Okay to start of I don't own YGO or the song "Pain" by Jimmy Eat World, although I did change she to he(editorial license ya'know).

Also this is rated R-NC17 for drug usage, mentions of abuse, and sexual implacations.

I orginally wanted to right a lemon but it just sorta turned out this way sorta like the odd format when i set apart the song lyrics.

O and I apologize for it being so short I have a problem with writing plane and simple facts but I go through everything I write at least three time to add more detail but they still end up a little shorter than I'd like them.

Yugi literally fell into the worn out bed that sat next to a shattered window in the bedroom, that a couple of months ago had such an innocent air to it. Before it had been a model of childish imagination complete with dinosaur bed sheets and whimsical teddy bear wallpaper, which made it seem that a small child resided there instead of the fifteen- year-old who was already into highschool. But now the wallpaper was marred with vertical slashes and the sheets were stuffed in the waste basket replaced by a simple patchwork quilt with dark burgandy squares. The young boy's room wasn't the only thing that changed. His wardrobe was always a little provocative but in a cute sort of way. While

before he had worn the tight black leather shirts, lately they had shortened a bit just to show his navel. Hip-riding leather pants ,that looked as if they were painted on, also replaced his normal ones that atleast moderately covered him. All in all he didnt look like the same old Yugi anymore.

Yugi just sat there staring at the cealing for about ten minuets before he pushed his ratty quilt out of the way and probed around under his battered matress. It just took him a couple of seconds before he found what he was looking for and pulled out a small unmarked pill bottle. It took awhile but he finally removed the child safe lid and popped two of the small white pills into his mouth, swallowing them without any water.

'Damn every time it takes longer for these fucking things to give me my buzz. Mind as well up the dosage,' with this thought he popped two more of the pills swallowing them in the same way.

In a short time Yugi could already feel his mind slipping into a state of subconcious as he rode the wave of euphoria. After awhile he fell asleep still under the effects of the pills.

While Yugi slipped off into his subconcious world, Yami entered the Kame Gameshop. Upon entering the cheerful smile he had put on while talking to his friends changed into a dark and evil scowl. The pharoh's "friends" had alerted him to his hikari's declining condition. Previously Yami had decided to try to cover up Yugi's actions, telling his friends that the destruction that had begun to follow his small lover as his own way of acting out for atention. Yugi's recent attitude change though was harder to keep under wraps. Just the previous day he had got into an argument with Jou accusing him not only being a dog but also being Seto's bitch. Yami chuckled as he remebered the events that had transpired.

****Flashback****

"Damnit Jou what the hell was that for," Yugi snarled while Jou quickly jumped up after tripping on a rock and falling ontop of the small boy.

"Oh hey sorry Yug' didn't see that rock it just sorta' jumped out in front of me you know , hahaha,"Jou laughed, not wanting to get on Yugi's bad side having noticed his increasing temper.

"O shove it up your ass and go back to Kaiba," Yugi spat out.

"Whatcha' talkin' about Yug'," Jou asked trying to play confused

"Heh, stop the act everybody knows you two go at it like bunnies, or should I say dogs the way he always calls you mutt. I bet he makes you his bitch every night while you howl out his name doesn't he," Yugi said, while walking away leaving a very stuned crowd that had formed, and a very furious Jou.

"Well I know you and Yami do it all the time, I heard you in the bathroom yesterday you fucking masochistic punk,"Jou managed to yell out before Yugi got into the building, but with his back to everybody nobody saw the tear that fell to the ground from little Yugi's cheek.

Although he had no doubt as to the validity of his lovers statement, as his master Yami was planning on tourtuing Yugi until he stopped his rampage less he further expose his and Yami's relationship.

'That ungreatful wretch,'he thought,'I'll teach him how to act unless he wants me to use the whip that has the glass in it this time'

With that Yami began his assention to his hikari's room tripping and stubbling on the boxes of games and action figures that littered the entirety of the small house/store. Upon entering his hikari's room though he lost all previous intentions of pain and tourture. There sat his previously innocent lover on the bed asleep hand hanging off the bed. He decided to let him sleep;however,not for any noble reasons though Yugi always screamed more when he was fully awake anyway, and Yami did have work to do in his Grandfathers shop.

*****short time lapse*****

Yugi awoke with a start expecting to be blindfoled and cuffed to the bed posts or something of the sort, but there was Yami sleeping on the edge of the bed arms clutching a buddle of the quilt to himself, hair spralled out behind him looking almost like a halo concealing the true devil that lurked within those innocent features . Yugi reached down and brushed a stray lock of hair out of the pharohs face, kissing him gentley on the lips. The simple angelic glow Yami had to him while sleeping never ceased to amaze Yugi and always kept him bound to the pharoh like an iron chain.

It's a lie. A kiss with opened eyes.

And he's not breathing back.

Anything but bother me.

(It takes my pain away)

Nevermind these are horrid times.

Oh oh oh

I can't let it bother me.

Yugi stared down in the bottle still clutched in his hand. Deciding it was now or never he took his oppurtunity to get out of the abusive relationship with the pharoh the simplest and only way he could think of. He loved Yami but the pharoh would only hurt him more in the future and he couldn't take the pain anymore. His soul feeling raped each and every time Yami struck him or entered his unprepared passage. Taking one last breath Yugi dumped the rest of the bottles contents into his mouth swallowing the pills dry once again. He layed down and kissed Yami one last time, savoring the slight cinamon taste that was simplely Yami, before drifting off into his endless sleep.

I never thought I'd walk away from you.

I did.

But it's a false sense of accomplishment.
