A New Family

Juliana and Seto ran to the nursery. Raven was having major contractions. Screaming in agony as the contractions we're hurting her. Seto and Juliana just made it to the nursery. "Seto, go get me some cold water in that big pot and some towels, HURRY!" Juliana said.

"Okay I'll go get them!" Seto yelled as he ran to get the water and cloths. Juliana was instructing Raven to breathe.

"Raven, breath in and out in and out." Juliana said.

"HOW CAN I BREATHE?!" Raven yelled.

"Raven please listen to me or you'll hurt your babe."

"THIS BABE IS HURTING ME! AHHHH!! I'M GOING TO GET SETO FOR THIS! HE'S THE ONE WHO GOT ME PREGNANT!"

"Of course Raven."

"And I am also the one who cares for his wife!" Seto said as he came in with towels and a big pot of cold water. "Here Juliana will this be enough?"

"Its plenty now go and get some blankets for the babe its January and its cold, and come back in 30 minutes please get stuff that Raven might need."

"Yes I will." Seto then ran to his and Raven's room and got blankets from the closet. He then got a book for Raven, her necklace, and new toys for his child. He then ran to the small alter and kneeled down. He then began to say a prayer, "Dear Lord, please take care of Raven. I lost my mother when she gave birth to me. Please Lord let her live and the babe too. I don't want to lose Raven or my son…or daughter…please Lord give Raven the strength and will to give birth. And to live. Amen." Seto then ran to the nursery, to give the stuff to Raven.

"Raven, you got to 6 centimeters, 4 more then your ready." Juliana said.

"WHAT IS IT WAITING FOR?! CHRISTMAS?! IT'S JANUARY!!! AHHHHH!!!"

"I'm here I brought things that Raven might need." Seto said.

"Good now Seto, please help me be by Raven's side and comfort her. I'll try to calm her down its only four more centimeters."

"Good." Seto responded.

Four hours later

"Raven its 10! Now your ready for the delivery!" Juliana yelled.

"THANK GOD!" Raven yelled.

"Okay now Raven your going to have to push for the babe to come out, okay?"

"OKAY!"

"Come on Raven you can do it!" Seto encouraged his wife. Of course it was a little painful to see his wife go through all that pain. But he had pain too, like Raven gripping his hand so tightly, but he didn't mind. He was so glad that in a few minutes, he will be a father. Raven then pushed so her baby can come out of her.

"I SEE THE HEAD!" Juliana yelled.

"GOOD NOW I WANT THE REST TO COME OUT!" Raven yelled.

"OKAY JUST A BIG ONE, COME ON RAVEN!" Raven then pushed as hard as she can until her baby came out. Instead of hearing loud yelling, a baby's cry was the only sound that came. Raven's head collapsed on the pillows, as she clutched her eyes and breathed heavily, her chest moving up and down with every breath she took.

"It's girl Raven, a beautiful baby girl."

"A girl!" Seto yelled, "Raven! We have a girl!" Juliana then cleaned the baby of all the blood with the water. She then bundled up in the baby in blankets and gave it to Raven. Raven got up and got to see her baby.

"It's my daughter!" Raven yelled joyfully, "Seto we have a girl!"

"Yes, Raven, we have a girl." After the birth of the baby Raven decided to rest, Juliana took the baby and let it sleep in the cradle.

"Come on Seto, we better leave them to rest, they both been through a lot." Juliana said, "Lets go to the Alter and pray for them."

Five Hours Later.

Seto went inside the nursery to see Raven. He wanted to be near her, to comfort her, to tell her how happy he was to have a child. Once he got in Raven woke up. She opened her eyes to see Seto. "Seto," Raven said in a dry voice, "Hi."

"Hello, sleep well?" He asked.

"A little," She then got up and leaned her back on the pillows, "Look I know how much you wanted a son, but…"

"Raven…I'm not disappointed. Like you said don't tempt mother nature. So I'm glad that I have a child. Boy or girl."

She sighed, "Oh Seto. Bring our daughter here with me. You can hold her if you want."

"Sure." Seto then got up to the cradle and picked up his daughter. The baby let out a small yawn and it almost began to dry, Seto shushed the baby softly to calm her down. And she fell back to sleep. Seto then handed the baby over to Raven.

"Seto, lie here with me." Raven requested as she scooted to her left and Seto laid on his side to see his daughter.

"She's so beautiful." Seto said, "I think she has my eyes."

"Maybe we can't tell for sure."

"What about a name?" Seto asked.

"Hmm, well how about we make up one?"

"Like what?"

"What was your mother's name?"

"Eva, why?"

"How about we name her Adena?"

"Adena…" Seto whispered to himself, "I like it." Just then Juliana walked in. "Hey, who's that pretty woman?" Seto said softly to his daughter, "That's your grandmother her name is Juliana. And that pretty woman above you is your mother, her name is Raven."

Julian waved her hand a `hi' motion to her granddaughter, "Hi." She whispered.

"Mother," Raven started off, "Thank you so much for helping me."

"Your welcome Raven, now that you have a daughter, whats her name?"

"Adena…Adena Rosenkreuz."

"No." Seto responded.

"No what Seto?"

"Not Rosenkreuz, not until we're officially married."

"Seto, we're still `married', so her name is Adena Rosenkreuz."

"Your right. Adena Rosenkreuz, welcome to our family. Almost everything is complete."

"What do you mean?"

"We still have to get married officially Raven."

"And our child's baptism! Lets not forget that."
