Meira: Chapter 14 - The Millennium Items!

Yami: So?

Meira: If you don't shut up, I'm gonna have to cut you out of the commentary!

GLIB: *sighs* You two can't stop fighting for a couple of minutes…

Yami and Meira: Nope.

Yami: It's my job to insult her! *glares at Meira*

Meira: It's my job to insult him! *glares at Yami*

GLIB: *To Yami* I thought your job was to save the world. *To Meira* And I thought your job was to finish this FanFic…

Yami and Meira: SHUT UP!!!

GLIB: I'll just sit down now… *sees her chair isn't there* Er… Yami… YOU BROKE MY CHAIR AGAIN!

Yami: Meira stole my Dark Magician!

Meira: Well, you stole my Blue Eyes Shining Dragon!

Yami and Meira: *glares at each other*

GLIB: *whispers to Kaiba* Yeech… they act like a couple…

Kaiba: Yeah.

Yami: Hmph.

Meira: Just say the disclaimer.

Yami: Meira owns Yu-Gi-Oh! And all it's characters.

Meira: Quit lying Yami. GLIB, you say the correct disclaimer.

GLIB: Fine. Meira does NOT own Yu-Gi-Oh! And all it's characters. But she does own Selena.

Selena looked at Yami nervously, and cleared her throat.

"I don't know that much," she said slowly. "But I know some."

"There were seven of the Millennium Items. The Millennium Ring, The Millennium Necklace, the Millennium Rod, the Millennium Scale, the Millennium Eye, the Millennium Key, and the Millennium Puzzle," she added, looking at Yami. [Meira: Too many Millenniums…]

"Each of the Millennium Items had it's own power that wielded a certain power. Shadow Magic. Each item could be used for good, or for bad."

Selena looked over at Yami. "Isn't it funny?" she laughed. "Your name means darkness, so that makes you Pharaoh Yami, which means Ruler of Darkness. That makes sense since -" she faltered when Yami glared at her, signaling her to go on with the story.

"Okay... well..."

"Go on..." Yami said.

"The Pharaoh had six priests. Each of them held a Millennium Item.

Priest Shadah had the Millennium Key, Priest Karum had the Millennium Scale, Priest Akunadin had the Millennium Eye, Priestess Aishisu had the Millennium Necklace, Priest Mahado had the Millennium Ring, and the High Priest Seto had the Millennium Rod."

"The High Priest SETO?" Yami asked incredulously.

Selena nodded. "Makes you think of Seto Kaiba, doesn't it? The carving that I saw of the High Priest even looks like him..."

Yami glared at her.

"Wait..." Téa said, frowning. "Bakura has the Millennium Ring..."

"Yeah..." Joey said slowly.

Selena raised an eyebrow. "You mean the Bakura here in Domino, or the King of Thieves?"

"The King of Thieves?" everybody asked in unison.

Selena nodded. "Yeah. Bakura the King of Thieves. He'd been sentenced to death, but then broke free somehow and went to get revenge on the Pharaoh.

But then Priest Mahado went and sacrificed himself, so Bakura got control of the Millennium Ring.

The High Priest Seto betrayed the Pharaoh later. I don't know much about that. But the part that really connects him to Seto is the Blue Eyes White Dragon, and the part that I think makes you the Pharaoh… is… that you're the Pharaoh…" Selena laughed. Yami glared at her again. "Oh, quit glaring at me!" she snapped.

"Then go on."

"Fine… then… But to save the world, the Pharaoh wiped his own memory clean. But he entrusted one family with his greatest secret. The truth about the boundless power of the Pharaoh.

That family was to protect the Pharaoh's tomb until his return. And since you've returned," Selena added, looking at Yami. "I guess they're out of work." Yami glared at her.

"I guess that would be the Ishtar family," Yami said.

"Ishtar?" Selena asked. Something clicked in her brain. "As in Marik Ishtar?"

Yami stared at her. "You know Marik?"

"My dad met him twelve years ago in Egypt. In a marketplace or something. So you mean my dad met the tomb keeper?"

Yami nodded. "I guess so."

"What do the Millennium Items do?" Tristan asked.

"The Millennium Key can let a person enter another's mind. They can screw up your mind and change your personality with a single command.

The Millennium Rod can control people's minds. But for the less fortunate, it can also be used as a club." Selena laughed. Yami glared at her again.

"Okay..." Selena grumbled, glaring at Yami. "The Millennium Eye can judge a person's heart with a single question. The person must answer truthfully, or they'll be severely punished.

The Millennium Ring can track other Millennium Items. I don't know much about it.

The Millennium Necklace can see into the past and the future, so the Priestess could warn the Pharaoh about things.

The Millennium Puzzle is the greatest of the Millennium Items. It holds the boundless energies of the Pharaoh himself. It's power is pretty much infinite."

Yami looked at Selena. "Anything else that you conveniently forgot to mention?" he asked sarcastically.

"Yeah. Just the fact that the Yami today is a pointless, idiotic, maniac that doesn't know what the word courtesy means."

"Maybe you don't know what courtesy means."

Selena glared at him. "You know, me telling you guys about the Millennium Items AND your past would be easier if you just stopped glaring at me!" she yelled, her eyes shooting daggers at him.

Joey was pretty sure that if looks could kill, Yami'd have dropped dead right there.

"Anything else?" Yami asked, more politely, though everyone could tell that he was fuming at Selena's retort.

"Oh yeah. The Pharaoh and the High Priest were related."

Meira: So Yami finds out about the Millennium Items.

Yami: Good. Now can I-

Meira: Go away.

Yami: Nope.

Meira: Why?

Yami: `Cause if I go away, where's the excitement?

Meira: In the story.

Yami: o.O

GLIB: *shakes head* I don't wanna know… So… Seto's in the bathroom. So can I know the secret now?

Meira: I'll tell you at the end of the story. Chapter 21!

GLIB: *anime fall*
