(Enter Mai and Nurse Shizuka)

M: Nurse, where's my son? Go find him.

S: I haven't seen him lately (walks out) Ryou? Ryou!

(Enter Ryou)

R: What?

S: Your mother wants to see you.

R: Hey mom, what is it?

M: I remembered your birthday is coming soon. It will be your 14th, a good age to be looking for a lover.

S: How long is it until then?

M: Two weeks

S: Hmm… it seems it wasn't long ago he was just a child, when I took care of young Ryou until he could stand on his own. Then his father decided to take custody of him. It didn't go over too well though.

M: It doesn't matter anymore, back to the original matter.

S: Yes, lady. It just seems so amusing that he's grown so fast. I always hoped I would live to see him married.

M: That's the idea. So, Ryou. What's your opinion on marriage?

R: I never really think about it.

M: Think about this. A lot of your friends are already paired up. I seem to remember I was married about your age. I also found someone who wishes for your love, Bakura.

S: Oh, wow. I'm sure you'd like him. Quite the handsome boy.

M: I haven't seen anyone who would fit you better. What do you think? Tonight, I'm holding a party and you can check him out. I'm sure you'll like what you see.

R: Alright, fine. I'll see if he's as good as you say, and I'll tell you if I like him.

(Enter servant)

S: Everyone's here and dinner is served. The decorations are perfect.

M: Thanks, we'll be there soon.

S: Go ahead, Ryou. Good luck.
