~*Ancient Egypt *~
"Queen Isha! Your Highness!" a guard called out, caryying a small bundle in his arms.
"Yes, what is it?" Queen Isha asked. She had long, silky black hair in a ponytail, brilliant purple eyes, and unlike the many other Egyptians, her skin was quite pale.
"A woman found this floating in the Nile River, in a wooden basket," the guard replied, quickly, handing over the bundle. It was obvious that whatever was in the bundle, the guard wanted far away from it.
"Oh!" the queen gasped, as she opened the the small bundle. "What a beautiful baby girl!" The baby was no older than four months, with sparkling blue eyes, blonde hair, and of course, tan skin. "You're excused," she added. The guard looked thankful, bowed, and ran out of the palace.
"I think I'll name you Shadowena," Queen Isha stated, as the baby girl reaced out her small hand a grabbed the queen's index finger and started to giggle. "Little Shadowena, you'll grow up to be something special, I can tell."

"Come on, Anuket," Shadowena, more comenly known as Shadow, called to the jackel-like, brown and black haired, brown eyed dog. She was thirteen, had sky blue eyes, mid-back length shiny blonde hair, and tan skin.
"Anuket! Out of the flowers!" Shadow yelled. The jackel-like dog ran out of the blue Nymphaea caerulea and bounded straight to her side, giving a joyous bark to see her.
"Priestess Ishizu asked me to meet her today, and I want you to come with me because it's that or you're going to dig up those flowers," Shadow explained to the dog, who actually seemed to be listening. "And because I don't like going alone," she added in a whisper.
"Prince Yami! Oh, it's been so long!!!" Shadow could hear Tea's voice not to far off, and scowled. She had a problem with the brown haired, blue eyed Egyptian. And what did she mean 'been so long' ? It had only been a week.
When she came upon the sight, it took every bone in her body not to laugh. Tea was hugging the tri colored hair prince, but it looked more like she was trying to break his neck. The price's purple eyes found Shadow's and she saw they had a pleading look in them.
"Anuket, go chase Tea," Shadow commanded. But it was barley a command, considering that chasing Tea and tearing off a piece of her clothes was two of the dog's favorite past.
"AHHH!" Tea screamed , as she let go of the prince and started to run, Anuket close on her tail. Shadow continued to walk towards the palace.
"When will you ever learn, Prince Yami, that you have to stay away from the female race?" Shadow asked.
"I do, but she follows," the prince replied, then asked, "And when you say that does that mean I have to stay away from you, Shadow?"
"No, you don't have to stay away from me," the blonde replied. "Unlike the other girls, I don't fall for someone just because of their looks. I like them because of their personalities."
"Hmm," the price seemed to take all of it in. "Where are you headed?"
"The palace to meet Priestess Ishizu," Shadow replied.
"With your dog?" he asked, and she nodded. "I'll talk to you later than, Shadow." She nodded again, Anuket back at her side, with a piece of Tea's dress in her mouth.
"You need to tie up that stupid dog, Shadowena!" Tea yelled.
"I'll keep that in mind!" Shadow replied. "Oh, and Tea!" Shadow turned around. She was at the top now and Anuket was still with her. "While I tie up Anuket, remember to keep your legs closed! It's not right for a girl your age to be doing stuff like that!" With that she left behind a laughing Yami and a
It only took a couple of minutes for the two of them to find Priestess Ishizu. "Ah, Shadowena. It's nice to see you again. I see you've brought Anuket with you," she said.
"It's nice to see you again too," Shadow replied, and Anuket gave a slight bark in agreement.
"As you've been told, you are going to protect the Prince when he becomes Phaoroh," Ishizu started.
"And you haven't told him this?"
"No, we haven't told him this, Shadowena. Now, as I was saying- I believe you'll need help and strength, so here is the Millennium Staff," Ishizu finished, handing Shadow a gold staff with a gold ball that had the Eye of Horus and what looked like two smal gold wings on each side.
"I believe it will be easier if you use it as a necklace," Ishizu said, touching the eye and watching as the staff part dissappeared, and a gold string take its place.

"Anuket!" Shadowena yelled. "Oh, I'm killing that dog!" She was seventeen, had waist length shiny blonde hair, sky blue eyes, and even tanner skin.
"Shadow, the dog is not in the flowers, like usual," Kuro said. She wasn't really a human, although she looked like it. Kuro was a monster from the Shadow Realm, which caused her to float bout three inches from the floor. She had long blonde hair with black bangs and silver eyes.
Anuket choose this time to come bounding up to the two of them. "There you are!" Shadow cried. "You're such a pain in the butt."
The ground rumbled beneath them. "What in Ra's name-" Kuro started to cry, but was inturrupted by monsters from the Shadow Realm breaking through the wall. "On behalf of the god Anubis, run for your life!" she cried.
They made there way through the halls, dodgeing attacks from the monsters and from falling pieces of the palace. They made their into a secret chamber and slammed the door shut. "Oh Ra," Shadow muttered. "We are going to die."
Shadow found a small gold box and placed her Millennium Staff inside. "I'm supposed to protect Pharoah Yami, but it seems impossible. We are all going to die today, each of us slightly different," Shadow said to no one in particular. "If all the Millennium Items are found again, by evil, it will bring nothing but chaos. So lets hope this one item stays lost for a long, long time."
Kuro dissappeared into the box, as a card right next to Millennium Staff, and beside that two other cards appeared face down in the small box. Shadow closed the lid, and as she did a bunch of heiroglyphics appeared on the box, and on the top, the Eye of Horus.
With that the palace collapsed leaving no one alive and small gold box would not be found for quite some time.
