Inside the hospital room, a mother Notsoka held her small newborn son in her arms. Tried, hot and sweaty she waited as her husband, Sota, came in. he kissed the top of her head before looking down at his child. "Congratulations you're a daddy!" she whispered in his ear.
She passed her husband the baby and lay a little bit furthered down in the bed.
Sota looked at his small child, brown hair, eyes closed, pale skin…he was so small. As soon as the baby opened his large blue eyes to look at his father, a pain, sadness and fear rushed over Sota. He quickly passed the baby back to his wife, then left the room.
With a child in her arms, Notsoka knew, if felt like millions of pins striking her heart all at the same time. She looked at her son, his blue eyes showed fear as well, but for a different reason.
Notsoka pulled her child close to her chest; she could not even explain the sadness she felt in knowing the years to come. "Ohh….my poor little baby…..my poor little Seto."

"Papa…were are you? I'm scared!" The five year old Seto cried. He stood in the middle of a busy hospital hallway. There were tall doctors and nurses pushing past him, his mother and father weren't even there.
"Shouldn't you be back in the lobby little man?" A patient said, noticing Seto all alone.
"NO!" he screamed, he wanted his parents, and not the lobby.
"Seto, control your voice!" Sota, tear stained, walked out of the hospital room. "Come with me…" he took his son by his hand and led him into a room to were a bed were the boy's mother lay.
"Seto..?" she just barely whispered.
"Yes Mama." Seto said, he walked over to hold his mother hand.
"Seto, you have a new baby brother, Mokuba, please, promise me something."
"Okay Mama."
"Promise me you'll take care of Mokuba, all threw your life, his life, take care of him because I can't. Take care of him when daddy can't. Promise?"
"Yes Mama. But why can't you take care of Mokuba?" Seto asks, but its too late, the hand he was holding goes heavy, and limp, her skin turns white and her head tilts a side, she dies.
"MAMA!!!" The five year old cries, "No Mama! Please don't leave!"
The boy lets goes of his mother's hand, then looks to the small crib in the small crib, next to his mothers dead body, to a crib were a small little baby is, anger fills his body, as he grabs hold of the edge of the crib, and begins to shake and shake it. "I hate you! This is your entire fault!"
A nurse walks in, and pulls Seto from the crib, then drags the screaming boy out to the hall. She shakes him, and tells him to shut up. Doctors move in and Sota walks out of the hospital room.
He bundles the child in his arms, fear washes over him like it did many times before, a fear that scared Sota himself. "Shhhh…Seto….shhhh"

The next few weeks Sota brought Mokuba home, he was still a small baby, but clinged to Seto's hand all the way home. Wanting to hate Mokuba, Seto kept pulling away, until Mokuba finally got frustrated and began to cry.

Mokuba lead over to hold Seto hand, but seto pulled away.
"C'mon seto, let Mokuba hold your hand" Sota said. Listening to his father, Seto held out his hand for Mokuba to grab. Mokuba did so, and stop crying. "You're a good big brother you know" Sota said, starting up the car.
Seto didn't mind have his little brother hold tightly to his hand on the ride home, actually Seto himself enjoyed it.
