Megan looks at Yami. He smiles brightly at her. HEHE!!!!

" Yami, could you do the disclaimer for me please." Megan asks putting on a sweet tone of voice. Yami walks up to Megan.

"Oh course I can. I will do anything for my sweet thing. Megan Visnoski doesn't own Yu-Gi-Oh or the characters of Yu-Gi-Oh. There are a few characters in her story that are her own original characters."

"That was perfect. Thank you Yami!! AND NOW on with the story."

Chapter 2- Fatal Dreams

Kima sat on the highest branch of a very old looking tree while she looked up at the starry sky. She needed to go someplace safe, but even she knew that she wasn't going to be safe for very long. They had found her home and would not stop until they got what they wanted. Kima looked at the scratches on her right cheek using her compact mirror. There were as well, bruises on both her wrists.

The three witches have come for her, to take her life away. They wanted her life. Kima looked at the full moon and started to think back to her first day at school. She had high hopes that the witches would not find her. She was so very wrong. They found her!

FLASHBACK

As usual, Yugi and Joey sat at a desk in the classroom duelling, relieved that this time, nothing was on the line. Tea, Tristan, Bakura along with some other classmates, watched them duel. Seto Kaiba sat at his desk reading a historical book about the Ancient Greeks and their Mythology.

Mr. Thomas, the teacher, came into the classroom just as the last bell rang. Everyone sat at their desks and opened their books.

" Alright class, before we begin, I have an announcement. We will be having a new student in our class. Come on in and introduce yourself." Mr. Thomas gestured to someone at the door. Yugi watched as feet slowly entered the classroom. A young girl came in. She had blue eyes, long red hair and then of course, she wore the school uniform.

" Hello my fellow classmates! My name is Kima Trensuki. I came here from Egypt." Kima looked at Seto Kaiba who glared at her. Then she looked at Yugi.

He looks like Yami, but he isn't Yami. He wears the Millennium Puzzle, so this boy must be the one to be the bearer of the Pharaoh's power.

Yugi. This is the girl that had beaten Kaiba at duel monsters in only her second turn. There is a special force that I feel coming from her. I suggest we keep a close eye on her Yugi. Yami spoke to Yugi through their minds. Yugi sighed.

All right Yami. She seems like a really nice person anyhow.

Yes she does Yugi. I don't know why but I feel like I know this girl from somewhere. I don't really know where though.

"Kima, you may take a seat between Seto and Yugi." Mr. Thomas told her. Kima took a step toward the desk than stopped. She stood there very still, looking at the back of the room. Mr. Thomas reminded her to take her seat. Yugi noticed that something was wrong. He turned to where Kima was looking but couldn't see anything. He felt something cold at the back of his neck.

Kima saw it though. The blurry figures of pure evil. They cackled with glee for they saw the fear. The blurry figures flew like the wind straight at Kima. Kima screamed and crossed her arms to protect herself. The blurry figures pushed her into the blackboard. She hit her head hard and felt the sting of nails scratching her arms and legs. She screamed in agony and felt like she was dying

Mr. Thomas tried to get to Kima but something pulled his chair in front of him and tripped him. Yugi got up from his desk and ran to Kima. Her screaming had stopped as he tried to wrap up her scratches to stop the bleeding. A classmate called the hospital. Ten minutes later, Kima was raised onto the stretcher and put into the ambulance. Time seemed to sit still for everyone as they were all confused about the whole ordeal. Yugi watched as the ambulance drove off heading toward the hospital.

Something tried to really hurt Kima. Whatever it was, it's very evil. Yami is right, we've just got to keep an eye on Kima. She could be in a so much danger.

Later that day……..

Kima opened her eyes a little bit. She wasn't sure what she would see. There were white walls and a lot of monitors. I'm in the hospital. The door opened and Yugi stepped through the door. Kima tried to sit up but every part of her hurt like hell.

"Yugi, right?"

"That's right. I came to see how you're doing Kima." Yugi stepped up to the side of the bed.

"Well, besides being really embarrassed, I'm okay. Still alive and kicking." Kima laughed.

"There's no reason to be embarrassed Kima. It was unexplainable." Yugi tried to comfort her.

"You can't tell me that happens everyday." Kima debated.

"It doesn't, but no one knows what happened. Do you?" Yugi looked into Kima's eyes. Kima didn't say anything. Yugi decided to drop it there. Kima and Yugi had a friendly chat for a while. She really took a liking to Yugi!

END FLASHBACK

Kima heard a sound so close to her. She wasn't sure what it was until she felt the cold air around her. They had come for her. She jumped down from the branch. She wasn't safe there anymore. She ran until she found herself at the Turtle Game Shop where Yugi lives. Kima ran up to the door and rang the doorbell. She heard footsteps then the door opened.

"Oh, hello there." Yugi's grandpa greeted Kima.

"Mr. Motou, is Yugi here?"

"He is. I shall let him know you are here." Yugi's grandpa went up the stairs. A few minutes later, Yugi ran down the stairs.

"Kima, is everything okay?" Yugi asked as he stepped closer to her. Yugi noticed that she was afraid of something. Kima looked at Yugi. How was she supposed to explain?

"I'm sorry Yugi. I shouldn't be here." Kima could feel the tears falling from her eyes. She turned towards the door and took a step when she felt Yugi's hand on her shoulder. She turned to face Yugi but faced Yami.

"Yami? But, but, where's Yugi?"

"That doesn't matter right now. I can clearly see that you are troubled and I am here for you." Yami smiled. Kima didn't know why but she jumped into Yami's arms and cried. Yami looked stunned. He looked down and thought about the dreams he had every night. He was starting to fit the pieces together.

After a while, Yami looked down at Kima. She had fallen asleep. He picked her up and opened the door to the guest room across from Yugi's. He laid her down on the bed pulling the blanket over her. For a long time he stared at her and found she looked an awful lot like Minka. Yami knelt down and moved her hair away from her face. He then bent over and touched her cheek, which was warm. He closed his eyes and placed a tender kiss on Kima's red lips. After, he left the room and looked at the clock. 1:37am. Yami flopped down on his bed and quickly fell asleep.

At 3:23am, Yami woke up startled. Something kept ringing in his ears. It took him a moment to realize that it was screaming he was hearing. Kima's screaming. He stumbled off the bed and ran for the guest room. The eye on Yami's forehead flared. He sensed a great evil coming from the room. Yami opened the door and found pure darkness surround him. This is not the guest room anymore. This place is the Shadow Realm.

Once more Yami heard Kima scream. It took a while for him to find her. She ran until a black void picked here up and then threw her. She hit the ground hard. Yami ran up to Kima and purposely fell to the floor, covering her body with his own to protect her. A nail scratched his left cheek. Yami growled. He yelled out a secret Egyptian chant. The darkness began to disappear as the room was becoming visible. Yami opened his eyes to see three old women cackle then disappear. Yami wrapped Kima in his arms. She grabbed his arms. She was skaking all over.

"A dream, my dream." Kima tried to explain. "They went into my dream. The witches want to kill me Yami!" Kima managed to tell Yami before she fainted. Yami growled and became furious. The eye on his forehead flared even more. He would protect Kima from anything. Even if it meant killing the witches in the process. Yami took Kima into his room and laid her on his bed. She'll be a lot safer around me. For some reason, the witches don't seem to attack Kima when she is with me.

Yami laid down beside Kima and took her into his arms. She snuggled in even closer to him. Yami closed his eyes as he heard her say in her sleep, "I love you my Pharaoh! My Yami!"
