Yugi sat in the hostipital pacing back and forth in a quick pace. He was also alone. All of his friends, including Ryou and Yami Bakura, we're all away on summer vacation, and Solomon, Yugi's grandpa, was still taking care of his sister. Yugi's heart quickend and his stomach churned to where it felt like it was going to explode. What if Yami didn't make it? The doctors said he had lost most his blood and that his chances of surviving we're slim. Who was that guy that attacked? How did he disappear like that? What curse? Yami killed his brother? What is going on? All these unawnsered questions swirled around his brain giving him a head ache. What would he do if Yami died? What would he tell every body? What if that guy we're to come back? Whats going on?! Yugi finally had to sat down, he felt all the blood rushing to his head even thogh he was standing up.

//Abiou?...// a voice in Yugi's head ringed.

/Yami?! Yami is that you?!/

//Yes abiou... It's me...//

/Are you ok?/

//I don't know... I think I'm still unconcious... Seeing as how I can't open my eyes or move my body...//

/Yami! You had better not die!/

//I'm not planning to hikari...//

/I'm scared Yami! What if you do die?! What will I do then? What will I tell the others?!/

//Yugi! Yugi! Calm down! I give you my word on my soul, I. Am. Not. Going. To. Die.//

/Good.../

//For now... I'm too weak to hold the link between us...//

/Ok.../

Yugi started pacing again. 'Yami' kept running through his head over and over. Sweat trickled down his for head abd built up on his brow. Yami... Yami... Yami... Yami... Yami... Yami... Yami... YAMI!!!!! This is what kept happening. He'd start then scream in his mind. I'm such a baka! I should have tried to help Yami! Other wise he wouldn't of gotten stabbed! It's all my fault!

"Mister Yugi Mouto?" The doctor sneaked up from behind Yugi making him jump.

"Y-Yes? Is Yami Ok?! Is He Gonna Make It?!" Yugi was almost yelling.

"I have great news. Mr.Yami Mouto is going be just fine, a few days rest and a few days in the hostpital and he should be back on his feet in a few weeks tops" Then doctor smiled gently.

"CAN I See him?!" Yugi started to yell but caught him self and quieted down.

"Yes, you may see him"

***************In The Room***************

Yugi frowned when he saw Yami. He was so pale, all the color was drained from his face. Yugi gaged at all the tubes and things coming in and out of him. Yami opened his eyes slowly. The shine that was usually in his crimson eyes was gone.

"Hikari?...." he struggeled to say.

"Hi Yami..." Yugi forced a unemotional smile.

"I told you... I... wouldn't die..." He smiled.

Yugi walked over and gently hugged him barley putting any of his weight on the injured pharoh. Trembling, he rested his right arm on the younge boy's back side, slightly pushing him against him, well, as hard as his body would phsicly allow him to.

"I was afraid I was going to loose you Yami" Yugi whimpered slightly.

"Shh... It's ok... I'm still here..." The pharoh whispered comfortingly.

Yami, with his remaining strength, pulled Yugi slowly up next to him. Yugi hesitated, not want to hurt his Yami more than he already had, but Yami kept silently insisting he not go. Yugi finally gave in and cuddle up as close as he could to where he wouldn't hurt the pharoh. Yami slowly ran his fingers through the boy's hair. He felt the his abiou accidently fall limp from exhaustion, and the boy finally fell asleep. The Yami knew that later the nurses and doctors would probley rant about, but he didn't want to spoil the moment, it would be a while before he was to get out of the hostpital, so he wanted to be around his love as much as possible while he was in here... Finally, after staring at his loves beauty a moment more, he too let the dark comfort of rest finally over come him, as he too slipped in a peaceful sleep next to his light...
