Pilae: *holding Tao Ren plushie and looking apologetic* I am SO sorry I haven't updated in a while. But I have a really good reason! I was out of town last month, and I DID tell y'all not to expect the update until August or September. I wasn't near a computer in July, and August was really busy. I had to start looking for a part-time job, and then school started and there was loads of homework. *sighs and shudders in terror* Evil, evil creations. I curse the one who thought up homework and detention. May they be sent to hell to listen to Téa's friendship speeches for all eternity.

Pyros: *walks in sleepily from his room, yawning and glaring* It's 3:30 in the morning. Why'd you have to update now?!?

Pilae: I couldn't sleep. Besides, I kinda figured the readers have waited long enough. And I just finished my homework.

Pyros: -_-; It's Sunday.

Pilae: I left it a bit late, alright?

Kat: *stumbles in with Tsunami and FB-chan* What the hell are you doing?

Pyros: *flatly* She's updating.

Tsunami: Now?

Pilae: What? I just finished my homework.

Pyros: Don't ask.

FB-chan: Okay. *falls on Pilae's bed and goes back to sleep holding her Hao plushie*

Pilae: ...Maybe I should've waited a few more hours?

Tsunami: Maybe. *yawns*

Pyros: Definitely. *falls asleep on the couch*

Kat: *eats some ramen and is now fully awake* Well, as long as we're up, let's update. The readers have waited long enough.

Pilae: That's what I told Pyros! He didn't believe me though. Oh, by the way... Does anyone know what today is?

FB-chan: *mumbling in her sleep* It's September 2... Hao... Bakura... zzz...

Pilae: Yup! It's Bakura's birthday!!! *house is suddenly decorated from top to bottom in honor of the event*

Kat: Par-tay! *gets out the sake, Ramune, pocky, and anything edible left in the neighborhood, including, you guessed it, SUGAR!!!!* Um, I don't think we can have a party when everybody's asleep.

Pilae: *frowns* You're right. *uses author's power to wake everybody up and bring `em to the house*

Pyros: *jerks awake* I'm up. *yawns and sees the decorations* Whoa. What's up?

Tsunami: *drinks apple cider* I'm feeling hyper. What're we doin' today?

Tatsuki and Nasumi: *walk in* Sup, peoples?

Marik and Malik: What's with the cheerfulness?

FB-chan: *wakes up and Pilae forces her to drink some sake* Hey!

Yami and Yugi: *walk in*

Yami: *to Yugi* What are we doin' here again?

Yugi: *shrugs* I dunno.

Duke and Tristan: *walk in with Mokuba, Seto, Shadi, Ishizu, Serenity, Mai, and *shudder* Téa right behind them*

Bakura and Ryou: *walk in and see nothing but darkness*

Bakura: What the-

*lights come on*

Everyone: SURPRISE!!!! Happy Birthday!

Ryou: *grinning like crazy* You remembered!

Pilae: Well, with a fan club headed by me and FB-chan, hell will freeze over before we forget something this important. ^_^

FB-chan: That's right. ^_^

Ryou: ^_^ I guess so.

Kat: Who wants sake?!

Everyone (including FB-chan, Ryou, and Yugi): *raise hands* ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pilae: *frowns* Someone's missing.

Kat: *passing out bottles of sake* Who?

Pilae: Oh, I know! *uses author's power again and three people walk in*

Tatsuki: Who're they?

Pilae: *happily* Well, the black haired gal is my sister, Rem, and the blonde is my little bro, Vash. The little red head is my-

Pyros: And mine!

Pilae: -And Pyros's, daughter, Ember. Ain't she a little cutie?

Ember: *pouts and crosses her arms* Don't call me cute!

Bakura: Hey, she sounds like Ryou from his time as a chibi in `Chibi for a Day'. (Pyros: Stop plugging for other people's fics! Pilae: I'll plug if I want!)

Kat: *tosses sake to the three arrivals*

Ryou: *chokes on his vodka* You're letting a 14 year old, an 11 year old, and a 4 year old (in order of intros.) DRINK?!?

Pilae: If they're anything like me, they can drink. I've never met a Flamesinger who couldn't hold the liquor.

Tsunami: *sitting on couch* So, what're we doing today?

Pilae: Drinking and doing whatever we want.

FB-chan: So basically just what we've been doing?

Pilae: Yup. `Cept now we can say we have a reason. A birthday party! ^_^

Pilae: *holding sake bottle and her daughter* Wow. Short chappie. This is actually the shortest I've ever written. So sorry. But at least it's something. This was actually written early because I wanted to at least have it started before I went out of town. But, since I finished early, I decided to post early to give y'all something to read. Y'all have gotten six chappies from me in like, two or three weeks, so that better be enough to allow me to skip a month or two. Now, let's thank reviewers!

(stupid evil writer's block! I curse the one who came up with writer's block! May they join the creator of homework and detention in hell!!) Ahem. Sorry for that. (Ember: Thanks Tatsuki! Even though I don't think I know you...)

Yes, Ember is my daughter in a lot of stories, but not in real life. (DUH!) I'm only 15. Do you REALLY think I'm gonna have a mate at the age of 9 and a daughter at 11? I think not. Maybe one day... Yeah right. I mean, in the stories, I'm usually 19, which would make Ember 4, and I mate Pyros two years before she's born, so yeah. I'll stop babbling about this now.

And don't forget, I still need those ideas! And I will not be updating when I get back unless I have a minimum of 10 reviews waiting for me. So review!

Ember: Review for my momma please! She thrives on those things. She needs them almost as much as she needs sake and insanity. I'd say sugar, but that's s'posed ta calm her down. So please review!
