Chapter Three
After court was over Zella was walking home with her friends. Lisa told Zella she had a lovely voice and that she was the best singer in the class. The other three agreed with Lisa. When they got to the point were they had to part ways to head home Zella told her friends she would see them later tonight after she said that Lisa and the other girls told Zella they had to stay home so their parents to try and find out why they aren’t in their rooms at night. Zella told them it was alright after saying their goodbyes and with that she started to walk to the palaces. As she was walking Zella heard a scream that came from the ally right next to her. Zella ran into the ally and saw a vampire trying to bite a girl named Nixie who she know from court. Zella took out her wooden dagger and walked over to the two she pulled the vampire off Nixie and stabbed him in the heart as he fill to the ground and turned into ashes. Zella walked over to Nixie and asked if she was alright. Nixie looked up and saw that it was Zella that saved her. She told Zella she was alright and thanked her for saving her life. Zella told her she was happy to help with that Zella watched Nixie take off. Zella started on her way to the palaces when Yugi and Ryou walked up to her. Both boys smiled at her. Zella, “Hello Prince Yugi and Ryou what can I do for you two?” Ryou looked at Zella and said, “We wanted to walk back to the palaces with you.” Zella smiled and said she was happy to have them walk with her. All three started to walk home. When they got to the palace, Anzu greeted them at the door. She told Yugi and Ryou that Atemu wanted to see them and that she’d show Seraph to her new room. With that Yugi and Ryou went to the throne room and Anzu and Seraph walked to her new room talking about all types of things on the way.In the thrown room.Pharaoh Atemu and his court were talking and trying to find away to make sure the servants stopped going out to the town to kill. At that time Yugi and Ryou walked in and the two suggested that they could use animal blood for everyone so they wouldn’t go after humans. Mana looked at Mahado, her loving husband, and they both know they had to tell the pharaoh and the others about their daughter. Mahado looked at all of them trying to find away to tell them. Set noticed this and asked the high mage what was wrong. Mahado said, “ Prince Yugi, that was a great idea, but there’s one person in the palace that’s not a vampire… Or knows that the palace and her parents are vampires.” Pharaoh Atemu smiled at his high mage and his wife and asked if the person they were talking about was their daughter. Mana told him that he was right and hoped he didn’t get mad. Set smiled as well and told the two not to worry and that not one servants would after their daughter.Anzu and ZellaThe two made it to Zella’s new room. Anzu open the door and let her childhood friend into her new room. Zella walked into her room smiling and turned to Anzu telling her that the room was bigger than her room at her old house. Anzu smiled back and told her that all the rooms in the palace were like this room. Anzu told Zella she had to get going and left Zella’s room and closed her door. Zella smiled and started to put her things away.Anzu looked at her friend’s door and was worried that Zella would get hurt seeing she was the only human in the palace. Later that night after getting her room straightened Zella went out into the gardens and walked around. After about an hour Zella decided to go back into the palaces as she got close to the palace, a vampire came behind Zella, grabbed her and attacked her. Zella screaming and tried to get the vampire off of her. Zella was screaming so hard she soon past out.
In the palaces.Pharaoh Atemu and the others were talking when they heard a scream. They looked up and wondered what was going on outside in the garden. Both Honda and Isis heard someone screaming from the garden The two ran to the garden Honda, Isis, saw one of the servants getting ready to bite Zella. Honda ran over to the servant and knocked him off of Zella Isis walked over to Zella and picked her up. Honda took the servant to the throne room Isis carried the unconscious Zella into the palace. Honda led the vampire into the throne room as Isis took Zella down the hall in her arms. Ryou and Bakura looked up to see Honda come in with a servant and Isis‘s shadow running down the hallway. The two ran out of the throne after Isis. Prince Yugi saw his friend drag the servant in, “Honda what’s wrong and what was the screaming about.?”.Honda looked at Yugi then looked at Mahado and Mana then said, “This servant attacked someone.” Jou asked Honda who did the servant attack. “I hate to say this but this servant attacked Zella.” Both the prince and pharaoh saw red. Mana let out a loud cry and ran to her daughter’s room. Atemu told Honda to put him in the dungeon and that tomorrow he will be killed. He instructed that the other servants be there so they would know what would happen to them if they went after Seraph. Putting two and two together, Atemu now knew who were killing the vampires that went into the city. Honda took the servant to the dungeons. Everyone ran to Zella’s room.In Zella’s room.Isis got Zella changed into her night gown and put her to bed. She sat by the bed with a piece of cloth and a bowl of water. Wetting the cloth in the water and ringing it out, Isis put it on Zella’s forehead. Mana ran into the room and over to her daughter. Falling to her knees the Mage started to cry. Isis told Mana that Zella would be alright she, just as unconscious from being attacked, she wouldn‘t change. Mana thanked Isis before the others ran into the room. Malik said, “Sister, is Zella going to be alright?” Isis told them exactly what she had told Mana.
