Inside the Courtyard...

Kimora and Nenya met up with Hasina and Sarai to talk to them. Hasina and Sarai were seated on a bench and as soon as they saw Kimora, their faces turned angry and they stood up and walked over to Kimora with their heads up and their fists balled up to the side. Kimora and Nenya just laughed. "What the hell do you backstabbers want?" Kimora and Nenya sat down casually and crossed their legs. "Sarai and me felt that you didn't have to hit us in the damn head just because you can't get the Pharaoh. I mean come on let's be serious, what chance does a mere servant have with a Pharaoh. No chance in hell. I don't even know why you go through this, it's pointless. We try and help you and this is how you repay us? I mean if it weren't for me you would have still been stuck in that raggedy old town with those raggedy old people. You should be kissing our feet right now." Kimora stood up and moved closer to Hasina.

"Are you finished yet?" Kimora growled. "Yes I am." Hasina pouted. "Good." Kimora turned around and her hand came swarming swiftly at Hasina face, with a loud smack and then she hit the table and fell on the ground. "First off, Teania was sent by the Pharaoh to come and get me but you just tagged along behind. Second, you're just mad because someone like me has a chance with the Pharaoh and maybe even becoming the Queen. I share more with the Pharaoh than any of you will ever know, you on the other hand will never experience true love because your so busy breaking up other people's relationship. Your too ignorant to start your own knowing that it will never go far anyway. My friends have helped me more than you two ever have because we share a bond that no one can break. And those raggedy old people are my family. I regret everything I ever told you and if I would have known from the start I wouldn't have let you backstabbers come into my life, but now that's all about to change. Our friendship ends here and from now on we are enemies so if you come near my friends or me you had better watch out........."

Kimora and Nenya walked out the Courtyard. "That was so good Kimora. You put those girls in their places. Even though I wasn't with you when all of this happened I still think you put them in their places."

"Yeah, although I feel much better now I know its not going to end here. Their going to threaten me, harass me, mess with the Pharaoh to get me riled up, and worst of all, hurt my children. When it comes down to that I will not tolerate it and I will not be merciful. It's like an evil cycle. First Shana, then Asenia, then Maya, now this. What am I doing to deserve this? I'm always getting threatened by power hungry and envious women who seem to think I am evil and undeserving of the Pharaoh's love. Now I'll admit that I have done some bad things but........"

"But you're way better than those girls are. They wish they were you. They want to be able to acquire what you have by taking your dignity away from you but I know you won't let that happen because you are a strong girl with a big heart now if that was me those girls would have been dead but that's me. What they need to learn is to be themselves and get a life not try and break up other people's lives.

"Yeah, you're right, I really don't take them seriously now. I just can't believe they acted so fake. To my friends and me and to tell you the truth I thought about killing them myself or seeing them get killed. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if that happened to me. I want them to get a taste of their own medicine.........but I know they will one day."

A servant came up to Kimora and bowed down before her and then stood up again. Kimora and Nenya stared at each and shrugged their shoulders. "Kimora, your bath is ready." The servant bowed again and left. "What was that all about?" Nenya said scratching her head. "I don't know..." Kimora mumbled. "I guess I better get going, see you around Nenya." They waved bye to each other and went their own separate ways. Kimora went into the bathroom and took off all her clothes. She stepped in the tub and sat down. Leaning her head back and closing her eyes.

~In a Dream~

Kimora was walking down the dark streets inside the village. She saw a crowd of people by the Palace gates and she ran over and pushed through them and started screaming immediately. Her eyes got big and watery, her hands were covering her mouth, she started shaking all over as she saw the Pharaoh, Priest Seto, and Priest Karim riding swiftly on their horses like bats out of hell chasing after Bakura who was laughing at the young woman's body that was nailed to the Palace gates. She saw the Pharaoh summoning Osiris again but when the Pharaoh saw Diabound it seemed to be much stronger than before. Then they rode out the city and into the desert. The remaining Priests were escorting the villagers inside the Palace for safety while Kimora stood outside looking at the dead body.

All Kimora could see was her short brown hair and olive skin, which seemed to resemble............................"No.........no................no.....it can't be.............that isn't........" Kimora screamed again and then when she woke up she saw the Pharaoh standing above her.

~End of Dream~

"Are you okay Kimora, the servants thought you were going crazy or something."

"I'm fine. I just had a really bad dream.............That's all." She got out the tub and grabbed her towel and began walking swiftly back to her room. "Wait a minute Kimora." He ran after her and grabbed her arms slowing her down. "What do you want?"

"What kind of dream was it? Bad or good?"

"It was bad.............very bad and I really don't want to talk about it."

"Was it something about you? me? my people? what was it Kimora tell me?"

"All I know is that you might be in danger. Or someone close to you might be......."

"Kimora, what the hell is going on?"

"I really really don't feel like talking right now. I just want to be alone."

"If you don't tell me what's wrong how can I help you? And if my people are in some kind of danger don't you think I have a right to know?"

"It was just a dream; it's probably not real. Just a scare."

"I have an idea. Why don't we meet at our little spot by the Nile, tonight? Then you can tell me then. Maybe you'll feel much better when nighttime rolls around."

"Okay, I'll be there." Kimora went inside her room and locked the door.

Inside Kimora's rooms...

She crouched down in front of the door trying to keep from crying. "Was that dream for real? Who was that girl? Teania? No it can't be!!!" She picked up a bottle and threw it at the mirror shattering it to pieces. "What should I do? This is driving me crazy and I think I'm losing it. I hope that girl in my dreams was not one of my close friends. At least if it isn't that'll give me some kind of relief......"

She put on her oils and put on her clothes staring at the shattered glass on the floor. "I've got to stay calm......" She cleaned up the shattered pieces of glass and placed them on the table. Then she left the room and ran into Nenya.

Inside the hallway of the Palace...

"Hey Kimora, what's wrong why do your eyes look red? Were you crying?"

"Yeah a little but I'm okay now."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really......"

"Okay then we'll talk about something else. Come on I know somewhere where we can talk." Nenya grabs her hand and leads her out the Palace gates and into the village.

Inside the Village...

"Come on Kimora lets walk around the village its a nice day today and you don't have to worry about Bakura anymore."

They walk through the village and Nenya stares Kimora who is holding her head down looking at the ground. Nenya sighs and then strikes up a conversation. "So umm....tell me a little about yourself. I mean I only know a few things about you and since were best friends I wanted to get to know you better." Kimora lifted her head up and smiled a little.

"Okay then. Well I was born here and our family was poor. It was my 3 sisters, my mother, my father, and me. My father was the general of Pharaoh Aknumkanon's army for a long time until he got really sick. My mother was just like me. She would help out anybody who was hurt even if it was a criminal because once she helped out the thieves they never stole again and she got in trouble for that many times. One day she went to the Nile for water and disappeared. When my sisters found out they cried for weeks. My father had told them a lie saying that a thief killed her but I knew that that wasn't it. My mother disappeared because she was chosen to become a Goddess. I found that out not too long ago. My sisters left me when they got older and I had to take care of my father alone. But I managed. A regular job wasn't helping me much so I had to find cash fast so I became a belly dancer and practiced from the other women I saw. Eventually, we moved into a nicer house and lived a rich life. My father never stopped smiling until he died."

"Wow. That's amazing. What was your mother's name?"

"Asana. But we called her Sana."

"I have seen her Temple before and its lovely. Pharaoh Aknumkanon's wife constructed it. She was such a generous woman. They both were. I wish I had a mother like that......."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I was born in a raggedy old thief town. I forgot what it was called but then again I never cared anyway. Our people were attacked by Pharaoh Aknumkanon's guards for this stupid ritual. The Pharaoh needed something to protect his kingdom from the thieves that wanted to attack the Palace. They did not have the military strength to fight us so they used some book to get a spell that has the ability to manipulate an army of God's and Demons.

Using this powerful spell it transformed into a precious metal that made seven treasures letting the user acquire these mysterious powers. To accomplish this they had to sacrifice 99 Kuruelnian people. My father was one of them. When they raided our village only a very small handful escaped. Only the Pharaoh and his 6 Priests fought the Kuruelnians. They used a shadow power to summon creatures and strike the enemy back and of course they won but they'll all regret it one day........even though I didn't approve of my people being thieves and planning to raid the Palace they didn't have to be so damn cruel to them.....but I guess that's life. My father was a deadbeat son of a bitch anyway. He never liked my mother and only wanted her for sex so of course he didn't like me. So I guess getting him out of my life gave my mother and me some kind of relief. We traveled to this small Shepherd village and were welcomed in with open arms by those kind people and every now and then I go to visit them and bring them gifts."

"Hey I have been to that Shepherd village. Did you meet a man named Ironheart there?"

"Yeah, he was so cool and full of many great stories and myths. I loved being around that village but when my mother died I left and went back to see Kuruelna. It was the same. Nothing has really changed except for the evil spirits that lurk about but that doesn't bother me."

"Did you know a man named Bakura?"

"No can't say that I have. What did he look like?"

"Well he has white hair and-"

"Wait a sec? I knew a little boy with white hair, although I never talked to him that much but I have seen him before."

"So because of the people being sacrifice Bakura wants revenge on he Pharaoh?"

"Yeah, I'm afraid so. He tried to convince me into helping him but I refused. I have partially gotten over the Kuruelna incident. Does the Pharaoh know about this?"

"No and I don't want him to know. Promise me you won't tell him?"

"Promise. You don't have to worry about me telling him but why do you want to keep it a secret?"

"Because.............I don't want any conflict to start. I want to keep things they way they are right now. Nenya......I am terribly sorry about what happened to your people."

"Aw forget about it. It's in the past. I'm okay."

"Do you remember who was leading the army that attacked your people?"

"Yeah. How could I ever forget that son of a bitch. He was Pharaoh Aknumkanon's brother. He had long black hair at the time and a pointy mustache."

"Long black hair? Pointy mustache? Priest Akunadin!?! I should've known."

"What's wrong Kimora?"

"I need to get back to the Palace. We are all in serious danger."

"Danger?"

"Just come on. We must hurry. Why couldn't I have figured this out sooner? It all fits in perfectly. Priest Akunadin attacks Kuruelna and makes an agreement with God and Demon and basically sells his soul to the darkness for a wish? But what is it?"

Is Priest Akunadin really an evil person? Is he the one that is bringing about danger to the People and the Pharaoh?
