The New Girl

Sakura: I hope my last chapter was up to your standards.

Seto: Ow...I hope...ow...not!

Sakura: You're just angry cause we set you on fire last chapter!

Seto: Who...ow...wouldn't!

Subaru and Yugi4ever: Chase Seto! "Run after Seto"

Sakura: Have fun! "Decides to make breakfast"

Joey: Did someone say food?!

Sakura: Yes Joey! And you're not getting any! "Cooking eggs on the stove"

Seto: AHHHHHH!

Sakura: Start this fic!

Chapter 8

Seto thought back to the conversation he had with Yugi and Sakura.

(Flash Back: Seto's P.O.V)

"Seto, what is your answer? I need to know if you'll help or not." Sakura said to me. Her voice seemed urgent.

"I-I..." Why couldn't I just help her. She was my friend. "I-"

"Seto..." tears gathered in those emrald orbs of hers. The world seemed like it was coming to an end to Sakura.

"I-I wish I knew what I could tell you." I moaned. "I really wish I could."

"I knew it!" Sakura sat up and ran out of the room. She looked like she was in terrible pain. She didn't even care that she was in her pj's. It hurt me to do that to her but I was so unsure of myself.

"Kaiba!" Yugi yelled at me. "How could you? She needed our help!" Yugi ran after Sakura to try and calm her down,

I sat in my office most of the night. It was as if my concence was beating up on me by not allowing me to sleep. Or maybe it was I who was punishing myself.

(End Flash back: Normal P.O.V)

Seto broke from his thoughts as an email came in on his computer. He opened it and saw it was from someone he hadn't talked to in awhile.

Dear Seto.

I miss you so much! I can't come and see you at the moment. Way too busy with school! Talk to you later!

Angel.

'Angel?' Seto looked at the email carefully. "Why would she email, oh never mind. Yugi will be glad to that she's emailed, if he doesn't ignore me!" Seto sighed.

"Sakura?" Yugi aproached her carefully.

"Y-yugi?" Sakura choked. "What do you want?" small sobs could be heard from her.

"Sakura? Seto was a little unsure of what to do. He...he hasn't had a lot of friends."

"Don't make excuses for him! Just don't!" Sakura snapped. "I'm sorry," Sakura apolized after seeing Yugi take a step back, "It's just that this paticular issue is getting to me! If I did know how to fight him. I would have by now...but...I'm just so scared. People see me as this strong person, when really I'm weak inside."

"You're not weak. You're strong. I haven't known you long, but your willing to give your own life to save another." Yugi smiled but it faded just as quickly, "But. We all fear something. You're allowed."

"Thanks," Sakura stopped crying and groaned in pain.

"Let me help you," Seto stepped into the room. "Believe it or not, I even have fears. Me, Seto Kaiba does get frightend too." He looked at Sakura with sincere colbolt eyes. "I won't think badly of you if you do have fears. So, don't worry."

"I really hate you guys seeing me like this. When I get better I'll have to kill you," Sakura smiled and stood up on shaky legs.

"Here let me help you," Seto put and arm around her waist.

"Thanks." Sakura smiled and leant against him.

"And I will help you," Seto told Sakura near her ear.

"Thanks..." Sakura fainted. Seto picked her up and carried her to the room she was now occupying. He tucked her in and watched her for a few moments.

"I'll leave you two alone." Yugi left the room.

Seto put the Millennium Cross Bow into a closet so he could talk with Sakura in private.

"You know what Sakura?" he told her even though he thought she couldn't hear him, "You're stronger than I ever could be. I take refuge from the world behind my computer. It's like I feel secure when I'm there. Lately...I don't know. My world had been...good," Seto caressed her hand.'Why can't I tell this to her face?' Seto mentally beat himself up.

"Seto?"

"You're awake?!"

"Yes...I've been for a bit but it hurt too much to open my eyes. I heard what you just said. You're stronger than you think. You just have to find it for yourself." Sakura closed her eyes and truly fell asleep.

'Kodasawa you never fail to amaze me. Stay the way you are.' Seto got up and left the room.

Mokuba watched from the walk in closet. 'Yea! Soon they'll be together!'

Seto sighed and continued a program on his lap top.

Sakura: That was a really emotional chapter to write. Tell me what you think.

Seto: I didn't like it.

Sakura: I didn't ask you did I?

Seto: You didn't have to. I am obligated to say so. Ever heard of freedom of speech?

Sakura: Yes I have, and there is limits to it, don't you know that?

Seto: Crap.

Subaru: "Hits him on head w/ Millennium Sword" No swearing!

Seto: I didn't swear!

Subaru: Yes you did!

Seto: I hate you all!

Sakura: Well, let's end this rant now, shall we?

Subaru: We shall.

Sakura: Please review!

Seto: NO! DON'T! YOU'LL GIVE HER MORE IDEAS FOR SETO TORTURE!

Sakura: Don't listen to him. Review anyway!

Seto: Why do I even stay here?

Sakura: I dunno. I've been asking myself that question for awhile now.
