Yugi lay in his bed staring at Yami who sat at the window staring out at the dark sky as the moon shown brightly through the window.
Yugi sighed as he turned over in his bed to face the other way. Yami was such an enigma to him. He had met him through the power of the millennium puzzle that he received on his birthday two years ago. It took him months to complete the puzzle and once he did complete it he got the greatest gift in the world, a friend and lover.
At first it shocked Yugi that someone, who looked almost identical to him, inhabited the puzzle, but over time weird stuff like that just seemed normal. His friends Malik and Ryou had been through the same thing only with their own items.
Ryou had the millennium ring and Malik had the millennium rod. Their items also held their look alikes within them. They had all thought it extremely strange at first, but grown to except it.
Yugi turned once again in his bed not being able to sleep. He sat up and laid his head against the headboard as he looked to Yami again.
The dark spirit had gained his memories of being a pharaoh in Egypt. Ever since he had been acting distance and quiet at times, always thinking about something.
`Or someone.' Yugi thought sadly to himself.
Yugi got out the bed and walked over to Yami. He sat in his lover's arms and rested his head upon his chest.
~What's the matter, Yami?~ Yugi asked through their link as not to disturb the silence of the room with talking.
Yami sighed as he wrapped his arms around his little light and brought him closer to him. Yami placed his chin upon Yugi's head and continued to look out the window.
~Nothing.~ he answered sadly.
Yugi closed his eyes, ~Yes there is. I can feel it. It's in your voice, mind, and heart. Please tell me.~
Yami laid his head on Yugi's, ~I don't know. I feel empty, like there's something I'm not remembering.~ he replied.
~Someone?~ Yugi asked.
Yami nodded. He felt as though he was missing someone in his life. The feeling was always stronger when they were all in a group and Satire, Isis, and Lavie was there. He felt as though there was to be someone hanging off his other arm as well, just like the other yamis.
~I feel as though I'm missing something, Yugi.~ he explained, ~don't get me wrong, though, I love you and you're all I'll ever need, but…~
~The feeling just won't go away.~ Yugi completed for him.
~Yeah.~ Yami confirmed.
Yugi turned around in Yami's arms to look into his eyes. He smiled as he brought Yami into a deep, passionate kiss. He pulled back and laid his head on Yami's shoulder.
"You'll find what you're heart seeks for, Yami, I know it." He whispered to him before he got up and headed back to the bed.
Yami smiled as he too got up and joined Yugi under the comforting warmth of the blanket. He grabbed Yugi by his waist and pulled him to him. He sighed contently as he began to think.
He had remembered most of his life in Egypt. Things like his father, mother, and childhood were clear to him; however, it seemed as though his memory as being Pharaoh didn't all come back to him. He remembered a lot, maybe even enough, but why did he still feel as though he was missing something.
Yami sighed again as he pushed all thoughts aside. He cuddled up to Yugi more and allowed sleep to rest his mind.

*A girl entered the room and smiled as she saw Yami out on the balcony. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him bringing her head to rest on his back.
Yami smiled and turned around staring into the face of his secret love. Her eyes were shadowed and he was unable to decipher her features. All he knew was that she was his. She looked back up at him and smiled. They stared at each other simply mesmerized by the moment.
Yami leaned toward the mysterious woman and captured her lips in a heated kiss. She kissed him back completely sucked into the moment. Their tongues found each other's and dueled in passionate battle.
They continued to kiss becoming more and more aroused by the moment. Yami finally coming to his senses pulled back and stared at the girl who was completely flushed.
They breathed heavily looking into the others eyes. The girl finally looked away blushing, "I'm sorry." She apologized.
Yami pulled her closer to his body as they stayed in each other's arms savoring the feel of the other's body.
Not being able to conceal his emotions anymore, Yami pulled her from his arms and brought her into another hungry kiss, this time not letting go.
She grabbed Yami's shoulders pulling him in toward the bedroom.
Yami pushed her against the wall dragging his hand down her thigh and bringing it back to go under her skirt. Oh how he wished he could see her face. Who was this beauty that was bringing so many emotions to heart.
The shadowed figure moved her hands wantonly around Yami's chest. She jumped onto Yami bringing her legs to wrap around his waist. She moved up and down on him bringing their most private places together causing more desire and heat.
Yami moved from her lips and trailed down to her neck, sucking on the sensitive skin while he bucked his hips causing her to slam into the wall more. She was breathing heavily in his ear driving his already sex hazed mind insane.
The thin figure ran her hands through Yami's hair as his hands untied the rope around her sarong revealing that she wore nothing underneath. She gasped as Yami's finger entered her. Her breaths became heavier as she dug her nails into his hair. She loved the way this felt.
"Yami." She breathed unable to form a complete sentence.
She moved her hands to the hem of his pants. She tugged on them letting them drop to the ground. She took his member into her hands and began to stroke him.
Yami moaned moving in and out of her hand stopping his ministrations and removing his finger.
She took his member and placed it at her entrance while she stared into Yami's eyes although he could not see hers. Who was she?
They both were breathing heavy and they both knew what the other wanted and would be more than happy to give it.
A smile played on the girl's lips as she brought Yami into a heated kiss and guided him into her.
"Master Yami!"*
~~
Yami woke with a start at the sound of his name. He turned to see Yugi staring at him curiously. He was breathing heavily. He wiped at his face as sweat dripped into his eyes.
"Yugi?" he asked after he'd gained his breath, "Did you call me `Master' Yami?"
Yugi shook his head soundlessly. He moved from the bed and walked over to his dresser. He picked up his brush and began brushing his hair.
Yami stood up and looked at Yugi questionable, "Is something the matter, Hikari?" he asked as he walked up to him.
"No." Yugi said sternly as he slammed his brush down and walked over to his closet.
Yami eyes widened, "Whoa, then what was that for?"
Yugi huffed angrily and turned to Yami, "What…excuse me…WHO were you dreaming about?"
Yami looked down sadly and shook his head, "Yugi please don't be mad, I don't know who she was, I couldn't even see her face. All I know was that it was in my past. It had to be."
Yugi sighed, "Are you sure…you know…that it's not someone…now?" he asked cautiously.
Yami smiled softly and shook his head, "You're the only one for me, Love."
Yugi smiled as he brought Yami into a kiss, "Sorry for over reacting."
Yami shook his head, "Understandable, trust me."
"I just…I don't know…this person who you've been thinking about…I feel as though they'll take my place…in your heart." Yugi explained slowly.
Yami shook his head holding Yugi tightly in his arms, "Never." He whispered into Yugi's ear before he started nibbling on it.
Yugi giggled as he tried to push Yami away.
"YAMI, YUGI, COME ON OR YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" they heard Yugi's grandpa yell from downstairs.
"ALRIGHT, GRANDPA!" Yugi responded as he got loose from Yami's grip and continued to get dress.
Yami smiled slightly. He went over to his dresser and sighed, `Who was she? It felt so real as if I'd lived it before. It was so…wonderful, the feeling she gave. I need to know more about her.' Yami thought to himself as he headed to the bathroom to get ready for school.
~~
"Hey, you guys it's Friday, what are we going to do after school?" Lavie asked as she walked with her friends down the hall.
Ryou laughed, "Think we could get to first period first, Vie?" he asked his girlfriend who simply shrugged.
"I'm not going, I hate first period." She said as she pushed her purple hair behind her ear.
Satire shook her head, "You're unbelievable."
Lavie looked at her, "Tire, I'm touched, thank you." she said with flattery.
Satire rolled her eyes.
They each broke up into their classes going down different halls deciding to meet by the apple tree during lunch.
In class Yami stared out the window thinking about his dream. The kids around him chatted about a new girl that was coming to the school. Yami partially listened. They said she was an exchange student from Egypt and was coming her till the end of the school year. They talked on how they bet she was going to be hot since Malik, Marik, Isis, and himself were all from Egypt and all very attractive.
Yami smirked slightly to himself. Usually he'd turn around and smooth talk the teens when they complimented him, which they did purposely loud, but today his mind was else where and he didn't feel like making the girls and some guys go weak in the knees.
Yugi tapped his desk gently. Yami turned and smiled at him. Yugi smiled back before turning in his seat when the teacher walked in.
"Good Mourning, Class." He spoke.
"Good Mourning, Sensi-Jatuso." Most of the class sounded, but not in unison.
The teacher sat on the edge of the desk and smiled, "I have a surprise for you today. I student from Egypt has come to join us here in Japan and see how we operate in our schools."
"Is she hot?" a student asked from the back.
A girl with dirty blonde hair turned to look at the boy, "Why does it have to be a girl, Javen?"
There was a wave of agreement from all the girls.
The teacher held up his hand, "Now, now, that question was inappropriate, but it is a girl."
The boy named Javen flicked the girl off. She huffed and turned back around in her seat.
The teacher cleared his throat giving the boy a warning glare, "I would like for you all to be on your best behavior and give her a good time. Let her be willing to come back, do you here?"
Everyone nodded and the teacher went to the door and left out to go retrieve the student.
Whispers started to rise from the room as everyone once again started to talk about the girl.
"There are a lot of hot girls in Egypt, right Yami?" one boy asked getting close to Yami's ear.
Yami smiled politely and shrugged, "Well, I haven't been there for a while, but you did see Isis, right?"
The other boys laughed and agreed. Isis was beautiful with her perfect tan and long mid-back forest green hair and playful green eyes. The type of girl both envied and hated by girls.
Everyone grew silent as the door opened. The teacher stepped in followed by a girl. Her head was bowed and her hands held tightly to her books.
She stood in front of the class and looked up. She was pretty. She wasn't great but she wasn't bad. All and all, not at all what they expected in her features. She wore square rimmed glasses that concealed her golden eyes. She wore a long green and blue plaid skirt that stopped at mid-leg below her knee and high socks that showed off very little of her tanned skin. Her white top was fitting but loose, it showed that she had a nice shaped body. She wore a green vest that matched that of her skirt and a matching blue bow rested on the vest near her neck. Her orange hair lay in a messy up ponytail in a form you could hardly call a bun. Small pieces of hair stuck up from her hair and her `bun' fell limply to the side.
The boys groaned, not at all what they expected.
Joey laughed as he leaned over to Yugi, "I'm glad I've got Satire and didn't get my hopes up for her. Kind of a disappointment, huh?"
Yugi shrugged, "I don't know, I don't think she's that bad."
Joey shrugged as he sat back up in his seat.
Yugi turned to Yami who was looking at the girl intensely studying her. Upon feeling someone watching him, Yami turned to Yugi and smiled. Yugi smiled weakly and turned back to the front. He knew Yami was smiling to keep him from worrying about him, but the smiles only made him worry more.
"Why don't you tell us about yourself?" The teacher told the girl.
She nodded, as she looked to the ground and tightened her grip on her books. She wasn't a shy girl; she was just a little scared at being in a new school and in another country.
"My name is Zaire and…" she began to say but realized she was speaking in her language.
Yami sat up, becoming interested in the girl, `She knows the language of the ancient tongue.' Yami thought curiously. Not even Isis and Malik new that language. They just knew regular Egyptian.
The girl cleared her throat, "Excuse me." She said in Japanese, "Sorry, what I was saying was my name is Zaire and I am from Egypt. I…have studied Japan history for a while and have become greatly interested in it. That is why I had decided to come and study in your schools for a while." Her voice was musical, a great melody. It seemed as though the world's problems could be lifted with a single word from the girl's mouth just because of the peace it held.
A girl raised her hands.
Zaire smiled, "Yes?"
The girl stood up, "My name is Meshai, I was wondering what type of activities you enjoy in Egypt. Do you go into pyramids?"
Zaire nodded, "Yes, my father and I always do that for fun. I love reading the many stories about the pharaohs and mythologies about the gods that are written on the wall. My activities are of a variety. I love to sing, dance, write, read…art, I love art."
A boy raised his hand and stood getting a nod from Zaire, "Do you ever see dead bodies when you go into the pyramids?"
Zaire laughed softly, also a very sweet sound, "Yes, actually. I see the bodies of the delinquents. They were honored for there `work' if they were great at it, but they were still criminals therefore they did not receive caskets or coffins."
The class began to talk about how cool that was. Zaire looked around the room, studying the faces of her new classmates. Her eyes met those of crimson. The boy stared at her and she stared back. He smiled slightly and raised his hand.
The class grew silent at the fact that Yami would speak. Zaire nodded, "Yes?"
Yami stood and stared at her and smirked, "For you to be so fluent in the ancient language of Egypt, I must know where you lived?" He asked in the Egyptian tongue.
Zaire smiled brightly at the fact that someone could speak her language. She responded to his question in the same tongue, "I live in Cairo."
"Upper or lower?"
"Upper."
"They still speak this language, there?"
Zaire nodded, "Yes…well my village does because most of our learning material are from the sheets left behind from the scribe writers before us. In order to read those, you must know the language."
Yami nodded and smiled, "I think I made a new friend." He said to her as he sat down.
Zaire smiled slightly and looked down, "I'm thankful for that." She said.
The students were quiet looking from Zaire to Yami wondering what had just happened.
The teacher clapped his hands together getting everyone's attention, "Well, that was interesting. Zaire you can take a seat behind Khia. Please raise your hand Khia."
Khia raised her hand and Zaire walked to her seat and sat down. She looked up and smiled at Yami who was watching her.
"All right, lets get started on today's lesson."
The room sounded with groans. Zaire laughed, `Just like home.'
~~
"Did you see the new girl?" Isis asked.
Joey nodded, "Yeah, she's in one of my classes. Not much."
Satire hit him on his head, "That's not nice."
Joey rubbed his head, "Wha? Ya wan' me to say she's hot, then I'll get hit fo that, not to mention I'd be lyin'."
Satire hit him again, "Quit, Joseph, she's a very sweet girl."
"Pup, since when did you put a girl down about her looks?" Seto asked.
Joey shrugged; "I was jus' sayin'-" he stopped when he saw Satire looking at him.
"I for one think she needs to hang with me and I'll have the boys all over her in no time." Lavie said as she lay between Bakura's legs.
Bakura smirked as he caressed her hair, "Leave her alone before you make her turn out like you."
Lavie frowned, "What's that suppose to mean?"
"It means she'd turn into a whorish-bitch with no morals or self values." Marik said to her.
"Shut the fuck up, Asshole!" she shouted at him.
Malik smiled at Marik, "Not to mention ridiculously loud."
Lavie crossed her arms and pouted, "Ryou-baby, are you going to let them treat me like this?"
Ryou laughed as he lay on his girlfriend's stomach, "Lay off, guys." He said to Malik and Marik as he through a pinecone at them hitting Marik on the head.
"Ouch, that really hurt, Ryou." Marik said as he rubbed his head.
The other's laughed.
"Big bad Marik taken down by a pine cone." Yami mocked.
Marik fumed, "Do you see these thorns?"
They all broke out in a fit of laughter again.
The sound of crushing grass drew their attention to the girl standing above them.
Yugi smiled politely at the girl, "Hi, Zaire, are you having a good first day so far?" he ask always friendly.
She shrugged, "So far." She smiled, "Could I?" she asked gesturing toward an empty spot in there `circle'.
"Sure."
Zaire sat down upon her legs and stared at the group as they stared at her. She slouched uncomfortably under the intense gaze of each person.
Yami cleared his throat, "Have you met everyone?"
Zaire shook her head, "I know you, Yugi, and, Joey, and I've seen them in one of my classes." She said pointing to Seto and Satire.
"Well," Yami said pointing to Seto, "This is Seto and Satire, the girl next to you is Isis and the boys are Malik and Marik. The girl with purple hair is Lavie and the nice looking boy is Ryou and the mean looking one is Bakura."
"What do you mean `mean looking'?" Bakura growled.
Ryou giggled, "I think you just answered that yourself."
Bakura huffed and continued to play in Lavie's hair.
Zaire looked at the golden item that shined around the boy's neck; she turned to Yami and saw another around his and also one next to the blondes.
"Where did you get your millennium item?" she asked Yami in the Egyptian language getting the other yamis' attention.
"This?" he asked in the same language while holding the puzzle.
She nodded, "And there's as well." She said looking toward Marik's rod.
"Um…" Yami hesitated looking to the other yamis who simply looked at the girl.
Marik grunted, "Egypt." He stated smugly.
"Right." Zaire stated leaving the answer at that.
"Where'd you learn that language?" he asked her.
"Egypt." She repeated his answer just as smugly.
Yami and Bakura began to laugh. The rest of the group looked at each other and shrugged none of them being able to understand the conversation and Malik and Isis not being able to understand all the conversation.
Marik glared at her and Zaire glared back. Marik smirked; he was going to enjoy conversing with her.
"Are you here alone?" Satire asked her.
Zaire turned to her and nodded.
"Where are you staying?"
"A hotel. Beau Entourage Hotel, I believe it was." She answered.
Joey whistled, "Pretty fancy name, sounds expensive."
Zaire smiled, "It was pretty pricey, but beautiful as it's name says."
Satire perked up at this, "You speak French?"
Zaire nodded, "Oui, je parle français." <Yes, I speak French.>
Satire smiled, "J'adore français. C'est la langue de l'amour." <I love French. It is the language of love.> She said as she put her hand to her chest.
"Oui, je conviens. Comment vous le savez?" <Yes, I agree. How do you know it?> she asked curiously.
"Mon père est français." <My father is French.>
"Oh, et votre maman est japonaise?" <Oh, and your mother is Japanese?>
Satire nodded, "Oui." <Yes.>
Zaire smiled, "Très frais." <Very cool.>
"Vous parlez toutes les autres langues." <You speak any other languages?>
Zaire nodded, "Oui, je parle un peu d'anglais, Indien, Japonais naturellement, et mexicain-espagnol." <Yes, I speak a bit of English, Indian, Japanese of course, and Mexican-Spanish.>
"Mexicain-espagnol, vraiment?" <Mexican-Spanish, really?> Satire asked with surprise.
"Oui, pourquoi?" <Yes, why?>
"Lavie parle Mexicain-espaganol." <Lavie speaks Mexican-Spanish.>
"Vraiment?" <Really?> Zaire asked turning to Lavie.
Lavie looked at her, "What?" she asked slightly confused at hearing her name said in their conversation.
"Usted habla mexicano-español?" <You speak Mexican-Spanish?> Zaire asked as she smiled.
"Damn she's talented." Joey said.
"That's the only thing I've understood so far." Malik said.
Lavie nodded, "Sí, hablo mexicano-español. Viví en México para una buena cantidad de mi vida." <Yes, I speak Mexican-Spanish. I lived in Mexico a good amount of my life.>
"Fresco, voy allí a veces también." <Cool, I go there sometimes.>
Lavie laughed slightly, "¿Realmente? Su papá debe ser muy rico."<Really? Your father must be rich.>
Zaire shrugged, "Clase de."<Kind of.>
Lavie huffed, "Clase de mi asno, usted tiene dinero y usted lo sabe." <Kind of my ass, you've got money and you know it.>
Zaire laughed. Just then the bell rang. They all got up and headed toward the school. Yami walked up to Zaire and smiled at her.
"What?" she asked.
Yami shook his head; "You have anymore surprises?" he asked jokingly.
Zaire smiled, "You'll just have to find out I guess."
Yami's smile widened, "I will, don't worry, I intend on getting to know you better." He said before he walked up more to catch up with Yugi.
Zaire blushed; her face was burning red. She smiled and headed toward her 5th period class.
~~
Yami watched Yugi as he worked diligently on his homework. Yami sighed as he placed his pencil down and walked to the other side of the table and wrapped his aibou in his arms, "Yugi what's the matter? Why aren't you talking to me?"
Yugi shook his head, "I just have a lot of work to do."
Yami looked at him and frowned, "This never stopped us before. By now we would be on the table having our forth orgasm. Please tell me, what's wrong?"
Yugi sighed as he placed his pencil down, "You were so interested in that girl."
"She intrigued me." He explained.
"She was on your mind all day. You were so focus on her you didn't even realize you were sending your thoughts through the link."
Yami frowned, "I'm sorry. She's just so…I don't know…different."
Yugi looked down sadly, "You…you started putting her face onto the shadowed face of the girl you dreamed about last night. That's what upset me. I too was drawn in by her uniqueness, but…"
Yami sighed and hugged Yugi tighter.
"I just thought you forgot about that, Yami. I mean it is pretty tempting when all our friends have two people to love to want to find someone as well, but…I thought we were all we needed and what if you do find out who this girl you've been dreaming about is and she was like your lost love…what would happen to our relationship?" Yugi looked up to Yami with tears in his eyes, "I don't want to lose you, Yami, I love you."
Yami felt his heart ache at Yugi's pain, "I'm so sorry chibi ichi, I never meant to hurt you. I'll forget about her, O.K? You're all I need anyway. I love you." he said as he brought Yugi into a breathtaking kiss.
Yugi smiled when they parted, "I'm not saying you can't be friends with Zaire."
Yami smiled, "Thank you, because she's really interesting. I want to know how much things have changed back home and why her people still insist on knowing that language instead of the new language."
Yugi nodded, "That'll be fun for you."
Yami laughed, "Yeah."
Yami went back over to start on his homework as Yugi continued to complete his.
Yugi sighed as he looked at Yami, `I want you to be happy. I just wish I were enough.' He thought to himself as he started to work again.
