HET LEMON!
Pound of Flesh
Ryou and Malik waited for Bakura's arrival. Malik sighed as he tried to open the mindlink with his yami. Marik was quiet and he couldn't even sense where he may be hiding. Marik's silence was always slightly unsettling to his hikari, who knew his yami's unpredictable nature.
/Marik, I won't be angry with you! Please answer me! Where are you?/
//………………//
/Marik, I'm worried about you and I don't know where you are. If you're in trouble, tell me where you are, I'll come for you./
//……………..//
/Marik, don't you believe me?/
//……………….//
Malik sighed as he sat on the couch. “Nothing from Marik yet.”
“I sure hope he's okay,” Ryou said. “I'm not angry, but I want to know why he felt he had to bring Aten back.”
“Marik thought Aten was being harmed. Besides, you know how he felt about Aten's death. Bakura was pissed at Marik, but I can understand why. I'm trying to tell him to come home and I'm not angry at him.”
Isis walked into the room with a book and an apple in her other hand. She sat beside her brother and flipped through the pages. “I wish I had my Necklace. I'd be able to see where he would be going.”
“Any luck, sister?”
Isis shook her head as she leaned back against the couch, a large tome in her hand. “Bringing a body to life is difficult without the right incantations. Ridding a body of mortality is even more complicated. There seem to be no incantations for removing life from unlife.”
Ryou turned to Isis. “Can yamis really become mortal again? Is it possible?”
“I have heard of a ritual. Unfortunately, I have also read about it in fiction. The ritual is similar to the Yami Virus, but the death is more painful. Death also comes faster. It's akin to Soul Poisoning.”
Malik and Ryou exchanged confused glances. “Soul Poisoning?”
“The soul suffers as if it has taken a poisonous elixir. The yami dies and the yami's body is left behind. The soul can cross into the Land of the Dead, but the pain is intense.”
Ryou looked down with a sigh. “Bakura wants to die again. I don't want him to die in pain, Isis. I remember how he suffered with the Yami Virus. He was suffocating.”
The white-haired hikari watched outside as a car pulled into their driveway. “Bakura's home, thank heavens.”
Isis and Malik raised their heads as they heard child-like giggling.
“Is that….Bakura?”
Ryou nodded. “Must be.” Ryou heard a body knock into the door and giggle uncontrollably. “Oh boy, I'm in trouble.”
Ryou opened the door as Bakura stumbled inside.
“Hey, Ry! This door was in my way…meanie door,” the yami giggled.
Bakura fell forward onto Ryou, making the hikari stagger. Ryou shifted Bakura so one of his yami's arms was draped over his shoulders.
“Bakura is blood-drunk,” Malik said.
“Can someone get the door while I get him…un-bloodlusted?”
Isis shut the door as Bakura smiled at her.
“I would love to have hot, wild, bloody sex with you, cute little woman,” Bakura said, his words slightly slurring.
“'Kura!” Ryou scolded.
“Oh, don't worry, Ry, I'm sure she'd like a little bit of yami lovin'. What you say, good-lookin'? Want a piece of the hottest thief in town?”
Isis shook her head and returned beside her brother. “No, thank you, Bakura.”
Bakura giggled as he thrust his hips forward suggestively. “We can make beautiful babies together! Cute, sexy white-haired babies! Come on, sexy girl!”
“Bakura, you have no idea what you're saying. Let's get you upstairs.”
“Where we goin'?”
Ryou helped Bakura walk up the steps. “Our new furniture is arriving tomorrow. We have to use the Ishtar bedroom. Come on, angel.”
Bakura snickered. “You said `come'.”
“Oh good god, yes I did, yami.”
Ryou lead Bakura to the bed. The yami fell on the bed, giggling and trying to unbutton his shirt. Ryou closed the door to the room and returned to the bed.
“Here let me help you.”
Bakura's hands rubbed the front of his pants. “Blood all over, Ry. It was a slaughter.”
Ryou shook his head as he removed Bakura's shirt. “I can't believe Aten would do such a thing.”
“Believe it, sexy,” Bakura moaned. “I can still smell the entrails…the sight of her bones shattered.”
Ryou put his finger on Bakura's lips. “Please. Don't go on. I don't want to know.”
Bakura kissed Ryou's fingertip and swallowed around the digit suggestively.
He moaned around the finger and reached up to caress Ryou's cheek. His hand went behind Ryou's head and pulled him down.
Bakura released the digit from his mouth to kiss his husband. Ryou crawled on top of Bakura, but it wasn't long before the yami rolled on top of his lover.
The yami settled between his lover's legs and grinded against him. “You are incredibly sexy, Ry. Have I told you that today?”
Ryou bit his lip as he felt his husband grinding against him. “Bakura, this isn't the best time. If Aten is out there, we should try to find him.”
Bakura chuckled. “We'll follow the signs. He will lead us to him.”
“But I don't want to follow a trail of corpses to my son! I don't want him to kill! I want him to rest.”
Bakura rested his head on Ryou's shoulder. “There's no rest for the wicked, love.”
“Aten is not wicked!” Ryou protested. “He is my son!”
“Now, now, Ry, no need to get all upset,” Bakura yawned.
Ryou pushed Bakura off of him and sat up on the bed. “Marik has to do the right thing. Malik can't talk to him at all. Malik can't even sense where Marik might be now.”
“So I take it you want me to track the bastard down, eh?”
“Bakura, Marik has to be found. Marik may know how to reverse his spell.”
“I don't think he'll reverse it, Ry,” Bakura said, laying on the bed.
Ryou took Bakura's hand gently. “Please find Aten and Marik, Bakura. I'm worried about both of them.”
Bakura looked into Ryou's chocolate brown eyes and sighed. “Alright. I'll see what I can find.”
Ryou smiled at him. “Thank you, Bakura.”
*******************
Robbie opened his eyes and saw Aten's familiar arm draped over him. Robbie looked closely at the flesh of his resurrected lover. The skin looked intact, along with the tan skin. Before his reanimation, there was no time for decomposition. The yami slept soundly behind him, preventing escape from the bed.
He needed to talk to Marik about Aten. His mind ran with questions. The living Aten was nothing like this new Aten. Would this new Aten hurt the baby in the other room? Would this new Aten turn on his family and hurt his parents? Why would Yami Aten be so forceful? He had encountered Yami Aten while his body was alive and even then, the yami was never as forceful as he was the day before.
He heard someone knocking on the door downstairs and the yami opened his eyes, startled.
“Someone is here.”
“Maybe Bakura sent Marik over here,” Robbie said.
Yami Aten's arm moved and his hand began to pet Robbie's hair lightly. “Now what business would you have with my father, my pet?”
“I…wanted to give him something. He forgot to take something after your funeral.”
Yami Aten chuckled. “You've always been a bad liar. Fine. Go.”
The yami rolled off the bed and Robbie shifted out of bed. He grabbed his cane and limped out of the room.
He heard the door open downstairs and heard his father's voice.
“May I help you, officer?”
“May we come inside, Mr. Morgan?” a gruff voice asked.
Robbie slowly walked down the steps to see two policemen enter the house.
He saw the two policemen stand in the living room as his father disappeared into the kitchen.
“Is anything wrong, officers?” Robbie asked.
“We need to speak to your parents.”
Miranda and Daniel walked into the living room with their cups of coffee. “Can I help you, gentlemen?” Miranda asked.
The two officers removed their hats. “Are you relatives of Vera and Katherine Christenson?”
Miranda nodded. “They are my sister and mother. Why?”
“There's been an incident at her home.”
Miranda sat down on her couch. “What kind of incident? Is my mom okay?”
“We are sorry to inform you that your mother has been found dead at her home. Your sister is currently missing.”
Miranda covered her mouth as tears welled up in her eyes. “Dead? My mom is dead?”
Daniel sat beside his wife and put his arm around her supportively. “What happened?”
The one man turned and faced Robbie. “The details may be too gruesome for a minor to hear.”
Robbie shook his head. “I'm not a minor. What happened to them?”
The one officer ignored Robbie's presence. “We found her body in her bedroom. The coroner said that every bone in her body was shattered. We haven't found evidence of a murder weapon, but we know she was hit with some blunt object with force repeatedly.”
Miranda put the coffee cup on the table in front of her and turned to her husband, crying on his shoulder.
“Did you find any evidence of who it was?” Robbie asked.
The officers shook their head. “We found footsteps in blood, but the perp didn't leave any evidence other than that.”
“You didn't find my Aunt Vera at all?” Robbie asked again.
“No. We have dogs out there searching for any evidence. There was a part of the garden that appeared to have been dug into recently, so we have people working on it now. The butler found your mother, Mrs. Morgan.”
Robbie looked upstairs and swallowed hard. Aten was gone for a long time yesterday and knew he was furious about his statues being broken.
“Did your mother have any enemies, Mrs. Morgan?”
Miranda shrugged. “I don't know. We hardly talked at all.”
“When was the last time you saw her?”
Daniel looked up at Robbie. “Robbie and I saw her when she broke into our house and began destroying my personal property.”
Robbie nodded. “Yeah, she broke into our home and we kicked her out.”
“When was that?”
“Two or three days ago,” Daniel replied.
“Why did she break into your home?”
Robbie sighed. “She disapproved of the relationship I had with my deceased spouse.”
“Do you have any other family who should be notified of her death, Mrs. Morgan?”
Miranda shook her head. “I don't speak to anyone in my family.”
“I see. Okay. We will continue our investigation into this and keep you updated as to what we find. If you find your sister, please let us know at the precinct.”
Robbie slowly walked up the steps as his father let the officers leave. He limped into his bedroom and shut the door behind him.
“You killed them, didn't you?”
Yami Aten laid on his back and a grin appeared on his face. “I left no evidence.”
“You left footprints! How could you kill them?”
“Simple. I took the Scepter of Ra and I shattered every bone possible,” Aten said with a grin.
Robbie gripped the handle of his cane tightly. “That's not what I meant!”
Aten narrowed his eyes. “They deserved it. They broke my statues, so I broke them.”
Robbie glared at Yami Aten. “Where is Vera?”
“I gave her what was coming to her. Vengeance has been served.”
“I didn't like them either, but that was no reason to kill them, Aten!”
Yami Aten glared at Robbie and stood up slowly. He slowly approached Robbie until he was looking him in the eye. Their noses touched as Aten began to growl at Robbie.
“Watch your tone, little boy.”
Robbie swallowed nervously, looking into those threatening, dark eyes. His hand began quivering as he held onto the cane. “Aten….killing…is not the right way to get revenge.”
Aten chuckled. “Are you going to stop me, Robert?”
Robbie felt his entire body shaking under the intimidating glare. “Well, they kind of deserved to die, but still that's not right.”
“Now they burn, Robert. They burn in their own private hell. They have paid the price for their cruelty towards me. Let us not also forget what they wanted your fate to be.” Aten raised his hand and curved his finger like a talon. “They wanted you cut into tiny pieces, ripped apart, murdered in your mother's womb. They wanted your brains to be sucked out of your skull. They. Wanted. You. Dead.”
Robbie stepped back, his back against the door. “Who are you? The Aten I knew would never kill in cold blood.”
“I am Yami Aten. You know me. You have spoken to me. You….You have taken me.”
Robbie sighed. “Yami Aten, I love you like Aten, but I don't approve of your actions! What you did to me yesterday was wrong! What you did last night to my aunt and grandma was wrong!”
“I was too weak in life to see that those who have sinned against you suffered the consequences. They have paid for their transgressions in blood now that I have returned. Life no longer holds me back. I am immortal. I am strong without the chains of mortality wrapped around my neck.”
Robbie reached out and put his hands on Aten's shoulders. “Please don't kill anymore. You may be immortal, but I don't want to see you damned.”
Yami Aten looked down. “It's too late, Robbie. I'm already damned.”
Robbie's eyes widened as he heard Aten's old voice. The yami's growling, deep voice had been replaced with the soft, quiet voice of his living body. “Aten, is that you?”
Robbie gasped as the yami pulled him close and started to shake. He wrapped his arms around his resurrected lover and held him tightly.
“Aten, I love you. I care for you. I don't wish to see you in pain.”
“There is no pain,” the soft voice whispered. “Only……wrath.”
Robbie was pushed against the door as the yami's eyes blazed in anger.
“I do not need your pity! I am stronger now than I have ever been and I am not going to be weak ever again!”
Heaven began to cry in her crib.
Yami Aten stepped back. “Go deal with her.”
Robbie limped out of the room, rubbing the back of his head. He walked to her crib and picked her up gently. He changed her diaper and carried her downstairs to feed her.
Miranda was sitting at the kitchen table, staring into her cup of coffee. “I can't believe she's dead, Robbie.”
“I know,” Robbie said preparing some formula. “I didn't expect that at all.”
Miranda looked over at Robbie. “Did you tell Aten she smashed his statues?”
Robbie warmed the formula as he looked at his mother. “He came to me asking about his statues. I told him that she broke the statues.”
Miranda's eyes went wide. “Do you think Aten killed her?”
Robbie took a deep breath. “He did kill her, mom…and Aunt Vera.”
Miranda looked up at the ceiling. “Are you serious, Robbie Allen?”
The teen nodded. “He told me he did it.”
The mother sniffled and began to cry harder. Her son walked to her and hugged her tightly. His mother quivered in his arms as he hugged her.
“Why…?”
“Because she smashed his statues.”
The baby sat in her high chair sucking her thumb until the bottle was given to her.
Robbie sat beside his mother. “I don't think it's totally Yami Aten upstairs, mom. I heard Aten's voice…our old Aten's voice. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen when the ritual was done. I'll have to tell Bakura about it. I'm going over there after Heaven finishes her breakfast. I have to see if Marik is back yet.”
“For the first time since I've known Aten, I can honestly say that I'm scared to death of him.”
Daniel sipped his coffee. “Don't worry, Mira. I won't let him do anything to us.”
“I don't think he'd hurt you, mom. If he does get out of line, call Bakura or Ryou. I'm sure one of them could bring him back to some kind of sanity.”
Heaven sipped from the bottle hungrily as she watched Miranda.
*****************
“Any luck, sister?” Malik asked, watching the news. He looked over to the table and saw Isis examining a book intensely.
“Altering mortality to immortality is near impossible, brother. Odion and I have to find the answer. Blood has already been spilled last night and the first victims have been claimed.”
Malik's eyes widened with surprise. “What do you mean by that?”
“Yami Aten has already caused bloodshed. We must stop him before he claims more lives.”
“Who did he kill?”
Isis shook her head. “Robbie will be visiting soon. He will inform us.”
“Tell me, sister!”
Isis raised her eyes and looked into the amethyst orbs of her brother. “Katherine and Vera Christenson.”
“Who the hell is that?”
“Robbie's grandmother and his aunt. We've met them before, remember?”
Malik's jaw hung low. “Aten killed them?”
“In most disturbing ways, yes.”
The television flashed with breaking news coverage. [The missing body of Vera Christenson has been found. Police officials say that the body was found in a shallow grave near the home. Police still have no leads regarding the killer. If you have any information on this case, please call the Domino Police Department. The killer remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.]
“We have to find Aten,” Malik said.
“Robbie's here.”
A knock sounded on the door and Malik stood up from the couch. “I wonder where Marik is.” Malik opened the door and found Robbie standing there. “Rob, come in. We heard about your grand-.”
“Don't worry about it. Is Bakura here?”
Malik looked up the steps. “He's upstairs with Ryou. He came home blood-drunk. So much so that he fell against the door.”
Robbie winced as he stepped into the house. His free hand went to his hip and began rubbing it. “Ow. Dang it.”
“Are you okay, Robbie?” Malik asked.
Isis shook her head. “I'm sorry to say Robbie will bear the repercussions of Marik's decision.”
Robbie nodded. “I know. But, I still think part of our old Aten is alive. That is what I came to tell Bakura.”
“I'll go get Ry and `Kura.” Malik ran up the stairs.
Robbie limped to the nearest chair and propped his cane against the wall. “Isis, is Marik around?”
“Aten's father has not been seen.”
Robbie sighed with disappointment. “I really need to talk to him. As much as I wanted Aten back, I was happy he was at peace. He was dead. I think Aten came to accept that death was imminent.”
“Marik, overcome by emotion, mourned his son's death. He could not bear to live without his son. He would not listen to reason. Now, everyone could be in danger.”
“Can you take me to the Shadow Realm?”
Isis' eyes widened. “Why would you want to go there?”
“I want to see Marik for myself. Maybe he is there.”
“He could be anywhere, Robert.”
Robbie sighed. “Maybe someone can answer the many questions I have.”
“Such as?”
“How did Aten become resurrected?”
Isis smiled. “An old ritual, an ancient spell, older than the yamis themselves. From long, long ago, it was hoped rituals would return the dead to the living. The spells and magic were used for good….and greedy purposes. Yami used the magic for greed and intimidation. One way to get revenge on someone you hate is forcing them to live forever, never dying, a never-ending existence.”
“That's awful.”
Isis nodded. “Bakura will die. Marik will die. Their journey is almost over.”
“How will they die?”
A small smile crossed Isis' lips. “The way they never died before: peacefully.”
“Will they be killed?”
“My Necklace shows me only so much, Mr. Morgan. I am sorry.”
Malik, Ryou, and Bakura rushed down the stairs. Robbie looked up as he saw them approach.
“Robbie, are you alright? Have you seen-?”
Robbie nodded. “Yes, Aten's been with me. He murdered my aunt and grandmother!”
Ryou gasped. “Oh no! Has he hurt you?”
Robbie shook his head and avoided Ryou's eyes. “No. But I came to ask Marik why he did this.”
“Good luck, Robert. We can't find the fucker anywhere,” Bakura groaned.
“I think our old Aten is still within Yami Aten!”
Bakura raised an eyebrow. “What makes you so certain?”
“When Yami Aten became emotional, the old Aten I knew seemed to appear. He began to shake and he hugged me. He hugged me the way he used to hug me,” Robbie's head lowered as he looked at the ground longingly. “Gently.”
“And Yami Aten reappeared?”
Robbie nodded. “He threw me back and said he didn't need my pity. If Aten's physical body is dead, how come our old Aten reappeared?”
Bakura scratched his head. “Ishtar must have done the resurrection spell incorrectly. That's the only explanation I can think of.”
“But if he did the spell wrong, it would not have worked,” Isis said. “It was something else.”
Malik snapped his fingers. “I got it! Aten didn't have his complete body when Marik did the revival spell! Joey had Aten's liver right after Aten died!”
“Is Aten at your house?” Ryou asked.
Robbie nodded. “Yeah, he's at my place.”
“I want to see him.”
Bakura stepped in front of Ryou. “Are you crazy?! He'll tear you to shreds!”
“He's still my son,” Ryou said calmly.
“Ryou, I cannot guarantee your safety,” Bakura said.
Ryou nodded. “I know, but he is still my boy. Let's go, Robbie.”
***********************
Yami Aten heard the door open to the Studio. When he saw his white-haired mother, he stood up, his Scepter of Ra clutched in his hand. “Welcome.”
“Aten, my son, what have you done?” Ryou asked sadly.
“I have served justice on people who deserved nothing less than torture and agony.”
Bakura stepped beside Ryou. “I can appreciate that, but how could you hurt Robbie, those who have stood beside you and supported you? That is not what being a yami is about.”
Aten grinned, his canines sharpened. He slowly stepped toe-to-toe with Bakura. The two yamis locked threatening gazes. Bakura reached slowly to his chest where the Millennium Ring should have been hanging. The Scepter of Ra leaning against Aten's shoulder began to glow with a crimson light.
“It likes bathing in blood. It has had its fill last night.”
“The Aten I knew never would have slaughtered people needlessly,” Ryou said.
Yami Aten looked down at his mother. “I am not the Aten you knew. I am Yami Aten, born from the weakness of the flesh and I will take my pound of flesh.”
“But, murder?”
Yami Aten's lip curled in disgust. “Yes.”
“What about Robbie, Aten?” Bakura asked. “He's always been with you. You two have been together all your lives. How can you-?”
“That is none of your concern, Bakura,” Aten growled.
Bakura narrowed his eyes. “You better bet your ass it is my concern! You don't beat the hell out of people who have always treated you with compassion!”
“You're one to preach about that. My mother loved you and all you used to do was beat him mercilessly! Now you stand before me preaching to me like you are some kind of bloody saint? The blood on my hands is nothing compared to what soils yours!”
Bakura clenched his fists tightly. “That was before-.”
“Keep making excuses, Father Bakura. They do not work with me. Maybe I should fuck you up,” Aten glared, poking Bakura with the Scepter of Ra's jewel. “Maybe I should rape you until you bleed out your eye sockets. That would hardly pay you back for what you've done to my mother.”
Ryou put his hand on the Scepter and lowered it. “Aten, no. Don't put a hand on him. I have forgiven him. That is something I believe you need to learn.”
“Forgiveness? For raping you? For starving you? For terrorizing you? For beating you for his own personal entertainment?”
“I am not like that anymore, Aten! I am a different person now!”
Aten returned his threatening glare at Bakura. “You are still capable of the same cruelty.”
“People change.”
Aten laughed. “People don't change. My father is living proof.”
“Your father loves you.”
“I had almost completed my journey to Osiris! I was ready to cross the threshold into paradise when I was ripped, torn away! You can't tell me that's not selfish!”
“Your father thought you were being hurt in the Shadow Realm from what I understood from him,” Bakura said.
“My grandmother extinguished your candle, Aten!”
Aten narrowed his eyes at Bakura. “My father is dead!”
“Well, of course he is, so am I,” Bakura said with a casual shrug.
“My father will pay for what he's done.”
Ryou reached out for Aten, but the yami growled. Ryou quickly withdrew his hand. “Your father meant no harm, my son.”
“He will explain himself when I see him next. In the meantime, I must pay a friendly visit to someone close to my heart, my twin.”
Ryou swallowed nervously, knowing Aria's situation. “Aten, Aria is busy with preparing for the new baby.”
“I'm sure she won't be so busy as to celebrate her brother's return,” Aten said as he casually walked to the door of the Studio.
“Aten! Don't hurt her!” Ryou called to him.
Bakura narrowed his eyes and darted from the room.
“Don't worry, mother. I know she's just dying to see me.”
***********************
Aria leaned down and kissed Kai on the cheek. “Have a good nap, sweetheart.” Aria smiled down at the two little boys settling down for their nap. In the other room, the phone began to rang. She left the boys' room and closed the door behind her.
She walked into the living room and picked up the phone. “Hello?”
[Aria, this is Seto. I'm calling to let you know that Joey is going to be released tomorrow.]
“Oh, that is wonderful news! I'm glad it went well.”
[How are you feeling?]
Aria rubbed her stomach as she felt the baby moving. “I'm waiting for her arrival any day.”
[I would like to see you at KaibaCorp.]
“When?”
[Are you available now?]
“I don't know if that is a good idea, Seto. What if we get caught up in memories again? What if the past interferes again?”
[I tried to fight them off, Aria.]
Aria looked down with a heavy sigh. “I know. It's getting hard to do.”
[Please come over.]
Aria looked at the closed door to her sons' bedroom. “Okay. I'll be there.”
Aria replaced the phone on the receiver. Umi would return from fishing in less than an hour. He and Robbie had planned to spend some time together. Umi was concerned about Robbie and losing the only person to whom he had loved. The boys would be in the care of their father. By the time they would wake from their nap, their father would return. Aria scribbled a quick note to Umi stating she was going to KaibaCorp. Aria grabbed her purse and walked out of the door.
*************************
Umi walked through the front door of their boat-home. “Little Mermaid! I'm home!”
No response.
“Hello?”
Umi opened the bedroom door and saw his wife absent. “Where did she swim off to?” Umi checked in the kitchen and scratched his blue hair. “Are you hiding, my little guppy?”
Umi looked on the living room table and saw a note: `Sorry, Umi. I went to KaibaCorp. Joey is returning home tomorrow and I guess Seto is feeling a little lonely. Have fun with Robbie tonight. Love, Aria Kanika Itemri Bat Bakura.'
Umi sighed. “Here I wanted to show her my catch for today. Oh well. I'll show her later.”
Rhett's whimpering could be heard coming from the bedroom. “Daddy? Mommy?”
Umi opened the bedroom door and Rhett and Kai looked up at their father. “Hello, boys. We're going to see Uncle Robbie today. Cousin Heaven will be happy to see you, too.”
Kai looked around. “Where's mommy?”
“Mommy went to KaibaCorp. It's just the three of us tonight.”
Kai smiled up at his father. “Can we see grandma and pop-pop?”
Umi chuckled. The thought of Bakura as a grandfather was entertaining. With Bakura being immortal, he hoped he would live long enough to see Bakura as a great-great grandfather. Considering Bakura's age, it was surprising the yami only had one child. If Bakura was three thousand years old, he would be old enough to see three thousand generations of his family.
“I don't see why not. Let's get you ready, little minnows.”
Umi helped the boys change clothes and drove them to Robbie's home. When they arrived, Robbie was sitting outside, his knees pulled tight against his chin.
Robbie's blue eyes rose when he saw Rhett and Kai run for him.
“Uncle Robbie!” the boys exclaimed as they ran into him.
Robbie chuckled as two sets of small arms wrapped around him. “I'm getting attacked with hugs!”
“Get used to it, Rob. Kids will do that. That is, until they get older and they don't want to spend time with you anymore because you're not cool.”
“We've got a few years left before that.”
Umi walked up to Robbie and crossed his arms. “You look like hell. What happened?”
“Where's Heaven?” Kai asked excitedly.
“She's inside, boys. Go tell Aunt Miranda to get her ready for our walk.”
Umi opened the door and the two children rushed inside. Umi closed the door and sat beside his friend. “What happened to you?”
Robbie took a deep breath. “Aten is back.”
Umi chuckled uncomfortably. “No, Robbie, that's not a very funny joke.”
“It's not a joke, Tsunami. Aten is back and he's not the Aten I knew.”
“What do you mean `back?'”
Robbie groaned as he straightened out his legs. “Marik did a spell to resurrect Aten and it worked, but I don't think it worked all the way.”
“How so?”
“Yami Aten…he….he killed my grandmother and my Aunt Vera.”
Umi's eyes widened. “Are you serious?”
“When Yami Aten became upset, the old Aten showed himself. I didn't believe it myself when I saw him at first. I didn't think it was possible.”
Umi shrugged. “Well, it has to be. Look at Marik, Yami, and Bakura. They're dead, yet alive.”
“I want to talk to Marik about it, but he's been missing. Nobody has seen him.”
“So if Aten is around, can I talk to him?”
Kai opened the door and pushed Heaven in her stroller. “Ready, daddy!”
“Rhett Tsunami! Let's go!”
The little boy ran out of the house and stood beside his father. “Ready!”
Robbie grabbed his cane and the railing, but could not push himself up. He tried again, but he couldn't put pressure on his foot. Umi grabbed Robbie's arm and helped him to his feet.
“Getting old, Rob?”
“No, my hip and foot are not feeling very well.” Robbie walked beside Umi as Kai pushed Heaven in the stroller. “He's not here, Umi. I don't know where he went.” Ryou and Bakura came over here to talk to him, but I had to take care of Heaven. When I got back downstairs, they were gone. Mom didn't know where they went. According to her, Bakura flew out of here like a bat out of hell and Ryou not long after.”
“What did they say when they heard he came back?”
Robbie shook his head. “Ryou's not enjoying the idea of—this particular person-as a killer.”
“But, we've seen it, Rob,” Umi said, putting a hand on Robbie's arm. “We've seen what he can do.”
Robbie nodded. “I know. That worries me more than anything. In his yami state, he is capable of dishing out unbridled torture and pain.”
“I still have many things to tell him. I want to see him again.”
“You may be surprised to see such a difference. He's not the same person we knew.”
Rhett ran to Malik sitting outside. “Uncle Malik!”
“Hey! Kiddo! What are you doing here?”
Rhett smiled wide. “Daddy and Uncle Robbie are walking with us! Do you want to come, too?”
“No, I'm waiting for Grandfather Marik to come home.”
“Is he going to get you ice cream?”
Malik chuckled. “I highly doubt he is getting ice cream.”
“Daddy, can we get ice cream?”
“Can we, daddy?” Kai chimed in with his brother.
Umi sighed. “We'll see.”
“That always means no,” Kai pouted.
“Let me know if he comes back, Malik,” Robbie said.
Malik nodded. “I will!”
“Did Ryou or Bakura come back?”
Malik shook his head. “I saw Bakura running down the street. He looked like he was in a hurry. Ryou said something about Aria and left just as quickly.”
“Aria? What about her?”
Robbie bit his lip nervously. Would Yami Aten go after Aria? Would he be cordial to her or would he be a threat to his own sister? Would he turn on his own blood?
“Do you think Aria could be in danger?” Robbie asked.
“I don't think so. Aten wouldn't harm his sister.”
`Aten wouldn't….but maybe Yami Aten would,' Robbie thought.
Umi took out his cell phone and dialed Aria. “I better check on her to make certain.”
[Hello, Umi. What's up?]
“Are you okay?”
[Yeah, why wouldn't I be?]
“Have you heard from your parents?”
[Mom called me and he asked if I was alright and I told him yeah. What's going on?]
“Have they told you about your brother?”
[Mom said that Father Marik brought him back from the dead. Yes, he told me.]
“Just be careful.”
[I will, I will. I can handle my brother. Mom said he and father were on their way to see me. I told them I'd be okay.]
“Are you at KaibaCorp?”
[I'm on my way, yes.]
“I love you, Aria.”
[I love you, too, Umi. I can handle myself. Tell the boys I love them.]
“If you need me, Aria, you call me right away.”
[Alright. Love you, Umi.]
Umi closed the cell phone. “Aria's alright. I had to check in with her.”
“If Marik shows up, Malik, can you ask him to come over to my place? I'd really like to talk to him.”
“No problem, Rob. Talk to you guys later.”
Umi and Robbie continued to walk, following Kai pushing Heaven. Rhett bent down and grabbed a flower with a smile. He handed it to Robbie. Robbie took the flower with a smile.
“Thank you, Rhett.”
The little boy smiled and picked another flower and handed it to his father. “Daddy!”
“You are so cute!” Umi smiled, scooping up his son and kissing him on his cheek.
Robbie looked down at Heaven and saw her looking up at the clouds. “I wonder what she sees.”
“Well, well, if it isn't fag-boy and his new lover!”
Robbie looked up and saw Eric and Rhonda standing in front of them. “What do you want?”
Eric chuckled. “You found yourself a new butt-buddy, Morgan? He's a cute one.”
Umi narrowed his eyes. “'Cute?' You call me `cute'? You must have a crush on me, then, Eric. I'm sorry, I don't go for the mongoloid-looking types.”
Eric growled and clenched his fists. “What did you say, Tsunami?”
“I'm sorry, Eric, but I can't make that sentence any simpler to understand. It's too bad you have the vocabulary of a two year old.”
“I oughta punch you right in the teeth, Tsunami!”
Rhonda looked down at Heaven. “Taking your little whore out for a stroll, Morgan? You'd be better off walking her to the trash heap because that is where she belongs!”
Robbie's lip trembled in fury. “What if the one you're pregnant with now is like her?”
“Then I'll do a better job of getting rid of it. Won't we, Eric?”
Eric nodded. “I'll make sure we dump it in a place where nobody will be able to find it, especially not a retard like you, Morgan.”
“Wow, and I thought I saw a lot of pond scum during my voyages at sea! You guys take the prize when it comes to scum.”
“You're mean!” Kai said, looking up at Eric.
Eric laughed loudly. “And what is a little shrimp like you going to do?”
Kai stuck out his lip and glared at the tall teen. “I'm gonna use you as bait for the big fishies!”
“Good luck with that, kid,” Eric chuckled.
Rhett ran behind Umi's leg and peeked out from behind. He looked up at Rhonda and Eric with unease.
“Kai, we can't use him for bait for the big fishies. He would give them indigestion because he tastes too bad. If he's with Rhonda, he's probably give the fishies syphilis.”
Robbie giggled.
“What's syphilis, daddy?”
“It's when your naughty part gets sick,” Umi chuckled.
Kai pointed at Eric. “You have something wrong with your penis! Ha Ha!”
Eric reached for Kai, but Eric was quickly brought down to the ground by a blow to the head. He looked up rubbing his head and saw Robbie holding onto Umi with one hand and the cane in the air.
“Go near him and I'll hit you again!” Robbie threatened.
“You did it now, Morgan!”
Robbie glared at Rhonda. “If you don't want to join him, you'd better run!”
Rhonda reached down and grabbed Eric. “You don't have the guts!”
Eric stood up, rubbing his head. “You're a dead man now, Morgan! You're next on the Crusaders' list!”
Eric and Rhonda walked away. Umi turned to Robbie, concern obvious in his face.
“Rob, that's not good.”
“I couldn't let him hit Kai.”
“Eric is part of the Crusaders! Have you heard what they are doing lately?! You could be in real danger now!”
Rhett looked up at his father. “Up!”
Umi reached down and brought Rhett into his arms. Rhett wrapped his arms around Umi's neck and snuggled against him. “Don't worry, Rhett. He's gone.”
“Let's just continue our walk, okay?” Robbie asked.
*************************
Aria walked into Seto's office and closed the door behind her. Her long, spiky, white hair flowed behind her as she walked. Her very pregnant belly stood prominently in front of her. She walked up to Seto with a smile as she placed her purse on a chair in front of his desk.
“Hello, Seto.”
Seto smiled in return. “Hello, Aria. You're looking very pretty, as always.”
“Yeah, I look like a beached whale. I'm surprised Umi hasn't harpooned me yet.”
The couple chuckled as Aria sat in a chair in front of Seto's desk.
“I'm glad Joey comes home tomorrow. This place is too quiet. With Mokuba and Jeanie not living here anymore, it's too quiet.”
Aria nodded. “I thought you liked being alone.”
“I thought I did many years ago until I brought an abandoned puppy into my home. Then I realized that I enjoyed its company.”
Aria smiled. “I always enjoy Umi's company.”
“I was so used to people living up here. Mokuba lived up here with Joey and I. then we had Hayden for a while. Now, they're all gone. I'm lucky to still have Joey.” Seto paused and looked out of the window. “I wouldn't have him either if it weren't for your brother's sacrifice.”
“He was going to die anyway. I don't think Aten would have minded. Aten wanted to give Joey his liver.”
Seto turned to Aria and nodded. “A sacrifice that was not in vain.”
Aria rubbed her belly and shifted in her chair. “My mother has informed me that Father Marik has brought Aten back from the Land of the Dead. He told me to be careful of him.”
Seto's jaw dropped and his eyes widened. “What? Are you serious?”
Aria nodded. “Marik hasn't been seen by anyone since he did the ritual. Mom said that Father is going to look for him in the Shadow Realm.”
“How is he?”
“Father? He's doing well.”
“No, Aten, I mean.”
Aria looked up at Seto. “I don't know. I haven't spoken to him at all. I haven't seen him or anything. Mom told me to be careful, saying that Aten wanted to see his twin.”
Seto approached Aria and cupped her cheek in his hand. “Are you sure you're ready to see him?”
“Yes, mother seems to think that I could be in danger, but this is Aten. He would never hurt me.”
Seto kneeled beside Aria and put his hand on her belly. “I don't want anything to happen to you. You're too important to me.”
Aria smiled at him and ran her fingers through his short brown hair. “I will be fine. I can take care of myself.”
Seto looked at Aria's belly as the baby moved. “I can feel her.”
Aria smiled. “She is active. The boys were never this active.”
Seto leaned down and kissed the large belly. “She is a very special girl.”
Aria smiled, kissing Seto's forehead. “She has a very special father.”
Seto lifted his head and pressed his lips against Aria's. Aria opened her mouth to allow Seto's tongue to gain entrance. Seto's hand continued to lightly caress the pregnant belly.
The girl whimpered into the kiss as the CEO kneeled between her legs. Aria wrapped her legs around her lover, grinding against him.
Seto moaned into the kiss as he bucked against her suggestively. His hand slid slowly up her skirt and continued to rub the baby bump. Seto kissed down Aria's jaw and her neck.
“Oh god, Seth, don't stop,” Aria moaned.
Seto kissed down Aria's exposed breast, grinding against her slowly and rhythmically. Seto removed Aria's shirt and removed a breast from her bra, sucking lightly on the nipple. The pregnant girl whimpered and grinded herself against her lover.
“I love you, Seth,” Aria moaned, enjoying the petting given her. Aria reached below and rubbed the front of Seto's pants. “Please….”
Seto continued to suckle on Aria's breast, thrusting his hips against Aria's petting hand. Seto's tongue flicked against Aria's nipple, making it perk.
“Feel our daughter between us, my love?”
Seto moaned as he steadily thrust against Aria's hand, his body becoming hard with need. He reluctantly pulled himself away from her and stood up. Aria reached for Seto's pants and removed them slowly. He blew air on Seto's weeping member and made him shudder.
As warmth surrounded the CEO, he moaned. He looked down and saw his Egyptian queen, large with child, swallowing around him. He gripped the desk behind him as he slowly thrust into her mouth. He removed his shirt and tie, giving his own nipple a pinch. Seto thrust into Aria's mouth, his body begging for release.
Aria's tongue licked beneath it, letting it stroke the CEO's base. The man bit his lip as he continued to thrust.
Aria stood up and pressed herself against Seto. Seto kissed her deeply and turned around. He helped her sit on the desk. “What do you say we rock our baby girl to sleep, my lord?”
Aria spread her legs as Seto began suckling on Aria's nipple again. She moaned as she felt Seto slip into her deeply. She bucked against him, arching her back. Aria thrust against him, feeling Seto bury himself as deeply as possible.
“Oh god, Seth. Please….”
Seto thrust inside Aria, making the girl whimper. She wrapped her legs around Seto, burying himself even deeper inside her. Seto's instinctual thrusting overcame him as he sucked on his lover.
Aria bucked against him, whimpering and moaning as Seto thrust into her harder. “That's right, Seth. Rock her to sleep.”
“I remember when we made her.”
Aria smiled as she bucked against Seto. “When she is born, maybe a boy child will be next.”
Seto looked into Aria's brown eyes. “Next time?”
Aria smiled. “I want you to give me more children, my lord.”
Seto moaned and kissed Aria deeply. He wrapped his arm around to her back and thrust quickly inside her. Aria whimpered and moaned with the impact of Seto's thrusts.
“Please, Seto, don't stop.” Aria rocked against Seto as the CEO thrust deeply, pounding into his lover. “Don't stop. Deeper, my lord!” Aria laid back on the desk as Seto thrust vigorously into her.
“Gods, Aria! Don't move! Let me make love to you!”
Seto grabbed Aria's hips and thrust into her hard. “I love you, Aria! Take every inch of me!”
Aria screamed with every penetration. She went limp, allowing Seto to slam into her wetness and do as he pleased.
“Seth!” Aria gasped as she tensed.
“That's my good girl,” Seto moaned, thrusting into Aria deeply.
Seto bent over, supporting himself with his hands and continued thrusting into Aria deeply, unable to stop himself. “Aria, I'm going to-.”
Aria locked her legs around his hips, pulling him hard against her and deeper. “Give it to me!”
Seto grit his teeth as he released hard into Aria.
“Leave it in!” Aria moaned, bucking against Seto.
Seto smiled. “That's what you said before,” he said, slowing his thrusting pace.
Aria returned the smile. “I couldn't ask for a better father for my baby.”
The doors to the office flew open and two glowing red eyes appeared, as well as a glowing Scepter of Ra.
“WHAT IS THIS?!” Yami Aten exclaimed.
Seto stopped and turned his head behind him to see the furious yami behind him. “Aten?!”
Aria looked around Seto as her eyes widened in surprise. “ATEN!”
“Get your hands off of my sister!” Yami Aten growled as the Scepter of Ra's crimson color flooded the dark room.
Aria gasped as Seto was thrown into the wall by an unseen force. She sat up quickly as her yami-brother approached the fallen CEO. “Aten, stop!”
Yami Aten reached down and grabbed Seto by the hair. He picked up the wincing, disoriented man and sneered at him with contempt. “What you have done is punishable by death!”
Aria ran to Yami Aten and grabbed his arm. “You will not harm him!”
Aten backhanded Aria across the face, making her stagger backward. “I will not take orders from a common harlot!”
Seto saw Aria's hair spike and her canines sharpen. “Aria! The baby!”
Yami Aria grabbed Yami Aten's hair and yanked back forcefully. Aten dropped Seto and grabbed Aria's hands.
“How dare you call me a common harlot!”
Yami Aten elbowed his yami sister under the arms, making her stumble to the side. He quickly turned and held up his Scepter towards her. “This man should be sentenced to death for what he has done to you!”
“This is none of your business, Aten Bakari!”
Yami Aten chuckled. “And here I was excited to see my pregnant twin because I was concerned about her welfare. All I found was a little whore cheating on her faithful husband.”
“Aten, it's not what you think!” Seto exclaimed.
Aten growled as he turned his head. “Oh, really? So you are telling me when I walked in and found you fucking my sister, I saw the two of you just sitting down having a friendly game of poker? Is that what I saw, Seto Roka Kaiba?”
“Aten, Seto and I….we-.”
“I can't believe that you would do this, sister. How could you?! Umi loves you!”
Aria stepped back as she heard Yami Aten's harsh, combative voice turn somber. “Aten?”
Yami Aten staggered back and lowered his head. Much to Yami Aria's surprise, Yami Aten fell to one knee. She stood her ground as Karl ran into the office. He gasped when he saw the naked Aria standing in front of a figure that resembled Aten.
Karl removed his firearm and pointed it at Yami Aten. “FREEZE, ASSHOLE!”
“The world I have returned to is no world for me,” Aten whimpered, shaking his head.
Seto stood up, rubbing his head. He put up his hand. “Karl, put the gun away.” He approached Aten from behind. “Aten? Is that you?”
“You stay away from me! Both of you! May you both be happy with the personal hell you have created for yourselves!” Yami Aten walked silently past Yami Aria and glared at her.
“Aten, you don't understand!”
Yami Aten stopped and turned to his yami-sister. “I have nothing to say to you.”
“You will someday and when that time comes, I won't want to listen to you anyway!” Aria screamed after him.
Yami Aten walked out of the room, leaving tears in Aria's eyes.
“Aten…come back,” Aria sniffled. “Aten?”
Aria ran to the door and looked down the hallway. Aten had disappeared. She turned and walked slowly to the desk. “Seto, I'm sorry.”
Seto looked at Karl. “Get out of here.”
“Yes, sir!” Karl saluted before rushing out of the office.
Aria slipped her dress over her head as she felt pinching in her stomach. “Seto, I don't feel so good. Maybe I should go.”
“Just relax. Let me get you some water.”
“ARIA! BABY GIRL!”
“ARIA!”
Ryou and Bakura ran into the room, their long, white hair flying behind them. They stood on either side of Aria and saw how pale their daughter had become.
“Why are you two here?”
“We called Karl to come check on Aria if she had made it here yet,” Ryou said.
Bakura's batwing twitched as he sniffed. “He was here. I can smell him.”
“Who?”
“Aten was here, wasn't he?” Bakura glared, reaching for the hilt of his dagger.
Seto nodded. “He just left.”
“We heard Aria was coming here and Robbie told us that Aten has not been acting himself.”
“Tell me about it. He seemed downright bipolar when he was here.”
Aria leaned over as she began to cry. Ryou leaned down and hugged his daughter. He pet her hair and kissed the top of her head. “It's alright, sweetheart.”
“Mom?”
Ryou pet Aria's head. “Yes, baby girl?”
Aria gasped. “It's time.”

Rhonda walked into the basement, Mr. Barnes telling her that his son wanted to see her downstairs. She saw Eric downstairs sifting through his father's collection of handguns.
“If you're looking for the little silver one, you're too late. Your father's taken it and is using it tonight.”
Eric grinned as he removed a small pistol from the shelf. “This is perfect.”
Rhonda crossed her arms and leaned against the stairs. “Perfect for what?”
Eric aimed the unarmed pistol at the wall and pulled the trigger. “For killing Robbie.”
