Chapter three: the first challenger part one

I had been walking for about twenty minutes looking at the empty stadiums. "well I should find a mountain arena for my dragons, and probably a dark background for a few of my monsters" I said to myself. I kept walking, not noticing two people pass by me. I was listening to them talking, not purposly.

"hey is that drago?" asked the tall red-haired boy. "yeah that's him, but why is he hear? If I was pegasus I wouldn't invite him. I mean the guy almost beat seto kaiba, he got him down to 100 life points" said the other boy with platinum hair.

"87 life points to be exact……….but you wouldn't know, you weren't there" I said walking up to them.

"so your drago, my name's seth, I've got four star chips. Would you like to duel?" asked the platinum haired boy. "I guess, which stadium?" I asked. Seth looked around.

"there, that one in the middle of that big crowd, I want everyone to see how good I am by beating the second best duelist in the world!" he and his friend ron walked to the stadium followed by me. As I walked in the crowds towards the stadium. I noticed some people whispering.

"hey it's drago!" "drago? You mean that's drago"

"awesome, now well get to see a real duelist in action" "yeah, no one can beat drago!"

"yeah kaiba just cheated, or drago was just going easy on him" a couple of people were saying.

"alright I'm sure you know the rules of the game lets start!" seth said.

"DUEL!"

Seth's life points: 2000

Drago's life points: 2000

"I'll go first" I said. "I attack with the mighty hyozanryu (2100/2800) in attack mode" seth studied my opening and chuckled somewhat. "what's so funny?" I asked. "this, go steel orge grotte #2(1900/2200) in attack mode, and I will combine it with limiter removal(this magic card doubles the attack of all machine monsters on your side of the field, once your turn is over all of your machine monsters are destroyed, but with no life points taken) to make his strength go to 3800. Attack with earthquake fist!!" I started laughing hystericly.

"why are you laughing?!?!?" seth screamed. "cause even a low level knows that flying types can't be hurt by land monsters, you wasted two good cards and now it's gonna cost ya." I lifted up my hand and pointed my index inger and the black machine. "Hyozanru, diamond dust attack!!" the dragon let out a blue beam of incredible energy obliterating the giant statue out of existence.

"so how many life points would I have lost, subtract 3800 from 2100 seth and you've just lost 1700 life points cause of your stupid mistake" I said casually

seth's life points: 300

drago's life points: 2000

seth thought to himself. "I must draw my strongest card there isn't a way to beat him other wise, but it wont matter I'll destroy him with my ultimate monster" he snickered.

"once my magician is on the field I'll win and be the ultimate!!"

what is seth's strongest monster, I'll give you a hint, it's a magcician, and has an attack over 2000, ok that pretty much gives it away.

Oh well, if you figure it out don't spoil it for the others. I'm out of here bye!
