Italic Someone Thinking

"Someone talking"

Yugi lay in bed staring up at his ceiling, mind lost in the space of a dark void. So many thoughts going through his head at one time, so many unanswered. Who was that guy that attacked Yami? What had he been talking about? Whose brother? I gave him a migraine.

//Are you all right, Abiou? I since distress coming from with you mind. //

/I'm all right Yami. Just a lot on my mind right now that's all. /

Yami was still in the hospital seemingly still 'recovering'. The doctors said he might never be able to move his arm ever again when he can move it just fine at the present time. Yugi personally thought that all the doctor's at the hospital didn't have a degree. Great Ra kill him if they did.

Yugi had been at home alone for the past 5 days, and as almost any other person would, was starting to get a little lonely. Of course he visited Yami every day, but when Yugi got home... the aloneness was just... kind of unbearable.

Yugi had no one to talk to. No one to hang out with just to pass the spare time he had.

24 hours in a day and only 7 visiting at the dreaded hospital. That just wasn't fair! Well, no to Yugi any way.

What was he supposed to day all day? He had nowhere and nothing to do at al what so ever.

/Yami I'm b b o o r r d d e e!/ Yugi complained.

//Do you think being in the blasted hospital is any better? //

/No, but there is just nothing to do! /

**************************

Yami wished he could be there with his beloved hikari, but these god-forsaken doctors wouldn't allow him to leave, and he could move his shoulder just fine. It didn't even hurt to move it any more!

It was only his shoulder that was injured! Why stay here so long only for that?!

/Yami?/

//Yes my little light?//

/Can we go to our soul room mentally? I want to see you. Please?/ Yugi begged. He was giving his most innocent sounding voice.

Yami mentally chuckled //of course...//

**************************

Yugi huddled up as close to his yami as he could, nuzzling the pharaoh's neck with his nose, gripping Yami's shirt as if he was hanging on to the spirit for his dear life.

Yami kept his face buried in Yugi's thick hair, breathing in deeply, taking in his wonderful, youthful scent.

He didn't know why, but he loved the way his little hikari smelt. The boy was just so fragile, so innocent, and.... his... Yugi was his and no one else's. No one would ever take his little light away, no... He wouldn't allow it... not if he could help it...

He loved Yugi more than he had any one else. More than any one else... ever... The frail teen was his and his alone... and he wouldn't want to have it any other way... he would never, ever, want it any other way, and not any one else...

He huddled the youth as if he was protecting him from someone that was trying to harm him. He moaned every single time Yugi would nuzzle his nose into his neck, tickling it.

"I love you Yami..." the younger boy whispered.

"I love you too, little light" he responded.

A voice than revealed itself, "Pathetic"
