Prologue: Luna, a run-away and orphan, had settled in Domino City. She was working multiple jobs to keep up payment on the rent of her small apartment. She had been in an orphanage for a few years, along with her younger sister. They had been sent to different homes, but got back to each other with the help of Seto Kaiba. Unfortunately, the two Masaki sisters had been kicked out of their apartment soon after they had found each other.

Meanwhile Kaiba had noticed a sort of friendship growing between him and Luna. He was in love with Mad. Mad was Luna's best friend, and they rarely kept secrets from each other, till now.

Luna couldn't take everything that was going on. She loved Tristan and she knew he loved her. But she had noticed that she and Kaiba were starting to grow together. She and Rose had been staying at the Kaiba mansion since the landlord of their apartment had kicked them out because Luna didn't have enough money to pay the rent. There was other things going wrong but she couldn't bear to think of it all. She was now standing on a cliff that overlooked the shore.

Her Yami was pleading with her not to do it, but the ancient spirit was powerless to stop her.

/Aibou, please no!/

Luna didn't answer her Yami. She was about to jump when someone grabbed her by the arm and pulled her backwards. She thought she was going to see Tristan, but when she turned she realized it was Kaiba.

"W-what are you doing here, Kaiba?" she asked. Her voice was a little shaky.

He didn't answer her question and launched right into his own.

"What did you think you were doing?!?!?!" he was angry at her for her attempted suicide. His blue eyes burned into her violet ones, causing her to look away.

Luna had tears running down her face. "I was just ridding the world of a useless fool who couldn't keep it together," she said coldly.

He simply glared at her. "No. You're not going to kill yourself as long as I'm here."

She sighed, knowing there was no use in arguing with him.

Inside, Kaiba had been more afraid than he had let on to anyone. He was uneasy with the bond that was growing between him and Luna.

Luna was still crying though, and this tore at Kaiba mentally and emotionally. He sighed watching Luna, who was a few inches from him.

"Calm down!" he knew she was going to get over this one way or another.

She turned, looking up into his blue eyes. He put one arm around her trying to get her to calm down. She had started crying into his coat a moment ago. He let her cry till she seemed to be calming down.

"Are you okay now?" He was looking down at her face, which was red from crying.

She nodded slightly while wiping her eyes. She didn't realize till now how close to Kaiba she was standing. Her face was starting to get a little red when she realized where she was.

They stood there silent for a few minutes. After a moment or so Luna went up and kissed Kaiba on the cheek.

That move started a sort of chain reaction and after that, things started to get heated.

< Luna: OK, me and Lady Kaiba are having a little argument here.
Lady Kaiba: Make it descriptive!
Luna: NO!!!! If you want the part to be descriptive you write it then!
Lady Kaiba: ACK! NO!
Luna: Then it's not gonna be descriptive!
Lady Kaiba: Write it descriptive!
(Argument ensues)
Luna: You're the one who came up with the idea and I'm the one writing this whole thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So either write this part yourself or else it's not gonna go into detail!!!!!!!!!
Lady Kaiba: Grr! >

Anyway, Luna's Yami was trying to get Luna to realize what she was doing. Unfortunately, not even the ancient Egyptian spirit could get her to realize her mistake till it was too late. It wasn't until a few weeks later that Luna realized what had actually happened, because it was then that she found out that she was pregnant.

"Oh Ra, what have I done?" she whispered to no one. She had found out by herself with one of those little home tests. It felt like the world had come down on her. What was she going to tell Tristan? Tristan was in love with her. What was she going to tell Mad? After all, Mad was in love with Kaiba, not to mention she was her best friend. She sat down and began sobbing till she saw Mad walking by.

She saw her best friend sitting on the ground sobbing. So, naturally, Mad went over to find out what was wrong.

"Hey Luna, what's wrong?" she asked in a worried tone. She didn't know anything of what had happened between Luna and Kaiba.

Her friend's silence was unnerving. When Luna got up and ran from her she became even more worried, but decided to let it go. Mad walked away from the area and headed towards where she was supposed to meet Kaiba. She sighed; she didn't understand what was wrong with her friend. Why was she acting so strange today?

To make matters worse, Luna ran into Tristan. He also tried to get her to tell him what was wrong, but, as with Mad, Luna ran. She could hear his footsteps behind her but didn't try to stop him from following.

"Luna, wait!" he was more concerned about Luna then Mad was.

Luna kept running till she stopped to climb up a tree. She sat on one of the branches, still crying. Tristan climbed up the tree and sat on the branch next to her. "Come on, Luna. Tell me what's wrong!"

She still couldn't tell him. She knew he'd probably hate her. She just looked at the ground and remained silent. He put an arm around her pulling her closer to him.

"Tell me, Luna."

"I...I...I can't!" she whispered still looking at the ground.

"Come on! Please Luna!" A worried tone was quite noticeable in his voice.

She didn't answer him; instead she leapt off the tree branch and ran. She was headed towards the Kaiba mansion, when she spotted Kaiba and Mokuba in the park. She ran over to them quickly.

"Kaiba...we have to talk."

The older boy glanced at his younger brother. "Mokuba, we'll only be a minute. Why don't you go play?"

The young dark haired boy nodded to his big brother then ran off towards a group of other children about his age.

Luna quietly told him what happened and watched the horrified expression spread on his face. He fell to his knees, the look of shock still on his face. How did he let this happen? He felt guilty now.

Luna couldn't take it. She ran away from the park and everyone. After a while she found herself at the beach, standing on the same cliff as before. She didn't jump this time though, just stood there thinking.

/Aibou?/

It was Luna's Yami talking to her. Sometimes she was glad that she had the spirit to speak with when she couldn't talk to anyone else. So, for a while, she spoke with her Yami.

Meanwhile Kaiba was starting to get over the shock of the news. He quickly got back to his feet after a few minutes, in which time Mokuba had been trying to make sure he was alright.

Kaiba looked down at his little brother. "I'm fine, Mokuba. Um..." he quickly was thinking up an excuse when he was interrupted by Mad, who had just run over to them.

"Hey, Seto. Hey, Mokuba." She smiled nicely although she was still worried.

After Mokuba went back over to the group of other children, Mad asked Kaiba if he had seen Luna yet today. He told her that he had seen her but she had quickly left. He wasn't ready to tell Mad what had happened. Mad sighed. Her friend sure was acting weird.

"Oh well. Thanks, Seto," she said. "I think I'm gonna go look for her so I can find out what's wrong."

Mad walked away, leaving Kaiba and Mokuba in the park.

After a while Mad saw Tristan. She quickly ran over to him, having noticed the worried expression on his face.

"Hey, Tristan! What's wrong with you?"

He sighed then looked at Mad. "I saw Luna and she was acting really weird. When I tried to get her to tell me what was wrong she just ran."

"The same thing happened when I talked to her," she sighed. This was going to be harder than she thought.

"We better keep looking for her. If whatever's bothering her is that big then no one can know what she'll do." Just that thought struck fear into his heart. What if Luna tried to...? No, he wouldn't think about it.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's go. Sometimes she heads to the beach when she needs to think. We should check there."

Tristan nodded and they hurried towards their destination hoping to find Luna.

Luna sighed. After a while her Yami had convinced her that she should tell Mad and Tristan everything, including what had happened. She didn't know how she was going to explain it to them. How could she tell her boyfriend that she had done something with someone else, let alone that someone else being Kaiba? And how could she tell her best friend, who was in love with Kaiba, what she had done? It was too much to bear and she began to think about jumping.

Upon arriving in the area, Tristan immediately looked for Luna. She wasn't that hard to spot, since she was the only other person on the beach at the time.

"Mad, look! It's Luna!" he saw that she was standing awfully close to the edge and became panic stricken when he realized she was going to jump.

Mad stopped for a moment, shocked. In that time Tristan was already running top speed to Luna in an attempt to keep her from the suicidal leap.

She stood on the edge of the cliff like the first time, but she was stopped once again. She turned looking up to see that it was Tristan who pulled her back. She looked up into his brown eyes. She was crying once again. He was holding her close to him.

Mad ran over quickly to her two friends. "Luna! What were you doing?!"

The sandy-haired girl remained silent and just looked down at the ground.

Back at the park, Kaiba had gotten to thinking. He had known where Luna would probably be. Deciding he had better go before anything happened, he looked over at his little brother.

"Mokuba, why don't you head home? I should be back in about an hour or so. I have something to take care of."

The young dark-haired boy looked up at his big brother.

"Okay, Seto!" He had that innocent smile on his face as he headed back to the mansion that both Kaiba brothers called home.

Meanwhile, Kaiba headed towards the shore. He knew in the back of his mind that Luna would be there.

He saw Mad, Tristan, and Luna on one of the cliffs and walked over to them his eyes downcast.

"Maybe I should help explain," he said calmly. Inside his mind was a wreck.

After about 30 minutes of explaining, crying, panicking, yelling, and more crying, everything was basically understood. Mad was staring at the ground and crying a river. Kaiba hugged Mad trying to comfort her some. Luna was crying into Tristan's shirt.

Tristan had a blank look on his face. Inside he was arguing with himself. Part of him wanted to yell at Kaiba and force him to take all the blame. But part of him knew deep down that Luna should take some blame as well. He knew that she could have stopped this from happening. But what's done is done and it can't be changed. He ignored that part of him that knew Luna was a bit to blame and didn't act on his urge to yell at Kaiba. Instead he yelled at himself mentally. He hugged Luna. He couldn't find it in him to stay angry at her.

"I'm really sorry." Kaiba's voice was barely a whisper as he spoke to Mad.

"It's ok, Kaiba." Mad turned her head a bit to look in his eyes. She was still crying a bit but she had forgiven him.

The same sort of scene happened with Luna and Tristan. Tristan, of course, forgave Luna. Luna hugged Tristan and was still crying a bit. The group stood that way they were for a few minutes till everyone was calmed down.

Several months later Kaiba, Mad, and Tristan were in the waiting room of the hospital. They were anxious to find out if their friend was alright. The doctor came out and walked over to them.

"It's a boy," was all the man in the white said.

Mad and Kaiba hugged each other while Tristan was the first one in to see Luna. Mad and Kaiba went in a few minutes later. The baby boy had the same blue eyes as Kaiba. He would have pale brown hair like his mother when he was older.

After she was out of the hospital, Luna went to the adoption center with the young child, who was named Kelo <Luna, since I'm the one writing this, I made this name up off the top of my head. It's pronounced key-low, okay?>

After that, no one really mentioned what happened and things basically went back to normal. Kelo was adopted by someone after a few weeks and went on to live happily.

Lady Kaiba: Why didn't you make that part where Luna and Kaiba did "it" descriptive?!?!

Luna: I told you, if you wanted it descriptive, you write the part yourself!

Lady Kaiba: You should have made Kelo the chosen one from Kung Pow!

Luna: O_O; No way!

Lady Kaiba: >_<; KUNG POW FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luna: Eeep! ::runs for her life::

Lady Kaiba: ::starts chasing Luna around with a frying pan:: GET BACK HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
