Chapter 6 Bakura Ryou vs. Seto Kaiba

Hey everyone, Jacob here, with chapter number six! This chapter will actually have the play-by-play of Bakura and Kaiba's duel!

I am actually currently working on my new fic, Bring me to Life, and I don't have my old writing buddy, Kaiser, with me anymore, so I doing them alone now!

Oh, by the way, anyone who wants to know, Bring me to Life may be a song by Evanescence, but I didn't intend it to have any connection with it. {I just thought the name sounded cool!}

By the way I don't own Yugioh, I own a couple cards in this chapter but not in the legal way, so, um, enjoy the first round of the SKC!

Bakura sat down at the table, across from Seto Kaiba, World Champion of Duel Monsters, about to face him in the first battle of the Challenge.

But then a strange thing happened, Bakura felt like his soul was on fire! The next minute he felt completely different, like he was prepared to take on any obstacle!

"Ready Kaiba?" asked this new Bakura.

Seto could see it too, Bakura's normal green eyes were suddenly chocolate brown, and his normally smooth white hair was spikey.

"I'm ready, Bakura Ryou!" said Seto briskly.

Bakura and Seto both removed their decks, and the announcers, just as startled by Bakura's change as everyone else, needed Kaiba to say, "Are you guys going to just sit there all day or are you going to say begin!?"

The Announcers were so startled they barely let out, "begin…"

Thus, the battle started, Bakura went first. {By the way, For the battle, I'm going to use my old script technique, I find it easier when you have to switch back and forth! I won't use it all the time though!}

Bakura: First, I will play one defense card and two M/T cards, GO!

Seto grinned at his hand, it held the card he needed, but first…

Seto: Okay then, I shall play the Battle Ox!

Bakura looked at the Battle Ox on the table and smiled, Seto was doing exactly what he had forseen, the strange thing was, how had he forseen it?

Seto: Battle Ox! Attack the defense card!

The card had been flipped face up, revealing the Zombie Card, "Royal Keeper"

Seto: What is that card?

Bakura: When it is flipped face up, it gains an ATK boost by 300, making it more powerful then your Battle Ox!

Bakura: And I activate one of my face down magic cards, Shield and Sword! Making you lose 1000 life points! {I know you can't do that, but I wanted to make it exciting!}

Seto then looked into the brown eyes of Bakura and stated, "I will play a face down M/T card, GO!

Life Points: Bakura: 4000 Seto: 3000

Bakura: It's my turn now; since your turn is over my Royal Keeper's attack power returns to normal, but I don't need it anymore! I offer my Royal Keeper to play Great Dezard in Attack mode! Great Dezard, attack Battle Ox!

Seto: Not so fast! Mirror Force!

Bakura then looked at Seto with such a grin that you would almost think that Seto was wearing a dunce cap.

Bakura: Perfect, Ultimate Offering! You really didn't think I would have such a pathetic card in my deck for no reason, did you?

Seto stared at Bakura with a look of Anger in his eyes, but deep down, there was fear.

Bakura: Since Great Dezard is still Alive for now, I will pay 500 life points to offer him to play "Pharois Richie, the King of the Undead!"

Seto looked at him wide eyed in fear at the card that was before him, The picture on the card really did seem like the King of the Undead!

"Hmm, I guess if you don't want to attack I'll set one M/T card." said Bakura sounding like there really isn't any reason to keep dueling…

Bakura then looked at Seto, Bakura's eyes were dancing with laughter as he said, "You can go if you want…"

Kaiba thought that this was the end no matter how great the card that he was going to draw was, until he saw it that is…

Kaiba looked at Bakura and said, "Bakura Ryou, you were a mighty duelist, for a minute there I really thought I was going to lose, until now…"

"Allow me to show you why I'm the World Champion!" bellowed Seto.

Everyone in the audience looked over at Seto, curious as to what was about to happen…

Seto: I offer my Battle Ox, to play the Kaiser Seahorse!

Bakura looked at Seto and said, "A seahorse, that's you're master play?"

Seto: No you fool! I use your ultimate offering to offer my seahorse to play the Blue eyes White Dragon! {For people who don't know, Kaiser Seahorse's effect is that it counts for two offerings for a light monster, and Blue eyes is a light monster!}

Everyone in the audience looked at Kaiba's dragon, amazed that they could see such a rare monster in front of them.

"It can't be…He has the second Blue eyes White Dragon!" cried Solomon from the dugout.

In fact, the only person who didn't look worried was the very person who should look worried, Bakura himself…

Bakura: OK, the Blue Eyes White Dragon, so what!

Seto: What! The Blue Eyes White Dragon is the most powerful card in the game!

Bakura: Alone it is, go on, attack…

Seto looked at Bakura wondering what he could be up to, and said, "Blue Eyes White Dragon, attack Pharois Richie, King of the Undead!"

Bakura looked back and cried, "Negate Attack!" freezing Blue Eyes in place!

Bakura through his Silver bangs back, and said, "Now the finish!"

Bakura: Zombrya the Dark, servant of Pharois Richie, come forth!

He played a card which had a skeleton in a tuxedo and top hat on the picture…

Bakura: And I equip you with Axe of Despair!

Seto felt like his whole world was crumbling around him, he was going to lose to an eleven year old!

Bakura smiled, knowing he was tormenting Kaiba's soul, he continued the finale, "Attack Blue eyes white dragon, Zombrya!

"Blue eyes White Dragon was defeated!" thought Kaiba, how could this be!

"I equip you Pharois Richie, with Violet Crystal!" cried Bakura.

Seto couldn't take this, he, the world champion, was going to lose to a amateur!

Bakura: Pharois Richie! Attack Seto directly!

Life points: Bakura 3500, Seto 0

Kaiba had lost, Bakura had won, it took a full minute for people to comprehend this, but when they did, they all cheered louder then they ever did before.

Bakura's eyes were back to their normal green, and his hair was smooth again, he wondered what happened to him, what gave him that strength, whatever it was, he wouldn't have won without it!

The Announcers came running down to Bakura to award him his ticket to Egypt, "Congratulations Bakura Ryou, You've won an all expense paid trip to Sunny, very, very sunny, Egypt! Land of the Pharoahs!"

Bakura took the ticket happily and walked back to the dugout, where Solomon shook his hand, and Mai gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Keith and Necromancer on the other hand, weren't exactly happy for the kid, Necromancer was furious at the fact that, even though he would never admit it, Bakura had a better Zombie deck then him!

Keith on the other hand, could care less, he didn't care about Egypt or Bakura winning, he just wanted to defeat Kaiba!

After the Excitement died down the next battle would be decided, "Okay everyone, we're all excited for Bakura, but we have to keep the train moving!" the annoucers said, "The next battle will be Seto Kaiba, of course, versus…The Necromancer!

"It's just Necromancer!" cried Necromancer, "It's my name!"

"Okay, great, two zombie battles in a row, what do you know!" said the announcer.

Necromancer made his way out of the dugout and stuck his toungue out at Bakura.

Seto on the other hand, was not feeling so good, but he was prepared to duel for his pride back!

So the two sat down at different sides of the table and prepared to duel!
