Yami blinked, not believe a word of what he had just heard. It couldn't happen... It just couldn't!
"Please... You're joking... right?" Seto whispered harshly, "This is some sort of cruel trick!"
The Malik look-a-like shook his head. "No.. Yuugi, Mokuba, and Ryou may never wake up again, for all we know. These three have gone through so much trauma, that even the highest and most advanced technology couldn't figure out why they're this way.." He trailed off slightly, looking at the three prone figures in their separate beds. (oooh, That's so WRONG. Cos I watch House. House would be able to find out!)
The white haired fiend standing by Ryou growled, chestnut eyes flashing with malice, and hate towards Malik. Said boy sank behind his personal doctor.
"I.. G-gomen ne! I don't know why I would do that! I.. I am so sorry! Really, I truly am!"
Crimson orbs stared blankly at the tanned blonde. He seemed to know what he was going through.. but never said a word.
Malik let small tears trickle down his face as all conscious beings in the room stared down at him, somehow with burning glares that stung his heart greatly.
Before the others could get an explanation, a pained whimper from Yuugi sounded. Using the distraction, the frightened, Egyptian boy burst out of the room, flying past the other nurses and into the cold winter streets or Domino.
'Why does this always happen to me...' He thought tiredly. 'I never meant to harm such people.. why can't I just behave..'
Running over stray cans in an alley way, and card board boxes, the teen smacked into a slightly taller figure. All he caught was a glimpse of ever-green eyes before he fainted, the cold air wrapping its’ self around him like some surreal cruel act of fate.. he was getting what he deserved..

"Say, when they're in love, does everyone get this lonely? Say.. do they embrace the pain even deeper than the darkness?"
Yami placed his cold fingers on his lovers pale cheek. He whispered softly to him a song is mother often sang to him, when she was alive. Yuugi, in the times of the pharaohs, loved it when 'Atemu' sang him such a softly sung song.
"It's all been so that we shine, I just know it!” Bakura shifted his eyes from his pale koi's face, to see the pharaoh, already leant over-top of his counter part, singing with such care in his voice. His eyes watched the mouth of the tanned pharaoh whisper the next verse.
"I... I love you." His eyes shone sadly, glistening with unshed tears. "I'm gazing at you with my heart. I believe in you, even on the coldest night."
Honey eyes danced with a small splash of hope, and soon Joey joined in.
"Say, even if they're in love, Could the end someday come for them, too?" In the emotion of it, the golden teen glared, somehow happily, at his lover. "Say, could a feeling that's even clearer than the blue sky end up being abandoned?"
Joey and Yami looked at each other. A grin lit up both their faces as even Seto whispered along.
"The season-changing winds, running along the streets. Forever.."
Bakura snorted, watching the men sing to their sleeping family, and lover. Why would he do such a foolish thing? To sing to a person who would not be able to hear, therefore not appreciate it.. Why would they even try..
"I.. I love you! I'm gazing at you with my heart."
Startled as he was, the albino shot a glance up at the blonde 'puppy'. Joey was standing next to him, staring down at Ryou sadly. It made Bakura’s heart ache, but he refused to sing... he wouldn't!
Seto smiled at the paler yami, and let his voice reach him softly.
"I believe in you, even on the coldest night."
Yami blinked, then caught on. He turned around slightly, with Yuugi hand in his. Eyeing Bakura with such a look, he sung, loud as he dared go in a hospital.
"Even if I lost tomorrow.. And even if I lost you, too."
"I want to shine!"
Frustrated, and just plain tired of holding everything in, the darkest of them let his shaking, bass voice drift above them all.
A soft moan was heard, and all heads snapped over to the bed closest to Yami. In his bed, Yuugi murmured incoherently.
Smiling. Yami was smiling, and as happy as a smile got as he embraced Yuugi tightly. "Smiling as best as I can.. I call out to you now, with my tears!" He choked.. It wasn't possible. Yuugi couldn't hear him, for the boy had gone still again. Merely slumped against the his leather-clad chest, Yami shook. He rocked Yuugi back and forth, stuttering out the lyrics. These lyrics that had been Theirs for only RA knew hold long! "I don't need promises or such things.. B-because... because of the precious strength you've given me.""Aiiiii.. hanngh.." Yami froze. No way. There was no way.. "I, I call out t-to you... now, w-with my eyes.." Such beautiful eyes as they were, coming into his view as Yuugi shakily took his face into his oh so soft hands..
A single tear cascade down the side of his warm cheek, and he held in the sob that so dearly wanted out.
Yami lowered his head closer to Yuugi. "I don't.. I don't need promises or such things," Both of the lovers eyes now sparkled with happy tears. With is sweet Alto voice, held strong for his love, Yuugi sang; "I reach out to you with my eyes.."
Yami placed hand on the small of Yuugi's back, and whispered softly before he closed in the small space between himself and his Yuugi, capturing him in a passionate kiss.
"Even on the coldest night..."
