Chapter 5 - the switch

##########Ryous POV##########

If Angel could be mad, now is the time. When Yami yelled at her she stormed out of the room! Not a single tear was located on her face, but I could tell she was hurt. I turned to Yami, "What is the matter with you? You really are what she says you are!" I never yelled, but this time I had reached my limit. Yami was taken aback, so was Yugi. They had never heard me yell before. "Dammit Yami! She cared! Now you go and throw all that out the window" My voice quieted some " What is the matter with you?"

After that I ran out to catch Angel. Just my luck, she ran to my place. When I got there I heard cruel laughter.

"Well, ryou decided to escape me by switching items with you." I stopped dead. Bakura was already starting to beat on Angel. I heard her through the door. "Acctually it was my idea. I wanted to escape my own Yami. He's a persistant son of a bitch! He wants me perfect. Something I cant be."

"Is that so? Well Ryou is right outside, I can ask him." Bakura went and ripped the door open " Hello. Come in. We've been expecting you." I took a tentative step inward. I was expecting to see more blood, stuff that wasn't mine, and a cowering Angel. But I saw something else. Angel was standing defiantly in the middle of the floor.

"Now, tell me, why did you switch items?" Bakura asked. But before I could answer Yami came out of the puzzle. "That's a really good question."

"I already told you Bakura." Angel was telling the truth too. "And I've told you Yami."

"Everything she says is true. I was really reluctant to switch because I didn't want her hurt."

"You don't have to worry Ryou. I've been hurt in more ways then one. Two people I've cared for broke my heart. So I can handle anything you throw at me. Plus I hold a little secret too." She looked at Yami. Realization crept over his face.

"You wouldn't dare! You have no idea how!"

"Oh, I could figure it out. And I would if I get pissed off enough." She just glared at Yami who was frozen on the spot. "Why don't you tell them? I'm sure that Ryou will find out, and I know Bakura will find out `cause I will tell him."

"No you wont."

"Yes I will, and even if you cast a spell or something to silence me I will be able to break it. So sorry. I will tell him tonight, or right now."

"I'm not saying a thing. I could get you killed."

"I don't care! I've never had friend till I met you guys now everyone is either keeping secrets form me or telling me to back off or get lost!"

Yami just stared at her. Come to think of it, I was too. I quickly looked at Bakura. He was looking smug.

"You know, I don't really care about the secret. But I now have a new puching bag," Bakura seemed happy about that

"You wont get a chance to lay a finger on me. And if you do I will personally destroy the ring." Angel spoke like she was so sure of herself. But I didn't believe any of it, I guess Bakura didn't either.

"Yeah right. You will be bleeding by tonight."

"Nope I wont be. Yami is my father a lousy one to, and Yugi is my brother. Plus my very own mother is contained in the millennium crystal. So, I have really good magical powers. If you catch my drift."

"I don't believe you" was all Bakura could manage to say

"fine then. Come here and try to punch me. Wherever you want to."

Bakura tried but was a foot away from touching her when he was thrown backward. The force knocked him unconscious. All I did was stare at her. She had more power then Bakura and Yami put together by the looks of it.

While I was lost in thought a dark cloud had formed around us. We were in the shadow realm….again.

I really really hate this place. Then I looked over at Angel. She looked more menacing then Bakura. I had the feeling that I should probably leave her alone.

/You think we should leave her alone?/

//Yeah. That would probably be best.//

/What is she doing?/

//By the looks of it giving Bakura what he deserves.//

/What is that?/

//…//

/Yami?/

//..Life in hell//

/Oh lets leave her alone. Can you take use back?/

//Yeah.//

Yami then took both me and him back to my living room. 10 minutes later Angel appeared. She looked really worn out.

"Sorry you two had to witness that. I had to teach him a little lesson."

"Did you destroy the ring?" I asked. She shook her head and pulled it out from under her shirt.

"No I didn't. I banished him to a soul cage that I came across. Only whoever put you there can take you out." She answered. And with that she passed out.

Maliks gurl: Well????

YamiAlex: Can I have a different name please?

Maliks gurl: Yeah. What do you want to be called?

???:Well considering I am a guy I need a name….Aaron?

Maliks gurl: Fine by me!
