Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ The Passion, The Pain, The Lust Part II ❯ The Underground Passage ( Chapter 1 )
Inside the village of Trento....
Hasina, Queen Teania, and her servant had just finished posting flyers up at Dali, Aerith, and Min-nok-tet. All is left is Trento and then they are on their way to see the Pharaoh. Although Teania was a little skeptical about leaving her people during this difficult time, she trusted them, especially her Priestesses.
Inside the village of the Shepherds...
As Kimora and Christ were walking through the village, a large crowd begins to form in the middle of the road. They quickly run over and see a possessed man with horns on his head, and his Ka going wild, and tearing up everything in its path. Kimora watched for a few seconds and she finally couldn't take it anymore, she decided to use her new Ka................ Chaos Emperor Dragon, it wasn't nearly as strong as her Diabound but it was more than enough to defeat Saggi the Dark Clown. Without fear she stepped in front of the frightened elderly people and defeated this strangely possessed man with horns and his Ka. All the people cheered and clapped for Kimora and her Ka, but what puzzled her the most is how did that man become possessed. On the ground Kimora saw a black orb, she didn't touch and she told the people not to touch it. They all stepped a few feet back as Kimora knelt down beside this mysterious black orb, examining it. "Here stick that big ball of hell into this bag." An old lady handed her a bag and Kimora used a stick to push the black orb into the bag.
"Do you know where it might have come from Kimora?" Christ asked. "No, but I feel that someone in this town is hiding....................Controlling this black orb from a distance." Kimora stood up and looked carefully around town. She saw nothing or no one that might look suspicious. "Let's keep walking, maybe we'll find a clue on our way, just be on a close look out." Christ nodded and the two kept walking.
Inside the Village...
There was total chaos inside the city. Many villagers were beginning to become affected by this black orb. Some people stayed inside their houses and refused to come out. The black orb was buried but it some how came back and was causing destruction all over the city.
Even though the guards fought the possessed people, the ignorant villagers kept touching it thinking that it may be worth some gold and therefore becoming possessed. People were running around screaming, closing their shops, and the guards were rushing to defeat these possessed people before they could do any serious harm to anyone.
Inside the Palace...
Priestess Ishizu began using her millennium necklace but to no avail she was not getting a sign of anything. The power of the black orb kept the millennium necklace from finding the source. The Pharaoh sent his strongest guards out into the village to guard the black orb that sat in the middle of the road, waiting for prey to arrive. "Why can't these ignorant peasants stay away from the black orb? Its not gold, its a destructive little black ball that possess people and yet those fools still seem to think that it will be worth a fortune." Priest Seto ranted on and on about the peasants but as long as the guards stood watch over the black orb than no one else will get killed. "I'm quite sure that the people know now that this black orb can possess you. Everyone has retreated to his or her homes until we can stop this thing. I've sent an army of soldiers out to find out who is controlling this thing, so we should get a response back soon." The Pharaoh tried to comfort his angry Priests but they were still distraught over the townspeople who did not heed there warning about the black orb's evil powers.
Inside the Village...
Hasina, Queen Teania, and her servant had just arrived in the village but no one was outside. It was quiet as a tomb and only the wind blew through the empty streets. Their horses slowed down, and walked slowly through the empty village as they looked around for at least one person. When they got towards the Palace, the guards that were guarding the black orb stopped them. "Halt, there are no villagers allowed outside their homes until it is safe, now go home." Queen Teania looked around and didn't see anything dangerous lurking about. "I'm Queen Teania and I have come to see the Pharaoh. These are my servants." The guards whispered amongst each other and decided to let them pass. "Alright you can go." Queen Teania bowed politely and then they all rode on towards the Palace. They parked they're horses outside the Palace gates and entered, only to find the same quietness and emptiness that they saw in the village.
Inside the Palace...
"What the hell is going here? Did Bakura attack or something?" Hasina's voice echoed through the Palace and now they were all starting to become frightened. "I'll take the twins up into their rooms. Queen Teania, why don't you check and see if the Pharaoh is in the conference room." Hasina walked away and Queen Teania snooped around the Palace trying to find the conference room while her servant tagged along closely behind her. Queen Teania saw two large, gold, double doors, and she decided to peek in and sure enough this is were the Pharaoh and his Priests were chatting. Her hands shook uncontrollably and her heart raced with each passing second as she opened the door even wider catching everyone's attention. "Umm, hi everybody." Queen Teania spoke softly.
"Its good to see you Teania, what can I do for you?" Queen Teania sat down next to the Pharaoh, putting on an act of shyness. "I have some bad news about Kimora. During Ashta's battle with Prince Darien, she chased him out into the desert and never returned back to my city. My people have looked everywhere, and we have not found her or him. I need your help that's why I came." The Pharaoh sat silent for a while and Queen Teania reached over and held his hand. "We'll help you Teania. Priestess Ishizu can use her Ka to search for Kimora and we will find her for you and me. Until then we will wait." The Pharaoh dismissed his Priests but he stayed seated with Queen Teania. "So, the Prince who I thought was kind turned out to be evil."
"Yes, it was a shock to me too. He betrayed my father and burned down my city. I know Kimora killed him but there was no trace of her or him. She saved my life and I will stop at nothing until I find her."
"Well I'm glad you told me. There have been problems here too, that's why all the villagers are confined into their houses until it is safe." Queen Teania automatically thought that Bakura was on the loose once again. "Is it Bakura?"
"No, it is some mysterious black orb that possesses all that touches it. So far 100 people have been killed." Queen Teania had never heard of such a horrible thing. "How did so many people get killed?" The Pharaoh slammed his fist on the table and crunched his fingers.
"I sent my Priest into the village to tell the villagers to stay away from the black orb, one of the thieves that was banished into the desert found it and returned to the city. At that time one man was killed at night. One of my guards defeated the man and returned to the Palace to tell me, and as soon as he left someone else touched the black orb starting a cycle of possessed people. That's why so many were killed."
"If you can defeat it, I would be every grateful." Teania didn't know how to defeat it so she was just as clueless as everyone else was. "I can't help you." The Pharaoh got up and left the conference room returning to his throne. "I wish I could help you but right now you're my only hope."
Inside the village of the Shepherds...
Kimora and Christ checked every house and asked almost everybody but no one seemed to know where it came from. They walked into the bar and ordered non-alcoholic drinks. When they sat down at the table, a part of the floor that Kimora's feet were covering felt hollow. "Hey Christ? This floor feels weird." Christ stared at her in a funny way and looked under the table. "I don't see anything." Kimora stomped her feet and it felt like it was a door on the floor. "Listen carefully." Kimora stomped her feet again and then the two girls hoped out the chairs and pushed the table aside. The people began to stare and the bar tender was getting angry. "Hey what the hell are you doing to my shop?" One man stepped up for the girls. "They're trying to find out who is controlling that black orb that possessed that man in the village early this morning."
"Well why didn't you say so? I heard about that terrible incident. Feel free to look wherever you want just as long as you find it and get rid of it." Kimora and Christ thanked the man and the bar tender and then opened up the door on the floor and found a set of stairs leading downwards. "I don't wanna go down there. It looks too scary." Kimora held onto Christ's hand, trying to comfort her. "Well we have too. Just stay close to me, I'll protect you."
Inside the Underground Passage...
Kimora and Christ slowly took a step further down and further down, until they were on solid ground. "This place is filthy." Christ said as she removed the spider webs from her clothes. "We're almost there just a few more steps." A row of torches sat on each side of the walls lighting up the pathway, which then led them to a door. Kimora opened the door and there sat a person with a black hooded cloak and an even bigger black rob sitting in front of them. Christ stood by the door as Kimora stepped closer. "Umm you are the one controlling that filthy black orb right?" The person said nothing. "Well I want you to stop it or else." The person still sat silently. "Hey!!! Answer me right now?" The person chuckled and stood up, removing they're hood.
