Meira: Chapter 12!

Yami: Will you-

Meira: Hurry up? Okay. I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! Though I do own Selena.

Yami: No, I mean-

Meira: Write another FanFic? Okay!

Yami: Seriously-

Meira: Hit Kaiba? *slaps Kaiba*

Kaiba: *rubbing face* What was that for?

Meira: *points at Yami* He made me!

Kaiba: Wait here K-I-M…

GLIB: Okay! Just don't kill him…

Kaiba: I won't… *glares at Yami*

Yami: Eep.

Kaiba: *starts beating Yami up* *finishes* That felt good. *goes back to GLIB* You okay?

GLIB: Yeah. *starts kissing*

Meira: THERE WILL BE NO MORE VIOLENCE IN THIS COMMENTARY!!!

Yami: *with a black eye* Fine by me.

Meira: Say the disclaimer.

Yami: Meira doesn't own Yu-Gi-Oh! But she does own Selena.

Selena settled down at the game shop later that afternoon. Yugi had invited her to hang out with him, Joey, Tristan, and Téa at the game shop after school.

"Lemme see your deck" Joey demanded as soon as Selena had sat down.

"She just sat down!" Téa protested.

"No, it's fine," Selena replied, handing Joey her deck. But Yugi intervened.

"Yoink," he smirked.

You looked up at Yugi, who was standing behind her. Was it just her, or was Yugi suddenly more serious, his voice deeper, and... was he taller?

As 'Yugi' (Selena hasn't decided if Yugi had a Yami or a Hikari yet. What was she talking about? Everybody has a Hikari, unless somehow the Hikari disappeared. But she doubted that that was Yugi's case) went through her deck, he smirked. [Meira: Wait... is this Yugi or Yami that I'm writing about? Yami: *Jumps up and down* M- Yugi: *Clamps hand over Yami's mouth* *hisses* Shut Up!" Meira: Um... I'll ask K-I-M later.]

"Joey," 'Yugi' smirked, turning toward him. "Selena could beat you easily with this deck."

"WHAT?!?" Joey yelled. "I came in second place in Duelist Kingdom! No lousy beginner can defeat me!" He turned toward Selena. "I challenge you to a duel!!!"

Selena fidgeted nervously. "You guys," she stammered.

"What?" everyone asked in unison.

"I've never dueled before in my life..." Selena muttered, her cheeks turning red.

Everyone stared at her, while Selena looked at 'Yugi', who was still smirking.

"This is definitely NOT Yugi," she thought. This Yugi's voice was full of confidence. The Yugi that she knew was timid, would most likely never smirk.

"Joey," Tristan stammered. "Maybe you can teach Selena some dueling tips."

"Maybe," Selena muttered, still looking at Yugi.

"I'll teach her," Yugi offered. Selena nodded.

Half an hour later, 'Yugi's' was still trying to teach her the basics of how to use Magic and Trap cards. Selena felt frustrated, and her patience was wearing thin.

"Try again, Selena," 'Yugi' said.

"Don't act high and mighty with me," Selena muttered.

"Yeah," Joey said, mimicking Selena. "Don't act all high and mighty with me!" he laughed. "You should be nicer, Yug'!"

Yugi scowled, then turned to Selena. "Do this," he commanded, laying her Magical Hats card down.

Selena tried, but messed up again.

"Try it again," Yugi snapped.

At this, Selena's patience wore off.

"Listen, 'Yugi'," she snapped. "I don't care what you say."

'Yugi' looked surprised.

"It's like you have two halves!" Selena continued. "One nice, caring half, and one retarded half that thinks he's the Pharaoh of Egypt!"

Everybody turned their heads toward her, looks of shock and disbelief on their faces.

"What?" Selena asked, looking around.

`Yugi' sat down, literally collapsing.

Selena turned toward the rest of them. "What's going on?" she asked slowly.

"Nothing," Joey muttered.

"There's something," she said. "I just know it."

"Like what?" Téa shot at her. "Don't you think you've done enough damage yet?"

"Listen!" Selena shouted. "I feel like I've seen Yugi before somewhere. Some ancient tablet or something. Along with that weird pyramid thing around his neck!"

All of them just stared at her in disbelief.

"Alright…" `Yugi' said slowly. "I'll tell you."

"You mean you're actually going to tell her?" Téa asked angrily. "She's a complete stranger, and we barely even know her!"

"Téa!" `Yugi' shouted. "When Yugi met her on the train here, she trusted him by telling him why she came here, even though he was a complete stranger to her."

Téa looked hurt.

"Also," `Yugi' continued, his voice softening. "I feel that she may hold some of the answers that I seek." He turned toward Selena.

"Here's how it all began…"

Meira: So what'd you guys think?

Yami: It was good. I get to insult Selena!

Meira: I know.

Yami: I'm gonna be the King of the World!

Meira: THAT DOES IT!!! I'M CUTTING YOU OUT OF THE COMMENTARY!!!!

Yami: NOOOO!!!!

Meira: Then sut up.

Yami: Please -

Meira: SHUT UP!!!

Tristan: What's with GLIB and Kaiba over there? *points to the two of them*

Meira: They're going out.

Yami: o.O

Meira: Hehe… A little bit of Téa bashing here, only because she ruined another perfectly good episode. The last episode of Season 3. You know, the one where she takes Serenity around town? I only like the memories. It shows me a flashback of some of the episodes that I missed when I was on vacation, and the times before that when I'd lost interest in watching Yu-Gi-Oh! Looks like I missed out on a lot though… the last episode that I saw before Yami's duel with Marik was the one where they battled that 4-way battle. Wish I'd taped the episodes now… especially Yami's duel with Kaiba and Joey's duel with Marik. I wanna see those episodes… and I'm drabbling again.
