Amanda is a foreign exchange student from the United States and she is transferring to Domino city, Japan. She had long blondish brown hair that glimmered like gold, piercing blue eyes, 5'7, skinny, and really smart. Amanda has quite a few special abilities up her sleeve that she is unaware of. She loves to dance, shop, and ride horses. She also paints, reads and fight (she takes karate, the awesome kind). Being new to Domino City, made her feel a bit silly since she's an American from the States and wonders how she is going to fit in.

Before she went to school, she had to find a place to stay now. As she was walking around, she accidentally bumped into someone with brown hair and blue eyes like hers.

"Watch where you're going!"

"Sorry. Didn't mean to bump into you."

She then saw a little boy run across the street to its mother, when a car came around the corner really fast, heading straight for the kid.

"Look out!" Amanda yelled.

Mother: My baby! NOO!

Amanda quickly ran after the kid, pushed him out of the way, and she got hit instead of the boy, but it wasn't as bad…just a few bruises and a sprained ankle and two scarred up arms. (The car had slowed down when it came towards her)

"We got to help her Seto! She's hurt!"

She'll be fine. Let's go."

"How can you be so mean? She needs medical attention Seto!" The little boy ran over to the girl and tried to help her up. He can see she was hurt badly, but she was alive and still conscious.

Mokuba: Are you okay miss? (He asked her)

Amanda: I'm fine. But my right foot is sprained and it hurts, and so do my arms. (`Wow, I guess people over here do speak English. That's a relief')

Mokuba helped her up as best as he could, and got her off the street. The ambulance finally came and carried her off of the hospital. Mokuba begged his older brother to let him go see how she's doing. He agreed and they went to the hospital to see how the young lady was doing.

They went in and Mokuba asked the doctor how she was doing.

Doctor: She will be fine. Her arms and legs are fine, but scarred up pretty bad. Her ankle will be fine, but it will be hard for her to walk. (I have waked on a sprained ankle before and it's no fun ;P. Mokuba is more of the caring type here and he hates to see anyone get hurt, especially if its his brother or a really pretty girl.)

Doctor: Wait here. My nurses will bring her out.

As the two of them waited, they saw the young lady being brought out by two of the doctor's nurses.

Mokuba ran up the young lady and hugged her. She smiled and returned the hug back to the little boy.

Seto just stood there and looked at the girl. He had to admit she was pretty, and friendly, but that left his mind really fast.

All three of them walked out of the hospital and another conversation began.

Mokuba: So, do you have a place to stay yet?

Seto: Don't start Mokuba.

Mokuba: What? I'm just asking her a question you meanie. (Sticks his tongue out at his brother).

Amanda: Wait. What are your names?

Mokuba: Oops. My name's Mokuba, and this is my brother Seto.

Amanda: My name is Amanda. Nice to meet you both. (pauses for a second and continues)…Right now I don't have a place to stay, and I was hoping someone around here can recommend some good apartments or motels for the moment.

Mokuba: You can stay with us if you like.

Seto: No Mokuba. Don't even think about it.

Mokuba: Please big brother, please?

Seto: I said no! And that's final!

Mokuba glared at his brother, and turned to Amanda, whom had an angry look in her eyes, but also a sad one.

Mokuba: I'm sorry Amanda.

Amanda: Its ok Mokuba. Don't worry about it. Take care kid.

She turned around and walked away from the both of them, with her sprained ankle.

Mokuba: She needs a place to stay and you just made her upset!

Seto: She can take of herself Mokuba!

Amanda turned around and herd what he said, and she replied: For your information, I have taken car of myself since I was five after my parents and sister were killed, smart ass. I have herd a lot about the both of you. How you were adopted by Gozoboro Kaiba, and became Multi Billionaires at a very young age. You guys are lucky to be living in the lap of luxury all the time. Good bye. Hope you two have a nice life.

With that, she turned around and continued on her way to find a place to stay.

The two of them were stunned that the girl knew a lot, but then again, news travels fast.

Mokuba turned around and walked back home, while his brother stood there and watched the young lady walk away. He knew that he had not only hurt her feelings, but Mokuba's feelings as well.

Seto: `Why does this always happen to me?'

He decided to walk after her and to let her stay, and he's not really good at apologizing to anyone.

Seto: Amanda! Amanda wait!

She turned around and saw him walking towards her.

Amanda: What do you want?

Seto: You are welcome to stay at our place. As much as I hate having guests over, you're an acception, and my brother would like it too if you stayed.

Amanda looked at him in a surprising way.

Amanda: Alright. Sounds like a plan to me.

Just then a surge of pain went right through her ankle and she almost fell to the ground, till Seto caught her.

Seto picked her up, bridal style, and carried her back to the mansion.

It was getting late and he placed her into one of the guest rooms up stairs. Her things that she had brought with her were placed in her guest room. He laid her down on her bed, turned the lights off, and closed the door.

Mokuba looked at his brother and smiled, and Seto had a small smile on his face too.
