Chapter 11

 

Warnings: Heavy violence! It's a battle scene between two demons. Zombiedarkelf18, all credit goes to her, gave this idea to me.

Yes, he had his essence back, but no matter how good it felt, the strange sensation of distance still lingered. He missed his father, but he could do nothing about it. It was fate. He hummed to himself, cursing the heavy heat that suffocated the cove that he and his lovers lived in. Since the last four days, he realized that his new home was close enough to hell, but he couldn't do anything about that either. It was bizarre enough that he lived with demons that couldn't even touch him without wearing gloves. He removed his shirt, tossed it aside, and lied down against the cave-toasted rock. “It's hot!” He complained. Suddenly, the autumn's cool breeze brushed over his bare skin, causing him to shiver. “That'll do.” He sat up and hugged himself for warmth. “Now it's cold. What the hell happened?”

 

“You said it was hot, so I thought I'd give my support.” A tall figure knelt before Joey and smiled warmly. “You must be Joey,” he presumed.

 

Joey nodded slowly. “Yeah, that's me. Who are you?” His eyes adverted to a white flicker from behind the stranger's back. Were those wings? Angel wings? The man straightened himself and shifted his wings slightly. “I'm Rafael. Is Seto or Alister home?”

 

The teen nodded dumbly. “Y-yes. I'll go get them.” He didn't know why he was so stunned. It wasn't as if he wouldn't meet an angel sometime in the near future. He was about to stand when Rafael's hand encountered his shoulder, pressing him against the now cold rock. “What are you doing?” He shuddered to the chill that ran up his spine and the fact that the stranger's lips met his neck. “Hn…no…You shouldn't do that.”

 

Rafael purred hotly against the soft flesh and pressed his knees between Joey's legs. “You're very beautiful,” he murmured. “I can see why Seto and Alister want you so bad.” His left hand wondered up to Joey's pert nipple and gently ran his thumb over it, receiving a soft gasp of pleasure. He moved up to the teen's lips and pressed his tongue against the small opening.

 

Joey moaned into the other's mouth and welcomed the slick intruder to explore his oral cavity. He felt the heat between his legs rise rapidly and press against Rafael's leg. He absently lifted his hands up and ran his fingers through the soft locks. He didn't want the warm sensation to stop coursing through his body. However, he wished it were Seto or Alister that was making out with him instead of some guy he just met.

 

They both broke apart when a low grumble erupted from the throat of the grotto.

 

“Well, well, well. Seto, it's been a while.” Just as soon as Rafael had stood, a whip like tail abruptly knocked him off his feet and sent him into the dirt.

 

Seto appeared beside Joey. His whole body had altered into its ultimate form again. He growled as he leapt into the air and landed a roundhouse kick into the other's stomach.

 

Rafael grunted in agony, but recovered quickly and grabbed Seto by the leg to throw him off. “Damn, Seto.” After he was able to stand, he wiped the blood from his lip and flapped his wings. “You're overly zealous of that boy aren't you?” He was stunned, to say the lease, when Seto's tail struck him across the face, but not hard enough to knock him over, just stagger. He idly rubbed the bruise on his cheek and smirked. “That's pushing it, you bastard.”

 

The silver-blue demon jumped to his feet and crouched as he had with Dartz. He was planning something decisive. Dartz was the only other one that knew what the position meant.

 

Joey noted how the smaller demon resembled the creature from the `Alien' movie, including with his long tail swishing back and forth, startling the dust up in small clouds. However, Seto still had that attractive praise about him. He flinched when he felt a leather hand lie on his shoulder and squeezed it gently. “Alister,” he breathed in relief. “What's going to happen?”

 

Alister wrapped his arms around Joey and hugged him to his chest. “Seto is proving who the superior around here is. Weather the other is the second in command of the underworld or not.”

 

“Second in command? You mean Rafael is general of the underworld?” Joey turned his head so he could see Alister's face clearly.

 

The auburn demon nodded as he ran his fingers across Joey's brow, brushing his bangs aside. “Yes. You thought he was an angel, didn't you?” Alister laughed with amusement. “He's no where close to an angel. Rafael is the demon of disguise. Angels would never come to Earth unless there was a battle between them and us that could start a war.” He pointed at the taller demon. “Look at his wings, Joey. See how they're changing black?”

 

“What's he doing?” Joey asked as his eyes widened in amazement. “Is it some kind of attack?”

 

Alister nodded. “Just watch.” He forced the teen to sit in his lap and watch the action.

 

Seto spread his wings out over his back revealing how much larger they were compared to their owner. They began to glow brightly until they were completely white.

 

Rafael grinned in comprehension. “So, the rumors were true. There is a silver-blue demon whose wings will shine when he's fixing to use his ultimate attack.” He chuckled. “Don't think that's going to stop me, Seto. I have my own attack that'll cancel yours out.” He straightened his back, pressed his arms against his sides, and closed his eyes. His wings also started to glow, but more dully with a golden excel. “Prepare for you demise, Seto!”

 

Joey was about to stop the battle after hearing that disturbing statement, but Alister held fast. “Alister! He's going to kill Seto.”

 

“No, he isn't,” Alister affirmed. “He wouldn't dream of killing one Dartz's favorite demons.”

 

The teen relaxed slightly, trusting Alister's words. “You better be right.”

 

Alister nodded. “I know I'm right.” He soothingly ran his fingers from the nap of Joey's neck to behind his ears, causing the teen to moan in bliss.

 

Seto let out growl as he suddenly vanished and reappeared behind Rafael. The light from his wings had spread to his spine and down to his tail. He lifted his tail to position it at the other's back like a sword and stabbed it in until it went all the way through.

 

Rafael stiffened from the assault and pulled himself off Seto's tail to hold his chest in pain. He didn't even get the chance to use his own attack. He unexpectedly smiled as he gazed at his blood-coated hand. “I understand now. I would have surely died if you used your final attack. You would have also lost a great amount of energy if you used it.” He laughed. “Not only that, but everyone was wrong about you not having control of your true form.” He sighed in relief when his wound closed quickly.

 

Seto peered over his shoulder at the blonde demon and smiled. His body's armor disintegrated as he turned to face the older demon. “Forgive me, general.”

 

“I do,” Rafael confirmed. His wings returned to their normal, clear white and then folded against his back. “However, I didn't come here to have a fun spar with you. Dartz has sent me to explain the situation about your human and Yami.”

 

“Yami?” Seto asked flustered. “What does Joey have to do with Yami?”

 

Rafael laughed. “Plenty! He's very jealous of that human. Do you know how much he wants to eradicate him and keep you all to himself?”

 

Seto cringed. “I wish he'd understand that I don't want him that way. He's nothing more than a cousin.”

 

They both looked up to the boastful laughter from behind Joey.

 

Alister looked up at his brother and Rafael. “Yami's possessive when it comes to Seto.”

 

“That's why our master is taking extreme precaution with that human. Dartz says that Seto has the power now to change that human into a demon. He's allowed to do so, unless he has other plans for the human.”

 

The auburn demon smirked. “I don't see how that's going to help. If Seto changes Joey into a demon, he's still vulnerable to any other demon that's stronger than him.”

 

Joey glowered. They were talking around him as if he wasn't even there. Nevertheless, he remained silent, listening with profound curiosity.

 

Rafael nodded. “I understand that. However, Dartz said that the curse Seto possesses isn't just ANY curse. It can change a human into a demon that could almost be as strong as the devil. He would be untouchable by anyone he chooses.”

 

Seto stared at the blonde demon with optimism. “We…could touch him with our bare hands without harming him?”

 

The taller demon smiled. “If he wished for it, yes. Apparently, Seto, you have the greatest power that every demon would want. If I were you, I'd cherish it while I still could.” He turned away from the younger demon and approached Joey. “Dartz also hopes that you will share him with him and the others.”

 

The green haired demon snorted. “Don't count on it. He's mine and Alister's.”

 

“Yes, but remember, if you change him he can choose whether or not you're allowed to touch him.” Rafael laughed as he unfolded his wings and flapped them to lift him up into the air. “Dartz wishes you both luck. Now, I must return to my master's chambers...before he grows bored.” Without another word and a faint blush, he was gone.

 

Both Seto and Alister stared at each other with intense excitement. Seto had authorization to change his greatest desire into a demon that would be touchable if permitted. He stepped up to both of his lovers and knelt at Joey's feet. “We'd be able to touch you and love you like you've been wanting. Do you accept our proposal?”

 

Joey stared down into his lap shyly, a blush crossing the bridge of his nose. “You won't ever hurt me if I allow you touch me…right?”

 

Seto nodded. “If we wanted to hurt you, you would have been dead by now.”

 

“Okay,” Joey replied. “I accept your offer.”
