J&M Studio's: We wouldn't have brought it out if we could, but we we're already nearly bankrupt so this is our last chance….WE'RE DOOOOMEEEED!!! Prologue:

 

The sun was shining brightly on a group of explorers. They had already been up since six o'clock this morning. Today they were extra exited because they thought they found a tomb. Perhaps they had found another important pharaoh. But before they could enter the tomb they first needed to get rid of the big rock in front of the door. The big rock had made it appear that there was absolutely nothing there and it was because of luck that they had actually discovered that there was indeed something there. Within an hour the rock had been excavated en they were now trying to get it out of the way. “Oké prepare to lit the fuse!” : professor Peter Galahad said. He was a tall man in his forty's and the leader of the expedition but never had much luck with finding anything. He had brown hair and blue eyes which were an unusual combination. “Oké here goes!” : his helper Iago said. “Three, two, one.. There she goes!” At the same time Nico said that a huge “BOOOM” was heard and bits and pieces of the rock flew al around the site.

 

“Oké be careful men”. : professor Peter said. It was now an hour later and they had managed to get the door opened. “What is this place? “: Iago asked. “It doesn't look like a tomb.” He was right. It was dark en the walls weren't smooth like in a tomb. There weren't any hieroglyphics on the walls either like someone wanted to make sure no one knew who was buried here. I don't like this place one bit : Iago thought. Right then they stumbled on a trap. The floor suddenly collapsed under the first men's foot and he fell right on some spike's that were underneath it. “Are you sure it isn't a tomb?” : Peter asked. “I don't know, the trap suggests it is but then why aren't there any hieroglyphics on the walls en why aren't the walls smooth like in other tombs?” : Iago said. “ Perhaps because he was a traitor. : Peter answered. “They were known to be buried without any references or protective spells. Even if they were important they wouldn't get a proper tomb as punishment he continued.” Fifteen minutes and nine traps later (they had lost two more men but Peter wanted to go on) they came across what was apparently the end of the tomb. There was another door but there was something strange with it. In the door sat an amulet in the shape of the head of Anubis. After some pulling Peter managed to get it out. When he did the door opened. There in the middle of a square room stood a coffin. It was made completely out of marble but there was nothing on it. The room itself was also bald en there wasn't even a single hieroglyph to find. “This is certainly very strange. See if we can open the coffin perhaps there is something inside it that can tell us who this was.” : Peter said. I can't put my finger on it but I have the feeling that something important is here he thought. “Look there is a hieroglyph of an Anubis head on it this must be good. Let's all grab a hold of the lid and push it of…one, two, and three! “:he yelled. In the beginning it didn't seem they couldn't get the lid of but slowly millimetre by millimetre the lid moved. After hours of pushing the lid finally came of and they were greeted with the strangest site they had ever seen. In the coffin wasn't a mummy as there usually was but there was a dehydrated corps. It didn't have any wrappings around it. “My god he was buried alive!” said Peter. “How do you know that?” asked Iago. “Simple, just look at the scratch markings on the side of the coffin and at the bottom of the lid. He was most definitely alive when he was put in here and that's probably also why he doesn't have any bandages around him.” “But why would they do that?” Iago asked. “I don't know I've never seen anything like it before but my guess is that he has done something so horrible that they didn't want him to have an afterlife at any cost. Look at his hands it's like he pretends to hold something.” “Perhaps the amulet we found in the door?” “That's possible, let's try it.”

At first it didn't look like anything was happening, but after a few moments the eyes of the amulet lit up a bright crimson. Then there appeared to be a shadow coming out of it. Suddenly the shadow spoke: “I am back and I'm going to take revenge on the one who defeated me.” (I don't own terminator) Peter didn't understand one bit of it and guessed it must have been ancient Egyptian. Next thing he knew the shadow plunged down on his men leaving nothing but corpses behind. After that the shadow returned to the amulet. Peter became so scared that he ran for it. He never saw the eyes of the corps in the coffin lit up…

 

A couple of days later in Domino city Yugi was watching the news. He was a boy quite small for his age, had tri-coloured hair in the shape of a star with the blond bangs lining his face. He had big innocent amethyst eyes which he usually used to get his yami to agree to something. He had a round chin which made him look young for his age. He wore an inverted pyramid necklace around his neck and whore leather clothing.

 

/Yami the news is starting, you'll be late if you don't hurry up./ Yugi said trough there mind link. He new Yami loved to know what was going on in the world something that had stuck to him from being pharaoh.(They talk trough there mind link because Suguroku was at home and Yami doesn't want it to look like Yugi is talking to himself. So when there is someone in the house they talk this way)

 

//Oké aibou just a moment// answered Yami.

 

In an instant a nearly perfect replica of Yugi sat beside him on the bench in spirit form. There were a couple of differences between them but you had to know that to notice. Yami had blond streaks in his hair (which was for the rest identical to Yugi), a pointier chin a more self-confident look, crimson eyes and a deeper voice but that was al. He was the spirit of the puzzle and a five thousand year old pharaoh. Right now he looked like he had just woken up.

 

/Where you asleep?/

 

//Yes//

 

/Sorry, if I woke you up/

 

//It's oké//

 

With that said they turned to watch the news. “Tonight's top story is the archaeological dig in Egypt. After professor Peter was send to Egypt by Professor Hawkins on an assignment he disappeared. He is found today after he was missing for four day's. Apparently he has gone insane. We'll go live to the hospital now. Hello Betty are you there?”: the host asked. “Yes I am Bill. We found out that the professor doesn't appear to have any brain damage but mutters the same words the entire time.” Next moment there was a startled looking Peter in view saying something Yugi didn't understood. Yami however tensed right up after hearing it.

Yugi noticed this.

 

/What's wrong Yami?/

 

//I've heard this before//

 

/What you knows what he says?/

 

//No but I've heard the language before//

 

/Is it Egyptian?/

 

// That's probably why it is familiar somehow//

 

/You don't know what he said? Do you know someone who does?/

 

//One but I don't want to ask him for help//

 

/You mean…/

 

//Yes that baka tomb robber he still has al his memory's so he probably still knows how to speak ancient Egyptian//

 

/Can't you ask anyways, I mean he has changed/

 

//Never, not in this lifetime or another!!//

 

He said that with so much determination that Yugi knew that pushing him farther was not wise so they watched the rest of the news. Unbeknownst to them Bakura had also seen it but didn't understand it. They didn't know this was going to be the start of another adventure.

 

Chapter one: Another adventure.

 

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. It was right after the weekend and Yugi's alarm clock went of but he didn't seem to hear it. Yugi always got out of bed himself so his grandfather usually slept until 8:30, that was what his grandfather believed anyways. The truth was that Yami always woke Yugi up if he slept trough his alarm which he always did. Yami appeared next to him and sighed. It seems it was going to go as usual.

 

//Yugi it's time to wake up//

 

/zzzz zzzz zzzz/

 

//Yugi if you don't get up you'll be late for school//

 

/zzzz candy zzzz/

 

//YUGI!!//

 

/Huh what? What is it Yami?/

 

//You only have ten minutes left before school begins//

 

/WHAT!!//

 

In an instant Yugi was awake. It only took him five minutes to get dressed. Luckily he always packed his backpack (including food) the evening before because else Yugi would always be late for school. He quickly grabbed some food and tried to stuff it in his mouth while he was running to school. Of course this failed and ended in Yugi practically choking on his banana. He entered the playground just as the bell rang.

 

“Hurry!” : he heard Ryu yell. Ryu was one of Yugi's classmates and friends and he had long white hair. He had a pointy chin and he too had a millennium item (a ring with a pyramid shape inside it and five diamond shaped pendants hanging on it) with a spirit in it. Opposite to Yami however this spirit, who was named Bakura, was not nice at all and it was only since very recently that he had begun to change. Bakura looked practically identical to Ryu except that his hair was spikier and stood out more. He now allowed Ryu the body during school and a very limited time after that. Bakura had the body at night since Ryu would be sleeping.

 

Together they raced to the classroom. Since they had the same schedules they both had to go too the same classroom. However it was this time that Bakura choose to come out in spirit form and Yami was immediately at Yugi's side. As soon as they saw each other they started having a discussion.

 

“Well, well if that isn't the almighty pharaoh” Bakura said.

 

“Shut it you baka tomb robber.” answered Yami.

 

“Oh if I'm that stupid then why am I still the king of thieves and why could you never catch me huh?”

 

However Yami couldn't answer because they reached the classroom. The teacher wasn't there yet so they got away with being a little late. After five minutes the teacher came in and the class started. It was history and Ryu and Yugi sat next to each other. (The others had different classes so they weren't there.) This hadn't always been the case because (if you haven't noticed) Yami and Bakura couldn't stand each other and Bakura had always been in control resulting in Ryu being absent a lot of times. Now that Ryu had control during school he sat next to Yugi much to the dismay of Bakura. It was there first hour and they got history and this month it would go about ancient Egypt (what a coincidence eh?). At first both Yami and Bakura stayed still however once Bakura made a remark about something the teacher said they started their argument again. It was quite funny for Yugi and Ryu to see because they saw their own spirits but not the one from the other. This made it look like the spirits where shouting at the air. After a while though, both Yugi and Ryu started getting annoyed. (Wouldn't you be?) During the half of the class they couldn't take it anymore.

 

“SHUT UP!!!” they both yelled.

 

Yami looked perplexed and Bakura looked VERY angry at Ryu who realised he had just yelled at BAKURA and cringed.(he was still scared although Bakura was loosening up he was still mean and Ryu was still scared of him) The class looked strange. First Ryu and Yugi had yelled against the air and now Ryu seemed afraid of something and Yugi seemed to apologise to the air. It took the two a while before they noticed that the class had been staring at them and after they realised it immediately dismissed them selves to the bathroom. Once they were there they talked to their spirits.

 

“Can't you two stop fighting for one minute?” asked Yugi.

 

“Yeah if we can get along then why can't you? At least for this hour.” Ryu said.

 

Both of them cringed as both their spirits started yelling at them. It was the first time they actually did something the same but Ryu and Yugi where smart enough to not point that out since they knew the spirits where pissed. After a lot of persuasion they managed to get them to stay quiet during classes. They were heading back for class when the bell rang and proceeded to go to math. During math Yugi asked if he could talk to Ryu and Bakura during lunch break. He agreed. The rest of the time until lunch was uneventful.

 

“Have you seen the news about the expedition last weekend? “ Yugi asked Ryu and Bakura.

 

“Yes.” Ryu answered.

 

It was lunch break and they sat at a table alone so they could talk in privet. Well as privet as you can get with two spirits partly listening as well at least for a little while. After that they had begun to argue again and didn't listen to their hikari's. (Right now they were arguing whose fault it was that it went wrong during history.)

 

“Than you must have seen that news item on that crazy professor and his babbling.” Yugi said.

 

“Yes, Bakura translated it for me after a lot of persuasion.” Ryu said. “I had to give him my pocket money and two cakes before he agreed and after that it took him two hours to translate it. His ancient Egyptian was nearly completely forgotten.”

 

“Really I never thought he had a sweet tooth? So what was it?” Yugi immediately asked.

 

Ryu told the words to Yugi and told him that Bakura also didn't have a clue who he meant. They hadn't noticed that the shouting of Yami and Bakura had stopped.

 

//Hahaha that baka tomb robber didn't know what it was//

 

/Well Yami neither did you remember?/

 

//Yeah but I don't know anything about the past anymore and he does, this proves he doesn't knows a much as he thinks he does.//

 

/So are you mad at me that I asked? /

 

//No aibou you asked not me, and you asked Ryu not that baka tomb robber so it's ok I guess//

 

After twenty minutes lunch break was over and they had to get back to class. Yugi decided that he would let the case rest. He invited Ryu to come over so they could make home work together, who happily accepted after asking Bakura if he could have the body a little longer today. Bakura didn't agree at first because Ryu told Yugi about his lacking skills in ancient Egyptian which made Ryu cringe since he was still afraid of him. The spirit didn't posses him the entire time anymore but was still scary to him. At that point Yami had appeared and threatened to send him to the shadow realm if he didn't agree. This had given Ryu till eight o'clock that evening. After the final bell rang they walked on their way to the game shop.

 

“I can't believe Bakura gave in so easily.” Yugi said.

 

“Me neither but he'll probably want something back after this.” Ryu said.

 

##Watch it hikari you're stepping out of bounds## was Bakura's answer.

 

#Gomen, gomen I didn't mean it#

 

Bakura inwardly laughed he loved it to see his hikari scared. He was also right he DID want something back, but Ryu didn't have to know. He could say that since Ryu was having the body longer today he could have it longer on another day. This could be a very good thing. He didn't admit it but he was scared of the pharaoh. Even if he didn't got all his powers Yami's shadow powers were still greater than his (he would never admit it though) so if he allowed this he could gain control longer and the pharaoh wouldn't be able to do a thing about it. He inwardly laughed luckily not being noticed by Ryu. Unknown to both the spirits and hikari's they were watched from a rooftop by a man with a cape and red glowing eyes.

 

“So there he is. I will have my revenge soon.” the man said.

 

After that he turned around and jumped of the roof on the other side of the building. He looked around the city for the next hour until he came upon a cemetery.

 

“Oh yeah I forgot that in this time they burry their dead in a casket in the ground instead of a tomb. That will only make my work easier. If I get the items they'll be helpless. Bwahahaha-ha!”

 

He then proceeded to take a medallion shaped like the head of Anubis from under his garment and mumbled a spell. Immediately the ground started moving and two corpses stood in front of him.

 

“Ah good, you'll do. :the man said. I want you to find me the item holders in this city and take the items. And don't come back until you do.”

 

With that the zombie's went on their mission to find Yugi and Ryu. It took them quite a while to find them (what do you expect they're actually dead so they can't think very well). It was already evening when they found the game shop. Ryu and Yugi just finished dinner. (Yugi had asked Ryu if he liked to stay for dinner). Yugi's grandfather was on an expedition in Greece and since Ryu was also alone they agreed that Ryu would stay with Yugi for a while. Bakura didn't agree and neither did Yami but they decided to shrug it off. Suddenly they heard the bell.

 

“Didn't you close the shop Yugi?”

 

“I did I wonder who it is.”

 

//Aibou I don't trust this let me take over// Yami said trough their mind link.

 

/It's ok Yami I can handle it./

 

“Shall we take a look?” Ryu asked.

 

“Ok let's go.” Yugi said.

 

When they entered the shop they saw two things that could not be alive. They looked like humans but they were pale and missed an eye or teeth. Their clothes were shredded and they stank like something dead. As soon as Ryu and Yugi saw that they yelled and fainted leaving their yami's in control. They blinked and saw each other.

 

“Tomb robber! This is probably al your fault!” Yami yelled.

 

“No it's not I can't help it your hikari can't stay awake for a day!”

 

“Oh he can you did something to him, just admit it!”

 

“I admit nothing I didn't do anything I tell you!”

 

“If it wasn't you then what was it?” Yami asked.

 

That's when they saw the zombies standing in front of them. They both yelled like girls and then agreed that this was something their hikari's couldn't find out at any cost. In the meantime a symbol in the shape of a dog's head had appeared on the forehead of the zombies. This reminded them of how Marik had spoken through the rare hunters and they quickly figured out that there was probably someone controlling them.

 

“Who are you?” they both asked.

 

“That's of no importance to you just know that I'm here to challenge you to a duel and if I win I get your items!” the left zombie said. “Well do you accept?”

 

“We do!” they answered, “but if we win you'll tell us who you are and you'll never come back. “

 

“Fine with me.“ the zombie said.

 

And so the duel began…
