Chapter 2………………………Secret Meetings

It was 8:55 that night when Christina walked out of her room and checked if anyone was watching her. Coast was clear so she went out the back entrance, she went to the wall and slipped out through a small crack behind a large bush only her and Jibade knew about. She ran towards the park and hid behind the trees, and then she spotted Marik and walked up to him.

"Marik?" Christina whispered. He jumped at the sound of her voice.

"Oh Christina it's you." He looked surprised.

Christina's POV:

We talked for ages telling each other about our lives, well Marik told me all about his. I don't know whether I should tell him I'm the princess yet, I don't know him well enough.

It was getting really late so we said our goodbyes and left each other to run back to our homes without getting caught.

I lay on my bed staring at the elegant ceiling thinking of Marik of course, he was so dreamy and so sweet, but he had a bad past, he wouldn't tell me a lot about it. I had a feeling he had a lot more to reveal, so did I.

I told him about my siblings and my best friend Delilah, apparently Marik knows Delilah's boyfriend Bakura. Delilah's parents don't approve of Bakura because he is not of royal blood and he's a bad influence. Last week Delilah snuck out of the palace to go and party in town with Bakura, she took Bakura home and got caught making out with him by her older sister Mackenzie, her parents didn't find out about it thank god.

Normal POV

Christina drifted off to sleep thinking about Marik and her friends. The next night she would meet Marik again at the same time and place.

4 weeks had past; Christina had been sneaking out every night to see Marik in the park. They had gotten a lot closer.
