Okay… Chapter 2: Surprise!

 

`I'll never pass the stupid exams we have today…' Yugi sighed. It was the Thursday morning he was dreading. Their school had their midterm exams. (hehe I really did have exams today…they are EVIL…yeah anyway, back to the story!) Yugi was rushing down the hallway to get to his first block class, English. While he was running he failed to notice the figure in front of him stop and Yugi crashed right into him. “Are you alright?” asked the boy. Yugi looked up to see the new boy from yesterday and immediately blushed, “I'm fine, I'm really s..sorry I ran into you.”

“It's no problem, honest, my name is Yami, and it's very nice to meet you Yugi.” His smile was very kind and he had a sort of grace about him that other people didn't seem to have these days. Yugi got up and dusted himself off. “Um… if you don't mind me asking, how did you know my name?” He was in fact very curious about that. He was sure they hadn't met before. Yami's voice shook him out of his thoughts, “I know a lot about you Yugi, I volunteered to come here… to protect you.” This confused the poor boy even more. “To protect me? From what exactly?” All of a sudden the bell rang and Yugi turned around to look at the clock that said, 8:14. “I'm sorry but I have to-…” he turned back around to see that Yami had disappeared. Yugi walked a little ways down the hallway to see if he could see him anyway but there was no such luck. `That was really strange, and it only confuses me more…' he thought solemnly. The tardy bell rang and Yugi bolted to class.

`You know you'll have to tell him sooner or later' a voice whispered. `I know Rehema…' responded Yami as he slowly made his way to his first class.

 

 

 

ARGH!

I have to stop here… I'm in school right now and I'm about to be late!
