"Shadow of Me"

Ryou Bakura, age of fourteen, hurried to school. This was his first day of
school, his first time ever attending a public school. Most of his life he has
been home schooled. Not by his parents, because his mother is dead and his
father works as a archeologist. His father had hired someone to teach him at
home. Now he has moved to Domino, Japan. His father moved him into a apartment,
and decided to attend him into a public in school so he can invite friends over
so he wouldn't be so lonely.

He hurried into the building, clutching his schedule tightly in his hand. He
looked at it, and headed torward his first period classroom. Right when he
stepped in, the bell rung. He felt extremely lucky. The classroom was crowded,
and the only seat that was empty was a seat in the back corner. He walked back
there, taking a seat. He looked around nervously at all the other students.

"You're new here, right?" asked a boy to his right. He looked to the right
side of himself, seeing a boy with spikey blonde hair. Something around his
neck flashed gold.

'The Millenium Puzzle...' a deep voice whispered inside of Bakura's head. He
ignored it.

"Umm.. yeah..." Bakura replied, his voice obiviously showing his nervousness.

"My name is Yugi Mouto," The boy said in a very excited voice. "What's your
name?"

"Ryou Bakura, just call me Bakura," Bakura replied.

"Pleased to meet you!" Yugi exclaimed. "So, do you like to duel with cards?"

Ryou Bakura suddenly smiled to himself.

"Yes," Bakura replied.

"Want to duel after school?" Yugi asked.

"Sure, why not," Bakura said, then suddenly a menacing smile took place on
his face.

'I'd be honored to duel the ex-pharoah....' The deep voice whispered in
Bakura's head.

Once again, Bakura ignored the voice.

"Meet me after school in the school lawn, okay?" Yugi said.

***

Bakura stood in the school lawn, waiting for Yugi.

'The ex-pharoah's vessel looks like a damn queer' The deep voice taunted
Bakura.

'Who are you? Am I hallucinating?' Bakura asked his thoughts. He had heard the
voice to much, and decided ignoring it won't work anymore.

'I'm your yami.... your dark side... I'm Yami No Bakura.... I am the very
necklace that hangs around your neck.....' The deep voice replied.

Bakura ran his hands over his clothed chest, which lied a huge ring that hung
on a rope under it. He pressed it down, feeling the cool metal against his
skin. He shivered slightly. His father had gaven it to him as a present along
with a duel monster card. His father had even told him it's name was The
Millenium Ring...

Then how does Yugi got The Millenium Puzzle... or whatever it is.

"Hey, Bakura!" shouted a voice from behind him. He turned around, seeing Yugi.

"Hey, Yugi," Bakura replied. Suddenly, he got a horrible headache. He grimaced,
but he quickly covered with a smile.

'Don't resist me... let me take control... I'll take away your pain....' Yami
No Bakura said to him in his thoughts.

'Leave me alone...' Bakura replied.

"Let's head over to my grandpa's shop to play game." Yugi said, ushering Bakura
along.

"What kind of shop does he own?" He asked.

"Duel Monster shop," Yugi replied proudly. After about ten minutes, they
reached the shop. They walked inside, seeing a cheery old man.

"Hey, how do you do?" He asked. "Oh, I see you have a new friend! What's your
name?"

"Ryou Bakura," Bakura said.

'Stupid old man....' Yami No Bakura muttered in his head. He chose to ignore
the voice. Bakura suddenly felt the same pain as last time throb into his head.
He suddenly lost his breathe. He opened his mouth to scream, but nothing came
out. His world began to fade....

Ryou Bakura's looks began to change, his eyes grew dark circles around them,
the innocent spark of Bakura's began to fade. His wild white hair spiked up.
Yami No Bakura took control. He had a deep voice, so he tried his best to
disguise it as Bakura's voice.

"So, can we duel now?" Yami No Bakura asked, mimicking his vessel's voice. "In
your room? I don't like other people watching me duel..."

"Sure," Yugi replied respectfully, then he turned torwards his grandpa. "Sorry."

"It's okay..." His grandpa said cheerfully. "You two go have fun, okay?"

Yami No Bakura and Yugi headed torwards his room, going in and locking the
door. The tri-colored hair boy went through his drawers, pulling out a arena
map and his deck of cards. He layed it out all on the floor neatly.

Yami No Bakura sat by Yugi. He placed his hand on Yugi's thigh.

"Coming to seduce my host, thief?" said a deeper voice coming from the short
boy. He had turned into Yami No Yugi.

"No," Yami No Bakura growled, removing his hand from the other's thigh. "I came
to send your ass into the shadow realm by defeating you in a game!"

"I don't got time for your nonsense," Yami No Yugi snapped back. "Now, be gone,
and we will meet again in a more suitable enviroment... you know you're not
ready to challenge me, yet."

Yami No Bakura thought for a moment, snarling. Finally, he let his host take
back control over the body. Bakura gained control.

"Did I faint?" Bakura asked.

Yugi looked faintly and scaredly at Bakura, knowing that a evil spirit dwelled
in his friend. His yami had shown him.

"No, you must be imagining things," Yugi said. "Well, I'll let you go home, you
don't look so well."

"Okay," Bakura said, getting up and walking out the door. He didn't feel bad,
but maybe Yugi didn't feel like dueling or having company over. He walked up
the street to his apartment. He headed up to the door, unlocking it and going
inside. As soon as he stepped inside and close the door, he felt the spikes
that hung from one of rhe pendents of his necklace stabbed into him. He let out
a scream.

He quickly took off his school uniform top, then take the white shirt under it
off, and took the necklace off. It wouldn't come off because the spike stuck
into his chest. He pulled and pulled, and finally the necklace went tumbling to
the floor. He felt blood slide down his chest.

"This has to be some joke... that couldn't have happened by itself..." Bakura
breathed, holding onto the puncture on his chest.

Suddenly, the necklace began to glow. Then a transparent figure began to come
from it, forming into a person. He gasped. It was a person identical to him,
except the figure that formed from his necklace was taller, more built, spikey
hair, and dark eyes.

"You thought I was some hallucination in your head?" His identical figure told
him. "You're dead wrong. I'm your yami, and I'm come to take what's mine."

"What's your's?" Bakura asked, trembling.

"Hm.. let me think..." The other said, holding onto his chin. "You, of course!"

"W-who are you?" Bakura said, biting his lip.

"I already told you, but I'll you again anyways," The other said. "I am Yami No
Bakura."

"Why should I belong to you?" The original Bakura asked. "There's nothing you
can use me for."

"You're dead wrong," Yami No Bakura smirked. He stepped closing to his host,
cupping his cheek.

"W-what are you doing?" Bakura exclaimed. "Don't hurt me!" When Bakura felt
lips against his, his eyes went wide open. He pressed his lips together,
refusing to give entry for his other's tongue. He felt Yami No Bakura pull away
from the kiss, slapping him. It stung like several needles stabbed into his
skin.

"Did you think I was going to go all romantic on you!?" Yami No Bakura yelled.
"No, I'm not the love type, I just want some from you, baka host! Now,
defiance is unnecessary if you don't want to get punished worse."

Yami No Bakura pressed in for another kiss, quickly gaining access to the
other's mouth. He explored every crevice in his whimpering host's mouth, as
if he were sucking his soul out of him. After several minutes, Bakura began to
gag. His lungs begged for oxygen. Yami No Bakura finally pulled from the kiss,
his vessel breathing hard, need air.

"That's better," Yami No Bakura said, wrapping his arms around his vessel.

"Please don't make me kiss you again... please..." Bakura begged.

"Shut the fuck up!" The yami screamed, removing his arms from around his other
and punching him into the chest. Bakura doubled over, feeling like he was about
to faint from the lack of oxygen. Before he knew it, Bakura felt himself being
push onto his bed. He felt his yami climb onto of him, kissing his neck
lightly.

He arched his back in fear as he felt a hand run over his thigh. He shivered.
He was anxious and scared at the same time.

"Oh... you like that?" Yami No Bakura taunted his host, running his hand over
his private area. He growled, only feeling it limp. "Am I not attractive!?"

"I don't want to do anything," Bakura replied immediately.

"It's not about you, you stupid bitch, it's about me!" He growled angrily,
grasping onto his host's hair tightly, yanking on it. Bakura let out a cry.

'Faint... oh my god... please let me faint....' Bakura screamed in his
thoughts. Much to his dismay, nothing happened.

He suddenly felt something hit him in the head, which gave him what he wanted.
He fainted.

***

Bakura opened his eyes tiredly, his temple throbbing in pain. Images of the
past events popped up in his mind, making him scream.

"Who could be so cold?" Bakura asked himself. "I can feel his hatred feeding on
me now... like we have a bond. Why'd he kiss him? That was my first
kiss and it was a awful experience..."

'Get over it...' Yami No Bakura told him inside of his mind.

'No, no, no!' Bakura screamed in his thoughts. You think a simple forced kiss
would be nothing... but it was pain to Bakura. He even felt more awful when his
yami had touched his private area. He curled up, shivering. It was cold. He
felt something feeding off of his pain because it faded quickly as it came.
Must be his yami feeding on it, becoming stronger.

"Wait, how do I know these things... do I share thoughts with him?" Bakura
mused to himself. He then suddenly felt hatred inside him. A deep hatred. He
was torwards... Yugi? The hatred was horrible, making Bakura think of killing
Yugi. "No, I will not do it... he is my friend... my only friend since I've
gotten here!"

'You have no friends... no one cares about you....' Yami No Bakura said, and
then began to chant it. Bakura held back screaming, not wanting to give his
yami satisfaction. Unfallen tears began to burn his eyes, causing him to bite
his lips.

'I won't cry...' Bakura told himself.

'Yes, you will... you're weak and useless.... well, not completely useless....'
Yami No Bakura said tauntingly to his host. 'There is no escape for you, I
will soon gain all the Millenium items and send the damned pharoah to the
Shadow Realm...'

'Shadow Realm....?' Bakura asked his yami.

'It's a ancient realm that was created five thousand years ago... any loser of
a ancient duel is to be sent to the realm... it is impossible for any mortal to
live there over a period of time, but yamis such as me and Atemu can actually
live there...' His yami replied.

'Atemu?' Bakura asked.

'Damn, you ask too many questions...' Yami No Bakura growled. 'That was Yami No
Yugi's name five thousand years ago....'

'Yami No Yugi?' The host asked, his breathe taken away. 'Yugi has to suffer
with a yami, too?'

"Ha, you don't completely understand....' Yami No Bakura said. 'Atemu was evil
back in his days, killing my entire village to make sacrifices for the
millenium items.... when I was just a young child.... probably about the age of
twelve....'

'So, he is not evil anymore?' Bakura asked.

'No....' Yami No Bakura said. 'He forgot all of his memories, therefore
forgetting what his motive was... I used to be good, until he destroyed my
village... now I'm blood thirsty for revenge....'

'That is so stupid!' Bakura screamed angrily in his mind. 'You're taking your
anger out on me! I haven't done anything!'

'Shut the fuck up, you baka host!' Yami No Bakura snapped.

'No!' Bakura screamed. 'Your ruining my life over something that I didn't even
do!'

That was the last straw. Yami No Bakura emerged from the ring, and without
hesitation, he rammed his host in the wall, pinning him against it.

"What now, bitch?" The yami growled.

Bakura's only response was low whimper. Yami No Bakura grasped onto his
host's chin, pressing his lips against his, then suddenly biting them, making
his host cry out in pain. Yami No Bakura smiled, tasting the metallic taste
of Bakura's blood flow into his mouth. He backed off of Bakura, who had a
pained expression.

"I-I..." Bakura tried to say something, but clamped his hands to his mouth in
pain.

"No sorrys are going to help!" Yami No Bakura growled. "You might as well
accept your punishment and remember not to make the same mistake, because I'm
not going anywhere!"

Yami No Bakura changed into light going back into the necklace.

Bakura began to sob, sliding down the wall onto the floor. He pulled his legs
up to his chest, tears soking his jeans.

"He is the shadow of me...." Bakura whimpered to himself. "But, why me?"

'You were destined to find the ring.... to suffer... you deserve it.....'

Shadow of Me.
