Inside the Sanctuary of Darkness...

Two servants came out of the left corner and another two servants came out of the right corner. "If you all cooperate then my servants nor I will harm you.................." Bakura cautioned them. The servants stood in a line and awaited Bakura's orders. The servants wore black cloaks that covered their faces halfway leaving letting their vicious red eyes and their awkward shaped mouths show.

"Take off all their clothes and chain them to the stone tables so that we may start the Ritual." The guards took off all their clothes by force, not caring were or what they touched on their bodies. "Bakura, we don't want to do this anymore..........." Kimora pleaded. "It's too late.........chain them to the tables." The servants grabbed their arms and legs and chained them to the table but they didn't try and scream for help because it was useless.

With their arms above their heads and theirs legs spread apart. Two servants stood on the left of the pulpit and the other two stood on the right. Bakura opened the book and began chanting these spells. Surprisingly, Kimora was familiar with this. She read it in her spell book. Nenya turned her head and faced Kimora who was looking up at the ceiling, shivering. "Kimora, what's going to happen to us?" Kimora was silent for a moment but then she replied. "I know this spell. Some evil spirits will come out of Kuruelna and take over our bodies."

"What's Kuruelna?" Nenya said terrified by the situation. "To make a long story short....................Just know that it is a thief village, the birthplace of Bakura, the sacrifice and death of many people by an evil Priest, and a place no one dares to tread." Nenya gulped and coming out of the book were two spirits. They flew over to Kimora and Nenya and then entered their bodies. Their screams shook the servants as their bodies arose, breaking the chains. They stood up straight and bowed down to Bakura. Their faces were pale, their eyes were red, and their long hair was blowing rapidly all over. "Yes, now the ritual is complete and my Pharaoh will be in for a special treat."

The servants left the pulpit and brought out some clothes for Kimora and Nenya to put on. The servants put on the clothes for them and Bakura closed his book and got off the pulpit.

"We will raid the Palace tonight. I will lead the Pharaoh on a chase and you will block his path. Do whatever it takes. Now come, we have a score to settle........" Bakura, Kimora, and Nenya left the Sanctuary of Darkness and they each got onto their horses and rode to the Palace.

Bakura held up the Millennium eye in the air and shouted: "Victory is mine!!!" He then rode away and the Pharaoh burst through the Palace gates on a gallant white stallion chasing swiftly after them, with Priest Seto and Priest Karim following closely behind.

Inside the Village....

Bakura raced on ahead as Kimora and Nenya stopped to barricade the pathway. Their horses faced the oncoming Pharaoh and his Priests as they held their hands out. "Get the hell out of the way!!!" The Pharaoh yelled. When the Pharaoh got up closer and realized it was Kimora, he then stopped. "Kimora........What are you doing?" Kimora and Nenya opened their crimson eyes, which began to frighten the horses. Nenya and Kimora began to speak. "We are servants of Master Bakura. Should you choose to cross us we will retaliate."

"Kimora........What has happened to you. Why are you being this way? Step aside we must stop Bakura before he destroys the village."

"We cannot defy the Masters orders. He will punish us if we do. I cannot let you pass and I will not let you pass." Kimora's alarming voice shocked the Pharaoh and his Priests.

"Bakura................Bakura possessed her and now she is under his command. But...............why? Why would you take his side? Bakura...........Of all people.........why?"

"You know Kimora I don't know if I love you anymore" She said to the Pharaoh and he knew right then and there what this was about.

"Kimora.........did you honestly believe that I didn't like you anymore?....is this why your doing this?"

"......................."

"Kimora I like you but.....................I don't know if I love you but I don't want you siding with Bakura. Come back to me Kimora. Stop this madness. No matter how angry I am with you I would never want you to go off and do something like this please reconsider?"

"No Kimora!" Bakura rode in front of Kimora, facing the Pharaoh. "The Pharaoh said he doesn't know if he loves you anymore so why bother with him. Now................kill him!!!" Kimora got off her horse and prepared to summon her ka but the Pharaoh grabbed her hands, looking her straight in the eye.

"Kimora...............I love you. I was just saying all those mean things because I was angry..................I shouldn't be.................Because you came and told me up front about what happened with you and Priest Mahado.......I guess it was just a harmless kiss............I'm sorry.......please..........don't do anything you will regret.............I don't want anyone to think that you are a criminal............tell me............do you..........love me?" Kimora's and Nenya's eyes changed back to their normal state and the spell was broken. "Of course I love you..................." Kimora and Nenya passed out onto the ground. The evil spirits of Kuruelna circled around the Pharaoh and his Priests and then they departed.

"Pharaoh, watch out!!!" Priest Karim shouted as a beam of light came soaring towards Kimora and the Pharaoh but that was blocked by none other than the God of Osiris. They all got back on their horses, while Osiris held off Diabound until the Pharaoh was ready. "Dammit." The Pharaoh put Kimora onto his horse and Priest Karim put Nenya on his horse and positioned them so that they wouldn't fall off, sending the other two horses back to the Palace.

The Pharaoh chased Bakura through the streets, as the people came out of their homes watching them duke it out. Osiris and Diabound headed into the sky and battled each other there but after a while, Diabound was starting to gain an advantage over Osiris who's power was weakening as well was the Pharaoh's. Diabound had a much higher advantage over Osiris because it was nightfall and with Diabound's endless special abilities and advantage in the darkness, Osiris and the Pharaoh as well were doomed. But the only one who could prevail over darkness was the God of Ra.

But without his full strength the Pharaoh cannot summon the God of Ra to the field and Priest Seto and Priest Karim's Ka's weren't going to hold out much longer.

But, the Pharaoh refused to give up just yet. He was more concerned about protecting the city from Diabound's fierce attacks than saving his own life. Kimora slowly began to open her eyes and as she looked around she could tell that things were not good for the Pharaoh she thought about her Ka inside the Millennium Crystal and decided to transfer all its energy to the Pharaoh. "What did it all mean?" The Pharaoh thought to himself. But it was time for him to put all questions aside and act now. "Your reign of darkness has just come to an end, now only the depths of hell await you! I summon the God of Ra to the field!" The people began to appear out of their homes as the darkened clouds parted, the light shone through, and Ra made its almighty appearance in the sky striking Diabound and Bakura without hesitation, making the ground shake below them.

"This is not the end..............Pharaoh.............I.............will..........be....back ." Bakura's final words before he perished but Diabound returned to its original owner, Kimora. The Pharaoh looked up at the sky and winked at Ra, who winked right back before returning into the sky and returning the nightfall as it was. It was silent for a moment but then the cheers of the people were heard throughout the city as the Pharaoh and his Priests made their way back to the Palace. The Pharaoh waved back to his people while making his way towards the Palace.

Inside the Palace...

It was almost morning and Kimora was inside the Pharaoh's chambers and Nenya was placed in Kimora's room. The Pharaoh stood over the balcony, which overlooked his whole city, watching the miraculous sun rise, feeling much better now that Bakura is gone but something in his heart was trying to send him a message. Like Bakura is still alive somewhere.............he might come back but the Pharaoh was more confident now and the next time he shows up it would be fatal. "My Lord, I'm sorry to disturb you but our doctors have checked up on Kimora and Nenya and they both seem to be doing fine." Priest Karim said. "Thank you." The Pharaoh said in a soft voice. Priest Karim left.

"Why would Kimora doubt me like that? Now I have an even bigger crisis on my hands. She knew that Bakura would attack Priest Akunadin and she knew that Bakura was planning to raid my Palace. Was I that harsh to her? Did I make her heart turn cold? Now my heart feels cold. What will my Priests think of her now? They have been so patient with her and me and now they won't trust her anymore..........but then..............How could I ever trust her again?"

"My Lord, the Priests are waiting for you inside the Conference room, and we have just got word that Priest Akunadin is going to recover." Priestess Ishizu said. "Alright........I'll be there." The Pharaoh followed Priestess Ishizu into the Conference room and sat down.

Inside the Conference room...

"My Lord we cannot trust Kimora anymore. I do not want her in this Palace and I do not won't her anywhere near the people were she can cause more obstruction." Priest Seto shouted at the Pharaoh. "Before you go making quick judgments I would like to bring someone in to see you my Lord." Priestess Ishizu left the Conference room and brought in Ashila with Kimora's children.

"My Lord, (Ashila kneeled before him) before you punish Kimora, let me tell you that she didn't know Bakura attacked Priest Akunadin. Many other villagers and I are willing to testify against that. As Kimora was coming to me about something I heard someone yell in the distance, that's when Kimora called out for Bakura and he came to her. Then I saw them go inside Kimora's old home and they stayed there for a while and then................and then when they came back out, their faces were pale and their eyes were red. It was scary. I knew Bakura had done something to them. He possessed them. So before you do anything please believe I am telling the truth.

You wouldn't go against the word of your people?" As Ashila left the Conference room the Pharaoh called out to her. "Wait! Do you want to see Kimora?" Ashila turned around and nodded. "I'll take you to go see her. And to my Priests, I think you all know very well that if the people say that she didn't know Bakura was planning to attack Priest Akunadin then I will stick with their word. If anyone objects to that please let me know now." The Priests were silent. "Good. Priest Seto send troops to Kimora's old house and search everywhere and report back to me when you find something."

"Yes my Lord but how was it that Bakura was able to possess them without any sort of spell book or millennium item?" Priest Seto wondered. "Bakura knows many things and casting spells to possess people's minds is not new to him." The Pharaoh walked away and led Ashila to Kimora. The Priests continued on with their duties but Priest Seto was still in doubt about the situation.
