Girl: I'll be your opponent.
Mai: Fine. What's your name, kid?
Girl: My name is Akata, Master of Monsterless Magic.
Mai: ^-^ Cool! Aliteration!

Mai: I'll move first. I summon Cyber Harpie (1800/1300) in attack mode, and set 2 cards face down.
Akata: I play 2 Tremendous Fires, 2 Ookazis, 1 Final Flame, and set 1 card face down.
Mai: O.O
M-3600 A-7000
Mai: Uhhh, 2 Tremendous Ookires, 2 Finers, a Flinal Fame, uh… never mind. I'll move now. I draw. I summon Harpie's Brother (1800/0600) in attack mode, and activate Harpie's Feather Duster to get rid of your face down card.
Akata: I'll chain to your Magic Card with Waboku! Now you cant deal Damage this turn!
Mai: Darn. I… end my turn.
Akata: Goodie! I draw. Now I play Pot of Greed! So I'll draw 2 cards. Then I'll set them face down.
Mai: My turn. I sacrifice my monsters for Harpie's Pet Dragon (2000/2500). Now, my Dragon, direct attack!
Akata: I activate Magic Cylinders! Now your Dragon attacked YOU!

Akata: Now I activate Nightmare Wheel. Your Dragon can't attack anymore. My turn. I play Monster Reborn! Now I revive Cyber Harpie (1800/1300) in attack mode! Your move.
Mai: Fine.
M-1100 A-7000
Mai: Uhhh, okay, yeah, I forgot about that damage. Now I play offerings to the doomed, and I destroy my own Dragon! I do have to skip my next draw phase, though. Next, I play Pot of Greed. Now I have 4 cards. Now I summon Amazon Archer (1400/1200). That ends my turn.
Akata: I play Swords of Revealing Light. You can't attack for 3 whole turns! Now, Cyber Harpie, attack Amazon Archer!
Mai: I activate my own Waboku! My move. I can't draw, but I can still play Scapegoat (0000/0000 [x4])! Now I offer them all for 2400 points of MY direct damage!

Mai: Wait! I think I know how to beat her. It looks like she doesn't have any monsters in her deck! That's how I'll win. Alright! I play 1 card face down, ending my turn.
Akata: Hah! I play Tremendous Fire!
Mai: I activate Barrel Behind the Door! Now the 1000 damage is done to you as well as the 500 you were going to take!

Akata: Cyber Harpie, attack Amazon Archer!
Mai: Oops. I didn't switch her to defense mode.

Mai: My move! (2 turns for SoRL) I play Heavy Storm, obliterating all Magic and Trap Cards on the field. Of course, that only means your Swords! (Swords Shatter) Now I play Change of Heart! I control Harpie, now. Now I summon Harpie Lady (1300/1400)! Monsters, ATTACK!
