The Temple of Ashta had a lake that surrounded the Temple; it looked very tall with on going patterns carved in it. A statue of the Pharaoh sat outside the Temple. When they got inside it looked very authentic and sophisticated. Everything was neat and cleaned and everything sparkled and shined. Such a dazzling sight amazed Kimora. The sun shone inside the Temple and its gleams made the Temple look like something from a fairytale or something magical.

Princess Teania sat on the throne by herself, looking beautiful as ever and examining her blue eyes on Kimora. She was the ruler of Ashta and apparently does not have a prince along side of her. All of her jewelry was gold and her beaded necklace was different colors. She never wore that many clothes because of the usual scorching heat, but whatever she wore she looked gorgeous in. Today she wore two circular gold like jewels that were big enough to cover her nipples. She wore only panties with gold on the edges and to cover herself she wore a white cape.

Kimora thought she looked beautiful and magnificent. She knew right then and there that this has to be a queen or a princess. Kimora walked up to her slowly and bowed. Teania stood up and waved her hands. Her servants began to leave her. Teania came off her throne and walked up to Kimora. She put her hand under her chin and lifted her head up. Kimora stood up and Teania smiled. "I hear you have come from Meretseger." Kimora sighed lightly. "Yes." Teania took her by the hand and led her over to her throne. They both sat down and the old lady left the Temple of Ashta so they could talk alone. "What is Pharaoh Atemu like?" Kimora knew she must have liked the Pharaoh, so she told her what she knew. "He is a very sweet man and very nice. He seems to be looking for love but when he finds her, she always breaks his heart."

Teania no longer had a happy look on her face. "That's terrible." Kimora shrugged her shoulders. "When I first saw him, I performed for him at his palace. He seemed to like me but I never really got the chance to tell him how I felt. It was like love at first sight." Kimora remembered how she felt the same way, at one time. "He is a very kind and compassionate man; he just needs the right girl that can love him." Teania smiled joyfully and Kimora was about to get up and leave. "Where are you going?" Kimora began to cry as she looked up at the ceiling. "I don't like or love him anymore." Teania was shocked to hear this.
She got up and went over to Kimora who was balling her fists up and shaking with anger. Teania hugged Kimora as Kimora put her arms around her and hugged her tight. She felt sad just thinking about the Pharaoh but she couldn't get him off her mind because she still loved him. Teania stopped hugging her and put her hands on her arms. "I will show you around my city, maybe it will take your mind off of things." Kimora titled her head downwards and shrugged her shoulders again.

"How would you like to see me perform? I am a belly dancer and a very good one." Kimora looked up and smiled. "I belly dance also." Teania was determined to make her happy and she finally found something that she was interested in. "Come with me, I want to see you perform." Kimora was nervous about performing because she didn't know if she had it in her anymore. "Are you sure?" Teania knew she would do just fine because she had faith in her. "Yes I'm sure, I know you will do well. If you believe in your heart that you can do it, you will accomplish many things." Kimora was ready to perform for them as she did before at her home.

Teania gathered the townspeople around in a circle and Kimora came out and danced for them. They were delighted and surprised that she dances so well and so gracefully. She twirled around and moved from side to side, moving her hips to the beat of the music that was playing. This pleased the crowd very much. They began to clap and cheer excitingly. As her soft stomach sparkled and glistened in the bright sunlight. She felt happy and she felt like she wanted to live again. Teania was also happy and delighted. She changed a sad and depressed girl's life around and brought the good spirit back inside of her.

Meanwhile...

The Pharaoh sent Maya out to tell Kimora's friends that she is missing. He knew that they would be outraged and all Hell could break loose. Maya walked slowly through the village and saw Kimora's friends. She gulped and went up to them. "Kimora ran away from the palace." Rishad dropped his shovel and went up to Maya; she backed away and started shaking. "What the hell did you just say?" Ashila pulled Rishad back away from Maya. "She said Kimora ran away, but where could she have run off to?" Marlene shook her head and began to cry. "We must find her at all costs."

Rishad gathered his men and they marched to the palace. Marlene and Ashila ran after them. Marlene stood in front of her husband and he pushed her down onto the ground. One of the villagers helped Marlene up and Ashila ran ahead of Rishad and his men and stopped them. "Look dammit, fighting against the Pharaoh will not do anything for us. You will all be killed if you try something so damn stupid. All this foolishness will not get Kimora back." Rishad stomped his foot hard onto the ground and threw his shovel. "I am loosing my damn patience. That bastard said he would take care of Kimora and now you're there telling me she is gone and I'm supposed to sit around here and do nothing." Ashila slapped him hard across the face and she began to cry with anger. "I'm loosing my damn mind because you think that to resolve the issue we have to fight. We will go look for her and you will not touch the Pharaoh. He didn't loose her in the first place she ran away and you should be thankful that he even bothered to help her out."

Maya knew that they cared deeply for Kimora and if she knew were she was she could help them find her. Maya stepped up to Ashila with her head down, rubbing her hands together nervously. "I want to help you guy's find Kimora" Ashila looked at her and looked back at Rishad. He nodded his head so Ashila agreed. "Yeah, you can help us. We will meet at my house tonight and I'll give you more information there." Maya nodded her head and walked away towards the palace. Rishad and his men went back to finish their daily work. Ashila went over and stood next to Marlene. "We'll find her, I just know it."

Inside the Palace...

When Maya got back to the palace she walked up to the Pharaoh and bowed. The Pharaoh sat on the throne tapping his fingers on the armrest of the chair. "My Pharaoh, I am going on a quest with Kimora's friends to search for her." He immediately stopped tapping his fingers and stood up. "You cannot go. Let Kimora's friends handle this mission on their own." Maya frowned and smacked her lips. "But, I want to help." Priest Seto stood in front of her and she immediately backed away. "The Pharaoh said no, now go away." Maya ran away upstairs and into her room. Maya began packing up her things and getting ready to search for Kimora. She waited in her room until darkness falls.

Sarai came into Maya's room and sat down on the bed next to her. "Why do you have your things packed?" Maya picked up her book and began reading it. "Because I am going to help Kimora's friends find Kimora." Sarai heard the Pharaoh say no to her but she knew Maya was going to go anyway. "You know he will be highly upset if you leave and he told you not to." Maya shrugged her shoulders. "I don't give a damn; I should be able to make my own decisions not the Pharaoh." Sarai got off the bed and stood next to the door. "If you feel the need to then go ahead. I just wanted to tell you that I'm here for you." Maya cracked a little smile and placed her book inside her bag. "Thanks and if someone asks for me tell them I went to find Kimora." Sarai nodded her head and left the room. Maya grabbed her stuff and headed out her room. She took one last look and she shut the door. She slowly crept to the palace gates and left.

Inside the Village...

She walked the silent streets of the darkened village looking for Ashila's house. When she looked inside a house which had candles lit and lots of people inside she knew it had to be Ashila's house. She walked up to the door and knocked twice. Ashila answered the door and let her inside.

Inside Ashila's home...

"I'm glad you could join us. We already had some people search the entire village earlier and they didn't find her so, that means she must have left the city and gone somewhere else. I have a map of Egypt, which will help us locate the different cities, and we can see if Kimora is there." Maya looked around at all the people and all their things that they had gathered to go on this mission. She was happy that Kimora had so many friends and so many people that cared for her. "Well everyone lets get going." Everyone clapped and cheered like it was a sports game and they got onto the horses and exited the city. Maya looked back one last time at the city and kept going.

She thought that this journey might be interesting and fun. They will be traveling to different places and seeing new faces, it would be a good experience for her. Even though, she didn't want to leave her friends behind or disrespect the Pharaoh, she felt it was time for her to see other parts of Egypt through her eyes. They began by traveling through the fairly hot desert until they reached a village or a city.

Meanwhile...

When Kimora was done the crowd clapped and cheered even louder. They were delighted that she could dance as good as Princess Teania. Teania walked up to Kimora and gave her a hug. "I knew you could do it." Kimora was happy as ever and felt more relaxed. She knew now that she would start her life here and forget about everything else. "Thank you so much." Teania guided Kimora towards her garden inside the Temple, were they had drinks and food together.

Inside the Garden...

It is a beautiful garden with trees and flowers of all kinds. There was a statue surrounded by a little lake that Teania always sat by. The statue depicted the first ruler of Ashta. There were more females in Ashta than males, so the women ruled over this city. Kimora and Teania sat in the garden, to drink and eat. Teania wanted to know a little more about this stranger and about her home.

"How did you get to my village?" Kimora put her hand on her head trying to remember what happened that night. "Its okay if you don't know." Kimora scratched her head and all of a sudden she remembered that an elderly woman brought her here. "An old lady brought me here." Teania remembered the old lady that came into the Temple with Kimora but she didn't know who she was. "What was it like there?" Kimora sighed and picked up her glass of wine and drank some. She set the glass back down again and shook her head. "It's a long story." Teania looked up at the blue sky and stared down at the soft dew covered grass. "We have plenty of time. I really would like to know how you met the Pharaoh."

Kimora took a deep breath to release the ongoing frustration inside of her. "Well, I used to live a good normal life as a belly dancer and occasionally I would help the people with whatever their needs were. I was walking in the village to get water when I bumped into a man with a brown cloak on, as soon I gazed into his innocent eyes I felt a tingling sensation run through my body, I didn't know who he was and I've never seen him around. We talked for a while and he wanted to meet me at the Nile River by this large stone that was sitting on the sands.

I met him there and he revealed to me that he was the Pharaoh. I personally was angry but after talking with him for a while I couldn't resist. I fell deeply in love with him and I thought maybe one day this would work out." Teania stared at Kimora listening to her quietly, for it seemed to be getting pretty interesting for her. "The next day someone framed me and I was whipped the following day in front of everyone." Teania's mouth hung open in silence as tears escaped Kimora's weary eyes. "You were whipped, for something you didn't do. That is so cruel, at least they should have given you a chance to explain yourself." Kimora wiped her tears away and drank some more wine.

"Well the damage is done and I'm never going back to that horrible place again." Kimora got her wineglass and headed towards the exit of the garden. "Do you still love him?" Kimora stopped and turned around towards Teania. "Yes I do. I can't get him off my mind no matter how hard I try." Teania knew she still loved him but she had to ask. "Why don't you go see him?" Kimora knew she couldn't hide the truth. Even though she hated him on the outside, on the inside she still loved him and wanted to be with him. "I don't want to see him. Besides, he probably doesn't love me anymore so, why does it matter that I love him?" Teania stood up and walked over to Kimora. "You shouldn't keep your feelings bottled up inside, if you love him tell him how you feel. Whether he says yes or no, you will feel much better." Kimora sighed and walked off.

Teania stayed in the garden drinking her wine. Her friend Bakura (whom has helped her out in the past) comes into the garden. He just saw Kimora walk by and was anxious to know who she was. Teania doesn't know that Bakura is the King of Thieves. He looks at her in a sexual manner and pictures dirty thoughts in his mind. Of course he can do whatever since he is surrounded by beautiful women and Teania is in his dept because he saved her life. Bakura sat down next to Teania and lied his head in her lap. "Who was that young lady?" Teania knew that Bakura was interested in her so she thought she could help Kimora out by having her spend some time with Bakura. "She is a friend of mine from Meretseger." As soon as she said that Bakura sat up and looked into the sky. "Bring her to my chambers." Bakura cupped Teania's chin and kissed her. After that he got up and left.
