Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Return To Hades ❯ Faith ( Chapter 33 )
I posted the past story of how Aria and Aten stood up to Yami in Ancient Egypt. It's called "Sins Of The Pharaoh."
Broken Time: Yugi's boyfriend is an OC. Well, let's see how long he sticks around.
Jasmine and her gang: A lemon between Yugi and his new boyfriend? Hmm….well, in the next story maybe. I can work it into the story if you want….that is, before I do what I plan…*evil grin*
YoukoMia: I couldn't pass up the chance of Robbie being tortured by the girls.
Kura Magician Girl: *hands Aten and Robbie plushies* I got plans alright….*evil grin*
Anubiset: yeah, sure….squish away.
Beysie: Aten's past will haunt him in the next story as he becomes more intimate with Robbie on a regular basis, but there will be times when he can make love to Robbie…and times when he can't.
Crazy Kins: Robbie will be there for Aten in the next story. He'll be able to help Aten along.
Mariku 182: Well, as far as Aria is concerned, she is just getting into teenage girl things like makeup and hair. I was never into those things, though. But in the next story, she does tend to get more rebellious. Asher..I haven't had a chance to bring him in. Trevor's daughter had to go live with her grandmother. Tristan and Otogi show up here. They've just been around. Anzu can't die. December 16? That shouldn't be a problem. I am planning a Aria x Umi lemon. Maybe I can make it posted when I post around that date.
Shadow of Light: No, the boyfriend is not Yami in disguise.
Lady Elfskye: *hands chibi plushies* Gifts for you!
I is Me: Go ahead and write that Mokuba x Donny story if you really want. You may want to mention that you have my permission in your disclaimer if you are going to post it.
Sakiyama: *covers mouth* I have stuff planned now….whether I go through with it is another question.
Tari Helyanwe: I have plans for Hayden later. Hayden won't get better. He won't curse as much in the sequel, though.
Faith
Miranda sat next to Marik in the church. Marik had never entered a church. He was amazed at the mural of angels painted on the wall. Bakura's eyes were caught by the gold and silver candlesticks on the altar.
He grinned evilly and was promptly hit on the back of the head by his hikari.
"Yami, this is a church! No robbery!"
"But, Ryou, those candlesticks are worth tons!"
Ryou shook his head. "Behave, 'Kura, or I'll put you in the Ring."
Bakura pouted and crossed his arms.
Aten walked into the church with his violin. Robbie walked beside him.
"Good luck, Aten," Ryou said giving his son a kiss.
"Make me proud, Aten," Marik said kissing both of his son's cheeks.
Aria pat him on the back. "I know you'll be great, Aten! Good luck, Robbie!"
Robbie took Aten to the choir room where they changed into their outfits. Robbie wore his choir boy outfit. Aten had been allowed to wear his own ceremonial outfit for the church. It was a plain white robe adorned with purple satin. Marik had stitched Egyptian hieroglyphics along the purple boarder. Aten wore his gold Ankh necklace.
"How do I look, Robbie?"
Robbie's jaw dropped as he looked at his friend dressed in white, purple, and gold. "You look…like an angel!"
Aten blushed. "Thank you!"
Mrs. Jenkins came over to them. "Hello, boys! Robbie, are you singing today for us?"
Robbie nodded. "I'm singing 'Silent Night.' Aten's playing along with me and he's also playing 'It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.'"
Mrs. Jenkins pulled out two pieces of candy. "This is for both of you."
"Does this have sugar?" Aten asked.
"I gave you a sugar-free one, Aten. I know you can't take sugar."
Aten smiled and hugged the old woman. "Shukran. Thank you."
"You're welcome, boys."
Aten prepared his violin. He rosined the bow and tuned his instrument.
Aten turned to Robbie. "You know, I've known you for nine years and I still don't understand this holiday."
Robbie laughed. "Okay…what don't you understand?"
"Everything."
Robbie told Aten about his faith and Aten scratched his head.
"Well, I understand very little. But I do understand how he could die and come back to life. Both of my daddies are dead, so I can kinda understand that."
"Robert Morgan, Aten Ishtar?"
Aten grabbed his violin and ran out of the choir dressing room with Robbie.
Vidello looked down at the boys. "Aten, you cannot wear your necklace."
Aten looked at his Ankh. "This is the Ankh. It is the Egyptian symbol of Life."
"Take my cross," Vidello said as he put it around Aten's neck.
Aten removed it. "I'm not Christian. I'm Egyptian. This is who I am. I'm not going to pretend to be someone I'm not."
"But, this is Christmas. You can't wear your necklace here. Tuck it under your….robe."
Aten stamped his foot. "I am Egyptian. I am pagan! I don't tell Robbie he can't wear his cross around his neck! It's not fair!"
"This is not a place of pagan worship, Aten."
Aten narrowed his eyes and stuck his Ankh underneath his robe.
He growled as he watched Vidello leave.
During the Service, Robbie and Aten sat together with the choir. When it was time for their duet, Robbie and Aten stood in front of the congregation.
Robbie started to sing and the place went quiet.
//Malik, Aten isn't wearing his Ankh!//
/Oh my! I wonder why./
Miranda smiled as she watched her son sing. Ryou wiped his eye as he heard Aten's flawless playing. They looked so happy up there together. Aten closed his eyes as he played his violin. A small tear crept down his face at Robbie's beautiful voice. The congregation wiped their eyes at the music and melody.
When it was time for Aten's solo, he stepped in front of the congregation again.
He looked down at his chest, the Ankh underneath his robe.
'This is silly! I shouldn't hide who I am!'
"Everyone, before I begin playing, there is something I want to say. First of all, I want to say that I really enjoy playing my violin here. You have all been so good. You have all enjoyed my music and it's really appreciated. However, I am not going to hide who I am."
Aten removed his Ankh necklace from underneath his robe. "I am Egyptian. I was born Egyptian! I'm going to die Egyptian! I absolutely refuse to hide my Ankh necklace, despite what Vidello says!"
Marik growled. //Vidello made Aten hide his necklace?!//
/Down, yami, don't make a scene./
"Robbie is my best friend and I never ask him to hide who he is! I'm going to play 'It Came Upon a Mid…Mid..Midnight Clear,' but I am going to play it as who I really am, and not what someone else thinks I should be! I'm not going to hide my faith and I don't ask anyone else to hide who they are. I don't care who you worship. Everyone should be able to be who they are."
Ryou smiled. "That's my angel!"
Bakura turned to Ryou. "What's going on?"
"Yami, stop trying to mentally steal those candlesticks!"
"Once a thief, always a thief, Ryou," Bakura grinned.
Ryou shook his head.
Aten took the Ankh and kissed it. "I'm Egyptian and I'm proud of who and what I am! I celebrate Egyptian holidays and I worship the gods and goddesses of Egypt. This Ankh is the symbol of Life and life in the underworld. After all, this is what we are celebrating tonight, right? Life?"
Ryou smiled. "I'm so proud of him!"
"I'm sorry, sir," Aten said turning to Vidello. "I'm wearing the symbol of my faith and my religion."
Aten began playing his song and the congregation continued to become teary-eyed. Robbie watched Aten play. He watched Aten's body and his arm move with the motions of the bow. Robbie wiped his eyes, wondering how many more Christmases Aten would be here to play his violin.
Marik watched his son play and took Malik's hand. //I'm so proud of my son, Malik! Look at him up there…..my angel boy.//
Malik looked over and saw Marik shedding a single tear at Aten's playing. /It's beautiful music, isn't it?/
Miranda looked over and took Marik's other hand. "He plays wonderfully, Marik."
"He's been practicing so hard. Ra, bless him."
When Aten finished his solo, the congregation went silent. A moment of silence followed.
Aten looked around at the sea of faces looking at him.
A few claps sounded in the congregation.
Then more.
Soon, the entire congregation was clapping loudly at Aten's performance.
Aten smiled and bowed before the congregation and the choir. He looked down at his Ankh and kissed it.
Vidello watched the sea of smiling faces pointed towards Aten.
Robbie clapped and whistled at Aten. 'That's my Aten!'
After the Service, Robbie and Aten removed their robes in the choir room.
"Aten, you were so great!" Robbie bounced excitedly.
Mrs. Jenkins gave the boys two more pieces of candy.
"I'll wait for you outside, Aten."
Aten wiped down his violin as the rest of the choir filed out of the room. When the last person left, Vidello entered the room.
Vidello walked up to Aten. "Aten, your playing was very good tonight."
Aten put his violin back in its case. "Thank you. I'm sorry, Mr. Vidello, but I am Egyptian. Robbie accepts me for who I am." Aten locked his case. "I wonder why it is so hard for people to accept other people for who they are on the inside rather than the outside." Aten picked up his violin case. "I never said anything about your faith, Mr. Vidello. The least you could do is accept me." Aten shrugged. "But, seeing as you appear unwilling to do so, it is out of my hands."
Vidello put his hand against the doorway, blocking Aten's exit.
"Let me out of here, Mr. Vidello."
"I hear you live with four gay men. I've heard the people talking, Aten."
Aten shrugged. "My fathers are gay. So what? They take care of me. They love me."
"I'm sure they do."
Aten backed away. "What do you want?"
"I don't think it's a good idea for you to play here anymore, Aten."
"And why not? I like playing here. Is it because I believe in something else? Is it because I live with four gay men? What is it exactly that you are saying?"
"Aten?"
"FATHER!"
Marik stepped in the doorway and saw Vidello blocking Aten's exit out of the choir room. The blond yami took the sharp end of the Millennium Rod and pointed it at Vidello's back.
"Let my son out."
Vidello stepped aside. Marik snarled and grabbed Vidello by the collar. Marik slammed the man into the wall face first. "How dare you forbid my son to wear his Ankh! That is a statement of who he is and where he comes from."
Marik's blond hair spiked and twitched in frustration. "I can sense who you are….and if you ever come near my son again, I can tell you where you are going to go. Down. To. Hell. I will take you there….personally."
Vidello's face turned white. "Y-Y-Yes, sir."
Marik shoved the priest against the furthest wall.
"Great job tonight, son," Marik smiled down at his son.
Aten held onto Marik's cloak as he left. "Father, do you think I did the right thing?"
Marik kneeled down to his son's level. "Aten, you are my boy. You are my son. I want you to be proud of who you are….and your heritage. You are an Ishtar. Aten Bakari, you are the heir to a great legacy. And I never want you to be ashamed of that legacy or your heritage. It's as special as you are."
Aten hugged his father. "Thank you."
"Now come on, moneybags has those Christmas cookies waiting for us. Come on!"
Marik and Aten left the church and found Malik waiting outside. "Robbie and Miranda went to the graveyard."
Marik and Aten turned their heads to see Miranda and Robbie kneeling in front of a gravestone. One of the lights of the church shined down on them.
Ryou stood behind Miranda.
Aten walked towards Robbie and his mother, his hair flying in the night air. Aten stood behind Robbie.
"Hello, Angel. Hello, Christa. It's nice to see you again," Robbie said to the stone.
Ryou looked down at his son and put his arm around the boy.
Miranda put a flower on her children's grave. "You should have seen your brother sing tonight, kids. You would have been so proud of him."
"They watched," Aten said quietly. "I know they would be proud of you, Robbie."
Aria walked beside Ryou. The mother put his other arm around his daughter.
Miranda brushed the dirt covering the names of the children. "Merry Christmas, Angel. Merry Christmas, Christa." Miranda put two tiny stuffed animals beside the tombstone.
"You two be good for mommy. We have to go now."
Robbie stood up and hugged the stone. "Goodbye, Angel. Goodbye, Christa. See you both later!"
Ryou looked down at Aten watching the stone intently. Something on the stone had caught Aten's attention.
Ryou held Aten closer, questioning to himself if this was Aten's last Christmas. The boy looked up at his mother. He gave Ryou a tiny smile and wrapped his arms around Ryou's waist.
"I love you, mother."
Ryou stroked his son's hair. "So do I, my angel."
Robbie grabbed Aten's hand. "Let's go, Aten! Christmas cookies at Kaiba's place!"
Aria stood beside Miranda. "Are you okay, Mrs. Morgan?"
"I'm fine, Aria," Miranda said with a sigh. "It isn't Christmas if I don't visit the kids."
Miranda stood up. "Goodnight, my angels. Sleep well. I love both of you. Goodbye."
Miranda walked away from the grave pulling her jacket around her. Marik saw her shivering and removed his jacket. He wrapped it around her.
"Marik, I don't want you to get sick."
"Oh, please, Miranda. I can't die of pneumonia or anything."
Marik wrapped the jacket around her and saw her glassy eyes. He wiped her eyes dry.
"No tears, Miranda. Tonight is not about tears. Okay?"
Miranda nodded. "I know, Marik. It's just….."
The Egyptian yami wrapped his arms around her and held her. People shot him dirty looks. He returned their looks with a vicious snarl. Miranda rested her head on Marik's shoulder and let out a sigh.
Marik closed his eyes and hugged her tightly, protecting her from the cold with his body.
From the woman in his arms, he felt a familiar presence. It was a familiar spirit that he had known in his past.
"Amunet……I knew it was you."
Miranda cuddled closer to Marik. "Thank you for holding me, Marik. I….I needed this."
"I know you did. Why do you think I did this?"
"Because you like the idea of me being pressed up against you?"
Marik snickered. "Well, there is that. It certainly has it's…advantage."
Miranda shifted. "I can feel your advantage now. Is that a candy cane in your pocket or are you enjoying this a little too much?"
Marik pulled back. "You don't quit, do you?"
"Mmmm…not really. I'm just as bad when Daniel's around."
"That poor, hot, sexy man."
Miranda snickered as she passed Marik. "Well, Marik, he thinks you're an odd guy, but nice. He doesn't want to throw you down, though."
Marik shrugged. "It's okay. I got three other people who do that to me anyway. If I get involved with one more person who just wants to throw me down and have hot wild lovemaking, I'll never get anything done."
Aten and Robbie called from the car.
"Come on, mom! Cookies!" Robbie called.
"Come on, father! Sugar-free cookies!" Aten squealed excitedly.
"Coming, son!" Marik called as he ran to the car and jumped into the passenger side.
*******************************
Ryou and the family arrived at KaibaCorp to spend the night. Hayden was wandering the halls with the familiar eye twitch.
Jeanie was sitting on the couch, her belly large.
Miranda walked up to her and gave her a hug. "Jeanie, you look so great!"
Jeanie rubbed her belly. "I'm as big as a house!"
Robbie ran up to her. "Wow! You're really big now!"
"Robbie!"
"Sorry, mom. Hey, little babies! Are you ready to come out yet?"
Jeanie laughed. The doctor said any day, Robbie."
Robbie bounced up and down. "I love babies! I want to have a family someday."
Aten touched her belly. "I can feel them move!"
Jaimen bounced up and down excitedly. "I'm going to be a cousin! I really hope Uncle Mokuba has a boy."
Aria put her ear to Jeanie's stomach. "Jeanie, are you going to have a girl? It's hard being the only girl."
Jeanie laughed. "Well, the doctor did tell me one of them was a girl, Aria."
Aria squealed. "YEAH! ANOTHER GIRL! We can do girl stuff and leave the boys stuff to the boys."
Aten looked at his sister. "Nothing's wrong with being a boy."
"That's because we're surrounded by boys, Aten. Boys and guys. That's it. I'm the only girl and I tell you, it's not easy going through your period and you have no girl to talk to about it."
Aten and Robbie exchanged confused glances. "Period?"
"You don't want to know, Aten. Trust me."
Aten looked around. "Where is Aiden?"
Robbie looked around. "I don't know."
Aten left the room and looked down both ends of the hall. "Aiden?"
The halls were empty.
Aten heard a sound in the art studio and they walked towards the end of the hallway.
They opened up the door and turned on the light in the dark room. "Hello? Aiden?"
"Hayden?" Robbie asked.
They walked inside and Robbie looked in the archway. "Hey, Aten! Mistletoe!"
Aten looked at his feet. "What about my toes?"
Robbie laughed. "No, silly! Mistletoe! Look up!"
Aten looked up and saw the mistletoe hanging in the archway. "How'd that plant get up there?"
Robbie took Aten in his arms. "This is what you do under the mistletoe."
Robbie pressed his lips to Aten's. Robbie allowed Aten to slip his tongue between his lips. The two boys caressed each other until they were both tackled to the ground.
Hayden straddled Aten's hips. "Don't you rape him!"
Aten gasped as he was pinned under Hayden. "Aiden, what are you talking about?"
"You were going to rape him, weren't you?!"
"No! Aiden, get off of me!"
Robbie threw himself at Hayden and slapped the red-haired boy. "Get off of Aten!"
Robbie pulled Hayden off. The red-haired boy elbowed Robbie in the side.
Robbie fell over and Hayden jumped to his feet. He kicked Robbie in the side and slammed his foot on Robbie's bad ankle.
"OW! THAT'S MY BAD FOOT!"
Aten tackled Hayden and staddled Hayden's hips. "Stop this now! Aiden, Robbie and I weren't hurting each other!"
"You were kissing another boy! That's fucking disgusting!"
Robbie gasped. "Hayden, this is Christmas Eve! You can't curse!"
Hayden bucked his hips up and made Aten fall forward into a fist. Aten rolled over on his side and held his cheek.
Robbie staggered to his feet and stepped on the foot. He let out a scream and crumbled to the floor holding his foot.
Two sets of footsteps came running.
"Hayden? Aten? Robbie? What are you three doing in the studio?" Joey asked as he went to Aten on the floor.
Seto went to Hayden. "Hayden, come join the family in the Library."
Hayden left the studio grumbling.
Seto kneeled beside Robbie. "Can you stand up?"
"It hurts."
Seto removed Robbie's foot carefully from his shoe. He removed the sock off of the clubbed, twisted foot. "It's not broken, Robbie, but some ice wouldn't hurt." Seto helped the boy to his feet.
Joey helped Aten to his feet and took him to the Library.
"Aten? Robbie? What happened to you?"
"I beat them up for being faggy," Hayden grumbled.
Bakura and Marik growled viciously. Their hikaris grabbed the back of their husbands' shirt to prevent them from slaughtering Hayden.
Joey went to get ice packs for the boys.
Seto handed out one present to each person. "There's one more person. Yugi."
Tristan and Otogi sat together on the couch. Otogi sipped his tea and chewed on a cookie. "I sure hope he comes soon! I can't wait to see if I got those new mittens I was looking for!"
Bakura raised an eyebrow. "One of these days, Ryuugi, I'm going to have to check you for breasts."
Tristan grinned. "Don't worry, I already did that today. Trust me. He doesn't have them."
Otogi pouted. "If I did, it would be more of a shock to me than you, Tris."
Marik shoved a cookie into his mouth. "Not really, Otogi. I still have a bet with Bakura that I can find a vagina on you somewhere."
Otogi stuck his tongue out at Bakura. "Nuts to you!"
Bakura snickered. "No, thank you. I've got two of my own."
Ryou slapped Bakura on the back of the head again. "Yami, the children are present!"
Donny called up from the security desk. [Yugi is here, sir, and he brought a guest.]
"Okay, Don. Let them up. Tell me it's not Yami."
Aten tensed when Seto said the name of his abductor.
[No, sir.]
"Good. Send them up. Yugi is here."
Aten shifted closer to Robbie. Marik watched his son tremble.
"It's okay, son," Marik said as he put his hand on Aten's shoulder.
Yugi walked in and Hayden let out a screech. "DOMINIC!"
Hayden lunged for Yugi, but Seto caught him. "YOU ASSHOLE!"
Yugi's eyes widened and he backed away. Seto and Bakura held Hayden back, but the teen was strong and determined to get to Yugi.
"Bakura…help me take Hayden…to….his room."
The two men struggled with Hayden when they saw a man standing in the hallway.
"We'll be back," Seto said to the man.
Bakura and Seto struggled down the hallway with Hayden screaming that Dominic had returned and was here to rape him again. Hayden's screams alternated between insults and screams of fear and pain.
Seto tried to talk to Hayden, but the teen was becoming violent. The CEO put Hayden in his room and made sure the lock was tight.
Bakura and Seto returned to the room where Yugi's guest was holding him and where Joey had returned with ice packs for the boys.
"Yugi, who is this?"
"Everyone, this is Glenn. He's my new friend. He helps at the Game Shop."
Glenn was around twenty five years old. His eyes were a deep forest green. His hair was short and black. His clean-shaven face made him seem younger than he was.
"Nice to see you all," Glenn said with a smile.
Yugi took him to Seto. "This is Seto Kaiba."
Glenn shook Seto's hand. "It's a real honor to meet you, Seto Kaiba! I've heard so much about you!"
"It's…nice to meet you, Glenn."
Yugi showed him to Joey. "This is my best friend, Joey. Seto and Joey are planning on getting married soon."
"Oh, really? That's cool. Best wishes, Joe."
Joey snickered. "Just call me 'Joey.' Nice to meet you, Glenn."
Marik laughed. "We call him 'puppy,' too."
"Glenn, this is Marik Ishtar."
Marik's hair spiked and his hair twitched. "Hello, Marik Jibade Ishtar, Yami of Madness and Insanity. Controller of the Elements of Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth."
"So, were you the one that made it rain for two weeks straight?"
Marik nodded. "Long story."
Yugi laughed. "This is his husband, Malik Ramses Ishtar."
Malik smiled at the young man. "Hello."
"You two aren't…from around here…are you?"
"No. Our family is from Egypt."
Glenn gasped. "Wow! That is so awesome! You don't see many Egyptians in Domino."
"Well, that's true," Malik agreed.
"This is Ryou Bakura. We went to High School and through the Duelist Kingdom Tournament. BattleCity, too."
Ryou smiled as he shook his hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Hey, a Brit! Wow! We have someone from everywhere here, don't we?"
"My father came over to the States when I was young."
Glenn smiled. "I went to England in college. I visited there for a week. It is a beautiful country!"
"I know. I want to take my son and daughter there someday."
"You have kids?"
Ryou smiled proudly and nodded. Aria stepped by her mother's side. "This is Aria Kanika Itemri. She's the daughter of Bakura and I."
"Hello. Do you have any candy on you?"
Seto sighed. "Don't give this one M&M's. They'll disappear. And she'll take all the red ones."
"Sorry, kiddo, I don't have candy on me."
Aria pouted. "Okay." She shoved a cookie into her mouth instead.
"This is my son Aten Bakari Ishtar. He's the child of Marik and I."
Glenn's eyes widened. "Malik, did you adopt a kid with Ryou?"
Ryou shook his head. "I didn't adopt them. I had them. Long story."
"This is Bakura Itemri," Yugi continued.
Bakura shook Glenn's hand. "Bakura Osiris Itemri, Yami of Death and Destruction. King of Thieves and Shadow Magic."
"Black Magic?"
Bakura shook his head. "No, not black magic."
Yugi took Glenn over to see Jeanie and Mokuba. "This is Seto's little brother and his fiancée, Jeanie."
"Nice to meet you."
"Hello," Mokuba and Jeanie said.
Jaimen ran up to the man. "I'm Jaimen Kaiba! Nice to meet you, mister!"
"The name's Glenn, Jaimen. You don't have to call me 'mister.'"
Jaimen pointed to Seto. "He's my father."
"Yes, Jaimen, he can tell," Seto said.
Robbie waved to Glenn. "I'm Robbie Allen Morgan. My mother is Miranda…over there."
Glenn shook the woman's hand. "Nice to meet you both."
Marik pointed to Tristan and Otogi. "Don't worry about those two. They're insane."
Tristan laughed as he held onto his thermos of coffee. "That's calling the kettle black, Rod-Boy."
"Look, Coffee-Boy…don't make me kick your a--."
Seto cleared his throat. "Chibis present."
"It's nice to meet you all," Glenn said with a smile.
"Glenn and I started talking a few weeks ago. And now we've started going out and stuff."
Bakura crossed his arms. "I'm proud that you're getting on with your own life, Yugi. You deserve it."
"You really do," Marik agreed.
Jeanie started shifting uncomfortably on the chair.
Seto handed Yugi a gift. "Happy Holidays, Yugi," Seto said, kissing Yugi on the forehead quickly.
Seto saw a confused look on Glenn's face. "Look, Glenn, the first thing you have to know about this family is that we are very open with each other. It's nothing for us to go up to one another and give each other a friendly kiss."
"Oh, it's okay. I just didn't know. I thought you loved Yugi."
Seto shook his head. "Yugi and I are friends and rivals. We used to be downright nasty to each other. Well….I was really nasty to him and I realized later he didn't deserve that from me."
Marik sipped his hot chocolate. "You're still a pompous ass sometimes, moneybags."
Seto pointed to Bakura and Marik. "But, I'd rather have my tongue ripped out than kiss those two."
"HEY!" Bakura and Marik narrowed their eyes.
"We happen to be downright sexy, thank you," Bakura said.
Marik shook his hips and gyrated them. "Yeah! See? I'm…too sexy for my Rod….too sexy for my Rod so sexy yeahhhh!!!!!"
Aten and Aria raised their eyebrows. "Dad! We're trying to eat here!"
Joey closed his eyes. "Marik, I'll give you everything I have if you never do that again."
Malik turned red and shook his head. "Oh sweet Isis!"
"Isis! Where?!" Marik asked as he looked around.
Jeanie shifted again on the chair again.
Yugi opened his gift first. "Wow! Thank you, Joey!" Yugi held up a professional pen and pencil set.
"That's for you. Now that you own the Game Shop now, you're like Kaiba! The CEO needs to have a good pen and pencil."
Yugi hugged Joey tightly. "Thank you, Joey! I got you something!"
Joey opened up Yugi's gift. His eyes widened when he saw what was inside the box.
"It's a Red Eyes Black Chick plushie!!!!!!" Joey removed the plushie from the box and cuddled it.
"Thank you, Yugi! I love it!"
Yugi hugged Joey and turned to Kaiba. "Kaiba, I got you something very special."
Seto opened his card as Jeanie put her hand on her belly.
Seto's jaw dropped. "Yugi….this is….beautiful."
Ryou, Marik, Bakura, and Malik ran to Seto.
"Ruby-Eyes White Dragon!"
Aria ran to her uncle's side. "Ruby Eyes?!"
Seto and Aria looked at the card.
*****Flashback*****
The pharaoh called out his Slyfer the Sky Dragon. Aten and Aria looked up at the size of it. They trembled at the ferocity of the large dragon.
Aten narrowed his purple eyes. "I summon 'Lord of the Dead' in defense mode."
Aria raised her hand. "I summon my 'Heartbroken Angel' in defense mode."
Yami laughed. "That is all you can summon? You will fall beneath our superior power!"
Seth looked at Aria with his eyes filled with tears. 'Aria, I love you.'
Aria looked at him with her large brown eyes. "Seth…..please don't do this."
Yami turned to Seth. "If you don't destroy them, Seth, I will have you executed."
"But….Aria….she is pregnant with my child. I cannot kill her."
Yami growled. "Kill her, Seth, or I will destroy all three of you! You will all be food for the jackals!"
Seth closed his eyes. "I call upon my 'Ruby-Eyes White Dragon!'"
A large white dragon appeared on the field. Its red eyes were red as if they were on fire.
Aten swallowed hard. "This is not going to be easy to win, Aria."
Aria looked up at the dragon and trembled. "Aten….I…..I can't do this."
"Yes you can, Aria. If the pharaoh wins, he's going to hold unlimited power! We don't want that, do we?!"
"Aten…look at the size of that dragon!"
"Aria, if Yami wins, the entire world is doomed! Think of your baby. Do you want to see your baby born?"
Aria looked down at her pregnant belly. "Yes."
"Then fight with me! We can do this! We just need to stick together!"
***End Flashback***
Seto and Aria exchanged glances. "The Ruby-Eyes White Dragon…."
Seto hugged Yugi. "Thank you, Yugi."
Jeanie's eyes widened as she felt something inside her pop.
"Umm…..guys?"
Seto turned his head to Jeanie to see a gush of fluid come from between Jeanie's legs.
"Mokuba! My water broke!"
Seto's eyes rolled into the back of his head and he fell unconscious on the floor. Robbie and Aten's eyes widened at the fluid.
Aria's jaw dropped. "I'm never having kids now after seeing that."
Joey kneeled beside Seto. "Seto? Seto!"
Bakura shook his head. "It won't do any good, Joey. He's out cold."
Joey fanned Seto.
Marik grabbed a pillow. "When we get you to the car, Jeanie, put this between your legs."
Miranda and Ryou held Jeanie's hands as she practiced her Lamazze breathing. She whimpered in pain.
"Deep breath," Ryou said calmly.
"It hurts, Miranda," Jeanie whimpered.
"I know it does, Jeanie. Just relax and take deep breaths."
Bakura ran to the phone. "Don, get the limo ready. Jeanie's water just broke."
[Damn it! Thanks, Bakura. I'll have it ready in two minutes.]
Ryou and Miranda supported Jeanie on her feet.
"Yugi, do you mind staying with the kids while we take Jeanie to the hospital?"
Joey fanned Seto. "When he wakes up, I'll bring him to the hospital."
Mokuba nodded. "Thanks, Joey."
Yugi saw the kids staring at the floor in shock.
Jaimen shook his head. "That was the coolest most grossest thing I have ever seen!"
Aria crossed her arms. "Nope, I'm not having a baby if that's what it looks like!"
Bakura growled. "You better not, Chibi Me!"
Aria shook her head. "Umi's just going to have to keep his penis to himself. I'm not having a baby if that stuff comes out of you."
Bakura snarled. "That boy comes near you at all like that, he'll have to invest in a wheelchair for the rest of his life."
Marik grinned. "I'm so glad I have a boy at times like these!"
Malik helped Joey fan Seto.
Marik leaned down and pat Seto on the face. "Hey, moneybags! Wake up, Rich-Boy!"
Seto's eyes opened slowly. "What happened?"
Jaimen ran over to Seto. "This disgusting stuff came out of Jeanie and you fainted, daddy! It was so gross!"
Seto closed his eyes. "Oh, right…."
Joey shook Seto gently. "Come on, Seto! Let's get you up! We have to get to Domino Hospital!"
"Yugi, are you okay looking after this group?" Marik asked as he looked at the group of kids.
"We'll be fine," Glenn said as he put his arms around Yugi in a cuddle.
"Okay," Marik said as he helped Seto to his feet.
Seto shifted on his feet unsteadily.
"Come on, Seto! Time to witness the beauty of procreation!"
Jaimen looked at the floor. "The beauty of procreation is gross."
********************************
Seto arrived at the hospital with Joey, Marik, and Bakura. They were allowed to go to the room and look through the window to see Jeanie deliver her babies.
Mokuba was scrubbed up and wore the doctor's clothes. His raven black hair was tied behind his head.
Bakura and Marik watched as Ryou and Miranda were holding Jeanie's hands. The two were helping Jeanie concentrate on her breathing.
"We're ready to deliver the first child," Dr. Peters said. "Push, Jeanie."
Jeanie gripped onto Ryou and Miranda's hands. She let out a scream and started to cry.
Ryou wiped her face with a wet cloth. "We know it hurts, Jeanie, but you're doing a wonderful job!"
Miranda held Jeanie's other hand. Robbie was her only son. She had lost three children before him, the most recent loss was only three years ago. She knew this pain all too well.
"You're doing great, Jeanie. Push with the contractions," Miranda told her.
"Push one more time, Jeanie."
Marik and Bakura held Seto up before he could faint.
The doctor looked up. "One more push, Jeanie, I can see the head."
Jeanie pushed and let out a whimper.
A tiny cry was heard as the doctor held up the first baby. "It's a girl, Mr. Kaiba."
Mokuba held the baby in his arms. The nurses wiped off the infant and cleared its windpipe. The baby girl let out a cry.
Mokuba held her in his arms and smiled down at her. The nurses gave him a pink blanket. He wrapped the baby up. "Hello, Lilly."
"You're naming her Lilly?"
"Lilly Ann Kaiba."
Mokuba stood by Jeanie and held his daughter. "She's beautiful, Jeanie."
Jeanie looked up at her daughter and smiled. "She's gorgeous!"
Mokuba leaned down and kissed her when she tensed up again.
"Mokuba!"
A nurse took the baby from Mokuba and he returned to Peters.
"Lilly Ann Kaiba weighs three pounds nine ounces," a nurse said as she wrote it down.
"Push, Jeanie," Peters said.
"I AM PUSHING!" Jeanie growled.
Ryou held her hand. "Jeanie, don't yell at the doctor, dear. He's trying to help."
"It hurts," she whimpered again.
"We know," Miranda said calmly.
Jeanie held onto the hands as she delivered the baby girl's identical twin. Mokuba held the second baby girl, Iris Jasmine Kaiba.
Mokuba held the baby girl and watched as the nurses cleaned her up. The tiny girl wailed like her sister.
Seto leaned against Bakura. "I can tell I'm not going to get much sleep."
Marik sighed. "I remember Aten crying at all hours of the morning."
"Yeah, Aria had a set of lungs on her from the cradle. I would go to her and pick her out of her cradle and rock her in my arms."
Marik smiled. "Yeah, I would take Aten out of his cradle and hold him in my arms. I'd sit in Ryou's rocking chair and hold him in my arms until he fell asleep. He was so small. I remember when he used to cry. I'd be able to hold him in my one hand." Marik sighed. "I want another baby, Itemri."
Bakura shifted his eyes. "Well, I got news for you, Ishtar. If you hadn't already noticed, I don't have breasts and a vagina."
Seto wavered again and held his stomach. "Bakura, please don't say those words."
Marik grinned. "I know. I didn't take notice last night."
"Marik, knock it off."
"I sure did. Damn near broke the thing off, too," Marik said.
Seto leaned against the glass. "I don't want to hear this."
"It's amazing what you can do with some duct tape, dental floss, and an apple."
Seto cringed. "I don't know how you managed that, Bakura, and frankly, I don't want to know."
Joey turned to them. "You're even more creepy than I thought, Bakura."
"It was Ishtar's idea."
Joey and Seto shook their heads. "Freaks."
Ryou and Miranda held onto Jeanie. "One more, sweetie," the white-haired man coached her.
Miranda wiped her forehead with a damp cloth. "One more, sweetheart. You can do it. Bear down."
Jeanie squeezed the hands holding onto her tightly as she started to cry. "I can't…."
"Jeanie, you have to, sweetie. Come on," Ryou said rubbing her hand.
"I'm tired."
"We know you are, honey, but you only have one more baby left."
Mokuba rubbed her leg. "It's okay, Jeanie. One more. Come on, baby."
Jeanie squeezed the hands as she let out a cry of pain.
Ryou bit his lip. He remembered how it felt giving birth to Aria. He gave birth to Aria and Aten via C-section. But, it still hurt like hell.
Mokuba watched the doctor reach under and pull the last child from between Jeanie's legs.
The doctor put the baby in the father's arms and cleaned the baby's windpipe.
"It's a boy, Jeanie!"
Jeanie fell back on the pillows exhausted. She panted and went limp.
The doctor cleaned the baby. "What are you going to name him?"
"Ceres Alexander Kaiba. Alex was always there for my brother and I when we arrived at KaibaCorp. It's only fair that I name my first son after him."
Ryou looked up at Mokuba. "Lilly? Iris? Ceres? Those are nice names. You don't see them too often."
"Jeanie and I wanted unusual names….names you never see anymore."
Mokuba stood beside Jeanie holding the crying boy. "They're beautiful, Jeanie."
Jeanie opened her eyes and reached up. "Where are our girls?"
Peters stood up and took the boy away from Mokuba. "We have to weigh him, Mokuba."
The nurses handed Jeanie her baby girls. When Peters was done, he handed the boy back to Mokuba.
Peters waved the family into the delivery room. Joey ran into the room excitedly.
"Oh, they are so cute, Mokuba!" Joey said as he looked at the girls.
Jeanie laughed as tears came down her eyes. "I'm so happy!"
Seto looked at the three quiet infants. "They are cute, Mokuba."
Mokuba walked around to Seto. "Big Brother, do you want to hold your nephew?" Mokuba looked up at Seto with his large eyes.
Seto looked down at him and saw Mokuba as a young child. /Hi, Big Brother! Do you want to play hopscotch with me?/
Seto blinked and saw his brother older, holding a baby in his arms. "Yeah…umm…I can."
Mokuba put Ceres in Seto's arms. The baby looked up at Seto with large blue eyes.
The CEO looked at the new life in his arms and bit his lip against the tears in his eyes. He had held Mokuba when he was an infant. He remembered holding Baby Mokuba in his arms and smiling down at him with pride and love.
"He looks just like you when you were a baby, Mokuba," Seto said.
"Isn't he cute?"
Seto looked up at Mokuba. "I'm really proud of you, Mokuba."
Mokuba hugged Seto. "I'll always be your Little Brother, Seto. This doesn't change anything between us."
Seto took his one arm and hugged his brother. "I love you, Mokuba. I'm so proud of you! He's beautiful, Jeanie."
Jeanie smiled. "Thanks."
"It's all over, Jeanie. Now you can relax," Miranda said.
Jeanie sighed in relief. Mokuba walked over to Jeanie.
"I love you, Jeanie," Mokuba said as he kissed Jeanie's forehead.
Seto turned away and left. Ryou turned and saw Seto had gone.
"Yami, I'll be right back."
Ryou ran out of the room and ran down the hall where he saw Seto standing by the elevator.
"Seto, are you okay?"
"My little brother isn't a child anymore. He's a family man now."
Ryou hugged Seto. "He still loves you, Seto."
"I don't doubt it," he said with a smile.
Ryou kissed Seto's cheek. "Are you going to wait for Joey?"
Seto sighed. "Yeah, tell Joey I'll meet him in the limousine."
Ryou nodded. "Okay, Seto."
Seto watched Ryou run back into the room, his white hair flying behind him.
Seto entered the elevator and allowed the doors to close. He leaned against the side of the elevator. He crossed his arms and looked down at the floor of the elevator.
He wiped a tear away.
"Jasmine…..he used our mother's name."
The CEO let out a little smile, contented that no one could see him.
