Last chapter, the gang were in Los Vegas after Dartz had sent messengers to tell them that he knew where they were and he was coming from them. While Joey, Tristan, Tea, and Devilin were researching in the library, Seto and Yami/Yugi were in Seto's suite in a hotel. Mokuba came in and turned on the Tv which was showing the news. Suddenly, Dartz comes on screen and announces to 'your majesty' that her time was running out. It then goes back to the news where it's showing a rather large blue bird with a girl on top. She was staring intently at a huge TV screen outside in New York City. Then she flies off towards San Francisco where Dartz told her to go.

Seto just stared at the screen. He was shocked. And he actually showed it.

Mokuba: Um, big brother? Are you okay? It's just a VERB commerical.

Rebecca: So what do you think that big bird thingie was? Do you have any idea, Yugi, darling? My grandpa gave me a book about mythological creatures and I'm sure I saw it in there.

Yugi: Really? What's it called?

Rebecca: Erm, I'm not quite sure, but I it's a cross between a dragon and a phoenix. The dragon's massive size and color, but the form and shape of a phoenix. I heard they can also revert to a smaller form but this form is just when they're carrying something.

Yugi: Do you have the book with you?

Seto: There's no time to figure out what that thing is! I don't care about some large overgrown blue jay! We have to get to San Francisco right now. I want to save my image and you want to save your friends don't you?

Yami: Yes, you're right. Mokuba, Rebecca, stay here. I don't want Dartz to have any more advantage than he already does. Kaiba, call a jet and get us there immediately.

Back at the library, they were still unaware of the strange occurance and were trying really hard to find something that's not a story about a story.

Tea: Aack! If I open one more book, I'll just drop dead! While I'm fascinated, but all this is useless junk!

Devilin: Told ya.

Tea:*glares at him*

Joey: Guys! Down. I'm getting really worried.

Tristan: Why? Nothing's happened yet.

Joey: That's exactly it.

In San Fracisco

Dartz kneeled in front of a tablet in a dank, dark cave. He knew she heard his message and she would arrive. Soon, he thought, soooooooon.

Atop a building, the bird landed. Its rider got off and the bird took off again, flying above the clouds to remain hidden. The girl, Trinity, looked about and saw no one. She didn't feel like doing much harm today. Jumping down, she slowed down 3 feet from the ground and fell lightly. It was 10:58 PM. It had taken her nearly an hour to get here from New York. No one was really up on the street the she was on. As Trintiy was walking, she decided to sell off some of the jewelry she was wearing. While intricately designed and made of the finest stones, they were common where she came from and would be easily replaceable. Spotting a jeweler's still open, but she stepped in.

Jeweler: Welcome young lady, how may I help you?

Trinity: I want to sell some jewelry I have with me.

Jeweler: Sure! You've come to the right place. Why don't you show me what you have and I'll see if it's fit to buy.

Trintiy placed them on the counter. She saw his face go to amazement and then change to suspicion.

Jewerler: where did she get these? They are of superb quality and design. Did she steal these? Umm, one question. Where did you get these? I like to know a little bit of the history before I buy them.

Trinity: They were given to me by a friend. I now wish to sell them as I do not want to remember him anymore and these remind me of him.

Jeweler: How did he die?

Trinity: He's not dead. We just don't talk.

Jeweler: oh, yes well, that's terrible. But these will be worth quite a lot. How did he obtain these?

Trinity: His mother. She was really good at making these. She was gonna start a business but, she died giving birth to his brother.

Jeweler: What was her name?

Trinity was getting really annoyed now. He had no right to prod into her personal life and she was gonna make sure he knew it.

Trinity: Y'know what? Why don't I just take these and sell them elsewhere?

She didn't give him a chance to respond and just took them and left.

But she needed a place to stay. There was only one other option she knew of since she didn't have any money.

in chinatown, at an antique shop

Ding dong! Door opens, a girl screams and starts hugg-------er choking Trinity from a hug.

Jade: Ahhh! Tris!! I missed you soooooooooooo much!!! Where've you been? (yep, jade from jackie chan)

Trinity(aka. Tris): In my home, but pressing matters bring me here. Can I stay here for the night?

Jade: Well, no. Unless you wanna be all alone since Uncle and Tohru are in Japan and Jackie is at some archaeological dig. And I'll be going to Section 13 tonight.

Tris: You mean they actually hired you?

Jade: oh haha, very funny. Remember when I stole the talismans and Captian Black told Jackie I could become a spy with them? Well………..

Tris: OMG! He actually kept his word?

Jade: ya, kinda. But I still gotta finish school. But since it's the summer I came here. Oh! I know! Come with me to Section 13. I'm sure they would all be real happy to hear you sing and just to see you again!

in the library

They had left at 10:10 PM and went back to the hotel and to go see Yami/Yugi. When they got there, Mokuba told them that they had left for San Fracisco but they had to stay.

In the helicopter

* seto's thoughts *

No, she couldn't be back. I know she lived, but why would she return? She practically died at his hands. Of course she's not back. I've hacked into so many school computer systems and no record of her has been found. Maybe she's dead and had a private funeral. Or maybe she was murdered. Seto sbuddered at this thought Probably not. But that's not her. If it was, don't you think she would've called you? She knows I would talk to her anytime… But what if she doesn't? We never really did say good bye but still…. No, it's not her, Seto! But, Trinity, wherever you are, I miss you.

okay, end chapter. There was a little crossover between YGO and JC, but the plot won't center around JC. I just needed the magic stuff and Jade from JC. When Tris was talking to the jeweler, she was referring to Seto and he was thinking about her during the ride to San Fran. They ARE NOT in any relationship nor will they be. Anyway, to clear up his thoughts, well, she just kinda left after his stepfather tried and really almost succeeded in killin her. But I don't think the rating will change since I don't plan on going into extreme detail about that. Next time, they meet and you get to see how they interact! And remember to review!
