He let himself fall. Snowdrifts weren't nearly as soft as they looked, not with this snow, but his coat and hood cushioned him. Through his puffs of breath he watched the sky. It was still falling. He held out a slender hand above his face, feeling the cool air leech away the heat from his pale fingers. He brushed away a damp lock of white hair. Snow white, snow white, snow bright. He spread his arms and legs and brushed the top of the powder.

“Hmph. Baka no Yadonushi. You'll freeze, come on.”

Carefully, reluctantly, he rose and jogged a little to catch up to his shivering companion.

“And what, may I ask, was that about?” growled the other man, stubbornly refusing to stop walking while out in the frigid air.

He smiled softly. He had left wings, impressions in the snow, for anyone to see - to make up for the ones he, but no one else, saw on his companion.

Sharp eyes stared determinedly at the sidewalk and a blush crept up as though the other man had heard the thought. The muttered words were “Baka no Yadonushi,” but the pale hand that took hold of his said something else entirely.

I think I wrote “baka no yadonushi” right…

(In case you don't know, “baka” means “stupid” and “yadonushi,” which is what Bakura calls Ryou, is supposed to mean something like “landlord”.)
