Nothing much to say except I hope you enjoy!

Ryou fidgeted slightly uneasy in his seat as they drove toward Seto's obviously annoying Marik who wrapped his arms around him and held him strongly.

"Stop fidgeting, besides you really have no reason to be nervous, I'm the one who could blow a million dollar deal here." He said kissing him on the cheek.

Ryou nodded silently as he relaxed slightly in Marik's arms nuzzling his head in the crook of Marik's neck kissing him softly on the neck. Marik watched the fine mansions that passed by. Good prospects, he thought to himself, if I ever want to move. These were the types of houses that were at least a few millions of dollars apiece. They drew up to a massive black gate, and stopped to be let in.

"I bet Seto will be real happy to see you. Your friendship might make it easier for us to get along." Marik said as they passed through the gates. "I just hope this goes well. I really need this partnership."

"He's pretty reasonable if he respects you, he doesn't like dealing with those who don't have a clue about what they're talking about. You should do fine." Ryou said smiling at him as they went up to the door and a servant answered it leading them into the living room.

"I will inform master Kabia of your arrival, would you like something to drink before I go sir?" The manservant asked.

"No thank you." Ryou said softly looking around the room.

"A glass of scotch, straight up please." Marik told him.

"Very good sir." The servant bowed, turning to the bar and pouring the drink. He handed it to Marik saying, "The Master will be right with you sir." And he turned around and left.

"Sir? The guest's have arrived." The servant said bowing as Seto looked up from his laptop.

"Guest's?" Seto repeated

"Yes, lord Marik appears to have brought someone with him." The servant said "A young boy as it seems." He said

"Maybe it's his brother." Seto said disregarding it, considering he practically brought his brother everywhere he went, the only reason he wasn't with him at the moment was he was at a summer school trip.

He was surprised when the young boy was not Marik's brother at all but a blast from the past more or less…he looked like Ryou Bakura, he went to school with him.

"Ryou?" He said making sure

Ryou smiled "It's good to see you again, it's been a while really." Ryou said still smiling at him.

"Indeed…" Seto said trailing off slightly staring at him but quickly directed his attention to Marik quickly. "My name is Seto Kabia, I'm glad you could come." He said looking Marik straight in the eye.

"Thank you for taking the time to see me." Marik said as he shook the hand Seto offered him. "I have really been looking forward to this meeting."

"Me too. I am very interested in your ideas. However," he said glancing at Ryou, "Ryou and I haven't seen each other in a while, and if you have no objections while we wait for dinner I would like to catch up. It has been a while." He added, smiling at Ryou.

"Of course. Our meeting can wait until after we eat." Marik said, following Seto to the couch.

"So, how have you been?" Ryou asked, sitting down next to Marik.

"I have been fine." Seto said, wondering at how close Marik was sitting with Ryou. "I have been out of town mostly, traveling. I am thinking of extending my business and putting up new offices."

"How is your brother? Is he not living with you any more?" Ryou asked politely.

"No, not at all, he's at summer camp with friends is all. And your brother? How is he?" Seto asked

"Arrogant as always, he's at home right now visiting." Ryou said

"Brother?" Marik asked curiously

"My brother Bakura, we don't spend much time together since he graduated and moved away probably why I haven't mentioned him." Ryou explained

"As I recall you two don't get along very well either." Seto added

"No, not really, but he's family I can't exactly do anything about him. At least you get along with your family." Ryou said shrugging.

"Why did you all the sudden get interesting in funding archeology?" Ryou asked "Not to offend you but your company is a gaming industry, why the expansion?" Ryou asked.

Seto shrugged simply "New and different things, new profit as well." Seto said.

He wasn't hurt for money, he didn't truthfully have any need for partnering with Marik the true reason was because he wanted to see Ryou again. He was the only one who didn't treat him like a millionaire, or was nice to him just because he was rich. Ryou treated him like a normal person and that's what Seto liked about him. He knew that Ryou's father was in archeology but he never knew where Ryou lived or anything like that mainly because he used to move a lot because of his fathers work so locating him was next to impossible and even when he seemed to have settled down, how was Seto supposed to approach him after almost two years of never seeing each other. He wasn't one to admit his feelings or even show emotion willingly…usually, but Ryou could bring it out of him he didn't even care that he was staring at him intently but other than that he wanted a professional reason for seeing him again. He contently listened to Ryou talk about his family answering his questions but then it struck him…he came with Marik. Why did he come with Marik, how did they know each other and why did they come together in the first place. His thoughts were broke by his manservant.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you sir, but the dinning room is ready to receive you." The man said bowing.

Seto nodded and stood. "Shall we?" He said as Ryou and Marik both stood up. Seto led the way into the private dining room, a grand table seated for only six. "I thought we would be able to be more private in here. I don't really think we need the big dining room." He told them.

"This is nice." Marik complimented him. "I only have my big dining room because I normally don't eat at home unless there is a dinner party. Not too much time I am afraid."

"Yes, I understand completely. I haven't been home in eight months. I have been living in hotels. I miss my dinners though, and when I am home, I try to eat here." Seto told him as the servants brought out the soup. Ryou leaned over his bowl, breathing in the enticing flavors. It smelled like garlic and potatoes, with other fragrances he just couldn't place.

"This smells delicious." Marik commented, picking up his soupspoon. "So, how do you two know each other exactly?" He asked.

"School" Seto simply said "We're about the same age I'm only about two years older than him. You skipped a couple of grades if I recall right?" Seto asked

"Yes." Ryou said looking at his soup trying to match the spoon Marik was using with one of his own praying he choose the right one too.

"But we were also involved in many of the same clubs so most of our classes throughout high school were the same, might as well make a constant a friend." Seto said as they continued finishing their soup.

Next came their appetizers as Ryou looked at the placement of silverware a bit flustered.

"When does the salad come?" He asked Marik softly.

"At the end of the meal." Marik answered simply.

"But that's the fork I knew." He said in a whispered hush although Seto heard he found it cutely funny.

"Just start on the outside and work your way in." Marik said as he turned his attention back to Seto who sat with an amazed grin on his face.

"I used to get confused too. When I was a boy, I would get in trouble if I used the wrong fork." Seto told him smiling.

Marik started laughing. "When I was a kid, I tried to use my salad fork for soup, my father found it so amusing all he could do was laugh, and so I got away with it. I had to go to etiquette lessons though." He said thoughtfully.

"You actually had to take lessons on how to eat?" Ryou said laughing, almost choking on a potato.

Seto started laughing too. "At least my parents weren't that terrible." He said.

Marik smiled. "It wasn't bad. My father was a respectable man who worried about his self-image. He said my actions and behavior reflected on him. Hence, the lessons."

"I find it quite silly to have so much for a meal, but I'm used to eating alone." Ryou said

"Your father out of town too often?" Seto asked

"Yes, but his work is very important to him, he lives for it." Ryou said

"He should live for you…" Seto said trailing off a bit.

Ryou was a little bit shocked at what Seto had said, he didn't much enjoy talking about his family or others making comments about them but Marik gave him a soft smile making him forget the comment completely.

"What about you two?" Seto asked "How did you meet?" Seto asked actually very curious.

"My father works for Marik." Ryou said promptly, before Marik could even open his mouth. "He loves it though. He says there is nothing better than a dig. He enjoys this company better then his last. He says he has more resources and funding."

"Well, I try." Marik said. "He is a good, dependable man. Very eager."

"Yes, I have met him." Seto said. "So Ryou, what have you been doing while your father is away?"

Ryou shrugged slightly "Nothing really, my only other friend really works for Marik…Joey do you remembers him?" Ryou asked

"A little, I never really liked him though. Never understood why you did." Seto said.

"He's nice is all, he made me comfortable." Ryou said softly. "I stayed home most of the time, I wanted to get a job but just about anywhere I apply think I'm too young and my father thinks I'm too young to start college so I'm sort of stuck with nothing." Ryou said sighing deeply.

"Maybe I could set you up with a job here? A secretary or along those lines, you could learn more about your fathers work maybe want to go into that field yourself…besides it would give you something to do." Seto said

Ryou nodded his head and smiled softly at the gesture.

"Speaking of which…" Seto began as the entrée came. "Let's say we get down to business already." Seto said folding his hands and looking at Marik intently.

"That is fine with me." Marik replied, picking up his fork and knife and cutting a piece of veal. "Basically, we have found a site to dig. This spot seems to be very promising, seeing as how since the last earthquake, three substantial finds have already been made. I have a team, all highly qualified in their fields, who would love the chance to dig there. I am offering a partnership, fifty fifty, of the profit to be made from it. The least amount of profit I am thinking would be about a million dollars. And one of the pieces they have found is worth twice that much."

"Sound's very promising indeed, but I will need to know more about the site and other things. The cut of profit for your workers as an example, how much funding will I have to put in…we have much to discuss." Seto said as Marik simply nodded at his comment.

"I have everything with me right now, you will wish to partner." Marik said confidently.

Ryou pretty much sat on the sidelines for the duration of the meal including afterward in the living room as the two talked and discussed the site and other aspects of the partnership. Ryou glanced at the clock realizing it was already a little past eleven, but the two didn't seem anywhere near tired or finished for that matter so he waited as patiently as he could on the couch listening intently until he accidentally fell asleep on the couch but thankfully it went unnoticed by the two until the partnership signing agreement was being signed by Seto.

"I think we managed to wear Ryou out." Seto said gesturing to the sleeping Ryou then glancing at his clock. "It is almost two…no wonder really." He commented signing it quickly and handing the form back to Marik "It was a pleasure Mr. Ishtal I look forward to doing business with you. Do you need someone to take Ryou home for you, I could call one of my men if you need." Seto offered.

"Oh no. That is alright." He said smiling. "He is staying with me for the time being. I will just get Joey to come and get him real fast. I shall be right back." Marik said as he disappeared out the door. He found Joey by the car, as always, and the two walked back into the room. Seto had his back to the door, looking at Ryou.

"He looks peaceful when he sleeps, doesn't he?" Marik asked fondly, making Seto jump.

"Yes." Seto answered as he moved away slightly from Ryou realizing how close he was. Seto Moved aside when Joey gently lifted Ryou into his arms and took him out to the car. Joey couldn't help but smile slightly as he took Ryou away it was obvious…at least to him that Seto liked Ryou, Joey knew that since high school though.

"How long will Ryou be staying with you? If you don't mind me asking that is." Seto quickly added.

"I am actually not quite sure. His dad is on that dig right now, and it is uncertain when they will be through. Maybe a month or so. The one he is on has been a lot more fruitful then we anticipated." Marik told him, watching Joey walk out the door with Ryou in his hands. Marik turned and offered his hand to Seto. "I really appreciate you taking the time to see me. And thank you for dinner. It was delicious."

"Your welcome, I hope to see you again sometime, we should arrange another meeting, this weekend perhaps, Saturday if you are free." Seto said.

"that will do fine." Marik said as he bowed his head slightly and began to leave.

"Bring Ryou along, I'll see you then." Seto said leaving through another doorway.

Marik watched the streets go by, relishing the quite that this hour always seemed to provide. Ryou was in the seat opposite of him, still sleeping soundly. He really is beautiful, Marik thought to himself. Maybe I will take tomorrow off, he told himself. Spend the entire day with Ryou. Yes, he thought, that is perfect.
