there, he took a couple steps back and waited.

"What is your name, my young man?" Solomon asked.

"My name is Yami." The demon said as he looked at the old man.

"Well Yami, I'm going to change you now, hopefully you will have no memory but you will have to be still."

"Change me into what?" Yami asked, afraid of what Solomon would say.

"Why, an angel of course! And with all that raw energy you possess, you will be a strong one." Solomon said as he tried to see Yami as an angel.

"N-no! I don't want to be an angel!!!" Yami yelled at the old man.

"You will be one, whether you like it or not..." With that said, Solomon started chanting a spell.

He looked at Yami and, all of a sudden, Yami began to glow. Yami yelled at the top of his lungs and the rope around his hands broke. He clutched his head and flared his wings. The light became so bright that Yugi had to cover his eyes with his arm. There was a sudden, even brighter, flash of light before it all just disappeared.

Yugi looked around and saw no Yami. Confused, he looked and saw a figure laying on the ground. Running over to the unconscious person, he flipped them over and gasped.

It was Yami. He somehow looked different, looked......softer. Yugi looked around again and saw his grandpa standing and watching him. He had a kind smile on his face.

Yami shifted and opened one crimson eye, then the other. He stared at Yugi then at Solomon, his eyes widened as he suddenly sat up and looked at his hands.

"....What have you done to me?.....Why?!" He yelled as he clutched his head with his hands and stood up.

Solomon's smile faded. "He still remembers.... that is not good. Yugi! Restrain him!" he yelled to his grandson.

Yugi stared at Yami then at Solomon. Quickly, he got up and walked over to Yami. Yami was still clutching his head and saying `why' over and over again. Yugi touched Yami's arm and Yami stiffened.

Yami looked over at the angel and glared at him. "Don't touch me angel." He threatened.

"I wouldn't be talking since you're one too." Yugi said as he grabbed Yami's wrist. He looked at his grandpa and nodded.

Solomon started to chant another spell and Yami, again, began to glow. Yugi let go of Yami and looked into Yami's crimson eyes with his own amethyst ones.

Yami yelled again as his memories were ripped from his mind. He flared out his wings again and deep crimson feathers went everywhere. Slowly, everything went black...

Yugi look in awe as Yami's wings flared to their true size, crimson feathers blowing in front of Yugi. Yugi reached out and caught on. `I've never seen red wings on an angel before...' he thought as he examined it.

He gasped when Yami fell to the floor. He ran over to him and checked to see if he was okay.

"He will be fine Yugi, but when he wakes up, don't say anything about him being a demon. If he finds out, he can throw such a tantrum that he will change back into a demon and regain his memories." Solomon said as he approached them.

Yugi looked back at Yami and gaped. He had changed. His hard looking features softened and his black leather had turned to white leather instead. Giving Yami a gentle shake, Yugi stood up and watched him.

Yami opened his eyes and looked at Yugi with a questioning look. He looked at Solomon, then at the building. "Where am I? Who are you?" Yami asked.

"You are in my office Yami, I am Solomon and this is my grandson Yugi. He is your friend and you are an angel. We are in heaven, don't be afraid." Solomon answered.

"Yugi? Angel? Heaven? Afraid? .....Friend?" Yami asked confused. He looked over to Yugi then at the floor. He stared at his reflection on the marble floor. "Me? I'm Yami?"

"Yes Yami, now let's go home." Yugi said gently. He looked into Yami's gentler crimson eyes and held out his hand.

Yami took it and stood up. He followed Yugi out the huge doors and looked around. Almost everything was white. He could see everyone wearing only white and that the fountains, buildings, and everyone's wings were white. He looked at his own wings in confusion. "Yugi, why aren't my wings white?" He asked.

Yugi looked at him. "I don't know why Yami, maybe because you're....special?" Yugi tried to lie but angels weren't good at that. He led Yami to his house and up some stairs. He pointed to a door. "That can be your room." He said to Yami.

Yami entered and looked around the normal room covered in...white. `I'm starting to hate that color...' he thought. He turned back to Yugi. Before he could say anything, however, the door bell rang.

Yugi rushed out of the room and down the stairs. He opened the door to see his blond friend Jou. "Hello Jou!"

Jou came inside. "Hi Yug! I heard the news about you catching that demon!! Everyone said that it looked just like you!! I-" Jou was cut off by Yugi clamping his hand over his mouth.

"Shhh!!" Yugi yelled as he thrust his head in the direction of the stairs. "He's up there" He whispered to Jou.

Jou's eyes widened. He removed Yugi's hand and mouthed "What's he doing here?"

"Grandpa changed him, he's an angel now so don't be mean." Yugi whispered. He looked back up to the stairs, "Yami, can you come here?!" he yelled. Yugi watched as Yami appeared. "I want you to meet Jou! He's my best friend. Jou, this is Yami..."

Jou watched as Yami came down the stairs with a small smile. `I can tell he's lying, but I can't make my move now.' He thought. "What's up Yami?" he asked as he shook hands with Yami.

"Um....I don't remember..... but uh hi." Yami said as he shook Jou's hand.

"Well, I called Ryou today, he was all excited about your...uh.... mission." Jou said.

"Really? Good, I need to go talk to him, Anzu too. Watch Yami for me!" Yugi said as he flew off.

"But!! Come back!! Yami, I'll be right back!" Jou yelled as he took off after Yugi.

Yami looked confused but then took off. He didn't know where he was going but it didn't matter to him. As he flew, he came across many different places. All, of course, being white.

`Why can't I remember? What do I remember?' Yami closed his eyes. He opened them. `All I can remember is....black." Yami thought. Suddenly, a scene flashed before his eyes. Yami landed at a meadow and stared in awe.

The flash was of a city, just like this one except everything was black. There were people, like angels, except their wings were black and leathery. The people wore black instead of white.

As Yami thought about the scene he sat down. He was snapped back to reality when he heard people talking. Crawling over to the side of the hill he landed on, he looked over and saw Yugi with Jou, a boy with long flowing white hair, and a girl with shoulder length brown hair.

As they talked, Yami listened.

"Yugi, how strong was he?!" the white haired boy asked.

"He was tough to take down cause he was very clever. He got out of everything I threw at him and I had to resort to tackling him to the ground. It was really scary, you would have freaked out Ryou." Yugi said as he laughed. "I took him to Grandpa and he changed him onto an angel. His name is Yami. Man! He was so strong that it took all of us to keep him down and we lost two people. One was drained while the other.... was stabbed in the chest. We tied him up with some magic rope and took him to the office. The first time Grandpa tried, Yami still remembered so he had to erase all his memories again. Yami hated it too. He was yelling and everything!" Yugi said as he stopped to take a breath.

"What did he look like?" the girl asked.

"He looked almost exactly like me!! The only differences were that he was taller, had crimson eyes, had more blond in his hair, and seemed darker." Yugi said. Suddenly Yugi gasped.

"What's wrong Yugi?" Ryou asked. He looked in Yugi's direction and gasped too. Jou and Anzu looked too and also gasped.

Standing on the hill was a teen that looked almost exactly like Yugi. He had his eyes clenched shut and his fist balled. He wings were flared behind him.

"Ah! The demon!!" Anzu yelled. She yelped when Yugi elbowed her side hardly.

"Hi Yami, is something wrong?" Yugi asked.

"I was a demon? And you changed me to an angel?! Why?!" Yami began to glow slightly.

"No!! You weren't a demon!!" Jou yelled to him.

"You changed me against my will?! Why you!!" Yami yelled and the small group of

4 watched as his red feathery wings changed to a black leather. A tail emerged and poked a new hole in his now black leather pants. His soft crimson eyes changed to a hard crimson that only showed how angry he was. The glow died down and the new Yami was on all fours panting slightly. He looked up at the others with hate evident in his eyes. "I'm going to kill you..." he whispered loud enough for them to hear. With his memory back, Yami charged Anzu with his spiked tail ready.

Anzu looked around for any sort of shield but found none. She got into a fighting stance, ready for the blow. She was totally taken by surprise when Yami flew up suddenly. Before she could turn around, the spiked tail drove into her back and out through her chest. Blood splattered everywhere.

Yami took his tail out and let the body fall. He looked at Ryou and charged him. The said boy ducked his head and only ended up with a small scrape on the arm. He didn't see the booted foot that was sent flying towards his chest. He was sent flying.

Yami now aimed at Jou, who had out a shield to protect himself. Yami charged anyways and spliced right through the shield. He collided right into Jou, sending them flying. He hopped up and grabbed Jou's neck, bringing him to his feet. Before he could completely strangle the boy he felt a sharp pain in his back. They both fell and landed on the ground. Yami stood and tore out the thing that was lodged into his back. A shard. Yami turned around and saw Yugi.

Yami charged Yugi with, what looked like no fighting stance. But Yugi could see the spell he was chanting. Yugi started chanting a reflect spell and was ready when Yami said the last word. Yugi was surprised when 5 black unicorns charged him with fire-like eyes. They had their horns ready. Yugi released the reflect spell and watched as the unicorns turned white and charged Yami instead.

Yami dodged out of their way and sent a blast of energy to destroy them. Once done, Yami chanted another spell and watched as a small black rabbit hopped out of a bush. Yugi didn't notice it however so he didn't expect the rabbit to cling to him and explode.

Yugi fell to his knees and looked up at Yami. Suddenly there was a bright flash of light and it seemed like everything froze. Yugi stood and gaped at the figure standing before him....

Ha!! I made a little cliff hanger!! Sorry about the little details, I have a problem with that. Well, other than that, I need ideas!! I can't think of anything!! All I can think of is... I guess I shouldn't tell you, oh well. Anything else? Oh yeah!! If anyone wants to be my beta reader or whatever than that would make me happy!! I probably won't update in a while, sorry! r/r plzzz??? See ya!!
