She Who Solved the Puzzle

Chapter 4: New Ring Bearer. A Loving Squabble In the End.

Timeline: Two weeks after the puzzle was solved.

Place: School…. (I hate school.)

A young man was walking around campus as if he was looking for something or someone. He had white hair down past his shoulders, had brown eyes that screamed 'fear me' in them. He also wore a simple long white sleeve shirt with some blue jeans and regular tennis shoes. Everyone in school would never notice him…because they couldn't see him, till one day he was walking around and then…

BAM!

He walked right into someone causing HER to drop her books and belongings to the floor. She was an average height girl of 5'5 with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She wore a baby blue spaghetti strap and a white short skirt and sandals. As he looked over her from head to toe, she had a rather nice figure. 'Hmmm…Nice girl. Very nice…wait! She bumped into me! That means…'

"I' m really sorry I bumped into you." She bent down to pick up her belongings up frantically. The young white haired man was just staring down at her clothes then down her clevage. The girl took notice to this and she gathered up the rest of her belongings, made a quick blush, stared at him and slapped him good. What everyone else saw, was that she slapped air. Everyone just planed looked at her all-weird, but continued their business.

She went to go to the lunch area where Liz and her other friends hang out. Liz turned to her and smiled. "Hey wassup Hermana?" she asked. "Aye sup hermanita? I'm chillen cept' that I ran into this white haired fool and he looked down my shirt so I slapped him. And that just happened till now!" she was frustrated and set her books down on the lunch table. " You mean just now? But I didn't see slap anyone. You slapped the air! And you say I gone nuts…" Liz said in question.

"No I didn't. There was this white haired dude right in front of me! Are you sure?" she asked.

"Nah fool. I know I saw no body." She replied. "Andrea I think you just had an episode or something." Liz rationalized.

"Maybe you're right. I just don't want to sound like a lunatic." A bell sounded. "Well I'll see you later aight?"

"Yeah man. I'll see you later. Call me later though ok if you have another one." Liz just wanted to be sure of her friend's sanity.

"Don't worry I will. Bye." She waved and she picked up her books and left for her fifth period.

After that class was over Liz went home and left for her room. Yami came out and sat on her bed. "Your friend had gone fanatical today. What happened to her?" he asked.

" I wish I knew. But I gotta do my homework right now. We'll talk later ok."

"As you wish." Yami went to her living room and turned on the TV. //I just adore this machine. Don't we have to visit your friend later or meet her somewhere?//

Liz smiled. /I know you do. Ye, we going to her house later. Talk to you later ok. Oh look I just found my chain necklace. I can use that for the puzzle./

//Good. My puzzle being in your backpack for two weeks just didn't feel safe in there… But I was afraid that I was going to get yelled at if I said anything. Women are scary.// He laughed.

She laughed too, and then she cut the link off and went back to her homework.

Meanwhile…in another house.

Andrea was in her room doing homework and listening to her music on her stereo. She got up to put her book away in her backpack to get another one. Just when she turned around, she yelled and threw her book and landed on her bed due to fright.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" she immediately asked him. She turned only to see a guy that she slapped before.

"I have come for you. Apparently you are the only one who can see me. So that means that you are the one who must be the destined owner of the ring that I am cursed of being with held in." he turned taking a step towards her. " Listen to me woman, I need a body to hold this ring so that I may take physical form. This is your lucky day Missie so I suggest you don't leave me behind to wherever it is that you're going." He smiled evilly and disappeared. What he left off was a gold ring that was similar to a dream catcher. I had a 2D pyramid in the middle with the corners connected all around to the circle that was in. Then hanging on the its left to right and bottom were five gold cones that were hanging evenly apart. What she thought that was intriguing. "Oh my God. This. Is. All. A. Dream." She walks to the ring and picks it up. " Very pretty though. It would make a great necklace." She walks to her desk and goes back to her work. After she was done she, used a silver chain that she found to use to hang the ring around her neck. She put it on. She had a nervous look on her face when she tried something with this now spirit living in the ring.

\Uh spirit? \ She tried to communicate to him but there was no reply. She went and sat on her bed.'Hmmm…guess no one is home.' She thought. Soon after Liz came into her room. "Hey Liz."

"Wassup Hermana? Anything new since uh…since?" they both laughed. She walked over to her chair that was near her bed and sat on it. "Not much. Just finished my homework. What about you?"

"Oh nothing. Just got a new piece of jewelry." She showed her mini pyramid that was hanging around her neck. "Take it off." She asked. "Uh nah. I don't want to, to lazy." She responded. "Bitch. Well I just got a new ring." She picked up her ring that was hanging around her chest and showed it to her. Liz was just about to touch it when…

//Liz! Don't touch it! Wait for me. I'm coming out!// Yami said with caution. He came out in a flash that startled both Liz and Andrea. Andrea backed up to her bed while Liz just tilted her head back and closed her eyes. When she opened them, she found Yami standing next to her. "Uh…ok, Andrea don't be scared but uh…I got a Yami…" she twitched a bit and put her hand on Yami's arm. Yami was looking at Andrea with a fierce look. All of a sudden Her ring shined and they both shrieked while Yami was waiting not even having his eyes closed he waited for the light to dim and vanish. As it did it revealed the same man from before. He opened his eyes and looked at Yami with his eyes of anger then he smirked. " Well well Pharaoh. Never thought I would see you again let alone in the same timeline. Guess we were both doomed to the same fate." He laughed at him.

"Hold your tongue Tomb Raider!" He spat. He walked over to him and grabbed his collar and held him up in the air. "I was not doomed to his fate. I was merely sent here to retrieve the chosen one and go back to the past." He said as he dropped him on the floor. The white haired guy got up and Andrea got off her bed then went up to the ex tomb raider and put a hand on his shoulder. "Uh… see… I guess I got one of those 'Yamis' too…uh heh heh."

"Bakura, never have I thought I would see you again." Said Yami.

"Likewise EX-Pharaoh. Never thought it. First me in the ring then you in the puzzle. How sad!" He laughed and crossed his arms. Yami just had it. All of a sudden he just lunged at Bakura and they started fighting. Both Liz and Andrea had to break them up but they kept on squabbling. "Hey, hey now. Come on youngins'. Fighting is wrong and you should stop!" Liz was trying to calm Yami down while the same with Andrea with Bakura. "Come on! Stop it! If you guys wanna fight, go fight outside! I don't want you guys breaking anything in the house let alone in my room." She said. The guys just looked at each other and ran outside and begun to fight again. Liz and Andrea just stared out her window just watching them fight. "Caaaawwww mon." Liz said while Andrea rolled her eyes and followed Liz out to separate the two Yamis again. They went outside and tried to separate them again. Liz grabbed Yami by his arms and his jacket while Andrea was pulling on Bakura's hair and the back of his shirt. "Yami! What the fuck is your problem?! You just fucking trippin' on his ass for no reason? And what the hell do you go calling him a tomb raider for?"

"He stole that particular ring from my father's pyramid!" He pointed the ring around Andrea's neck. Yami got his composure together and wiped the dirt off his clothes. "Since he liked it so much, I simply sealed him into the ring for all eternity!" Yami crossed his arms and looked at him with eyes full of anger. Bakura was on Andrea's arm for support since he hurt his leg while they were fighting. Everyone just looked at him. "What?! It was some priceless shit! I wanted that ring for myself to sell in the black market. I wanted to make huge amounts of money!" He laughed. "Listen Bakura! You and me have to be on good terms. Especially with Yami and Liz! I know you don't like him but he's the only one from your time who actually know where you come from." Andrea said with authority. "You bitch! Who are you to tell me what to do!?" Bakura yelled. "I am your maker! Literally I am. Cause without me you cant have your own body now can ya?! That's what I fucking thought. Now I want to spend our first times with no shit to deal with,alright!? Good." Andrea concluded. "Bitch…" he whispered and disappeared into the ring. Andrea just looked triumphant for a while till she sank to the floor. "Whoa whoa Hermana…did this freak you our?"

"Well duh! Its not everyday you get this kind of shit!" she yelled. She got up and went into her room. 'So his name is Bakura. He's pretty cute but what an asshole!' she thought. Liz was just standing outside calling her mom to go pick her up from her house from her cell phone. "I hate him.." Yami said with a serious tone, still looking at the floor.

As soon as Yami vanished into the puzzle and Liz left, Andrea just breathed out and went to her room. She flopped down on her bed. "This is just a god damn dream….a god damn dream." She just lay there not even bothering to change into her pajamas and soon fell asleep.

\\ Keep dreaming bitch. Just keep dreaming.\\ you could hear Bakura snickering.

The next morning…

Andrea's beeping annoying alarm was sounding and she lazily hit the button to shut if off. "Hmmm…Just a dream. Good. ::yawn::" 'That guy was such an asshole! He doesn't know how to treat girls worth shit!' She got up, madder her bed and started to undress herself so she can get dressed for school.

\\ Not even a day and you're undressing yourself for me already!?\\ heard a voice in her mind.

She looked down and found out she still was wearing the ring around her neck. \So I it wasn't a dream! You fuckin' perv!\ Some how as if by instinct she blocked off her link with him. She continues to undress and gets into her bathroom that was in her room a door away. Moments later, she comes out with a towel around her with the most irritated face you can make. She dresses herself in khaki button shirt and shorts to match with white socks and brown boots. After she was done, goes to her kitchen and eats breakfast with her family. After she was done her mother took her to school.

She walked into her first period and sat in the back. All the guys turned to her with smiles and some nod their heads. \Well the guys seem to approve.\ she smiled and waved to some of them.

\\ Well why wouldn't they? You are dressed like someone who wants to be picked up off the streets!\\ Bakura laughed.

\Bakura please at least I'm letting you view what's goin on.\ she argued.

\\ Okay, if that makes you happy I'll shut up and look.\\ he sarcastically said.They stop talking as soon as class begun.

The class was getting boring and she started to look out the window staring off into space. After about what seemed like for eternity, the bell rang for the second class ready to begin in about a few minutes. This time it made her write like hell. \God damn! So much writing!\ She complained.

\\Don't be a wuss. Its just writing. I like to see you rob a pyramid just trying to get this millennium ring!\\

\Psh! You try understanding this class then!\ she fought back.

\\ Good point. I really don't want to be you right now!\\ He laughed at her.

\Shut. The. Fuck. Up.\ she smirked and cut the link off for a while till class was over.

Another bell rang signaling that it was break time. She goes off to her locker while trying to have a decent conversation with Bakura.

\So what do you think Bakura? Do you like school so far?\ she asked while getting some books and shutting her locker with a loud noise.

\\ No.\\

\No point in arguing. Everyone here just about hates it except for the teachers and smart people who like school.\ she rationalized. The next bell rang for the next class, so she left for it.

Again she sat in the back of the class, Bakura was once again noisy of his thoughts. \\When can we go home!? Its been hours!\\ he stated.

\ In a few more hours. Least you know the time system, I didn't feel like teaching you that. Too much effort.\\ she sighed.

\\I have known the system! If you must know I know a lot more things during the past time of history waiting for your bitchy ass to be born let alone find you!\\

\ Yeah that's all well and good. Now ya found me and you are going to annoy the hell out of me too! And I'm just gonna ignore that comment.\

A class later…

\LUNCH TIME! Yes! I'm starved!\

\\You're cheery for this time. What's so special?\\

\FOOD!\

\\Right…\\

After she has gone to the cafeteria, she went of to her hang out spot to find Liz and the rest of her friends.

"Hey Hermanita! Wassup?" She set her food down and started eating. Liz was standing next to her.

"Eh not much. Could be better." //Brat.//

/Shut up Yami…/ she argued with her now Darker half. She scratched her head and smiled.

"Still fighting with Bakura?" Liz whispered in her ear.

"Kinda. But I guess its for the sake of fighting." With that Andrea smiled.

"What about you and Yami?"

"I guess me and him kinda talk. We only argue when it comes to my 'sexuality' cause he still thinks I act like a fuckin' guy. I swear man he trippin'. "

"Well sometimes you do act like a guy and like what some other guys like. So he may have a point. Just convince him that you're still straight." She laughed.

"Ha ha very funny." /Ya hear that Yami! I'm straight and you know it! Keep making fun of me about that shit and no tv for a week!/ she threatened.

//Doesn't matter. Like I need it anyway.// she could tell that he smiled evilly.

//Jerk.// she smiled.

Moments later they both finished what they were eating and the bell soon rang. They both departed for their ways for their own classes. Soon the school day was over and both Andrea and Bakura couldn't wait to go home.

Andrea was walking home by herself toward home. \Bakura why don't you walk with me?\ she asked.

\\Because I don't want to. I'll get tired.\\ he shrugged her off.

\Damn you Bakura! Do something nice for me! Please…?\ she begged and put on her puppy dog eyes. Bakura could just feel the chill of it going down his spine.

\\Alright! Alright! Stop doing that! It really creeps me out!\\ Andrea looked around and hid into some bushes along the way. Later you could see a bright yellow light coming from the millennium ring and found Bakura next to her. They both got up and started to walk again in silence.

Andrea was looking pretty brave right now. 'He such a jerk! A perv! Its like I have to yell at him just so he can do something with me! But I guess that's what I find him so attractive. He'll do the nice thing later. He'll warm up to me later. But I'm gonna do something right now! Just to play around!' She turned her head and smiled to Bakura. He looked at her with anxiousness. "Woman what are you thinking!?" He demanded. She just continued to simile at him and kept walking with him. She looked straight ahead and Bakura was really starting to wonder.' What the hell is going on in that little mind of yours!?' he thought.

He soon found his hand starting to touch something. It clasped over his hand and it seemed to fit in between his fingers. He picked up his hand only to find a feminie looking one clamped on his. He was about to nag on her when she just smiled and used the puppy dog eyes again. He just laid out a huge sigh but never let go of her hand. They walked like that the rest of the way home. \Not bad first day together, huh Bakura?\ she laid her head on his shoulder. \\Keep saying mushy shit like that and our lives will be cut short.\\ Andrea just giggled at the last remark but understood quickly. \ To tough to admit ya like me. Don't worry I can wait.\ After that she just cut the link off and went off in silence.
