Reconciliation
Seto, Joey, and Ryou crowded around Malik after he jumped from the table grabbing his hand. Malik closed his eyes tightly as his hand clenched tightly. The children had stopped eating and they were watching Malik with frightened, confused eyes.
Robbie and Aten watched Malik mutter Egyptian curses under his breath.
Ryou touched Malik's arm lightly. “Let me see, Malik.”
Malik slowly uncurled his hand and saw a cut on his palm which was trickling blood. “What is happening to him?” Malik winced as Ryou covered his hand with a napkin.
“We have a first aid kit in the bathroom. Back in a moment,” Seto said as he left the Dining Hall.
Mokuba stood beside Malik and raised an eyebrow. “Did you cut yourself?”
“No, somebody cut Marik.”
Jeanie replaced Ceres on his chair after the little boy climbed off the chair to have a better look at Malik's hand.
Rhett watched Malik's blood trickle and left out a squeal. Aria rubbed the boy's back.
”Don't worry, Rhett. Malik will be fine.”
”Don't worry, Rhett. Malik will be fine.”
Seto returned with a first aid kit and cleaned up the wound. Ryou wrapped the bandage and watched Malik shiver.
“It's cold,” Malik said.
Bakura shrugged as he bit into a piece of carrot. “It's hot as a desert in here! How can you be cold?”
Malik continued to shiver. “I don't know, but I'm cold.”
Joey handed Malik his bathrobe. “This might fit you.”
“No, Joey, you'll need that more than I.”
Joey shook his head. “No, I'll be fine.”
Malik sat on his chair and continued to eat.
“How's he holding up?” Bakura asked.
Malik shrugged. “I don't know. He's still out cold. Marik won't talk to me through the mindlink unless he is awake and he's been asleep all day so far.”
Bakura narrowed his eyes. “I bet they learned their lesson from before when they tried to take me out.”
“How so?” Yugi asked.
“Well, they made the mistake of letting me wake up and become conscious. If they know what is good for them, they'll keep Ishtar well sedated. However, if they keep him knocked out, it's going to be hard to track him down.”
Yugi sighed. “I heard what happened to you, Bakura, and I'm glad you're okay.”
“Better than a mortal would be, anyway, in that situation. Ryou would have been killed. I can take more of a beating.”
Glenn turned to Bakura. “It's amazing that you survived all that.”
“Well, Glenn, killing the dead is pointless. Trying to kill the dead can be hazardous to your health, as Rocher's goons discovered, albeit a little too late.”
Ivy turned to Bakura, her large green eyes sparkling. “What does dead mean, Uncle Bakura?”
Bakura coughed and covered his mouth. “Dead? Dead means……ummm…ask your father.”
Mokuba's eyes opened wide. “She asked you!”
“No, no, no. I had to be asked all the difficult questions when Aria was a kid and I had to answer them! `What is death, daddy?' `Why do people have butts, daddy?' `What do boys' penises do?' `Why do I have a vagina, daddy?' 'Where do babies come from?' No way! I'm not touching that one with a ten foot pole.”
Aria and Ryou giggled at Bakura's reluctance to answer the tough questions.
“I answered my little girl's questions and now it's your turn, Daddy Mokuba,” Bakura said, taking another bite of his special-ordered bloody roast.
Mokuba turned to his daughter. “Dead means that someone or something doesn't move anymore. It is sleeping for a really long time.”
“Why does Uncle Bakura move if he is sleeping?” Ivy asked.
“Because…..Uncle Bakura is special.”
Ivy smiled. “Uncle Bakura is very special! One time he played with me with my teaset!”
Ryou coughed up his food and started laughing hysterically. Bakura's ears turned red and he slapped his hand over his eyes in embarrassment.
“He did! It was a long time ago when I was really young! Uncle Bakura sipped his tea and was complimenting Mr. Bear on her dress!”
Ryou's face began to turn red. “Excuse me!” Ryou ran from the room on shaky legs, laughing uncontrollably.
`Just get me out of here,' Bakura thought.
“Uncle Bakura even wore the pretty little pink hat I had! It was fun!”
The entire table was now laughing, unable to eat.
Umi was leaning against Aria in an attempt not to fall onto the floor as he laughed.
Bakura stood up and pointed to everyone at the table. “To hell with you all!”
The entire table continued to laugh, except for Aten, who stopped laughing suddenly at Bakura's angry outburst.
Bakura walked out of the room and found Ryou outside sitting on a chair. “Go ahead, laugh it up.”
Ryou looked up at his husband and giggled. “It's just so funny!”
Bakura leaned against the hallway as the roars of laughter continued from within the Dining Hall.
“Yami, it was just funny! You take it so personally!”
Bakura folded his arms in resignation. “It's hard sometimes to keep up the tough-guy image.”
Ryou stood up and stepped in front of his husband. “Hey, you're still the tough-guy in my book. They're all just laughing because they know you. They know what you have been and what you are now. The Bakura I knew when he first came into my life would never sit down with a three year old girl and have a tea party wearing a pink hat with a bow on it.”
Bakura chuckled. “No, you're right. That Bakura would have done something quite different.”
“Having kids was a good thing for you. It taught you a lot of what I couldn't teach you through example alone.”
Bakura uncrossed his arms and pulled Ryou close to him. “I love you.”
Ryou smiled. “I love you, too, baby.”
Bakura pulled Ryou into a deep kiss in the hallway, unbeknownst to them that they had an audience.
Aten watched his mother kiss Bakura and his eyes widened. Aten watched Bakura grab Ryou's hair and smack him across the face with the other hand.
Aten jumped into the hallway and grabbed Bakura's hand from rubbing Ryou's back.
“DON'T HIT MY MOTHER!” Aten threatened angrily.
Ryou broke the kiss and turned to Aten. “Aten, Bakura isn't hitting me!”
“I saw him! He grabbed you and hit you!”
Ryou shook his head as the laughter from the table had ended and the sounds of chairs shuffling across the floor echoed through the room.
“How dare you hit my mother!” Aten bellowed at Bakura.
“I didn't hit Ryou, Aten!” Bakura retorted.
Seto appeared in the hallway. “Is everything okay?”
“Yes, Seto,” Ryou answered. “Aten thinks that Bakura was hitting me.”
“He was!” Aten insisted.
Bakura shook his head. “No, I was playing tonsil-hockey with my husband,” he answered honestly.
Robbie stepped beside Aten. “Maybe you thought you saw it.”
“I did! Why doesn't anyone believe me?”
Robbie put his arm around Aten's shoulder. “Look, you're tired. Why don't you say we go home, have a nice bath, and get our asses to bed, okay?”
Aten sighed and moved his head side to side. “I'm really stiff. My muscles hurt they're so tight.”
“Okay, then, we'll get Heaven and go.”
Miranda and Daniel looked at each other. “Heaven?”
Robbie nodded. “Yeah, I was going to say something, but Malik's hand started bleeding. We've named our daughter. Her name is Heaven Raine Ishtar. I decided that `Miracle' could be her nickname.”
Glenn and Yugi looked back at the baby sitting in a carrier, moving her one leg protruding from the bottom of her dress.
“That sounds like a pretty name.”
Robbie nodded. “She's our angel. We better get Aten and Heaven home, dad.”
“That's a good idea.”
Aten looked down at the floor. “I'm sorry, mother. Sorry, Father Bakura.”
“No harm done,” Ryou said, touching Aten's cheek. “You go home and get yourself some rest, okay, baby boy?” Ryou kissed Aten on the cheek and hugged him.
Aten hugged Ryou and Bakura. “Goodnight.”
Seto and the others watched the Morgans leave with Aten and Robbie. The group returned to their dinner.
Yugi removed his hat. “At least I can take this off now.”
“Thank you for wearing that, Yugi. I know you weren't so excited about the idea. I just didn't want to make things more difficult for Aten. You can see how he's been reacting to things.”
Yugi nodded. “So I see. He's lost weight.”
“I've seen this stuff before when my aunt passed away,” Glenn said. “She seemed all over the place before she went. She kept saying her mom was in the room when her mom died ten years before her….and nobody but me was in the room.”
Ryou looked down at his plate. “I remember seeing my mom, but she talked to me before she died. Nobody else was in the room.”
Rhett watched Malik and reached out for him. “Ma! Ma!”
Aria looked down at Rhett. “What is it, Rhett?”
Rhett was pointing at Malik. “Ma-k! Ma-k!”
Malik looked up and saw the little boy gesturing towards him. “What is it, Rhett?”
“I think he wants you,” Aria said, picking the boy up. “Do you want to hold him?”
Malik nodded. “Yeah, sure, I'll hold him.”
Aria picked up Rhett and put him on Malik's lap. Rhett touched Malik's hand and reached up with his other hand to play with Malik's lip.
The baby giggled as Malik held him and played with his nose and lip.
Outside, the blue sky became dark with clouds. Rain began falling and tapping upon the window panes as Kai sat in his chair looking out the door.
“Why did Aten leave?” Kai asked.
“Aten's not feeling too well,” Joey said. “He needs to go home and take a nap.”
Kai leaned back in his chair, feeling something strange inside his chest. He felt like his heart was sinking. A weight had been attached to it and it was falling.
“Mommy, I don't feel too well,” Kai said.
Aria brought Kai onto her lap and held him there. She rocked him gently and pet his blue and white hair.
Mokuba leaned back in his chair and looked out the window. “It's really coming down out there. Weren't we supposed to have sunshine today all day?”
Jeanie nodded. “Yeah, the news didn't say anything about showers. I didn't see clouds anywhere near Domino.”
Malik raised an eyebrow as he held Rhett. “That is strange. I know Marik can control some forces, but he's unconscious now. This can't be his doing.”
“Maybe it's just a freak storm,” Seto said. “It happens.”
The rain slammed onto the window with a deafening force.
“Not like this,” Joey commented, standing up. “I've never seen anything like this.”
The crowd stood up and looked out the windows. The rain was beating down hard on the people below as they scurried for cover like ants.
Kai jumped off his chair and ran to look where the adults were peering. Ceres, Ivy, and Lily ran beside him and their mouths opened wide.
“Wow, it's really coming down!” Lily gasped.
“Can I go play in the puddles, daddy?” Ceres asked Mokuba.
Mokuba shook his head. “No, Ceres, I don't want you to get sick.”
Ivy jumped as a crash of lightening streaked across the sky. She ran to her mother's leg, clutching tightly and shivering. “I hate lightening!”
Jeanie picked up her little girl and held her in her arms. “It won't hurt you, Ivy. You're safe here.”
Kai looked up at Seto. “Will Aten and Robbie get home okay in the rain?”
“I don't think they'll have a problem,” the CEO replied.
Kai squinted as he tried to look for the Morgan's car. The thunder rolled across the sky.
Kai returned to his seat and began picking at his food with the fork, contemplating. The adults returned to the table and Malik placed Rhett in his high chair.
Malik sat in his own seat and felt a tingling in his hand where the mysterious cut had been made. Malik looked at the hand and his eyes widened to find that the cut had been healed!
Malik turned to Ryou and poked him. “Ry! Look! My hand is healed!”
Ryou raised an eyebrow. “How could that be? I've never had a cut heal that quick.”
Bakura turned to Malik, listening to the conversation with his Light. “Let me see your hand, Malik.”
Bakura took the Egyptian's hand and saw not even a presence of a scar. The injury had been healed. The yami looked up at his daughter.
“Chibi Yami. Look here.”
Aria raised her head and saw Bakura holding Malik's hand up. “Malik, what happened to that cut on your hand?”
Malik shrugged. “I don't know. It healed…….somehow.”
Seto and the other guests stopped their conversations and saw Malik's healed injury.
Umi looked at Rhett with shock and amazement. “Did our son do that, Aria?”
Aria shrugged. “I don't know. He's only a baby. How could he?”
“Maybe it's magic,” Yugi said. “Maybe he got some of your powers, Aria.”
“I can't heal things, though,” Aria answered. “It can't have been my powers.”
The entire table looked to Bakura, who became suddenly aware of everyone watching him take a bite of his bloody meat.
The entire table looked to Bakura, who became suddenly aware of everyone watching him take a bite of his bloody meat.
“What?”
“Bakura, maybe Rhett got your powers!” Joey exclaimed.
Bakura shook his head. “I don't heal. I can't. My powers command the dead souls. I am not a doctor. My powers destroy.”
“What about Marik?” Mokuba asked. “Can't he heal?”
Bakura scratched his spiky white hair in thought. “No. Marik controls the elements. Fire, water, earth, and air. He can't play doctor, either.”
Aria looked down at Rhett. “Rhett, did you heal Uncle Malik's hand?”
The baby looked up at Malik and sucked on his thumb innocently.
“Rhett couldn't have done it,” Seto said. “He's only an infant. Babies can't heal.”
Ryou turned to Seto. “Maybe not typical babies. The babies in our family are far from typical, Seto, you know that.”
“Especially yami spawn,” Yugi added.
“Aria and Aten exhibited odd powers in their first years,” Ryou said. “Aria was always opening portals to the Shadow Realm and Aten…..well…..he……he was getting into trouble of his own with Shadow Magic.”
Malik giggled. “Never give an Ishtar spawn a Millennium Rod. Naughty things happen with them.”
“Aten has the Scepter of Ra, though,” Ryou said. “He has his own Item now.”
“My Trident is safe at home,” Aria said. “Nobody's getting it without a good fight from me.”
Mokuba shrugged. “We won't know if Rhett healed Malik until this comes up again. Maybe Marik was healed.”
“No, we have to be in our Item to heal that fast,” Malik corrected. “Marik has to go into the Rod to heal from a cut and I know he's not in here.”
“Keep an eye on him, then, Aria. See if he does anything else,” Jeanie said.
Aria looked down at Rhett, who was beginning to look tired. Was Rhett a healer? Could this baby possibly cure Aten's heart trouble if he could heal a simple cut? Was Rhett responsible for the scent of the Shadow Realm in his bedroom and the disappearance of common household appliances and clothing?
`Rhett's abilities could be a blessing or a curse. He takes after his mommy, alright,' Aria thought as a small, proud smile crossed her face.
**************************
Robbie ran the bathwater for Aten and splashed some scented oil in the water. He prepared everything he would need for Aten's bath.
Robbie sat at the edge of the tub watching the water run. His husband had helped him wash Heaven for the first time since she had entered their lives. At first he seemed reluctant to want to touch the baby, but with some patient prodding, Aten had managed to wash her back and her hair without becoming too anxious.
If Aten could handle washing her back and her hair for now, then that is all he would do. Robbie didn't want to push his partner into anything he didn't want to do. Robbie was just proud that Aten had taken the initiative to bond with the newborn baby girl.
Aten had even fed her bottle to her for dinner. Robbie saw Aten's face give a very faint smile as the Egyptian watched her eat.
It had been hard to see, but Robbie could have swore he saw a tear drop from Aten's eye as the baby sucked on the bottle.
After putting the baby to bed for the night, Aten had to lay down in his bed. Robbie had noticed how stiff Aten's back was becoming. Aten's movement was slow and his skin had become colder.
Aten ate nothing after the dinner at Seto's and declined any food or water afterwards.
Robbie's ears perked up when he heard a moan come from his bedroom. His heart seized in his chest as he recognized the moan.
He quickly turned off the water and ran into his bedroom. Aten was laying on his side curled up in a fetal position, clutching his chest.
“Aten! Aten, are you okay?”
Aten opened his mouth, but no words were coming out. “Hurts….”
Robbie sat beside Aten and took his hand. “I'm here, Aten. We just gave you painkillers. They should have worked by now.”
The icy-cold hand chilled Robbie's. “They haven't.”
“Give it some time to work, okay? Just relax. Do your breathing exercises.”
Aten's eyes raised up to Robbie's. “Sorry….”
“No, don't be sorry,” Robbie said, running his free hand through Aten's hair. “That water will still be there in the tub. It's not going anywhere.”
Aten shifted closer to Robbie and began breathing with loud wheezing.
`I feel so damn helpless,' Robbie thought, wishing he could make this process easier for his dying spouse……his dying friend.
Robbie saw Aten close his eyes and began to mutter some hymn in Arabic. He watched Aten's body jerk and convulse.
“Aten, it's okay,” Robbie said quietly. “I'm here by your side.”
Aten's eyes slowly opened and his body slowly relaxed. He looked more tired now than he did before the angina attack.
“Sorry…….”
Robbie shook his head. “No, don't apologize. Stay here until you feel well enough to get up.”
Aten's breath brushed over Robbie's leg. Robbie shivered as the breath was even cold.
“Aten, you're like ice! I hope you're not coming down with a bug.”
Aten gave a weak chuckle. “A bug is the least of my problems now and you know it.”
“I know, but at least it gave you a laugh.”
“Very true.”
Aten laid in bed ten minutes before he could find the strength, with Robbie's help, to get out of bed and walk towards the bathroom. Aten's entire body was moving stiffly. The Egyptian seemed to have intense difficulty moving his legs and keeping hold of Robbie. Robbie supported Aten to the bathroom where the Egyptian sat on the toilet, exhausted.
“I'm going to get you some boxers and your robe,” Robbie said.
Robbie left and returned with Aten's white robe and a pair of red boxers. He closed the door behind him and hung the clothing on the back of the door. He remembered the advice given to him by Chapman. [If Aten is having hallucinations and he thinks you are somebody else, you have to be patient with him. If you have to help Aten in any….triggering situations, let him know EXACTLY what you are going to do. That way, he gets to be as independent as he wishes and it keeps him grounded.]
“Aten, I'm going to help you into the tub if you need help. All I'm going to do is wash your hair and wash your body down. If you want to wash yourself, that's fine. If you want me to leave at any time or if you want to do this yourself, you let me know, okay?”
Aten nodded. “Okay.”
“Need help getting into the tub?”
Aten nodded. “I don't think I'll get into the tub without falling. I'm not strong enough.”
Robbie was more than happy to oblige, considering he remembered Aten falling down the steps from a sudden bout of weakness.
He helped Aten into the tub and watched the Egyptian lean back and relax against the back of the tub.
Aten leaned his head back against the tile and closed his eyes. “Thank you, Robbie.”
“Don't you worry about it. At least you're here safe tonight and not wandering the streets of Domino.”
Aten sighed. “I had no idea I did that.”
“I'm just glad you're safe,” Robbie answered. He turned on the showerhead and rinsed Aten's white and blond hair. “I don't think I would have ever forgiven myself if anything happened to you. Do you want me to wash your hair?”
“If you want.”
“No, what do YOU want?”
“You can wash it.”
Robbie squeezed some strawberry shampoo onto Aten's hair and began to lather it into his hair and the scalp.
“I just remember thinking you were……..him.”
Robbie sighed and worked the shampoo into Aten's hair deeply. “I'm not him, Aten.”
“I know…..but I couldn't tell.”
“He won't sleep beside you, Aten,” Robbie said calmly. “He's dead. He's been dead.”
Robbie watched teardrops fall from Aten's eyes. “Oops. Did I get soap in your eyes?”
Aten's bottom lip trembled and the Egyptian burst into tears. Aten covered his face with his hands as the shampoo crept between his fingers and over his dark shoulders. “Why, Robbie?”
“Why what?”
Loud, sorrow-filled wailing overcame Aten and Robbie opened his arms. Aten hugged his friend, soaking Robbie's shirt with water and shampoo.
“Why do I have to die?”
Robbie closed his eyes, wishing he didn't have to answer. “I don't know.”
“Heaven is so young! She's going to be a baby, but she's going to get older. She's going to play and be a happy little girl.” Aten clutched onto Robbie tightly. “Please, Robbie….PLEASE…..please see to it that she doesn't have the childhood experiences I did! Please don't let her feel my pain! Don't let her get hurt like I did! She deserves a happy childhood! She deserves a happy life! A long life!”
Robbie could feel Aten's heart racing wildly against his chest. He was waiting for Aten's heart to leap out of the ribcage.
“I will do my best to keep her safe, Aten.”
“I'll never see her grow up, Robbie. I am begging you…..give her a good life.”
Robbie looked into Aten's brown and purple eyes, his own blue eyes filling up with tears for the desperate pleas of his partner. “I will do my best to keep her safe, Aten. I promise to love her and take care of her.”
“I'll never see her grow up, Robbie……I….I won't even see my sister's new baby.”
Robbie rubbed Aten's back. “I know, Aten.”
“Watching Heaven eat and watching her play…..I feel sad for her because she has to live with what her mother did. She won't walk now because of that woman,” Aten said. His last word was filled with something more than hatred….more than a feeling of being despised……it was said with a hint of venomous poison.
“I'll take care of Heaven, Aten. Medicine has come a long way. She can get prosthetic legs. She's young so it won't take long for her to adjust to them.”
Aten held onto Robbie tightly against him. “I just want her happy.”
“She will be happy, Aten. I'll do whatever it takes to make her happy.”
Aten leaned back in the bath and yawned with exhaustion. “Thank you, Robbie.”
“Do you want to wash yourself or do you want me to do it?”
Aten opened up a tired eye. “Can you do it for me?”
Robbie removed Aten's arm from his shoulders with a nod. “I can do it for you. If you want me to stop, just tell me, okay?”
Aten nodded.
Robbie set Aten's arm on the side of the tub and realized how light it had become. Aten's weak arm hung limp over the tub as its tired owner leaned against the tile.
Robbie lathered up a washcloth and washed his lover gently. Aten's cold skin seemed to react to the warm bath. The scented oil wafted from the water and perfumed the air as Aten bathed.
“Thank you, Robbie. This feels good.”
“That's how it's supposed to feel, silly,” Robbie quipped. “How do you like the water? Too cold?”
Aten shook his head. “No, just right.”
“You're shoulders are really tight. I think a nice massage after the bath will help you relax. You're tight as a knot.”
“I'm just really stiff everywhere.”
Robbie nodded. “I can tell.”
Robbie washed Aten's body down and saw how much weight Aten had lost. His husband had been skinny all his life, but now it looked like he was a walking corpse.
“Have you been eating?”
Aten shook his head slowly. “Today was the first thing I had in two days.”
“You need to eat to keep your strength up.”
“I know…but my stomach won't keep anything down…and I lost my appetite.”
Robbie sighed as he watched Aten's eyes start to flutter. “Let's get you out of here before you fall asleep in the tub.”
Robbie helped Aten out of the tub and dried Aten's hair. He helped Aten put his boxers on and pulled them up for him. “If I'm giving you that massage, you won't need the robe right away.”
Aten walked to the bedroom by himself, using the walls for support. He collapsed on his stomach on the bed weakly.
Robbie shut the door behind them and hung Aten's robe over a chair. He grabbed a bottle of massage oil and placed it beside the bed. Aten watched as Robbie removed his own shirt and pants. “You made me all wet from that hug,” Robbie said with a smile.
“Sorry.”
“Don't worry about it. Move over so I can lay beside you here.”
Aten moved over on the bed and Robbie laid on the bed beside him. Robbie leaned his cane beside the wall and turned towards Aten.
“Feel any better from that bath?”
“A little. I feel clean.”
“Well, if you felt dirty, I would worry. I tried to make it comfortable for you.”
Aten smiled. “I'm looking forward to my massage.”
“Oh, you are, are you?” Robbie asked with a grin.
“My muscles are stiff and it's hard to move.”
Robbie grabbed the bottle of oil and squeezed it over Aten's back. “We have to get those muscles to relax.”
Robbie's hand rubbed Aten's back, making the Egyptian moan this time with happiness and contentment. “I knew you'd like that.”
Aten tilted his head down so Robbie could rub his neck. He closed his eyes as Robbie's fingers worked the tight mass of muscles and skin.
“Just relax, Aten. Breathe normally. Deep breaths.”
Aten felt Robbie kiss his shoulder and he smiled. “That is good stuff.”
Robbie's hands drifted down Aten's spine where `MINE' was still cut and scarred into his flesh. Robbie's hand rubbed Aten's lower back and watched Aten turn his head and smile.
“You are good at this,” Aten grinned.
“Well, I've had a lot of practice these past few nights doing this to you. You fell asleep every night I've done this to you.”
“That's because it feels good.”
Robbie watched Aten's hips shift on the bed. “Getting uncomfortable?”
Aten blushed slightly. “Well, believe it or not, yes, this time I am.”
Robbie grinned. It wasn't often that Aten was able to get an erection just by a back massage alone. Aten usually had to take a little pill to achieve any type of arousal.
“Do you want me to stop?”
“No, don't stop. Keep going.”
Robbie motioned for Aten to come closer to him. Aten brought his face closer to Robbie. Robbie leaned in towards Aten and planted a light, seductive kiss on Aten's lips. The Egyptian returned the favor by kissing his lover lightly.
Robbie's hand rubbed up Aten's back and over the back of Aten's boxers. Robbie rubbed up and reached into the back of Aten's boxers, giving Aten's buttocks a light groping.
Aten reached over with his left arm and rubbed the back of Robbie's hair. His slender fingers slipped through Robbie's curly black hair.
Robbie kissed Aten's shoulder and Aten rested his head against the pillow. Robbie crawled on top of Aten and kissed the back of Aten's neck and his shoulders. Aten moaned and pulled his hair to the side. His hips bucked back as Robbie brushed himself against him.
Robbie's hand drifted along Aten's sides, feeling Aten's ribs through the cold skin. Robbie gave a shiver as the cold body beneath him brushed against him. “You are chilled to the bone,” Robbie said.
Aten turned his head to the side. “Sorry. I don't know why.”
“Don't worry about it,” Robbie said, resuming his kissing of Aten's shoulder again.
Aten turned and kissed Robbie's forehead.
“How are you feeling?” Robbie asked.
“Not bad,” Aten said with a small grin.
“Do you feel up to this?”
Aten looked into the blue eyes of his partner. Aten shifted under Robbie as he felt his body reacting to Robbie's touch. He knew that he and Robbie had little time for intimacy since the arrival of the baby girl. There had also been the issue of his physical condition. His chest had been hurting more as the days went by. His desire for sex was nowhere to be seen.
`How many more times will I be able to do this with him?' Aten asked himself.
Aten reached up and ran his fingers through Robbie's curly hair. He couldn't neglect the fact that his hips were becoming increasingly uncomfortable as his body reacted to Robbie's affections.
“How can I say no to you? Especially when it feels so good.”
Robbie smiled and leaned over kissing Aten's lips. Aten's fingers ran through Robbie's hair lightly.
Robbie's hand slipped under Aten's boxers and rubbed his hip. Aten raised himself so he was kneeling on the bed. Robbie was kneeling behind him, running his hands over Aten's chest and his stomach.
Aten deepened the kiss with Robbie as he continued to pet Robbie's hair.
Robbie's right hand slipped under the elastic band of Aten's boxers and gingerly wrapped around Aten's arousal, making he Egyptian moan into the kiss. Robbie's left hand rubbed Aten's chest.
Robbie slowly stroked Aten's arousal and grinded against him. Aten pushed down his boxers and reached back to rub Robbie's hip.
Aten tilted his head back, breaking the kiss with Robbie. Robbie kissed his lover's jaw down to his neck.
“Robbie……don't stop.”
“I don't plan on it,” Robbie grinned.
Aten whimpered as Robbie moved his thumb over the tip of his own arousal.
“This is only the beginning,” Robbie grinned, kissing Aten's ear.
****************************
Isis stood on the balcony looking over the city. The morning sun was already beating down on Cairo. Her hand went to her Millennium Necklace as she sighed with resignation.
Odion stood behind her. “Isis? What troubles you?”
Isis sighed. “What is to come, Odion. That is what troubles me.”
“The Scriptures have already stated that it will happen. It is inevitable for the two to fight.”
Isis turned to Odion. “It took me years to forgive Marik for what he did to my brother. I never thought I would find forgiveness for hurting my poor brother and for Battle City. This is the first time that I can actually say…..I pity Marik for what is ahead of him. I hope he is strong enough to do what needs to be done.”
Odion stood beside her. “Marik never had a problem killing his own blood.”
“Marik killed my father because of what he did to Malik. Marik was angry and was protecting my brother.”
“Do you think he can do it?”
Isis shook his head. “He loves him so much. Aten is his father's pride and joy.”
“I can't see him doing it.”
“He must, Odion. If he doesn't destroy his own flesh and blood, the world will suffer.”
Odion closed his eyes and shook his head. “Are we asking too much of him?”
“Marik must do this. It is time for us to go to Domino. The time in question is at hand.”
Odion nodded. “I will make arrangements for our journey.”
Odion turned and Isis stopped him.
“Odion?”
“Isis?”
Isis turned to Odion. “Do not tell Marik of what we have discovered in the sacred texts. He must not know until the time comes.”
“What if he asks as to the purpose of our visit?”
Isis shrugged. “We are there to visit.”
Odion bowed his head and disappeared into the apartment.
Isis turned to the cityscape and looked over it. “This will be the true test of the father's love for his son.”

Aten clutched the pillow under his head and panted heavily onto the bedsheet. He buried his face into the pillow as a moan of pleasure escaped him.
Robbie leaned over Aten and kissed the back of Aten's neck. “Stay with me, Aten.”
Aten turned his head away from the pillow and kissed his lover deeply. Robbie moaned into the deep, hungry kiss and continued to stroke his lover quickly.
Aten's body trembled as he thrust himself back against Robbie. The Egyptian broke the kiss as his lungs were air-deprived from the ferocity of the kiss.
Robbie could almost feel Aten's pulse racing faster than the speed of light as he felt his own climax imminent.
“Robbie……don't stop,” Aten begged as tears were running down his cheeks.
“Almost there, Aten. Come on, baby….let me feel you.”
Aten clutched the pillow tightly and his body trembled harder. Robbie buried himself in his lover and heard Aten grunt and whimper.
Robbie felt Aten release hard onto his hand. Aten continued to thrust into Robbie's grip and force out the rest of his release.
Robbie held Aten close and released hard into Aten's body. He collapsed on top of Aten and trembled with his lover.
Both boys panted heavily as they laid together, their bodies covered in sweat.
Robbie reached for Aten's white and blond hair and began to pet the hair lovingly. “Aten? You okay?”
Aten raised his arm and felt around Robbie's head. He touched Robbie's hair and ran his fingers through the black, curly locks.
“Aten?”
Aten remained quiet.
Robbie removed himself from Aten and rolled beside Aten. Aten turned his head and gave Robbie a smile.
The two teens slipped underneath the covers. Aten laid his head on Robbie's chest and cuddled up close to Robbie.
Robbie continued to run his fingers through Aten's hair and held him close. “Did I hurt you?”
“No, you didn't,” Aten said with a smile. “I'm glad I was able to…..you know.”
Robbie kissed the top of Aten's head. “I'm just glad that we spent this time together, Aten. This means a lot to me.”
Aten lifted his eyes to look into Robbie's blue eyes. “You and I haven't been together like that for a long time. I didn't want to deny you anything. That wouldn't be right for me. Besides, Dr. Zira said that there's no limit on sexual activity. As long as my angina doesn't act up too much, I'm free to have all the hot Robbie-lovin' I want.”
Robbie laughed. “Well, the Aten-lovin' was hot.”
Aten chuckled and shook his head. “Robbie-lovin'.”
“At least you haven't completely lost your sense of humor.”
“I haven't lost my sense of humor!”
Robbie smiled and laughed. “Easy, tiger.”
Aten shook his head. “What am I going to do with you?”
“Second round?”
“Do you plan on killing me with sex?”
Robbie raised an eye. “That wouldn't be a bad way to go, but no, that's not my intention.”
Aten reached below the sheets and wrapped his hand around Robbie's arousal. Robbie closed his eyes and sighed. Aten crawled on top of Robbie and kissed his lover's lips lightly.
Robbie opened his eyes and stared into the brown and purple eyes hovering nearby. Robbie reached up and cupped Aten's cheek in the palm of his hand. “I love you, Aten.”
Aten touched his forehead against Robbie's. “I will always love you, Robbie.”
