Meira: Chapter 8!

GLIB: *Now sitting with Kai* You're not as cold-hearted as your really are Kai.

Kai: Feh.

Kaiba: *Drags K-I-M over to him* This is a Yu-Gi-Oh! Fic! *To Kai* Get out of here!

Kai: Make me.

Meira: *loudly and angrily, practically screaming; everybody runs for cover* OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GLIB: *runs up to Kai* I guess you have to leave... *glares at Meira and mutters* Lousy web mistress... *to Kai* I'll miss you! *hugs him*

Kai: Same... *disappears*

Yami: Why the sudden change of heart Kaiba?

Meira: *holds up 'Change of Heart' card behind Kaiba* Hehe...

GLIB: *turns to Kaiba and hugs him*

Yami: *whispers to Kaiba* You were jealous, weren't you?

Kaiba: No.

Meira: *Uses one of Kaiba's Duel Disks* Brain Control! *Doesn't work* *throws Duel Disk on floor and stomps on it* *to Kaiba* I WANT A REFUND!!!

Kaiba: No refund!! I gave you that Duel Disk for your birthday!

Meira: *glares at him* Well, today's my UN-birthday!

Kaiba: So?

Meira: I'll tell your secret...

Kaiba: Fine! Here's your refund...

Meira: YAY!!! ^-^

Yami: *whispers to Kaiba* You're lying...

Meira: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh!, but I own Selena.

As soon as she and Kaiba reached their first period, Selena was summoned to the front.

"Selena Hisaki, correct?" the teacher asked.

"Yes."
The teacher stood up. "Class," she began. "This is Miss Hisaki, a new student." She turned toward Selena. "There are two seats left." Selena glanced around the room. "One by Mr. Mutou, and the other by Mr. Kaiba. Please choose your seat."

Selena looked at the two seats. The one next to Yugi was the absolute worst. Front and center! But the seat next to Kaiba... in the back and far from prying eyes.

Selena bit her lip. She felt more comfortable around Yugi, but Kaiba was her cousin.

"Which seat should I choose?" Selena asked herself.

"Miss Hisaki?" the teacher asked nervously. "Will you please choose your seat?"

"Um, yeah," Selena said quickly, going to the back to sit next to Kaiba. Everyone looked surprised.

Kaiba glared at her, and she glared right back at him.

"Mr. Kaiba, will you be Miss Hisaki's school guide for today?" the teacher asked.

Kaiba glared at the teacher, his expression clearly saying that he didn't want to.

"Well, then, Mr. Mutou," the teacher said, turning toward Yugi. "Will you be her school guide?" Yugi nodded briefly, and Selena's face turned red.

Meira: This chapter is mainly to introduce the conflict between Yugi and Kaiba...

Yugi and Kaiba: o.O

GLIB: Will I ever find out that secret?

Kaiba: No.

Meira: *simultaneously* Yes. *Kaiba and Meira glare at each other.*

Yugi: Bye!

Meira: *mutters* Egyptians spoil everything...

Yugi: *angry* That's Yami!

Yami: *sounding hurt* I thought that we were friends...

Meira: -.-

GLIB: I'm never gonna know, aren't I... By the way, *turns to Yami* Yami, you sounded like Téa...

Yami: *scared and running around screaming* AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
