Chapter 4! Sorry I didn't update yesterday. I'll be starting a new fic, when I'm done with this one!

The two girls walked over to the supermarket to get their supplies. “I'll get décor, and you can get food” Miho said.

 

“Sure, whatever” and with that they both went their separate ways. “Of course we'll need to have chocolate available, and those candy “Sweet Hearts” Anzu said, picking up a box filled with boxes of the tiny candy hearts. “I guess I'll get some heart shaped chocolates, chocolate truffles, and chocolate cake” Anzu went over to the baking department and picked out a chocolate Valentine's Day cake, decorated with all sorts of little hearts and such. She then headed of to the candy isle.

 

Meanwhile Miho went and got all sorts of pink and read curling ribbon, tissue paper etc. “Which looks better, the red or the hot pink?” she asked herself.

 

“Hey there Miho!” Jounouchi called.

 

“Hi Jounouchi!” said Miho.

 

“What's all that stuff for?” asked Jou eating a doughnut.

 

“What all this, nothing?!” Miho said quickly. “Hey buy the way, have you seen Yugi lately, I need to talk to him.”

 

“Uh, at school.” Jou answered.

 

“Hey you there!” came a booming voice, “Have you paid for that doughnut?”

 

“Who, me?” asked Jou.

 

“Yes you, have you paid for it?!”

“Well umm kinda,” the manager surveyed Jou, a quizzical look on his face. “Well actually, I haven't paid for it, yet, but I will, don't worry”

 

“How about you pay for it now”

 

Jou began frantically searching for his money, but didn't find any. “Uh how `bout I duel you for it?”

 

“I don't duel, just give me the money!”

 

Miho secretly handed Jou enough money to cover the doughnut. “Okay, uh, here you go!” Jou handed the manager Miho's money.

 

“Thank you” and with that the manager handed Jou his change, wich Jou then passed to Miho.

 

“Phew, that was close, thanks a lot Miho!”

 

“You're welcome!” Miho answered, just then Anzu walked up.

 

“Okay, you ready Miho?” Anzu asked.

 

“Yup, bye Jounouchi!” Miho called.

 

“Bye Bye!”

 

“What were you talking to Jounouch for?” asked Anzu.

 

“Oh, I was just wondering wether he had seen Yugi lately.”

 

“Oh, why?”

 

“No reason” Miho answered. “It's getting late, we should get home” she added, checking the time on her watch.

 

“Yeah, but I don't think I'll be seing you Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, I have two big tests that I have to study for.” said Anzu.

 

“That's okay, see you Friday!” and both girls headed home.

 

Anzu greeted her parents as she walked in the door, then hurried to her bedroom. She reclined on her bed, and thought about Yami Yugi, it was hard not to think about him, with Valentine's Day approaching and all.

 

(“That would really make my Valentine's Day, if it turned out that he loves me the way I love him, but I don't think that he'd do that to Yugi, even if he did feel towards me, his light is his top priority.”)

 

“Anzu, dinner time!”, her mother's voice rang out.

 

“Be there in a second mother!”

 

“Alright, just don't forget to wash your hands before dinner”

 

“I won't!” Anzu decided to give herself a few more moments before going to wash-up for dinner. (“Yami wouldn't want to hurt Yugi's feelings, by taking me from him, since Yugi likes me, and that's if Yami even does like me”)

 

“Anzu honey, your dinner's getting cold!”

 

“Okay, I'm coming!” Anzu picked herself off of her bed and went to the bathroom. (“You've got to stop thinking about Yami Yugi, yet you can't”) Anzu argued with herself, (“Atleast stop thinking about him until Valentine's day, okay?” she half asked, half told herself. (“You better get off to dinner now, or else mother's going to get mad!”)

 

Anzu dragged herself off to the dining room, where she sat down to enjof the meal in front of her.
