Meira: AARGH!!! *smashes stuff*

GLTB: Again with the chair… what's wrong?

Meira: I SPENT FIVE BUCKS ON A BOOSTER PACK, AND ALL I GOT WAS NINE LOUSY CARDS!!!

GLTB: Oh yeah… So… since it's the end, what the heck is that secret?

Meira: I'm so mad… Yami'll tell you.

Yami: But I don't know it!

Meira: Tell her…

GLTB: WHAT IS IT? Yeesh…

Meira: Kaiba blows stuff up when he's mad. That's why Yami's hair is like that. In spikes, you know.

GLTB: o.O… Don't wanna know…

Kaiba: I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TOLD HER!

Meira: Yup. Yami's hair is blown up. But Yugi sticks his fingers in electrical sockets…

GLTB: …

Meira: Yup. And you all should be happy… three updates in a row. But this story has an epilogue… I have to decide whether or not to put that in though…

And I had a major case of writer's block when I was writing this chapter… shows how far writing a chapter at midnight can take you…

Yami: Come on… you can't make this story any worse…

Meira: *bows head down in shame* I know…

Selena put down her diary. Here she was, on a train to Domino. For the first time in five long years. She was still deep in thought when she heard a voice behind her.

"Selena. Selena Hisaki," a voice said, sounding amused.

"Yeah?" she asked, turning around, looking into the face of Yugi Mutou. "Yugi!" she exclaimed, standing up.

"Hey!" he said, sitting down in the seat across from her. "Isn't it ironic?" he asked, smiling. "When I first met you, you were on a train to Domino. And here you are, on a train to domino. This is the first time I've seen you in a year!"

"A year?" Selena asked. "I haven't been back here for five years!"

"I saw you on tv," Yugi said, smiling.

"You still duel?" Selena asked.

"Mm-hm," Yugi answered. "But only for fun now. No more dueling to save the world or anything like that…" The two of them laughed, recalling the days that Yugi and Yami dueled to save mankind from evil forces that were out to take over the world.

"So, what have you been doing lately?" Yugi asked.

"You know, the usual," Selena shrugged. "Getting my Ph.D in medicine and stuff. What about you?"

"Not much. I work as a computer technician for a company in town. Not Kaiba Corp.," he added hastily, seeing the look on her face.

"Then what're you doing here?"

"Business trip."

"Oh," Selena replied. She thought that Yugi looked strange without his puzzle. She had for a long time.

"You remember when you first went to Domino?" Yugi asked.

"Yeah. We waited a gazillion hours for Seto at the station." Selena replied. The two of them laughed again.

"So, what do you plan on doing once you get to Domino?" Yugi asked curiously.

"You remember the paintings in my room at Seto's old house?"

"Yeah. It looked a lot like I'd walked into the Shadow Realm." Yugi shuddered. "But the paintings were good."

"Yeah… I want to go back there. See if they're still there."

"You know," Yugi said, biting his lip. "Kaiba sold that house."

"I know," Selena sighed. "I want to see if the new owners kept the paintings."

"Want me to come with you?"

"No," Selena said. "This is something I want to do myself." Yugi nodded, understanding.

"You want to see Yami again."

Selena blushed.

Selena looked outside the former Kaiba mansion. It looked so different now, just like the rest of Domino. She had been shocked by the changes. Everything had changed.

She pressed the button on the intercom. A voice crackled over the intercom. "Hello?"

"Hi, this is Selena Hisaki-"

"You mean the North American champion?" a little boy's voice said excitedly.

"Yeah, but-"

"Come in!" the boy's voice said. The gates clicked open.

Selena walked in and up the drive. The place was so different than what she remembered.

She walked up to the door, and before she could ring the doorbell, the door flung open.

"Mommy, mommy!" the boy shouted. "It really is Selena Hisaki! The girl who pulled off such an amazing finish at the North American Championship! It really is-"

"Calm down, Billy," a woman laughed, coming over to the door. "You're probably scaring her." [Meira: Her and the rest of the readers… Yami: -.-] She looked at Selena. "And since when does the North American Champion have time to come here to Domino? Especially our home?" Before Selena could answer, the little boy dragged Selena into their home. Selena looked around. Everything in this house seemed to be different, from the wall color to the carpet and furnishings.

"Well, so why do we have the pleasure of having you here?" the woman asked.

Selena smiled. "I used to live here in Domino. In this very house, to be exact."

The woman smiled. "My name is Yoko, and this is Billy," she said, gesturing toward the little boy.

"Mommy, did you hear that?" Billy said, excited. "Selena used to live here!"

"Yes, Billy. I heard her." Yoko said patiently. She turned back to Selena. "Billy has been obsessed with Duel Monsters ever since he saw your duels in the North American championship. And when we moved here, we were lucky to find a room decorated with Duel Monsters! Billy was so happy!"

Selena smiled. "This house seems to have changed a lot."

Yoko smiled, clearly happy that Selena had noticed. "Yes, we remodeled this entire house, except for Billy's room. What do you think?"

"Well, it's certainly better than the layout that Seto had in this house…" They all laughed.

"I thought you were from Tokyo," Billy said, frowning.

"I grew up in Tokyo, but when I was sixteen, I moved here," Selena said patiently. "Moving here changed my life."

"Why?" Billy asked, curious.

"Because I met Yugi Mutou."

"King of Games, Battle City, and KC Grand Prix champion?" Billy asked. Selena nodded. Billy nodded eagerly and raced up the stairs. Selena and Yoko followed.

Billy raced through the door of her old room. Selena stepped in. Billy had kept the walls the same, except for the stretch of wall with only the Shadow Realm design on it. There he had tacked some pictures of Duel Monsters. Selena smiled.

"This used to be my room," Selena said softly. "I remember painting these walls. Seto was so mad when I painted the Dark Magician."

"You mean this was your room?" Billy asked. "And you painted it?" Selena nodded. "Cool! Wait `til I tell my friends! They'll be so jealous!"

Selena smiled. "Billy," she said slowly. "When I painted this wall, my friend Yami asked me why I didn't paint much on this wall. I told him that I didn't know what to paint. I know now." She turned toward him. "Do you mind if I paint one last thing?"

Billy didn't mind - he was more than eager for her to paint something in his room. He ran off and came back with a load of spray paints. Selena smiled at him and started.

On the left, she painted the seven millennium items. On the right, she painted the Ankh. But in the middle, she left a swirling array of colors.

She looked at the colors. If only Yami could see this…

"You never did forget me, did you?" a voice said softly behind her. Selena turned, and there was Yami, with the Millennium Puzzle hanging around his neck.

"Yami!" she yelled, flinging her arms around him. "You're back, I can't believe you're back."

"It's okay, Selena," Yami whispered. "I cant' stay long. I came because I felt you calling me," he said, looking at the swirling array of colors.

"You left so suddenly," Selena whispered. "I didn't have a chance to say goodbye."

"You don't have to," Yami said, touching her Ankh necklace. "The Ankh means eternity."

"I know," Selena whispered.

Yami lifted her face up to his. "I should have done this long ago," he whispered, kissing her softly.

Selena looked into those lavender eyes. She knew he couldn't stay long. Even if she was I Egypt, he would be the Pharaoh, and she a commoner.

"Forever," Yami whispered. "One last time… I came here to see you one last time." Selena nodded.

Yami walked off, smiling at her, through the array of colors.

Selena blinked. Yami was gone. This time forever.

Billy walked into the room. "Wow," he commented. "This room looks awesome!" he looked at the swirling array of colors. "What's that for?" he asked.

"Not now," Selena whispered. Billy looked at her.

"Can you sign this?" he asked shyly, holding out something.

"Sure," Selena said, smiling at him. She took the picture. It was one of her dueling. She knew exactly what to write.

Billy-

This Sorcerer of Dark Magic Card brought me many victories… even since my first duel. It's your turn. Take good care of it.

Remember - Always believe in the Heart of the Cards, and never give up. Your friends will always be there to support you.

--Selena

Billy looked at the picture and read it.

"What do you mean?" he asked. Selena put her Sorcerer of Dark Magic card in his hand.

"You mean it's mine?" he gasped. Selena nodded.

"Take good care of it," she whispered.

"Thank you!" Billy said, sounding very pleased. He looked at the swirling array of colors again. "What's in there?" I keep feeling like there's another picture hidden in there… but I don't know what."

"I'm not sure either," Selena whispered, even though she knew she was lying. She knew perfectly well what she had painted.

Yami's Eyes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Meira: The ending's so… sad.
GLTB: Yeah, it is. V.V
Yami: So I'm gone forever?
Meira: Then why are you still here?
GLTB: You're nice… I actually want him to stay… just so long as he stops breaking my chair that is.
Meira: Fine. Monster Reborn!
Yami: -.- I still have the puzzle.
GLTB: ?... I'm confused…
Meira: I was using it on Yami… but he's a person.
GLTB: -.- *sighs* Chair's broken again… *sits on Kaiba's lap*
Kaiba: I can't believe you're favoring Yami…
Meira: So? You're not the one who has to leave…
GLTB: Seto, you don't have to leave too, right?
Meira: He can't. He's in my next story.
Yami: Me too?
Meira: Maybe.
GLTB: YAY! You're all staying!!!
Meira: Maybe I should replace Yami with Yugi…
GLTB: You could use both of them…
Meira: But Yugi doesn't annoy me…
GLTB: -.- Just let Yami stay… *puppy dog eyes* Please?
Meira: If you act like Joey, I'll have Kaiba go… … Forget about it…
Yami: o.O
GLTB: @.@
---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------`
My views on this story:
Meira: *shudders* Remind me never to write another story like this again… the plot is pointless…
I was actually proud that I'd finished this story at the beginning of September. (Lol… I write fast, don't I?) But after writing some of my other FanFics… I kinda wish that this one could be better.
Also remind me never to pair Yami/Atem/Atemu/Pharaoh Bel um Fal/Yami no Yugi/YamiYugi/insert any other names he has with anyone again. *shudders* I hate that pairing…
My rating: 3/10, as this is my first Fic. That's considered high in my point of view…
