The hellish, well concealed underground cove rested between two mountains that settled west from Domino City. Humans hardly ever journeyed near the area, or if they had, they never noticed the black hole sinking down into the dark dampness that swelled with overwhelming heat. Within that fissure lived two demons, demons unbeknownst to humans, demons that were never heard of by the normal demons. It was as if they never existed.
There were demons that controlled hatred, lies, riches, illnesses, sex, and even true love. However, these demons didn't seem to have a purpose. They were just there looking pretty for the non-existent public. Both probably could have been considered the demons of beauty. But that wasn't the case.
Neither of the demons had horns, bat wings, or tails that would give off any kind of evidence. But their appearances told otherwise. They were tall, sleek, resembled young teenagers when in fact they were much older and had the astuteness of all the men in the world.
Alister had intelligent, hazel eyes and shoulder length, auburn hair. The tips of his pointed, elf ears faintly stuck out from his thick locks. If desired, he could simply shrink them to normal human ears. His brother, Seto, on the other hand could change the color of his eyes and hair, but never his ears. His ears were always rounded and normal, with the exception of his keen hearing.
Seto could take two forms or two different people as it were, which probably could have easily been mistaken as twins with different colored hair and eyes. His golden eyes were that of an unemotional female wolf who had just killed her own pups. His bright, green hair was neatly cut, framing his face to perfect attractiveness. In his other outward appearance, it was as if he was a true human. Dark brown hair and blue eyes that still held that impassive attract to them.
As demons they were motivated to hate humans by relatives, teachers, and friends. It wasn't undemanding in their case. They adored humans, but only to a limit that they would talk to them and maybe flirt for amusement, weather it be a man or woman. However, the men were much more tempting. They never went as far as touching them though, in fear that their contact would destroy their flesh and/or lives. And, no, they weren't considered the demons of death. That was left to the grim reaper.
Also as demons, they had unbelievable strength. Each century, their powers would grow stronger and harder to learn. The new century had finally arrived, and their new powers were to convert a human into a demon. It was difficult, because the hex required words, which were unknown to demons for quit sometime. It was supposedly against the fiends commandments, because in earlier times there was an over population of demons, no thanks to the curse. Overtime, the jurisdiction demanded it to be elapsed for all of time.
Seto and Alister have always heard from the head demon, the sovereign of the underworld, Yami, say, `there will come a time when a unique youkai would dream of the incantation once again. But even then, he or she wouldn't be allowed to cast it or tell anyone of it, except under one condition.' Seto had asked what the condition was, but the only reply from the lord was, `you'll find out in time.'
There was a good quality about this magic charm. It was the last one in the existence of the demon world, or so they thought for the millennia. Demons didn't normally live long enough to learn about the last spell, no thanks to being slaughtered by humans or becoming meals by their own kind. However, Seto and Alister somehow survived the turmoil of the centuries, easily avoiding the traps by mortals and the teeth and claws of their own brethren. They were the second oldest living youkais in the world. Needless to say, Yami had high hopes for the two, especially Seto.

A/N: As many of you have noticed, I don't have a beta reader. I really don't one. Also, don't criticize. I don't take kindly to criticism. However, I would like ideas for future chapters and such. And, yes, you will be given many thanks and proudly pointed out before the story begins in any chapter! ^.^
