Sitting inside the Domino Cafe, Shadow drank some of the coffee waiting for her friend to come. She called right after she went back inside her house to change out of her PJs and into a jean skirt, a brown halter top, brown sandals, and her black trenchcoat. Of course, she had the Millennium Item around her neck and her glasses on the tip of her nose.
She looked around only to discover Tea, three tables away, ranting to her friends-Joey, Tristen, Ryou, and Yugi, right?- about something stupid- Shadow herself.
"I mean SERIOULSY! She thinks she is so cool!" Tea practically yelled.
"Tea, shut up! We're getting stared at," Joey stated.
"Hey, Shadow," a girl said sitting across from her. She had red hair in a braid down to her mid-back and forest gren eyes. She was wearing a knee length white skirt, a V-neck long sleeve white shirt, and white boots. "So I haven't seen you since that tournament in Egypt, hows it been going?"
"Not so well. Listen, Marie," Shadow said, and told her the events that just happened.
"I always believed things like this could happen," Marie said. "And to think my friend is a reincarnation to some strange girl from years and years ago."
"Are you nuts?" Shadow hissed. "I just figured out I have to protect the Pharoah and you think its cool?"
"Well, yeah," Marie stated. "Considering I'm definetly going to help you fight any evil that comes-"
She was inturrupted, by the one person that Shadow never wanted to see or hear in her lifetime again, "Well, well, well. If it isn't Shadowena."
"Tea, get the hell away from me," Shadow growled.
"What are you doing here?" Tea asked. "This is only the place for the best and the brightest."
"And you belong to neither," Shadow muttered, and Marie went into a fit of giggles.
Shadow hit her cup, while Tea yelled at Marie, and sent it crashing into Tea. The hot coffee burning her skin. "AHHHHHH!" Tea screamed. "YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!"
"It was an accident, I swear," Shadow said, holding up her hands as Marie when into another fit of giggles. "I believe we should get going. Marie, come on."
With a few more giggles Marie walked out with Shadow, leaving many customurs and staff laughing and a very very angry Tea.
