Chapter 1- Reunited

"Hurry now Yugi! Or you'll be late!" Grandpa was in the kitchen making Yugi a quick breakfast.

"Coming Grandpa!" Yugi rushed downstairs, ate his breakfast, and hurried to school.

Yugi had walked to school ever since he started school. Today had started the same as any other…..however today was different. While he was walking, Yugi saw a girl dressed in a school uniform. She looked around Seto's age. Yugi had never seen her before.

[Who is she?]

"Hey Yug!" Joey and Tristan were sitting at their desks when Yugi walked into class.

"Hey guys!" Yugi sat down in his desk and stared out the window. He was wondering about the girl he had seen earlier.

She had long black hair that went down to her waist. Her eyes were a misty purple. And around her neck, she wore a rustic purple crystal. Yugi couldn't help but think that she was kind of cute.

After school, Yugi walked home with Joey and Tristan. All day Yugi could only think about that girl. But he had never seen her again. However to his surprise, when he arrived at the Game Shop, he saw her hugging his Grandpa.

"I've missed you so much! How have you been?!"

"I have been fine, my dear. Are you ok?" Grandpa stared at the girl with a worried look on his face.

"I'm fine Grandpa. Really I am!" The girl met Grandpa's eyes filling his worried eyes with happiness.

[Grandpa!?]

"Ahhh, Yugi, you're home. How was your day?"

"Fine Grandpa. But……ummm…..who's this?" Yugi had a puzzled look on his face.

"Who cares who she is, Yug. She's HOT!! And that's all I need to know!" Joey whispered in Yugi's ear. Both Joey and Tristan had drooled over her ever since they got to the Game Shop.

"I'm surprised you don't recognize her. It's…..Yana, your …….sister."

[My sister! What! I have a sister!]

"It's been a long time little brother. Very long." Yana giggled at the boy's dumbfounded faces.

"Yes very long, sister. But why are you coming to me now?"

"Yugi! Is that anyway to treat your sister?!"

"No Grandpa. I'm sorry Yana."

"No problem, Yugi!" Yana smiled at her little brother.

"I have an idea! Let's have a get-together in honor of Yana and Yugi! Everyone is invited!" grandpa had a sly grin on his face.

"That sounds GREAT!" Everyone said at once.

That night everyone was having fun! Even Bakura and Seto!

"Hey everyone, this is Yana! My long lost sister!" Yugi giggles.

/Yana? /

{Seto?}

"Hey everyone!" Yana was introduced to everyone and everyone welcomed her.

"Hey Yami…Is something wrong?" Yugi looked at his yami with a worried look.

"No, everything is fine, Yugi. But thanks for worrying." Yami smiled at his little light.

(She seems so familiar. Not just her face but I can sense a familiar power coming from her. Why is this?)

"Yana is it really you?" Seto looked at Yana.

"Yes, Seto it's me!" Yana plunges on the couch next to Seto.

"I never knew Yugi was your brother?"

"Yeah he is. I thought I told you about him?" Yana put her arm around Seto's waist and rested her head against his chest.

"Maybe you did and I just forgot." Seto smiled and put his arm around Yana, holding her tight.

"Well you two get along VERY well!" Bakura was standing in front of them with a sly grin.

"Oh GODS, Bakura! Of course I know her! We practically grew up together and if you must know we dated. Happy?!"

"Oh really?! Well then that explains a lot." Bakura laughed and walked away.

"That bastard! What nerve!"

"Calm down, Seto. He didn't know and he was just curious." Yana smiled at Seto and stared into his icy blue eyes.

"You're right, Yana. I'm sorry." Seto kissed Yana's forehead. Yana always knew how to keep Seto under control.

Yana and Seto were awakened by a crash coming from Yugi's room.

"What's going on in here?!" Yana rushed to Yugi's to see Joey on the floor. Yugi and Tristan were laughing hysterically.

"Joey fell of the bed, Yana! But he's ok." Yugi smiled at his worried sister trying to comfort her.

"Why the hell did you fall off, Joey?" Yana looked at Joey and was totally confused.

"We were playing duel monsters and I lost. I leaned back, thinking there was a wall behind me, and fell! But I'm ok."

"That's Joey for you." Seto looked at Yana, who couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey, Yana, I got to go and check on Mokuba. See you tomorrow, ok?"

"Ok Seto, see you tomorrow." Yana showed him to the door. Just before he left, Seto gently kissed Yana's soft, sweet lips. Yana blushed.

{See you tomorrow Seto, my Seto.}

Joey, Tristan, and Bakura left soon after Seto did. Grandpa had gone to bed and Yugi had fallen asleep on the couch. Yami lifted Yugi to his bedroom and laid him on his bed.

"Sleep well, my light." As Yami was walking down the hall he peered through Yana's open bedroom door. She was sitting in front of her mirror, brushing her soft, smooth hair. However, Yami quickly went to his room so he wouldn't disturb Yana.

(Look at her so pure and wondrous. Why is she making me feel like this.)

"YANA!!" Yugi quickly ran to Yana's room.

"What's wrong Yugi?!" Yana turned from her reflection to see her little brother standing in the door way, shaking.

"It ……it ……..it seemed so real! So awful!"

"What was Yugi?! Tell me" Yana ran to Yugi and held him close.

"The nightmare……I had a nightmare!" Yugi looked up into Yana's lovely purple eyes.

"It's ok Yugi. I'm here, I'm here!" Yana saw the fear in Yugi's eyes, which almost made her cry.

"Can I stay with you tonight, Yana?"

"Yes Yugi, of course you can!" Yana went over to her bed. To her surprise a single white rose lay on her midnight colored sheets.

{Who could it be from? It must have been Seto, trying to surprise me. *giggles*}

She picked it up and put it in a vase on her nightstand. Then she pushed the covers aside and lay down, Yugi next to her. She wrapped her arm around him pulling him close. Yugi could feel her warm breathe sweeping across his neck. He felt safe, safer than he ever has before, and soon fell into a deep and dreamless sleep.

{Goodnight my little one}

[Good night Yana. Good night Grandpa and Yami.]

Joey: Ouch! My head hurts! I think I have a bump there now!

Joey: Well we all know you feel loved Yana! *laughs*

Yana: NOT FUNNY, WHEELER! * gives him and evil look*

Yugi: Here we go again! Oh well.
