This is a very depressing fic!

Yugi's POV

How close it came that very day, that day my darkness almost took a life.

Yami could have won, but I wouldn't let him.

He stopped speaking to me for a while, for I had ended his 5000-year winning streak. He probably hates me now. Or did.

I was surprised he would risk Seto's life to win a game… A game

To him it's not a game but a way of life.

I guess he wasn't a people person.

It's sad that didn't care about Seto's life.

I guess that's what happens when you only have darkness for 5000 years.

I sit thinking of the darkness deep inside me.

Is that what happens to souls that live without love.

Can darkness love?
