Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Shades of Gray ❯ Shades of Gray ( One-Shot )
Shades of Gray
By Megumi, The Absconding One
Ever two, forever one
They are like the moon and sun.
One a shadow, the other, light.
One is black, the other, white.
Trapped by the hated, freed by the kind
A puzzle running through the smaller's mind.
The piece once missing now in place,
The mirror shows another's face.
A king of sorts, a monarch fierce,
Though through all the dark the light will pierce.
Amber melting into red,
A strange reflection of words unsaid.
A single card can change a game,
A deadly choice can be another's gain.
Innocence lost with a darker tone,
Neither shall ever again be alone.
Red and black, blue and white,
A falcon's eye cutting through the blood red night.
His symbol appearing upon yin and yang,
The sands of time running out again.
A ruler proud, a child small.
A thousand years isn't long at all.
Where darkness fell, the light will stay,
Their colors lie in shades of gray.
