Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ The Passion, The Pain, The Lust Part I ❯ Ashta No More... ( Chapter 10 )
Later on at Night...
Teania, her servants, Kimora, and the elderly woman all met at the Temple with their things packed and ready to go. Teania took one last look at her beautiful Temple and she said a prayer hoping that her family will forgive her for leaving. She wanted to stay and help everyone but all her so-called loyal citizens are against her. After she got done praying, Teania led everyone out of Ashta and into the desert. When they got further out into the desert they decided to set up a camp and go to sleep. Teania lied down inside her tent and stayed up most of the night crying. Her home and her life was going to be destroyed. She didn't know where they were going to but any place is safer than her home.
~Next Day~
Inside Trento...
Ashila and company spent the whole day yesterday searching for Kimora. They still did not find her and now everyone thought that she surely had to be dead. They gathered their things and traveled to the next town. Their next destination was Ashta. Ashila was really worn out and tired from their long search. She prayed and prayed in hopes that Kimora is still alive somewhere. Her mind was telling her that she is dead and her heart was telling her she is alive. Whatever it was she was not going to give up and she seemed to have a good feeling about the fact that Kimora might be in Ashta but she will have to wait and see.
Meanwhile....
Teania and company ate their food and continued on their way until they got to the next town. Teania did not talk to anyone that much. She just held her head down and rode with the rest of them. She wanted to go back but she knew that they wouldn't let her put herself in danger like that. Kimora was still pissed off about that young girl and by the mad expression on her face she didn't want to be bothered either. They had soon arrived in Trento and they stopped at an inn to put their stuff down and go explore the village. It seemed very outgoing and loud. There were tons and tons of people everywhere. Kimora decided to take Teania with her to investigate the town. It seemed like a fun and a very interesting place as well. Everyone settled down and took a much-needed break.
Inside the Palace...
Mana walks in and sees the Pharaoh standing on the balcony looking a little down and she cheerfully walked over and stood next to him. "Are you alright?"
"No....."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No......"
"Look, if it's about that girl this morning then you shouldn't feel bad. I almost cried too when I saw that. She was really sweet but don't blame yourself, just try to move on and hope that the person who really stole Priest Karim's Millennium Scale feels sorry for what they've done."
As Mana was walking away the Pharaoh turned around and she stopped.
"Thank you Mana for your concern but I'll be alright I just need a little time alone."
"Anytime, you know you can always come and talk to me about anything on your mind."
"Thank you....."
Inside Ashta...
A woman was walking by the Temple and she didn't see any guards or Priestesses standing outside. She decided to go inside the Temple and take a look around. When she did get inside there was no one to be found and the whole place was empty. She thought someone had broken inside and took everything. She searched all over the Temple and still no one was there and everything was gone. She immediately ran into the village bar and told everyone. Word gets around very easily and soon everyone knew that there was no one inside the Temple and everything was gone. The young lady, who preached about Teania's cruelty, knew that Teania had run away from the village. She was not at all disappointed. She had an evil grin on her face as she stood on top of a table over looking the puzzled villagers.
"People of Ashta, It has come to my attention that Teania has departed from Ashta and we will need a new leader. I will be your leader." Some of the people were happy and some thought that it was unfair. Three young ladies stepped in front of the crowd because they wanted a chance to be the people's new leader. "Well I can do a much better job than you can." The other 2 young ladies that stood beside her agreed as well that they could do a much better job. The young lady who was standing on the table turned towards their direction and began to laugh. "It has already been decided that I will be your new leader." The people started to become violent and then other young women in the crowd wanted to be the leader of the people.
They yelled and screamed at each other and than a fight broke out. One side wanted another girl to be the leader and the other side wanted the other girl to be the leader. All hell started to break loose when the women grabbed their weapons and torches to attack each other. They began to fight and many women were killed. The children were screaming, the babies were crying, the people were setting houses on fire, and chaos rained throughout this violent city. But after all the fighting they were doing, the Temple was not set on fire. This was a civil war going on and the outcome of it will not be a good one. Both sides seem to be loosing people by the minutes.
Some of the people escaped the town to avoid all the chaos. They wished that Teania was here and they wished they had taken back all the bad things they said to her. She was a very good leader and honest to her people. She tried to make wise decisions and helped anyone as best as she could. She never let her people down and she was always respected. Who could ask for a better leader than Teania? The people couldn't seem to see that through there narrow minds. Now they will pay the ultimate price for their violent behaviors and lack of respect.
The whole village was engulfed in flames and all you could see was their homes burning and the sparks of the flames flying into the air. It was very gray and windy outside. But than little droplets of rain started to emerge from the sky and pour down onto Ashta. The rain started to get heavier and soon it was pouring down rain on the angry people. The people who managed to escape the village were on their knees crying out to Ashta. "When will this madness ever stop?" one woman cried out as she lied on the ground ashamed of her self and her fellow villagers.
It was their fault that everything turned out deadly. But the spirit of Ashta was not happy with them at all......for they have shamed a great city.
After a While....
The battle finally ended and the people outside the village left they're destroyed home and went on a search to find a new place to stay. Ashila and company had arrived there and they saw the burnt houses and dead bodies all over the place. They slowly road into the ghostly village and couldn't believe what they had seen. One women had a spear drawn into her body and coming out the other side. A skeleton of a little baby lied on the ground. Their were two heads stuck onto a pitch fork and body parts such as the arms, legs, ears, heads, hands, and guts were all over the place. Maya was too scared to go further inside the village but they had to see if Kimora was one of these disgraceful victims. Rishad and his men parked their horses and searched carefully through the torn and tattered bodies. They didn't see Kimora but they did find a garment of hers that she has worn before. Rishad carefully picked up the garment and yelled to the top of his lungs. He was sure now that Kimora had to be dead.
They searched through the village again and they still didn't find her body. They were worried even more and they couldn't picture the thought in their minds that Kimora might be alive. They practically lost all hopes of finding her but Maya did not want to give up just yet. "You guys it's just a garment. She probably escaped from the village and went to another town." Everyone remained silent for a while until Marlene looked up and saw the Temple, which was not burned down. Rishad and his men got back on their horses and they all rode to the Temple. When they got their it was in perfect condition as it was before. All this confused them but none the less, they all went inside the Temple and looked around.
They found nothing and no one after searching through every aspect of the Temple as much as they could. Rishad put his hand on his chin and was thinking about something. "I believe that there was a war going on and it must have just ended because the dead bodies are not dried up." They all thought it could be true and that maybe Kimora did escape. Maya sat down and drank some water. "Maybe Kimora is heading back home to see us." Ashila began to think the same thing as well and Indeed Kimora was heading back home. Rishad smiled and got back on his horse.
"Alright than everyone lets head back home and hopefully Kimora will be they're waiting for us." They all cheered and got back on their horses and rode out of Ashta. Ashila was saddened by all of the dead bodies that she saw but she didn't let it get to her. All she knew now was that Kimora must be safe.
It continued to rain over the silent city of Ashta. As the sun peeked out from the gloomy sky and its crystal rays lit up the Temple. A spirit of the first ruler of Ashta appeared in front of the Temple's door. A tear fell down her eye as she gazed upon the dead people. She was ashamed of her people and had never expected this to happen. After looking around the burned village her spirit disappeared back into the sky.
