Fire: Hey everyone! Sorry this chapter took so long! I had some major writer's block AGAIN!

Yana: What have you done to me!?

Fire: *stares at the ceiling* Oh nothing.

Yami: *sarcastic voice* Nothing indeed.

Yugi: You're so evil!

Fire: I'll take that as a compliment!

Yana: You would.

Yami: Do I even want to know how this chapter will be!?

Fire: Maybe, maybe not! *snickers*

Yugi: That can't be good!

Seto: I guess we're just going to have to take our chances.

Yana: Well you can say that Seto because nothing is happening to you!

Voice: When can I be in it?!

Fire: Later now shut up!

Seto: Who was that?

Yana: *tries to look innocent but that's just not possible* Oh no one.

Yana walked slowly down the hallway to her locker and entered the code, 030390. As she was placing her literature book inside, she looked at her reflection in the small mirror.

{I've only been here for a week and I'm already busy with tons of school work! And to make matters worse my friend sighed me up for the yearbook committee! I already do cheerleading and I'm the captain of my soccer team, isn't that enough?! Besides from all that, I have to take care of Yugi after school until Gramps returns home from his trip. Thank gods Yami is always there when I need him!}

After a long day of high school, Yana walked down the hall towards Yugi's classroom. Most of the boys in Yugi's class had a crush on her and Yana found it funny. When she finally reached the door, she knocked on the doorway.

"I'm here to pick up my brother."

"Come in Yana. He's at his desk talking with his friends."

"Thank you Miss. Hino." Yana walked towards Yugi's desk. Yugi was playing duel monsters with Joey again. He always plays duel monsters with his friends, mostly Joey though. However, every time Joey dueled Yugi, Yugi always won.

"Come on Yugi, it's time to go."

"But Yana, we're almost finished." Yugi gave Yana the puppy dog face.

"No buts Yugi. I have to open the shop in less then 15 minutes! Why don't you continue the duel there? I think I still have Seto's old dueling disks he gave me after the Battle City tournament."

"Ok, sure! Get ready to loose Joey!" Yugi looked at Joey with determination in his amethyst eyes.

"I'm ready when ever you are Yug!" Joey returned the same look of determination at Yugi.

"Ok then, let's get going!" Yana started to walk out of the classroom, Yugi and Joey following behind.

"Bye Miss, Hino! See you Monday!" Yugi waved good-bye to his teacher as he tried to keep up with Yana's fast pace.

"Good-bye Yugi! Have a nice weekend." The brown haired teacher smiled as she watched her students race down the hall.

<<How are things going? Is the Pharaoh cooperating? >>

<Better than you think! >> Yana sat on Yami's bed, the Pharaoh's head resting in her lap. Yana was dressed in a black slinky dress with black leather knee-high boots, and black elbow-high gloves with open hands. Her long midnight colored hair tied up in a high ponytail.

<<What did you do?!>>

<I did what I had to do. I used my Millennium crystal to create a mind illusion inside his head. He won't be waking up for a long while.> An evil grin slid across Yana's face. Yana had used her ancient magic to create an alternate reality in Yami's mind. If something should happen to Yami in this dream world, the same thing will happen to him in the real world. This was Yana's plan all along, to make Yami's deepest fears come to life and make him wish he would die!

<<Perfect my Goddess of Darkness. The Pharaoh's reign will end very shortly. >>

<Indeed it will.> Yana placed her hands on the sides of Yami's head and continued to toy with Yami's mind.

Yana, Yugi, and Joey finally arrived at the game shop. Yami stood in the doorway waiting for them. His hands folded across his chest and a smirk across his face.

"It took you long enough. What kept you?" Yami pulled Yana close to him, kissing her softly.

"Yugi was dueling with Joey again, and you know how he is in the middle of a duel." Yana looked at Yami with her deep purple eyes. Yami could tell she was tired.

"Why don't you take a break? I can tell you're tired from school."

"But I have to…"

"No buts Yana. Yami, Joey and I can handle running the shop. After all I helped Grandpa run it before you returned home." Yugi looked at his sister with that puppy dog face of his.

Yana couldn't help but give in this time. "Ok, ok! I'll go upstairs and take it easy for a while. Call me if you need me!" Yana went upstairs, her heavy backpack weighing her down.

"Poor Yana, she's only been here for a week or so and she already is drowning in homework!" Yugi felt sorry for his sister. He looked at Yami, almost telling him to go upstairs and see if she's really ok.

(I'm going Aibou. Don't worry) Yami headed upstairs.

[Thanks Yami!]

(No problem Yugi!) Yami reached the top of the spiral staircase. He saw Yana sitting on the couch, doing her homework.

"So this is what you call `taking it easy'?" Yami walked over to the couch and sat beside Yana.

"I just have so much work to do and so little time to do it." Yana rested her head on Yami's chest. Whenever he was near her, all of her worries seemed to vanish.

"You push yourself too much. You need to stop and breathe sometime." Yami wrapped his arm around Yana, pulling her close, and lifted her chin, gently kissing her soft, pale red lips. But before the kiss could go any further, the phone rang.

Yana rushed to the phone and picked it up. "Hello?"

"Yana….," It was Mokuba, his voice sounded shaky." He… he's gone."

"Who's gone Mokuba?" Yana eyes filled with panic as she could hear the younger boy crying on the other end.

"Seto….he…..he hit me and then just …… left. You have to help me Yana."

"It's ok Mokuba I'll be right over." Yana tried to sound calm so she wouldn't scare the young Kaiba, but in her head she feared the worst would happen.

As Yana hung up the phone she looked at Yami, who could see in her eyes that something wasn't right.

"What's wrong Yana? What happened?" Yami got up from the couch and walked towards Yana.

"It's Mokuba, he said that Seto hit him and then just left."

"What?!" Yami looked a little dumbfounded.

"I'm going over there to find that out now." Yana grabbed her keys and started to head down the spiral staircase.

"I'll go with you." Yami started to follow but stopped when Yana told him to stay.

"You have to stay here and help Yugi. I won't be gone long." Yana rushed through the door passing Yugi, and going straight to her Audi TT.

"What's going on Yami?" Yugi looked at Yami with a confused look.

"Mokuba called and he sounded scared, so Yana is going to his house to see what's wrong." Yami tried not to sound worry, he knew better than to worry Yugi.

Yana pulled her car up to the front gate, as a guard, dressed in an all black suit, walked up to her car. "Please state your business."

"I'm here to see Mokuba." Yana gave the guard an almost foul look.

"You may enter." The guard entered in the combination on the gate lock and opened it.

"Thanks!" Yana drove up the long driveway before pulling up to the huge front doors. She knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

"Good evening Miss Motou." An older man opened the door.

"Hello Mr. Keimo. Can I come in? I need to talk with Mokuba."

"Of course child." He let Yana enter and led her to the study.

"Thank you Mr. Keimo." Yana whispered so she wouldn't startle Mokuba.

"You are very welcome, Miss Motou." Mr. Keimo silently walked back down the hall to his normal spot by the door.

"Mokuba?" Yana whispered as she slowly walked to the young boy sitting on the floor.

"Yana!" Mokuba quickly got up and wrapped his arms around Yana's waist. "I was so scared!"

"It's ok Mokuba. I'm here, I'm here." Yana kneeled down so she could be eye to eye with the tear glazed gray eyes. "Please Mokuba, tell me what happened."

"Seto had come home at 7:30 like every other day." Mokuba sniffled a little. "And as usual I went to go greet him but he ……" The young teen paused for a moment.

"It's ok Mokuba you can tell me." Yana's deep purple eyes met gray. Then she slowly led Mokuba to the couch, so they could continue their discussion.

"Well he..." Mokuba reluctantly continued." He seemed kinda stressed. So I asked him if he had a good day. But then he started to get all mad and yelled at me. Suddenly he hit me and when he realized what he did, he ran off. No one knows where he went." Mokuba suddenly burst into tears.

"Poor little Mokuba." Yana pulled Mokuba close, so he could rest his head on her shoulder.

Mokuba looked up at Yana with a pleading look. "Can you stay here tonight? I don't like being alone."

"Of course I can, Mokuba." Yana found a blanket near the couch and wrapped it around Mokuba. The small teen had fallen asleep in Yana's arms. Yana finally began to doze off, falling into a deep dreamless sleep.

The next morning Yana awoke to the sound of an ambulance siren. She looked at the clock on the end table.

{Damnit! It's 10:00 already, I need to call Yami to see how things went at home.}

Yana gently lifted Mokuba's head, trying not to wake him, and placed it on a pillow. Then she went into the hall to call home. However, as she walked towards the phone, Mr. Keimo came up to her with an urgent message.

"Miss Motou, I have an urgent message for you from home! Mr. Yami is on line one."

Yana press the 1 button one the phone and picked up the receiver. "Thank you Mr. Keimo."

"Yana?!" Yami sounded extremely worried.

"Yami, what's wrong? Are you ok?!" Yana began to panic once again.

"I'm fine but……..Yugi, he's … he's in coma."

"What?! No Yugi! Please no!" Yana felt like she would die at that moment and dropped the phone.

"Yana..." Yami kept repenting her name until he finally hung up and grabbed his keys, and rushed to Seto's house.

(Please Yana stay with me. I can't loose you too!)

Yami got through the guards with no problem and drove up to the front door where Yana's Audi TT was parked. He quickly parked the car and rushed inside the huge mansion doors.

"Yana?!" Yami cried out to Yana.

"She's in the living room, Mr. Yami." Mr. Keimo was standing by the door waiting for Yami to come.

"Thank you!" Yami rushed down the hall towards the grand living room. When he reached the doorway he couldn't believe what he saw. The once lively deep amethyst eyes were now cold and bleak.

"Yana?" Yami sat beside Yana, who was cuddled up on the couch, and wrapped his arms around her.

"Why? Why Yugi? Why not me?!" Yana began to cry, she could take it anymore. All she wanted at that moment was for her life to end!

~Reality~

Yana got up from Yami's bed and grabbed the dagger on his nightstand.

"Now Pharaoh it is time to say good-bye!" Yana let out an evil laugh as she positioned the dagger to pierce Yami's heart.

~In the Yugi's room~

Yugi awoke to a bright light shining in his room.

"What? Huh?" Yugi placed his hand on his forehead to block the light from getting to his eyes.

"Yugi." A serious yet almost calming voice radiated from the light. Then, suddenly, a figured appeared. It was a young lady, she almost looked liked Yana. She had dark chestnut hair that reached her waist with two white highlights on either side of her dreamy face. She had the most beautiful dark turquoise eyes that Yugi had ever seen. However Yugi could see sorrow in the depths of her eyes. She wore a long, flowing white gown that made her have a heavenly appearance.

"Who….who are you?"

"My name is Yeira; I am the spirit that dwells inside the crystal."

[The crystal?] Yugi thought a moment. [Wait! Yana wears a crystal around her neck! It must be a millennium item!]

"I come to you know Yugi Motou to warn you about your sister."

"Yana? Is she ok?"

"No Yugi. Your sister has let all her pain and sorrow take over her and now she be lost forever unless you can save her!"

"Save her? But how?" Yugi was puzzled he didn't know what the spirit was talking about.

"You must call to her, Yugi. You must save her from the nothing she has become. If you should fail you will loose both your sister and your yami." At that moment, the light faded and the spirit disappeared.

"Wait Spirit!" Yugi didn't know what to do but, for some reason, his heart was telling him to contact Yami.

[Yami? Yami wake up!]

Suddenly, Yami awoke as if he had been in a nightmare. He saw the dagger in Yana's hand and grabbed for it.

"Yana! Yana what are doing?!" Yami held back Yana's hand as she tried to stab him.

"What I should have done a long time ago!" Yana lunged for Yami but he quickly twisted her hand and the dagger away from him. As Yami gazed into Yana's deep amethyst eyes he realized something that he never thought possible. It was really Yana, she wasn't brainwashed or anything like that. Yana had chosen to do this, she wanted to die.

~Yugi's room~

Suddenly Yugi felt a sharp pain inside and at that moment he knew what Yeira had meant.

"YANA!!" Yugi rushed towards Yami's room next door and swung open the door.

He saw Yami holding Yana in his arms, rocking her back and forth. A dark crimson liquid was pouring from Yana's stomach. Yugi rushed to Yana's side.

"I…I…I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems … I forgot to open my eyes to everything. " Yana's voice was soft and shaky.

"Yana…" A tear ran down Yami's cheek as he held his dying lover. "Don't turn away!"

{I can't give into the pain! I know I can stop it if I just will it all away! I just have to will it all way!}

"Don't try to hide!"

{Though death is screaming my name!}

"Don't close your eyes!"

{Who knows what lies behind them?!}

"Don't turn out the light!"

{I never sleep, I never die!!}

"Please Yana, you can't leave me now! I need you, my friend, and my sister!" Yugi began to cry until his eyes would run dry.

{Fallen angels at my feet! Whispered voices at my ear! Death before my eyes! Lying next me I fear! Death beckons me shall I give?! Upon my end shall I begin, forsaking all I've fallen for I RISE TO MEET THE END!!! ….. MY SUICIDE!!!}

Yana's eyes turned dark as the dark shadow crept upon her.

"YANA!!!" Yugi screamed as he felt like he, himself, had died.

Then the same light appeared again, with the same voice and figure shimmering in its glow.

"You did all you could to save her Yugi but don't cry. It's not in your power to bring her back." The spirits voice sounded soothing to Yugi, but it still couldn't relieve the pain.

"I failed! I lost her!"

"No Yugi, you didn't loose her."

"What?" Yugi looked at the spirit, who was now completely materialized. "You…..You're alive."

"Yes Yugi. I am released from my crystal prison. Thanks to your sisters sacrifice."

"Yeira?" Yami looked at the spirit as, all of a sudden, some of his past memories came back to him.

"Yes my Pharaoh, my brother it is I." Yeira's once sadden turquoise eyes became lively again, just like Yana's.

"You're Yami's sister?" Yugi seemed confused yet, at the same time, knowledgeable.

"Yes I am. Like you are Yana's brother, Yami is my brother. That is why you and Yana were destined to find these Millennium items. It was your destiny!"

"But Yana's gone, along with her destiny." Yugi began to mourn again for the lost of his beloved sister.

"That's were you're wrong. Yana's not gone, her destiny still needs to be fulfilled!" Yeira kneeled down beside Yana and placed one hand over her crystal and the other one Yana's. "Wake up Yana, your destiny awaits you!"

Suddenly Yana's eyes opened and she reached out to Yami. She now had the knowledge of the past and present. Yana could now live her life again, the way destiny had planned it.

"I love you, Yami and I always will. And the same goes for you Yugi!" Yana smiled as Yami gently kissed her lushes red lips. Yana broke the kiss and looked at Yugi, who was hugging her tight.

Yana's eyes shimmered like amethyst gems, as the life of dawn rose through the window. "Now I know what it's like to see through the darkness!"

Fire: Yeah most likely! This time it's your turn Yeira!!

Yeira: Me and my big mouth!

Seto: You don't have that much of a big mouth! *glomps Yeira*

Yugi: I guess this is how they celebrate when they're done with a fic!

Yeira: We couldn't have done it without all of our reviewers and Dreamer!!
